Food was tasty so far, although my steak was further cooked than I ordered and the amount of fries wasn't worth the extra money. Towards the end of our stay, the air in the restaurant was very stuffy from the kitchen and we had to wait a relatively long time to pay.

Food was okay but not a highlight either. With the Iskender I would have liked crusty bread with lots of butter but unfortunately that wasn't the case at all. The lava plate is completely cold even though it has to be hot. The worst part of the visit was when we wanted to pay... we asked if it was possible to pay by card and the waitress said "it's better to pay by card but you pay in cash" which in my opinion isn't possible at all...

An absolutely successful visit! The rump steak was cooked perfectly – exactly how I wanted it, between medium and well done. The meat was juicy, aromatic and seasoned to perfection. The side dishes were also delicious and the portions were just right. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service: the staff was very friendly, attentive and made the evening even more pleasant. The ambience is also stylish and invites you to enjoy it. I can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!

The food was absolutely top notch - from the quality of the ingredients to the preparation, everything was just right. Every bite was a delight and the dishes tasted great. The service is particularly noteworthy: the service was very accommodating, polite and responded to individual requests and changes without any problems. The service staff were always friendly and tried to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The price-performance ratio is also more than okay. The price is absolutely fair for the quality and quantity offered. Conclusion: A restaurant that you would be happy to recommend and visit again and again. We'll definitely be back!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit the Steak House Ya Medina in Mannheim - a restaurant that specializes in high-quality steaks. Our overall experience was very positive, although there was one small point that could be improved. Ambiance & Service The restaurant impresses with a stylish and cozy atmosphere. The decor is modern, yet warm and inviting. However, we noticed a small point of criticism right at the beginning: our table had not yet been cleaned, and it was only cleaned after we asked. This should actually be a given before guests sit down. The service itself was polite, but seemed a bit inattentive or distant in some places, which slightly spoiled the otherwise positive overall impression. Food & Quality Now to the most important part – the food. We had a selection of different steaks and side dishes to test the cuisine in the best possible way. • T-Bone Steak, Filet & Ribeye: All three cuts of meat were of excellent quality, grilled to perfection and cooked to perfection. The fillet steak was particularly impressive with its tenderness, while the ribeye scored points with its intense flavor and juicy marbling. The T-bone steak combined both worlds - strong in taste and yet tender as butter. • Side dishes: We chose baked potatoes, rosemary potatoes and scalloped mushrooms. The potatoes were crispy and aromatic, with a subtle scent of rosemary. The baked mushrooms were creamy and had a pleasant spice - a perfect complement to the steak. • Feta from the oven with vegetables: The melted feta was wonderfully flavorful and harmonized well with the vegetables, which were still slightly firm to the bite. A great Mediterranean addition to the more hearty meat dishes. • Salad with raisins, cheese, pomegranate seeds and walnuts: This salad was a real surprise! The combination of sweet raisins, crunchy walnuts, fruity pomegranate seeds and savory cheese was excellently balanced. A refreshing and special side dish that you can't get everywhere. • Dessert – Baklava: Finally we had baklava which was exactly as it should be – sweet, crunchy and with a delicious filling. A successful end to a great meal. Conclusion The Steak House Ya Medina impresses with good steaks and side dishes. The quality of the meat was really good and the side dishes were creative and tasty. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the unusual salad. The only negative point was the service - an uncleaned table and somewhat inattentive service slightly spoiled the impression. If a little more hospitality and attentiveness were shown here, the restaurant could be a real top restaurant. ⭐ Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars Definitely worth a visit – especially for steak lovers!

We ordered steak and burgers with rosemary potatoes and fries. Everything was very very tasty. The steaks tasted perfect and were nice and juicy. This was definitely not our last visit.

Their meat is delicious, Medina satala has raisins and a strange taste. There is no treat at all. Even french fries are charged. Its staff are cold and sullen. He just laughed a little when he saw the tip. Prices are crazy.

Best food and steak ive had out in sooo long! the steak was so juicy and soft (i had to order more bread to soak up the delicious juice). The grilled veggies were also amazing! We have been there in winter without reservation which was not a problem. Enough space was available. The interior is really nicely decorated and everything fits the overall theme of decor. I even like how the card looks. Service was friendly and attentive, he really did a good job. They told us they are out of tenderloin (filet) right away when we arrived. Sadly that reduced the menu options significantly. Steaks (medium rare) where tasty and the quality of the meat was good, so were the fries and rosemary potatoes. The spare ribs were covered in a thick layer of barbecue sauce on top wich wasn't well executed. The music in the restaurant was a bit too loud and distracting at times as well. Other than that a positive visit.

A lot of things from the menu were covered over and the steak we wanted to order wasn't available either. Then we left. Therefore no review of the food is possible.

Very tasty food. Juicy steaks cooked to perfection, delicious side dishes... Unfortunately it sometimes happens that there is no meat, otherwise highly recommended. My recommendation: Rump steak (medium) or Rib-eye (medium)

Overall, the restaurant is very attractively designed, and the food impresses with a solid 8/10. The service was also friendly and attentive, which made the visit pleasant. However, the condition of the toilets leaves an extremely negative impression. Not only were they unhygienic, but they also appeared very run down. The meat was juicy, the sauce was perfectly seasoned and the side dishes rounded the whole thing off. The service was super friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

A restaurant in Mannheim without one Alcoholic drinks are not possible, sorry, but we are here in Central Europe and not in an Islamic state. Nevertheless, the food and service are good.

Delicious food but disappointing service I recently dined at Medina Steak House and would like to share my mixed experience. The food was really delicious, there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the service didn't match that. I ordered an Ayran, which was served to me unpackaged. Since I didn't want to drink it that way, I politely asked for a closed ayran to be brought to me instead. However, I was informed that they do not offer closed ayran. I then asked to exchange the Ayran for water as I had not yet touched the drink. But this was also rejected by the waitress on the grounds that this was not possible. I find it very rude and not very customer-oriented that I was not offered an alternative in this situation. It's a shame that the service was so disappointing, otherwise the food would have left a very positive impression.

The food was just ok, the price is not justified. The steak was okay for 30 euros, the hamburger was okay too, as were the fries. Baked potato was cold, we didn't think it was okay. Sheep cheese was the best.

Portions are ok. Price does not always correspond to quality. Ambience speaks for itself. The staff differs greatly... the young generation in the service area shines with weak communication and behavioral problems.... Exceptions confirm the rule: anyone who meets the lovely lady in her mid-30s is lucky! I've tried Lokum fillet 3 times now and it doesn't disappoint. Güvec was nothing…T-Bone is a disgrace…. I visited this business on 8/12 at 12:05. The interior of the company is very nicely furnished. The food was prepared quickly. But the food was very average. The steak was ok, but the burger and fries were not tasty. And the service was a disaster. The business was empty and there was a long wait for drinks, and also for payment. The attendant had no money to issue in his wallet. I had to pay exactly, otherwise the staff should not have issued it.

Top location, great ambience, nice employees. There is even a masjid (with Wudu or Abdest options available) May ALLAH open all the gates of Cennet Paradise to the one who remembers it. Never again! We were here today (on a Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m.) with a reservation. The first thing the waitress says when handing out the menus: 1. no rib eye 2. no card payment. When asked why no card payment was made, the answer was “the device is defective”. Who are you kidding here? In a kebab shop everyone probably has 10-20€ in cash, in a steakhouse where there are five of us, should we have cash? This is the second time we've experienced this here and we'll avoid this store! We know exactly why there is no card payment here! After I pointed out the card payment, the waitress went to her boss/work colleague and laughed and explained the situation - my mom was in the toilet at the same time and overheard the conversation. We then left and ate somewhere else. Be sure to ask for a bill after you eat here. Can't recommend it to anyone here! Ridiculous and 1 point too many.

We were really looking forward to the visit, the staff was very nice. The meat wasn't really tender like the last time I visited last year. The performance/quality wasn't right for the price... It's a shame.

The meat was far too dry and the cooking wasn't done at all. It smelled extremely in the restaurant. I know that in a restaurant it smells like food, but here it smelled like a butcher's shop.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the visit a pleasant experience from the start. The atmosphere in the restaurant appears upscale, but at the same time inviting and relaxed - you immediately feel at home. Particularly noteworthy is the menu, which is creatively put together and varied. Not only taste is offered here, but also a lot of attention to detail, which you can feel in every dish. The menu is a joy to sample as it offers a perfect mix of classics and innovative creations. I don't really need to say much about the quality - the restaurant really deserves its excellent reputation. The ingredients are fresh, the preparation is first-class, and every dish is an experience in itself. I really hope that there will be more locations soon.

Unfortunately, we returned disappointed from the place we went to with enthusiasm. Most of the dishes on the menu were not available (then why are they on the Menu?). The first thing the waiter said to us was that we could only pay in cash. The food arrived quickly, but the quality was well below our expectations. The hamburger bun was dry and the meat was thin. Steaks were quite tough. Only fries were available with the steak, and the salads were standard. The waiters were not very friendly, but they did their job. Overall, it should have been a more delicious meal for the price we paid. Frankly, I felt sorry for all that money. I don't think I'll go again. Finally, I went to their branch in Frankfurt and I left there very satisfied. Everything was great there.

Where should I start? On the menu they have T bone steak. Apparently it was sold out at 6pm on Saturday night. As a starter we had grilled sheep's cheese and grilled vegetables. Overpriced and doesn't taste good!

My husband and I went to their Medina Steakhouse in Mannheim for the first time today. We went in with a positive attitude, but unfortunately our expectations were not met. First of all, it should be mentioned that the women's toilet smelled very bad. The toilet paper and soap were not in the appropriate place. The hand dryer didn't work, so I couldn't even dry my hands. I expect high hygiene standards from a “classy” steakhouse. About the food: We ordered two steaks. When the Medina Lokum was served I asked myself, where did the meat go? There were more greens on it than meat. After all, at almost €30 you expect a filling amount and not 150 grams. The side dishes weren't filling either. The service: I am happy when young people work and gain experience. However, there is still a lack of professionalism and coordination. The meat was satisfying but not at all worth the money. We're never coming back.

There was neither kebab nor lamb. The food is okay, but there are actually better options in Mannheim.

I took a detour because I had heard about the supposedly excellent steaks in this restaurant on social media. Unfortunately, I discovered that there were no steaks at all, which was very disappointing. The service was also not convincing: the waiter did not maintain eye contact throughout the order taking process, which lacked the feeling of hospitality. The pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant should be mentioned positively, but this alone was not enough to make the visit worthwhile. Overall, I can say that the detour wasn't worth it for me.

Positives: decent looking place and the Turkish bread they served as entry was 1st class. It was nice for them to not charge the 2 Turkish teas and extra bread. Negatives: First thing is that they had a malfunctioning card reader so we had to walk to get cash. It’s a common problem in Mannheim 😉. Feta cheese starter was very average. Ribeye stake wasn’t properly seasoned, cooked over the medium requested. The main issue was the quality of meat where it tasted rubbery and on the tasteless side. A humble ribeye from Lidl can easily beat this €30 stake. Probably the locals had similar experiences here hence we were the only customers at 8pm on a Tuesday. Hope they be more serious about food going forward.

Wanted to eat steak with a Muslim friend. He comes from Heilbronn, a 80km journey. I wanted the beef ribs as a starter and the T-bone as my main course. When we arrived there full of anticipation, placed our order, we waited for our food. 3 minutes later, we have no ribs today… and no Tbone either. Alternatively, 600g rib eye. So change of plans starter: cheeseburger, main course 600gr RibEye. Cheeseburger came after what felt like 5 minutes, it was “OK”, the ribeye came immediately after the burger was finished. On the plate 2 steaks, 1cm thick instead of 3-4 cm. Cooking level therefore difficult. We ordered medium-rare, it was medium at maximum. The quality of the meat is “ok” - I would say that the steaks are cooked sous-vide and portioned in advance, hence the 2 pieces. It also tasted somewhat fibrous, which is also an indication of that. We were really looking forward to the evening because the homepage looked very promising. In the end, it was maximally disappointing because you drive 80km, everything is “off”, and then what you eat isn’t really outstanding either. There was a waitress (female) who tried very hard, always brought tea, was super friendly. In the end, we paid a colleague, gave a tip of €15 (despite everything) and he runs away with the money and doesn't even say thank you. Completely crazy. Service would be 1 star; but one colleague made it a second one. Ambience difficult, rather a slightly better kebab. It's a shame, but we won't be drawn there anymore. Judging by the empty DryAge cupboard in the entrance, the restaurant is lacking customers, but honestly, if everyone only comes once, it will be difficult.

Usually i would have given 5 stars, but the service used to be better. Ever since the nice lady with the bun left, the whole dining experience lost its charm. I really hope she comes back since this used to be my favorite restaurant and she always provided excellent service which in turn made the whole experience perfect. She was the only one that often checked in with us to make sure that everything was okay. I really hope she’s doing okay!! Also the women’s bathroom smells bad but the food is really good

The prices for meat are “understandable” but what is not possible is that there are no side dishes at all, which cost at least 4 euros more So you pay 30-50 eueo for the meat, there's nothing else and that's cheeky!

So today I was at your restaurant in Mannheim for the second time, each time there was no kebab and only a slimmed down menu. I drove almost 150km each time. I won't come a third time. Really disappointing. Addendum: I wrote some feedback on Instagram. They seriously blocked me shortly after. GUYS REALLY GO EAT ELSEWHERE!

When we arrived we were immediately told that card payments were not possible and the main meat specialties were out of stock. It's a shame that there is no meat in a meat place. When we asked the staff who needed training, they said that no meat had been delivered for a few months and that it was similar with card payments... well... I was really looking forward to my visit to the Medina Steakhouse in Mannheim, especially after the appealing videos on Facebook and YouTube. Unfortunately I was disappointed. When I got there at 5pm on Saturday, the kebab was already sold out, which was very surprising to me. The drayage chests were also empty, which reinforced the impression that everything wasn't going well here. The ambience of the restaurant is nicely designed, but unfortunately not really comfortable. The overall impression remains somewhat ambivalent. My ribeye steak was okay, but I expected a lot more for the price. The meat could have been more tender and flavorful, which should be a given for a steakhouse in this price range. Overall, I didn't find the price-performance ratio convincing. In summary: The food was okay, but the overall impression fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the discrepancy between the highly polished videos and reality is clearly noticeable. Overall I am disappointed and would rate my visit as mediocre.

If you want something good to eat then definitely here. Everything tastes like smooth 1, I've never had steak like that anywhere or the kebab, it's just very tasty and they do it completely differently. Staff is top. The prices for the quality is nothing. So I could write a novel about how good this is, but it's best if you come alone and try it alone.

The premises are attractive, but the employees still need training in terms of service. The quality of the kebab is excellent, from the meat to the bread. We recommend a test because the meat is prepared exactly like in Turkey without many spices. We have not tested the meat range. The price-performance ratio is reasonable.

Unfortunately I can't write a positive experience. This is my first Google review ever. For the money you leave behind, it's not worth it. Half of the menu is unavailable. “No lamb or kebab is out” on a Friday evening? Only sat down with a small child and no mention of no card payment. Had to go out and organize cash again. On the second attempt it suddenly says we don't have any lamb, so half of the menu is eliminated. A glass of Ayran costs just €4.60. When it came to paying, the waiter took his time, probably hoping that we would leave a decent tip for the poor service. We were there 3 years ago and it was definitely miles better.

I am completely disappointed! My wife and I drove an extra 300km to eat your famous kebab, when we arrived it was around 3:30 p.m., we were immediately told what was not available, that was almost everything! The waiter came to the table and put the cards in front of us, told us there was no kebab, almost everything was already done, but then he said there was no t-bone either and no lokum either. Then I decided on the lamb skewer and then he coldly said to me yes, I don't have lamb either. Then we got up and left. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to come here. I would have really liked to eat this kebab, unfortunately we weren't able to.

EC machine didn't work, there was kebab neither. I wanted a T-bone steak, but that wasn't available either. Now the two steak pieces were totally different, one was as tender as butter, the second piece was almost tough. I like fat, but it wasn't particularly edible. Unfortunately not good overall...

Food was ok, we had curry lentil soup, chicken skewers with rosemary potatoes and cheeseburgers. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the kebab from Ya Medina today. The bread felt like it was a few days old. Meat was very dry and shouldn't be up to Ya Medina's standard. My visit was therefore disappointing and therefore not recommended.

We recently visited YA' Medina and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Although we were looking forward to a pleasant meal, the meat didn't taste good at all. The YA 'Medina in Frankfurt is 10x better in terms of taste. Given the price, we were pretty sad to have paid so much for so little enjoyment. The only thing that saved the evening was the friendly waitress, who was very helpful and attentive. Your service ultimately managed to raise our rating to 3 stars. Overall, the meal was unfortunately hardly enjoyable and we would definitely have expected more for the price. Maybe we were just unlucky, but based on this experience we unfortunately cannot recommend YA 'Medina in Manheim.

I was there with my whole family and we were all very happy. Why only one star for the food? It was beautifully presented, but the newly introduced "doner kebab meat" was an absolute disaster. Any drier and you could have used it as a dehumidifier. 3 people had the kebab meat. It wasn't edible for everyone. Why only 2 stars for the service? The service was very friendly. When we cleared away only 2 of 6 place settings were taken away. The rest just stayed on the table. The service preferred to just chat with colleagues at the bar. No dessert or anything similar offered. Very unpleasant! Why only 3 stars for the ambience? The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Visually it really fits in with a steakhouse. But unfortunately the toilets stink right into the hallway. Terrible mix of urine and drainage. This absolutely must not happen. The toilet attendant sat comfortably at a table and was busy with her cell phone. Can't you smell that? What else is “not” noticed here??? This was definitely the last visit for the 6 of us. Very unfortunate. Things are much, much better in Offenbach.

Today we went on horseback to that tavern to feast on the day's food. We were offered two doner kebabs, but unfortunately these turned out to be not very good, as the bread was of a poor age and was hard, as if it had been baked in the depths of the oven. The kebab master was not in sight because the spit was silent and the shop was only sparsely attended. I have to admit that this was truly the worst kebab I have ever eaten. No comparison to the branch in Offenbach. It pains me to say that the quality here has been so degraded.

It's a place I go to because I love good food. But the last time we went, payment by card was not working.

The restaurant was relatively empty. The menu is very clear and the menu is put together from different experts, each of which also costs individually. Personally, I think a lot of things come together. The meat is well prepared, but not great for the price. The side dishes weren't really convincing either. If you don't eat meat often, you're welcome to try this out. Not suitable for professionals.

Ordered fillet and fries for dinner. So the meat didn't taste that good and there were very few fries. For almost 30 euros you can really save on the food there

When I come here I leave feeling completely satisfied. The food is highly recommended, the staff are very friendly and nice. The prices are all very fair and there is something for every budget. Personally, I'm just happy

The two of us were in Ya Medina for the first time on Sunday around 1:00 p.m. We were greeted by a very friendly, smiling lady named Yesim. She offered us the most beautiful place in the Ottoman area, unfortunately we didn't know since we were there for the first time What we should eat, thanks to a nice recommendation from the waitress, we tried the Medina Lokum and rib eye steak, it was perfect, the steak came medium rare, just as we wanted. It was exquisite. The prices were very reasonable and not overpriced. We would like to thank the friendly, personable waitress Yesim for her humorous and funny manner.

We are currently on a short vacation in Mannheim and discovered the shop here through TikTok. The service was really super friendly and the food arrived very quickly and warm. We ordered the rump steak and an iskender and both are really highly recommended! It was one of the tastiest meat dishes we have ever tried.

Not so many choices for Iftari in Ramadan and small portions

It has a nice atmosphere but a bad location. The employees must have been watching funny videos on their phones instead of paying attention to us :) When he brought us the menu, he looked as if we were his enemies! The hamburger I bought for my child was really good. But Medina Turkish delight and steak were a complete disappointment. In short, this place I went to after being influenced by social media was a regret for me!

Came to the store at 7 p.m. because I made a reservation 5 days in advance and I just had to admit it, I waited until 9 p.m. for my food. Since it still wasn't there, I got up and left the employees on site, especially the boss or whatever kind of guy he was, he was very cheeky and unsympathetic. I'll never go there again and won't recommend it to anyone. Dealing with customers is zero!

The female waitress was terrible and almost threw my plate at me. It really cracked when she threw it in front of my nose. It wasn't a mistake because she didn't even mention it. Grilled vegetables were just cold. Meat was tough. The location is very nice.

It is very outrageous if you order a fillet and get a folded sirloin steak, but pay the price for the fillet. Something like that is not allowed to be sold. Unfortunately it happened to us twice and we won't see them there anymore.

Unfortunately I have to say that it was a big failure to come here. We made a reservation for 15 people and after an hour of driving we discovered that the menu had been reduced by 70% and we were not informed.. To be fair, you have to say that it is Ramazan but it is all the worse for us.. we have Reserved weeks ago and no one told us... the conditions were completely overwhelming and I didn't know what was going on. Still, she was very nice. But I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. The store should have this experience after as long as they have been open. We had vegetarians there and unfortunately they couldn't eat anything because the menu was changed at short notice...

We were here for the first time today and were extremely disappointed. The ambience and service are okay, but the food?! We ordered 2 Iskender steaks, fries and grilled vegetables. The Iskender steak was cold!!! How can a high quality meat be prepared so poorly? The tomato sauce was more of a puree, the bread pieces were ice cold. The grilled vegetables probably came from the fridge and not directly from the pan. The only good thing was the fries. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed, so we won't come back again.

We dined here in a small group for our birthday. Ordered different dishes. It was Ramadan, I hope it was a special experience because of the high number of visitors. Staff extremely unprofessional, some with a lot of inexperienced young 'children'. Plates and glasses were carelessly thrown in front of us. The food really wasn't good for the price. Lentil soup was pumped full of curry (it left my stomach churning the whole evening). A canned pasta sauce was simply added to the İskender steak 😟😟😟😟 Lokum was not Lokum. The salad was delicious. We'll probably never know if things are different in the store on other days. Traveling an extra 3 hours was a small lesson.
