Very nice restaurant with delicious food and fantastic lake views. Absolutely recommended. Addition 2024: Unfortunately it has now become very expensive for a club location. In my opinion, the portions are also smaller than before. What a shame!

We used to like to stop by the WSV. We've been going there for a while now and are really shocked at the prices. Sure, everything has become more expensive, but not being able to eat for a lot of money is very frustrating. We won't go there anymore. Beautiful view, great service - but that's out of proportion.

The staff is very friendly and has been part of the workforce there for a long time. However, the pricing is totally exorbitant. I won't come back again. For me, paying over €50 (over fifty euros) for a starter, rump steak and a drink is out of proportion. It's wonderful to sit outside. Wish you all the best and good business with enough well-heeled guests!

Unfortunately far too expensive. Food is good and the beer garden is nice, but you just can't pay more!! You shouldn't forget that it's still a club bar and the prices are way too high for that.

We were there today too, the location is nice, great view of the lake but the prices for Ludwigshafen am Weiher are extreme. I think the schnitzel was around €29, pasta with chanterelle sauce was around €20, coke was 5.10 and beer was 5.40. We only drank beer and skipped food. Nevertheless, all the best and much success for the restaurant

Goodbye WSV, prices hurt. It doesn't help, the prices are way too high. Anyone who charges €15.90 for grilled sheep's cheese, €26.90 for tagliatelle with chanterelles and €5.40 for tagliatelle with salmon cubes, each without salad, and €5.40 for 0.5 liters of pilsner, is trying to get rich quick . We're not taking part in it. There isn't even a coffee or Slivowitz to say goodbye. That was despite the undoubtedly good quality. Too bad.

So we were here on holiday and were very annoyed by the prices being way too expensive, the fries were also absolute rubbish, just a year ago (on our last holiday) it was cheaper and better here!

We were cycling and saw this restaurant, which looked inconspicuous from the outside, and were very surprised by the ambience of the friendly and nice service. The food was very good. Like everything there, the toilets were very clean. If we come by again by bike we will definitely stop by again.

Beautiful surroundings, you sit right by the water. The food is okay, but I have never seen such an extreme increase in prices in any other restaurant. That's why I won't eat there anymore.

As you can read in the reviews, it is too expensive simply because the price-performance ratio is not right. Portions too small, our steak was completely overcooked, dry and very tough, unfortunately it was returned. Replacing the insert, although equivalent, will be charged an additional 5 euros. Nowadays no restaurant normally allows this. The choice of food is very small, our four companions also rate the food as average like in any other restaurant. The target group here is clearly the older, well-heeled audience; with this offer, the younger generation will not recommend the restaurant. At 9 p.m. the preparations for the closing of business at 10 p.m. cannot be overlooked. We don't go to restaurants just to enjoy the view of the lake and to cover a relatively long distance. The service is friendly, the weak point is the kitchen, the limited and overly expensive food selection and the lack of events for all generations.

Very tasty there, but the prices are a bit too expensive for me to eat there more often. But great location, the view of the lake is very nice. Nice, courteous service. But when there's a lot going on, you have to be patient. Reservations would be recommended.

I can agree with Bill Y. The prices are extreme and really not justified for a restaurant. We had recently ordered 2 dishes and asked if we could have fried potatoes instead of the boiled potatoes. No problem…until the bill came. The dish as such cost an impressive €29.90 and simply replacing the boiled potato with fried potatoes was charged extra at €5 per person. That really annoyed us, even though the dish was good and the staff were nice, but that's just not possible. Result: we'll eat somewhere else in the future, which is a shame.

We spontaneously went to this restaurant and I have to say it is very tasty and the staff are super friendly, they also have fun with my daughter. Here the customer is king 😊 I will come here more often :)

Tiny portions at exorbitant prices. Ambience borderline. Musty smell, everything outside was cordoned off and only “allowed” for club members. You will be insulted in the parking lot and threatened that you will be towed away if you do not come to the restaurant. Actually we should have gone straight back.

Nice large restaurant with outdoor and indoor spaces. Good assorted asparagus menu. Small menu but completely sufficient. Food is ok, nothing special. When the wind comes from the water you can enjoy the smell of the stagnant brackish water of the ponds 😉

We spontaneously went to this restaurant today. Great atmosphere and a beautiful view of the pond. We were served quickly and friendly. But the prices are really exorbitant. I travel a lot in Mannheim and I'm happy to pay more for good food, but with all my love, the price-performance ratio at the WSV restaurant isn't right...

In my opinion, the prices are okay. Wir waren gestern dort. Sehr netter Service, von außen unauffällig, aber innen toll, viele Tische draußen mit Blick auf den See. Leckeres Essen, keine langen Wartezeiten. Meiner Meinung nach sind die Preise in Ordnung.

The parking lot is often full (especially when the weather is nice), so you have to walk a little further. It's especially wonderful to sit outside right by the water. The food is very tasty, only more vegetarian options would enrich the menu.

Price performance ratio is not right. I can understand it when it comes to a star restaurant, but we're talking about a restaurant. The view is of no use either

Good but in my opinion now too expensive for what is offered. Other restaurants also attract but not to this extent and quality. Despite all understanding of the price increase. E.g. 10 pepperoni, 1 slice of dry bread, ready-made hollondaise for €12. Schnitzel (here I think frozen goods, not freshly made) and fries salad with ready-made sauce(?) 22€. But I would like to be proven wrong. But that's how it seems.

I visited the WSV restaurant for the first time shortly after Christmas. An experiment with a positive and extremely satisfying outcome. The need for a quiet and comfortable place in the restaurant was addressed when making the reservation and we even asked again whether the place was okay. The staff was very courteous, friendly and attentive throughout the evening and had a great view of all the tables in the restaurant. I can only rave about the food. A beautifully presented side salad with an excellent taste. The breaded Jägerschnitzel was one of the best schnitzels I have ever eaten and the taste was hard to beat. The portions were also very generous and designed for a person with a good appetite. The delicious food was also accompanied by a great ambience on a quiet lake and the beer was served in a super chilled clay mug. Extremely happy and just reserved again - I'll be happy to come back!

The food was always good, but the price-performance ratio was no longer right at all. 27 Eus for two turkey breasts with 5 (!) frozen croquettes and a bit of broccoli and cauliflower are simply too much. If you swap the side dish for fried potatoes, you'll have to pay an additional 4.90. Unfortunately, today was the last time for me.

Gutes Essen mit sehr schönem Ambiente direkt am See . Die Anfahrt ist sehr nicht gut eventuell besser Ausschilderung und Parkplätze vor Ort sind auch sehr wenig .

Die Sauberkeit und Hygiene im Restaurant sind vorbildlich. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl und gut aufgehoben.

Der WSV ist selbst bei Vielen Ludwigshafener nicht bekannt, weil durch die leicht versteckte Lage ist der WSV eher unscheinbar. Selbst von außen erkennt man diese Perle die sich im Inneren versteckt nicht. Ein Glas Wintergarten mit Blick auf den Weiher, innen schnuckelig modern und mediterran eingerichtet, bietet der WSV hervorragende Cuisine. Ruhige Lage , genug Parkplätze, tolles Ambiente, netter freundlicher Service, wohlfühl Atmosphäre und sehr gutes Essen. Die Preise sind gerechtfertigt wenn auch nicht günstig, aber auch nicht teuer , leicht gehoben was das leckere Essen dann wieder ausbügelt und rechtfertigt. Der WSV ist eigentlich ein Muss für alle die gut essen gehen wollen.

Essen - NoGo: Das Essen an sich war gut. Ein absolutes NoGo sind aber die zwei Haare, die ich darin fand - Inakzeptabel! Service - Licht & Schatten: Eine Bedienung war freundlich, die andere hingegen sehr ungeeignet für den Job. Ambiente: Der zweite Punkt führt auch hier zum Abzug. Zusätzlich waren die Mückenschwärme doch ziemlich nervig. Ansonsten eine schöne Gegend am Weiher. Fazit: Dafür nur 2 Sterne von mir, einen weiteren Besuch wird es nicht geben. Viel Erfolg bei der Verbesserung.

Schönes Lokal , Außenanlage super , Essen war gut

Immer wieder schön dort. Familiäre Atmosphäre und gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Im Biergarten und im Wintergarten Blick auf den Willersinnweiher.

Speisen und Getränke sind übertrieben teuer und eine sehr lange Wartezeit( z.B.Fetakaese gegrillt, Bauernsalat) mussten wir eine dreiviertel Stunde warten.

Überragend ist das Essen. Ambiente und Personalist auch absolut top. Wir gehen gern dort hin:)

Ein äußerst leckeres Rumpsteak vom Grill in Verbindung mit dem genialen Blick auf den Willersinnweiher und einer freundlichen Bedienung ist seinen Preis immer wert.

Die Gerichte sind teuer und die Portionen klein. Dabei wird man von einem muffigen Kellner bedient, der wie ein kroatischer Ringkämpfer auftritt. Da gehe ich nicht mehr hin.

Das Essen ist so lala. Der Fisch wirkt wie TK- Ware. Hab nur gekostet und war glücklich nichts bestellt zuhaben! Der Service war aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Location ist schön, wie immer. Allerdings haben sich die Preise für das Essen enorm erhöht. Z.B. ein Salat mit Fleisch-Beilage über 20€. Ist wohl nur noch was um ein Bier trinken zu gehen.

Waren früher recht oft hier, aber mittlerweile stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht mehr. Werden nicht mehr hingehen. Wurstsalat mit Bratkartoffeln 19,30 €, Kinderportion Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce 9,90 €, Salatteller um die 20 €. Das ist nicht mehr verhältnismäßig, selbst wenn man das tolle Ambiente einrechnet. Dafür ist es geschmacklich nicht herausragend genug. Qualität ist gut, aber eben nichts Besonderes. Service war auch eher mittelmäßig. Mussten zweimal etwas erneut ordern, das vergessen wurde.
