Awfully bad kebab for only €8.50

I ate there and had the feeling that the meat was bad, so I can't recommend it. Bad service, bad products, terrible value for money.

This is the best kebab in Stuttgart so far! Fresh and sliced ​​meat! But unfortunately, they don't put much meat in it for the €9 kebab price!

A recipe for Diarrhea!! The worst döner I have ever eaten in Germany or Turkey! Usually when you order a döner, they cut it from the turning meat and put it in your sandwich while it’s still hot but not these guys! The meat was already cut god knows how long ago and the flame was turned off in the middle of the day! As soon as I noticed that I knew no one eats here but it was already too late and I had paid! So they made the sandwich with cold meat and then warmed it up in a press heater but when I took the first bite it was still cold inside and burning outside! So save your money and save yourself from a three day diarrhea and don’t touch their döner with a 3m long pole!!

I visited this restaurant on Saturday and ordered a doner kebab. Unfortunately, I noticed that they used old minced meat instead of fresh, right in front of me. I had the feeling they thought I wouldn't notice, or that I was under the influence of alcohol like some other customers. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

First-class Yaprak beef doner in downtown Stuttgart. Excellent value for money, and generous portions. There's also a terrace for outdoor seating.

The lentil soup is absolutely delicious! The staff is friendly. It's not particularly cozy. A bowl of soup now costs €7, which is a hefty price! The new bowls also look smaller than the old ones.

I'm very disappointed. Your kebab was one of the best in town for me. I thought about writing this for a long time, but it's just the truth: The food inspection wasn't that good. There was dried-out meat and baking residue in the oven. And green filth on the ayran dispenser! That's not a bad opinion; it was an official inspection, and the hygiene standards are simply too low. People are standing there all day and NO ONE even wipes the thing down? Please stop selling food or clean it up.

Unfortunately, on my first visit to the kebab shop, the meat was pre-cut and had just been warmed up on the grill, making it dry and not fresh. Two kebabs and two Cokes for €30 is expensive.

Don't be fooled by the overall rating; you're probably buying it. Anyone who comes here is coming with the wrong expectations. The bread, the meat, the salad, etc., all taste stale. I wouldn't recommend eating here if you want something good; it doesn't taste anything more than okay. And it doesn't look particularly hygienic either.

The volcano doner with the cheese sauce was something different. It went really well together. The meat was really good. I liked the overall concept. It was a really solid doner. The homemade ayran wasn't really my cup of tea, though; maybe I'm too used to the industrial ones. It was too watery and not salty enough for me.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. It's above average, even by Stuttgart standards. Unfortunately, the yufka was also poorly filled, especially for that price. It tasted almost entirely like dough, and the meat also tasted burnt. We then paid an extra €1 to try the cheese sauce. The standard yogurt sauce was omitted, which unfortunately made everything taste very dry. Unfortunately, you couldn't taste the "cheese sauce" at all... Card payments are not accepted. Unfortunately, it's not worth €11 for us.

Ayran is freshly made, a definite positive difference. And for pide with yogurt dip and fresh ayran, €13.50 is absolutely good value for the quality.

A good "OK," nothing more. Prices too high for what's offered. The meat at Dürum was good, but I didn't like that the already cut meat was re-fried on a hot plate—it doesn't give the impression of being fresh. The taste was okay, though. I wouldn't go there again because of the surrounding snack bar selection. 4.7 stars? ...I had much higher expectations.

It was OK. A slightly different kind of kebab. Long bread. I liked it. But it's expensive, and there isn't much meat in it. Just salad, and a bit of meat on top.

I stopped by because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, my durum kebab wasn't good; the meat had tough pieces of fat, and the durum was like a cold wrap. Based on this experience, I won't be eating at Wok again.

We went there for dinner today and ordered two Iskender, a falafel plate, and a doner kebab. The falafel was good, and the doner kebab was also okay. Unfortunately, the meat in the Iskender was inedible on both plates – tough, like chewing gum, and tasteless. A shame. Therefore, we can't understand the 4.7 rating.

On the internet it says kebab, we came, there is only döner. Döner is very bad, I did not like the meat at all. We also got lahmacun. Lahmacun was ready-cooked, he took it out of the fridge, heated it in the toaster and gave it without adding anything. Of course, I don't need to say it was tasteless. We came because it was in the center of Stuttgart and had high scores, but I would say you should not come.

The doner kebab plate with salad and fries was very tasty. It came with an ayran. €20 is definitely too expensive. The wobbly table outside has been very annoying for a long time.

They don't have good food for vegetarians

Had a yufka with kebab meat here. Meat is good but it was reheated quite a bit on the cooking surface. There was little sauce, so I can't judge the taste. Unfortunately, yufkafladen was very dry and therefore quite tasteless. Not a taste experience, but it was enough to fill you up. As with other reviews, World of Kebab also reported my review as defamation and had it blocked.

4.7? So I had Iskender today and honestly, it's clean but the worst Iskender I've ever eaten. The bread cubes are completely softened. The sauce is cooked, tasty but the meat is better! Price and portion is ok in 2025, quality too, but honestly: that's not a 4.7. In Japan that would be a maximum of 2.

It is absolutely dubious for a shop like World of Kebap in Stuttgart to specifically delete 1-star reviews - especially when it comes to deficiencies in hygiene. The taste of the kebab was disappointing, and the wet wipes provided were dirty - which is exactly what should be a sign of cleanliness. Instead of accepting criticism and making things better, people apparently prefer to suppress the truth. This is not only embarrassing, but also dangerous if other guests can no longer see legitimate warnings.

1 star Way too expensive for what you get. I’ve had much better Döner for half the price. Portion was small, taste was average at best, and honestly, I left still hungry. Definitely not worth the hype or the money. Not coming back.

The ambience promises more than the kebab can ultimately deliver. Worse than any standard kebab in the village. Absolutely overpriced for €8.50. It's better to get something from Mäces around the corner and enjoy the ambience here.

The staff was really nice but the food wasn't good. We had a veggie kebab and veggie dürüm for €7 or €8. Given the price, I would have somehow expected that there would be something else besides salad, such as falafel or vegetables, but there wasn't. I went to the counter a second time for sauce because the kebab was really dry, maybe the sauce was just at the bottom, I don't know. The dürüm had a bit more sauce, but it wasn't warmed/grilled either, so the dough was quite dry and cold and unfortunately not that tasty. So all in all disappointing, especially for the price. Not again! The kebab was well filled with meat, but the red and white cabbage was only served with the tip of a tong (then you can leave it out!). I also forgot the sauce; after I pointed it out, a small blob was put on the kebab. After a few bites the kebab was dry due to the lack of sauce. I paid €13.50 for a falafel box without sauce... there were fries, a few falafels and salad (not even with any dressing) in it... when I asked about the vegan menemen, they said there was egg in it and when I said that it wasn't vegan and what was in it as an alternative, they couldn't answer me... I was already disappointed

The vegetarian Dürüm kebab was deliciously filled and also great in size. Even though it lay briefly between the heating plates (wrapped in aluminum foil), it was still very cold. 😕

Unfortunately the worst kebab experience in 30 years! The three of us ate there yesterday around 12 o'clock at night and were extremely disappointed. The bread looked nothing like the Instagram pictures or the displays in the store. Instead of a rectangular loaf we got a tiny, round loaf that doesn't live up to the name “doner kebab”. The meat was cut raw, fried on a platter and then just thrown in - a taste disaster! It felt like there wasn't even 100 grams of meat in it, plus hardly any salad and completely watery, tasteless sauces. Selling such a puny kebab for €8.50 is simply disrespectful. This was more of a bad taco than a kebab. We feel ripped off and will definitely never eat here again. Once and never again!

Don't do Menemen at 12 anymore, it used to always work, the good red sauce is no longer there, meat is tough and gristly, cashiers are rude, slow and very inexperienced. Not recommended – disappointing! We ate in this restaurant on February 8th, 2025. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly, and the food has always been tasty. But this time it was an absolute disaster! We had our little dog with us and gave him some meat from our meal. Unfortunately, both my girlfriend and I had severe stomach problems afterwards - as did our dog! We also found hair in the food, which is absolutely unhygienic. I used to enjoy coming here, but after this experience I will definitely never come back. It's a shame that the quality has deteriorated so much!

Brother, that wasn't a kebab, it was a lettuce wrap with meat decoration. 90% salad, 10% meat – if you can even call it meat. The thing was as greasy as if it had been bathed in oil, and the meat chewed like chewing gum. If I only wanted salad, I would have gone for the rabbit, wallah. Never again!
