XXXL Restaurant Dreieich in Dreieich

Our experience yesterday unfortunately aligns with the negative reviews regarding service and opening hours. According to the website, the restaurant should be open significantly later than we actually found. We arrived yesterday at 5:00 PM, and the restaurant was supposed to be open until 5:30 PM – the menu boards were still displayed in front of the furniture store – but in reality, the restaurant had already closed (according to the employee, it closes at 4:30 PM). Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident, and it has happened to us several times already! What a shame; this was definitely our last attempt.

I ate a piece of toast that was simply awful for €5. No butter, carelessly arranged on the plate – simply unappetizing. Never again.

We thought we'd give XXL Lutz in Dreieich another try. We arrived shortly after 4:00 PM and were told the kitchen had been closed for 10 minutes because something was broken. That seems to be their standard excuse, and that was the last time for us. A disappointment every time.

Since I was nearby, I visited the restaurant at lunchtime. It was busy, but I quickly found a free table. The staff was very friendly and quick with my order. The food was really good. Everything was perfect!

5 stars – Highly recommended! I ate at the restaurant of the XXL furniture store in Dreieich and ordered the rump steak – and what can I say: I was thrilled! The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. I've never had better sweet potato fries. The service was also excellent – ​​attentive, extremely friendly, and fast, which is very rare these days. I never expected to be able to eat so well in a furniture store! If you're hungry after shopping, you should definitely take a break here. I'll definitely be back!

We planned to sit down at the restaurant at 4:21 p.m. to have coffee. As the sign shows, the restaurant is open until 5:00 p.m. First the gentleman said that the restaurant was already closed, then when he heard that we just wanted to drink coffee, he said it would still be possible. Then he came back and explained to us that they had already closed completely. When I pointed out the opening times to him, he said there was something broken and that's why they had to close earlier. Before that, the excuse was that the coffee machine was already clean. When he saw that I wanted to write a Google review, everything suddenly went wrong and he came up with a new excuse. Unfortunately, I lost the desire for a coffee and was then able to listen to what strange people there are. Absolutely not a child-friendly approach. In a furniture store where I usually spend several thousand euros, I expect a somewhat more accommodating approach here.

Was there for breakfast with a friend today. We were only able to order after we made ourselves known several times. Coffee and orange juice came quite quickly. We had to wait 50 minutes for our breakfast. When we asked where our breakfast would be. The waitress answers loudly (a woman with blonde hair tied in a braid) across half the restaurant, they can see what needs to be done here. Then it finally came cold fried eggs. The rest was okay. Other guests who arrived after us got their breakfast quicker. We're definitely not coming back for the time being

the bread tastes old and stuffy... the meat is a poorly seasoned chicken skewer... the sauce was very bland... The vegetables were also very mushy... For a "big" kebab it was quite small... The fun cost €8.50... The worst kebab I've ever eaten!!!

We were here for lunch on Friday at 1pm. There were a few tables available and we were able to order quickly. The tables were a bit sticky. We each ordered the chicken schnitzel with fries. With the coupon it only cost €5. After about 15 minutes the food came to the table. The schnitzel was tasty and very large. The fries were simple and a bit soft. The service could have been friendlier. Overall, we enjoyed it and the price was very good.

Worst breakfast in a long time. After waiting a whopping hour for our breakfast, we received our plates, which apparently hadn't been cooled for at least an hour. The cheese was sweaty, as was the salami, so much so that the edges were already bulging. You really have to think about your health. We'll never come here again.

It is clean restaurant, and food quality is good but got ready soooo late and additionally I should say as soon as you finished your order then taking their attention for some request is either ignored or they come too late! But event though the behaviour is friendly.

I've never had such a lousy breakfast in my entire life. Bone-hard multigrain rolls (they were from the day before!! I'm an expert, hence this assessment) 1 small packet of butter for 2 rolls 1 plastic packet of jam 1 small slice of cucumber 1 small cocktail tomato carelessly thrown onto the plate. After we complained about dry rolls, there were actually FRESH rolls. We also do that extra!!!!!! have yet to be calculated. Coffee tasted like burnt beans. All in all it was just blah. Never, never again

Two of us were in the restaurant for lunch in the early afternoon. We ordered the pork schnitzel Jäger style and the premium chicken schnitzel. Each with fries. The meat quality was poor and tough. The fries were clearly pre-fried and then reheated. The sauce wasn't that tasty, the only positive aspect was the mushrooms, which seemed "fresh". Soft drinks were available for drinking. 0.5 liters were ordered and the drinks were served with a capacity well below the mark. The server, Mr. M., was informed of the criticism and took it on board. Whether anything will change in the future remains to be seen, but it is desirable. When paying, the waitress at least took the drinks off the bill, which is a nice way of making up for it, but it doesn't make up for the diarrhea that occurred shortly afterwards. After all, always trying.

I was very hungry, I wanted to eat, but the table was so dirty that God knows the price is unbelievable, like in the starred restaurants mentioned.

Spatious table, great money value, good food, and good hospitality.

We had breakfast in the restaurant several times and you always had to wait at least 20 minutes before you could even order. Today was particularly bad. Then the tables in our row are served and we are ignored. You don't have to accept that. Then just go somewhere else!

We came into the restaurant and some of the dirty dishes from breakfast were on the table. We sat here at 1:30pm. We had to wait more than an hour for the food. We even had to wait longer for the drinks. The waitress who served us was very unfriendly and seemed unmotivated in her work. Not recommended!

Las salchichas blancas nos las sirvieron en sopa, el brettzel del día anterior, recalentado y duro como una piedra. Mi plato de pescados combinados con verduras al vapor y arroz, totalmente lleno de aceite. Después de comerme la mitad parecía que llevaba una piedra en la barriga. Ya habíamos comido anteriormente varias veces allí y tanto la comida como el servicio eran buenos, pero por alguna razón se ha empeorado notablemente.

Lustlos und desinteressiert Personal im Service. Ewige Wartezeit. 3 Servicekräfte mit sich selbst beschäftigt. Leider nichts gegessen und wieder gegangen.

Während der Mittagszeit sind hier nur 2 Kellner/innen tätig. Personalmangel für die Größe des Restaurant auf jedenfall ein Thema. Man wird hier als Gast einfach übersehen. Kein Wunder wenn das Lokal den Kunden um diesen Zeitraum nur 2 Personen zur Verfügung stellt, keiner hinter der Thekee steht um zu unterstützen. Sehr schade für den Kunden und traurig für das Personal was sich hier einen abhetzen muss um den Kunden zufrieden zustellen.

Viel zu langsamer Service. Die Mitarbeiter sind unkoordiniert. Rufen sich gegenseitig über den Kunden hinweg Anweisungen ("Wer bekommt den Kaffee?"). Wir mussten EINE STUNDE auf das sehr einfache Frühstück warten. Das positive: dadurch, dass so viel los war hat unser Kellner uns weniger berechnet.

Wir waren am 27.02.2023 gegen 13 Uhr im Restaurant. Alles Tische waren belegt, d.h. auch mit schmutzigen Geschirr. Wir sind dann in den hinteren Bereich wo mit uns zwei weitere Paare und eine Familie saßen. Nach einer Weile des Wartens wurde der Bereich von einem Kellner wortlos mit einem Absperrband geschlossen. Man ließ uns einfach sitzen. Bei allem Verständnis für Personalmangel oder Überforderung des Servicepersonals grenzte das Verhalten an eine Frechheit. Es hätte ein paar weniger Sätze bedurft um die Situation zu entschärfen.

They take a break at 12pm until 12:30pm, exactly when they should be working and serving customers. There are 4 families with small kids waiting to be served because kids are starving. We are in Germany not in Spain, here lunch is at 12!

Wir waren gegen 13:00 im Restaurant. Im vorderen Bereich waren alle freien Tische nicht abgeräumt und gesäubert. Deshalb sind wir mit insgesamt 9 Gästen in den hinteren Bereich. Da saßen wir ca 20 min ohne daß jemand eine Bestellung aufgenommen hat. Die Krönung war dann die Absperrung mit einem Band ohne uns zu sagen das der Bereich geschlossen wird. Wir sind nach ca 10 min wieder nach vorne gegangen und da immer noch keine gesäuberten Tische vorhanden waren, gegangen

Open tot 18:00 uur staat bij de openingstijden. Kom je er om 16:00 uur aan, staat er doodleuk een bordje dat ze het restaurant om 15:00 uur al gesloten hadden.

Wir haben selten so ein gutes schnitzel gegessen. Ein Lob an die Küche, denn da wird noch mit Butterschmalz ausgebacken. Für den Preis eh ein Top Preis. Ich kann auch die Saucen empfehlen und den Beilagensalat. Auch ein großes Lob an den Service. Sehr gut 👍 ich kann es empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder

Mit gefällt es hier sehr gut. Immer gutes Essen für faire Preise.

Bin dort Stammkunden finde immer was und wenn ich eine Reklamation wird immer zu meiner Zufriedenheit gelöst auch ein Umtausch von Möbel sehr gut Einstellung

Für ein Restaurant in einem Möbelhaus finde ich es super. Meist nette und freundliche Bedienung. Leckeres Essen. Gute Portionen und der Preis stimmt auch. Es gibt aber auch Personen denen kann man nebenbei die Schuhe besolen. Trotzdem 5*

Wir waren vor kurzem dort und es hat alles super geschmeckt die qualität ist sehr gut aber die Bedingung ist einfach an uns vorbei gelaufen und danach auch nicht wieder gekommen deswegen mussten wir nach vorne bescheid sagen
