Food without atmosphere is nothing unless the staff's social skills improve or change! Why on earth should guests feel underestimated by the staff? No matter how clever they pretend to be, it's obvious! Kudos to the manager, but others are already unsure, especially a young Asian boy with long hair and a few tattoos! The way he spoke and stared at me seemed inappropriate! It was a challenge or something! What kind of uncertainty is this? Do you even know me? Incredible! A little hint: you don't have to approach strangers you don't like! Nothing to prove

I can't recommend the food: it was cold, the portions were small and there was no seafood worth recommending. In addition, drinks had to be ordered individually. The price-performance ratio is far too high.

I had dinner there today with my husband for our wedding anniversary. It was quite ok. a lot of choice to eat there. You can also take people who don't like Chinese food with you as there is also a small selection. Sushi was very tasty I have to say. There was also a large selection of desserts. Some dishes weren't really warm. On the whole it was ok but today we ate a reduced price for around €25 instead of I think €28. Black weeks. Price performance too expensive in my opinion. We won't be regular guests there, so we'd rather go back to our regular Chinese where it costs 16 euros and there's a lot to choose from. It was nice there but in our opinion not worth a second visit. But everyone should have their own experiences.

We visited with family on Sunday. Service and staff as always very friendly. Everything is also going well with to good go. There was always enough food available.

The buffet is often emptied quickly and it often takes a long time to refill it. Grill takes at least 20 minutes. Vegetables almost raw, little choice for vegetarians. In the yellow curry with chicken and vegetables, for example It's almost just sauce, you have to look for ingredients. Toilets for men and women are a disaster!!!!!! Dirty!!!! Dessert buffet is great, I also really enjoyed the salmon. There are discounts for children, young people and seniors, which I also think is great. For me, however, the price performance wasn't right.

There really are better all you can eat restaurants. The selection is manageable, but just ok. Sushi is bad, but dessert is good. So you really can't get more than three stars!

I don't even know how to start. The welcome was nice and friendly The food wasn't tasty, everything was overcooked In the beef with onions there were only huge onions - the meat was probably forgotten. The finished buffet gave the impression of convenience products. The Mongolian buffet wasn't good either. The products were all frozen. The food came to the table with lots of roasted aromas. The shells were small pieces of coal. The cleanliness wasn't great either. Most of the time the plates weren't there 😕 when they were there, they were hot and, which I found really disgusting, sometimes dirty. I took a plate and under the plate everything was still full of mayonnaise. There were leftover food on the plate. The fact that the plates were hot, I think because they had just come from the industrial dishwasher, wasn't great if you wanted to go with the desserts. The ice was then gone. Speaking of ice cream, the ice cream was eventually empty except for the lemon, but it wasn't refilled even though the shop was still open for 2 hours. The landing doesn't live from the ambience from the food. The service was friendly but slow - sometimes you had to wait 30 minutes or longer for your drinks. My conclusion once and never again

The Xiao restaurants belong to a chain, so the modern, beautiful furnishing style is similar across the locations. The large buffet is easily accessible. We were there in the evening during the week and there wasn't much going on. Understandably, the buffet was a little less stocked than on busy days. Unfortunately, the focus of the buffet was on the salads and desserts, as the selection was really huge. To my real disappointment, there were some dirty plates waiting for the guests and there were no cake forks at the dessert buffet. When asked, they said they just needed to be rinsed. The service was friendly, but she liked that the route to her was the same as hers to us. We probably had a wasted day.

I have already visited the restaurant twice and can rate the ambience as excellent. The menu is extensive, is continually replenished and is freshly prepared. There are also various options for vegetarians to choose from. The service was very satisfactory. A young man named Xeng repeatedly inquired about our well-being and cleared the empty plates from our table. We made a reservation on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Around 7:00 p.m. the restaurant became very crowded. Therefore, I recommend making reservations in advance on weekends. The toilets were one floor above. The disabled toilet was on the ground floor. All in all we were very satisfied. I would like to raise two points of criticism: 1. The use of crushed ice in drinks. Crushed ice can be very dangerous in drinks for small children. It's acceptable for cocktails, but for regular drinks, using regular ice cubes would make more sense. 2. The selection of sauces at the buffet was not satisfactory in terms of savory options, especially the sweet and sour sauce. An improvement in the variety of sauces would be desirable to meet the needs of all guests.

The store is very large and busy, but the buffet is refilled immediately if something runs out. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is plentiful and fresh.

This is the third time we've eaten there and every time we've been completely impressed. The staff is friendly, the food is always fresh and replenished in large quantities from the kitchen. Will be there again in November, it will be a pleasure

Most of the food was delicious, unfortunately I apparently got food poisoning from one of the dishes. It's a shame and unfortunately also really expensive.

A great atmosphere for an all you can eat. The dishes were presented appetizingly and very tasty. Not a canteen level like in many all you can eat restaurants. We had a cheerful and very arranged waiter. All in all, highly recommended.

Been here for the first time and was completely impressed! Never had such delicious Asian cuisine. Everything tastes natural and no overly seasoned dishes. Service is simply top, here you are served by people and not by a robot. We'll definitely come back.

No fun, this is such a cool place, the staff is very, very nice, the food is SAT and is very good and fresh, the atmosphere and style is clean and cool. Best all you can eat restaurant in Germany. There are also cool things to eat like deer meat and kangaroo meat. The cooks are very good and very nice.

We had lunch at Xiao's today. The food was very tasty and the selection was really good. The green passion fruit iced tea was wonderful! Unfortunately, I think it's a shame that some employees were harshly criticized in front of customers, although the division of work was very unbalanced. (one runs, the others watch). Still worth a recommendation.

Unfortunately, over 50% of the food was only lukewarm to cold. Spring rolls cold and with little filling. French fries and sweet potato fries are sticky and unsalted. Orange turkey tasted like pure lemon etc. Unfortunately had a bad day.

After a hungry day at the trade fair, we had dinner here with a friend. The food, as well as the Mongolian grill, was okay. But actually pretty standard. Unfortunately, I don't really see the surcharge for the evening buffet as being justified. Otherwise, a solid offering, just like you would imagine an all-you-can-eat buffet to be.

Some of the food is cold. Having food prepared fresh takes far too long. It's very crowded so there isn't any food available. One disc is broken. I would have expected more for the price!

Our stay was wonderful! The food is simply delicious. A wide selection of fresh foods are beautifully offered: starters, fish, sushi, all types of meat, vegetables and side dishes - whatever you could wish for. The service is great. The buffet is constantly cleaned. The highlight at the end is the dessert buffet... Ice cream, fruit, chocolate fountains and pancakes 🫠 Coronation: browniiiiies. Of course you pay around €30 per person, but it's definitely worth it!

Unfortunately, our visit to Xiao in Essen today was not very pleasant. The food was actually quite good, but there were far too few staff there. The store was normally full but the food was constantly running out. The shrimp weren't refilled quickly enough, the ice cream wasn't, the beef wasn't. The pankake machine was empty for a long time, so very, very poorly organized. Price/performance ratio was absolutely not right. Unfortunately that was our last visit there.

This really has absolutely nothing to do with Asian cuisine, dear people. My friend works in a Chinese company and they cook Chinese food and here at XIAO has nothing to do with it. But of course: nowadays people want cheap and nothing more. No offense intended, but the people who say that's good, you have to laugh. But the main thing is cheap. But these days you can make a lot of money doing that sort of thing. Since you've never eaten properly or the bar is set at McDonald's. I'm serious. In Essen (China Bro's, there is an authentic soup buffet and yes, that's authentic because the products come from the Asian shop and are very more expensive when shopping or in Düsseldorf. Here they really use the cheap food. Weird curry that is never made like that .Asians don't use curry paste like we do. Please just go to Düsseldorf and eat real Asian food and not something like that.

Very nice atmosphere. Food at the buffet was delicious. Unfortunately, our food from the grill was mixed up, i.e. the wrong dish was delivered. After 3 attempts we gave up. Unfortunately we had to pay for the whole meal even though we didn't receive anything from the grill. But the biggest shame was that we were charged an additional 50 cents for the glass straw. Conclusion never again!!

Like other restaurants in this chain, the rooms are huge and have something like a train station lobby. The buffet is very rich and the food tastes very good. The price is in the usual range for an Asian buffet.

The service is first class, very attentive and friendly. The ambience was very successful for such a large restaurant. You can order your own drinks using a QR code, the food is really tasty and the selection at the buffet is great. We come regularly and are always satisfied. There is a large parking lot.

Compared to other restaurants of this type, e.g. Asia Paradise, Friedrich-Lueg-Straße 2-8, 44867 Bochum, the price per person in XYAO is higher, the selection of food is much smaller, and the drinks are very expensive. After leaving this review on Google, I was accused by XYAO representatives of leaving a false review because I was never a customer of theirs and after proving that I was a customer of XYAO deleted the original review on the grounds that I had slandered it without providing any evidence. I have never experienced such a bad attitude towards their customers in any restaurant.

Saturday night, absolutely terrible acoustics. The staff are very nice, but that's about it. The food wasn't particularly excellent, absolutely standard food, not particularly warm and the quality of the meat wasn't good. The chocolate fountain stopped running after 8 p.m. Been there once and never go back again. The price of €29 is not justified.

Were here for the first time and I have to say we were totally thrilled!! The experience buffet lives up to its name. There are such great dishes to choose from. Sushi and salad buffet. Everything is appetizingly prepared. The dessert buffet with 2 chocolate fountains is also an absolute highlight!! The ambience is upscale and cozy with velvet chairs and great outdoor lounges. The staff is friendly and hardworking. We'll definitely be back. If you like Asian food like we do, you will feel very comfortable here!!
