Food great, all three young waiters are nice and attentive 👍👍! Had edamame as a starter and origogi with glass noodles and bibimbab with beef as a main course. We had a seat by the window on the upper floor, the only problem for us was that it quickly became noisy as all the tables were occupied and it was therefore difficult for us to have a conversation. Still recommended in principle.

A must visit if your are in and around Erfurt, period. Mazing self made kimchi, all the food is neatly presented and are of the highest quality. The staff, especially the owners Jörn and Nami are amazing. You will instantly feel welcome and never alone. Your order is taken fast and the food comes in no time. For this price the restaurant is unbeatable. Perfect 10/10

We were standing in front of the restaurant and accidentally sat on the chairs in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the owner told us to get up in a rude tone. Even an older woman who had trouble standing was not allowed to sit down. I wouldn't feel comfortable in this restaurant.

We were there with 10 people (family) in the afternoon, great service, employee “Peter” offered us small tarts to go with our coffee, told us about the restaurant, etc… Went back the next day. Loving restaurant, modern, well-kept and clean. The staff is really nice and always up for fun. No McDonald's or kebab prices, but very good value for money. Old summer sunset with a view of Erfurt Cathedral was beautiful. Food was very tasty and fresh. Always happy ❤️

It was the perfect Korean food I had in Germany! I especially enjoyed the bibimbap, and the pork was so spicy that it was a taste that is difficult to taste in Europe 😍😋 I could feel through the cooking that the owner takes pride in his cooking. I enjoyed a very delicious meal 🩷

I think it would do really well if you let the owner open it in Korea. It tastes better than most restaurants in Seoul! I ordered bibimbap and was impressed (they made their own red pepper paste, and the vegetables were real Korean bibimbap vegetables, not European vegetables!) It was the most delicious thing I had in Europe. They gave me beef soup as a service, and it was so delicious that I ate it next time. I'll eat that when I go. I'll see you again :)

We had dinner in this wonderful restaurant today. We received a very friendly welcome and soon had our food in front of us. Now we could see that the great scent that surrounded us the whole time promised nothing wrong. The food was extremely tasty and plentiful, my daughter didn't quite finish her portion "for a small hunger", which she regrets very much. Price and performance are in good harmony here, if anything it is almost too cheap. Thank you very much.

Friendly service and freshly prepared food.

I would like to start with the positive: If you like Korean cuisine AND eat meat, you will like this food. The waiter who took over our table for dessert was very nice and in a good mood - which couldn't be said of the first waiter (owner?). Now that big BUT! First of all, about the table: If I reserve in advance, I expect that the flowers on the table are still fresh, the table runners are clean, the cutlery is already in place and the candles are lit. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. Furthermore, I personally cannot make a clear recommendation for vegetarians/vegans. You could offer a lot more. I was absolutely disappointed in the taste. A lot of rice, few vegetables and the whole thing only got flavor with a matching sauce, but you have to be able to tolerate the spiciness if you want to achieve something in terms of taste. Here I describe my personal experiences and impressions from my last visit. Everyone can and should form their own opinion, because there are also many positive reviews. And the “meat eaters” in the group were thrilled with the food.

Very nice little Korean restaurant. The selection of food was numerically small, but sufficiently diverse and, I would like to emphasize, very tasty. Some of the meat dishes can also be ordered vegetarian or vegan. I've never been a fan of tofu, but this is completely different than what I know. Delicious. To top it off, we also had great service (Peter). It was a nice evening 👍

The team was very friendly and accommodating. Since I spent a long time in South Korea myself, I have to say that the food has nothing to do with that and the quality is average. The price compared to what was delivered made us a bit angry. Here you should think about whether it wouldn't be better to increase the prices again and become more authentic. The ramen was a cheeky €7 bag of soup with vegetables and hair-thin beef. Do it right, but don't ruin your reputation. I know it's hard to read something like that as a restaurateur today, but we need to give it some serious thought.

The food is really very tasty and high quality. The service is excellent. There is only one star deduction because you can't get into the restaurant with a wheelchair. As a wheelchair user you can only come here and sit outside in summer.

My colleagues and I travel every week to Erfurt since January 2024, we have dinner here 1-2 times a week. The food tastes really good and the people in restaurant are so friendly. I don’t want to say that is the service because the way they talk and service the guests is nice warm☺️ The location of restaurant is in front of Dome place, so nice especially sitting outside 👍👍👍👍 If I visit Erfurt again, I would always come here😊😊😊😊

We were at Wollkim for the first time today and would come back any time. It's been a long time since we were greeted by a waiter in such a friendly and welcoming manner. The service was excellent and the food was very tasty. Our 2-year-old daughter was also given special loving care.

Everything here except the soup is localized, so the seasoned chicken is an unidentified stir-fried chicken and vegetables, and the taste is just so-so. The quantity is appropriate. It's just a foreign average.

The Korean restaurant on Domplatz in Erfurt is a real insider tip. Because the cuisine is not simply Asian in the form that European palates expect. The dishes are actually unusual and take some getting used to in a positive sense. Some flavors may be experienced by guests for the first time. But don't worry, the friendly staff are happy to help you choose the dishes with a large dose of humor. Once you've got a taste for it, you're welcome to stop by again. The price-performance ratio is balanced. It is neither too expensive nor particularly cheap. But the visit is worth it.

The two of us went to Wollkim Essen on a Thursday evening without a reservation. We asked for a table for two and were shown to the back, we sat in the aisle, but that didn't bother us. The order was taken quickly and the drinks came to the table quickly. What then "ruined" the evening was the extremely long waiting time, especially since after 45 minutes I asked the waitress how long it would take - she said "astonished" "the food isn't there yet". She probably went into the kitchen and looked for the order for our dishes, after 10 minutes she said curtly "Yes, something came up or the receipt was missing". After another 25 minutes the dishes came to the table hot. The food was really excellent and definitely sufficient. Unfortunately, we weren't greeted with any gestures, an espresso or anything like that "on the house" and we weren't really apologized for either. It's a shame, there's no second chance to make a first impression.

The food definitely tastes great. Usually the prices in Korean restaurants are too expensive, but I find the prices here reasonable. There were also a lot of vegan options. The chicken dishes had vegan versions. We didn't wait much for kimchi and mandu. The waiters and the owners are very nice and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very nice. It was my first experience with Korean food and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone

So this was the second time we ate at Wollkim and I thought it was fantastic again. And I can't understand these negative reviews. How can you write something so negative? The Wollkim is always worth a visit. And the bulgogi was again very tasty.... I'm already looking forward to the next time...

I went there today. The staff was not really nice and welcoming. Interior is really off and looks too simple, but the art is nice. The prices are too high for the taste and quality you receive. It’s not worth of going there if you only want to try korean food. There are other options that won’t kill your wallet and taste buds. Save your time and money

The waiter/service was very friendly and informative. He radiated a good mood. The kimchi pockets were great. Unfortunately the noodle soup wasn't...7.50 euros or more for mienoodles without vegetables was unfortunately very disappointing. Not a single carrot or other vegetable could be found .I found it extortionate and was very disappointed..

Unfortunately there wasn't enough Korean food, the food was more German cuisine and the dessert wasn't worth the 9 euros. I like to pay for good food, but I was charged a more expensive meal than what I got and I don't think that's good. It definitely wasn't Korean ice cream, but water ice cream with no taste.

I've been to many Korean restaurants in Berlin, but this place has the best soybean paste stew. The owner says he makes soybean paste, soy sauce, and kimchi himself. I don't even eat homemade kimchi, but the kimchi here is perfect for my taste. I highly recommend Koreans to come here and try the bean stew and kimchi☺️

Due to the extremely good reviews of the restaurant we had previously looked at, we were unfortunately very disappointed in the end. The staff, or a certain person, interacted with us very taciturnly and relatively unfriendly or arrogantly. The rest of the staff was nice, but everyone seemed like it was their first day. Tables were mixed up and orders were forgotten or mixed up. We had to wait almost an hour for our food, even though it didn't seem like it was too busy. When we asked to pay, we were assured that an employee would come shortly, but this did not happen for the next 15 minutes. When we asked again, we were unkindly told that payment had to be made in advance, even though other tables were billed in advance at the table. Unfortunately, the food was also very sobering. Unfortunately, some of the kimchi rice was undercooked and still hard, and this dish really didn't taste like kimchi rice at all, compared to an authentic Korean restaurant. No. 21 was very dry and looked and tasted as if it had been under a heat lamp or something similar for a long time. The No.22 was the best dish, this dish was really delicious. The mandus were okay, but they tasted very similar to the TK mandus. Unlike usual Korean restaurants, no side dishes such as kimchi, edamame or radish were served; you have to pay extra for this service per side dish. Ambiance was normal so nothing special, but without Korean influences or anything like that. (It's not bad either) Generally speaking, the experience was very disappointing and the food doesn't live up to expectations in this price range. It generally seemed very chaotic and uncoordinated among the staff. Maybe we caught the wrong day and the cooking and planning is better on other days. As a recommendation, however, I can say that if you want to go out for authentic Korean food, I would not recommend this restaurant.

The portions are not for the hungry, but they are definitely decent and tasty, well presented and absolutely perfectly prepared and seasoned. Not the Asian monotony that we usually know, but actually conjured up a unique taste with different spices. I'm thrilled and think that even the slightly higher price is more than justified given the quality

Dieses Restaurant ist eine wahre Offenbarung. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und das Essen auf dem Punkt lecker und zügig zubereitet worden. Unser persönliches Highlight war aber der attraktive Kellner Peter der einen wunderbaren Humor hat und uns diesen Besuch damit noch verschönt hat. Tolles Erlebnis. Sind im Rahmen der Eat-the-world Tour hierauf aufmerksam geworden, von aussen wirkt das Restaurant eher unscheinbar. Wir haben dann gleich einen Tisch reserviert (empfehlenswert!) und hatten ein tolles Essen. Supernetter Inhaber, nimmt sich Zeit für einen Plausch mit den Gästen und dessen koreanische Frau kreiert in der Küche sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr frisch und geschmackvoll, ordentliche Portionen und auch gut scharf. Die Mandus mit Kimchi sind der Hammer. Kannte ich bislang nicht. Wer mal auf Besuch in Erfurt ist (oder da lebt): ein Besuch lohnt sich! Vielen Dank und viel Erfolg weiterhin.

Absolute Empfehlung. Kleine Karte, mit Vorbestellungen ist auch ein Barbecue möglich. Das Essen war top! Service ebenfalls freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Das Personal war unfreundlich… Ich hab ein paar Sachen akustisch nicht verstanden und mir wurde unfreundlich entgegengekommen und die Augen wurden gerollt . Ich war etwas geschockt das man mir so entgegen gekommen ist , da es mein erstes mal war das ich beschloss dort essen zu gehen !!! Bis aus den Kundenservice hat mir alles gefallen und das essen war gut .

Das Wollkim liegt direkt gegenüber vom Erfurter Dom. Tischreservierung wird empfohlen. Der Gastraum ist prima eingerichtet, über 2 Etagen verzieren Bilder und Autogrammkarten berühmter Sportler/ehemaliger Kollegen der Inhaber die Wände. Sehr schönes Ambiente! Die Auswahl an Speisen war begrenzt. Die Gerichte auf zwei Seiten der Speisekarte waren leider nur auf Vorbestellung machbar, blöd, wenn man das nicht weiß! Die bestellten Gerichte/Klassiker waren gut gewürzt. Scharf ist relativ, wobei ich glaube, in Südkorea wird es schärfer serviert. Als Beilage Reis und Algensalat. Leider war vom Entengericht nicht wirklich etwas von Ente zu schmecken! Schade, das geht echt besser. Das frittierte Hühnchen war gut. Die Portionsgrösse ist für gut 20€ ok, wer mit großem Hunger kommt, sollte mindestens eine Vorspeise bestellen. Fazit: Super Ambiente, gute(s), aufmerksame(s) Gastgeber/Personal und gutes Essen mit Steigerungspotential!

Ein tolles Restaurant. Auf jeden Fall ein kommen wir wieder! Die Mitarbeiter haben sichtlich Freude an ihrer Arbeit und sind um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Die Zubereitung des Essens ist von angemessener Dauer und die tollen Vorspeisen sie sind ein Muss. Alle Gerichte werden mit Stil, sehr gekonnt präsentiert und schmecken einfach nur klasse!!! Das Essen war nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch in großzügigen Portionen serviert. Die Bedienung war insgesamt freundlich, auch wenn ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit wünschenswert gewesen wäre. Dennoch hat dies das Gesamterlebnis nicht beeinträchtigt. Zusammenfassend: eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung.
