I passed by this beautiful half-timbered house by chance. I didn't regret stopping there for a second in my search for a delicious meal. They have a small beer garden. I went back a few days later to try more of the menu. I'd happily go back again.

This was the first restaurant I've ever visited, and I've been a regular ever since, always satisfied!

We came here quite by chance and haven't regretted it for a second. The soups, burgers, and fries were very, very good. The service was also very courteous and attentive. We're booking a table for the next evening right away.

Starting with the smallest dish: Even the fries were perfect. The food is truly excellently prepared and incredibly delicious. We had the Wiener schnitzel, the burger, and the veal schnitzel, and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

During a stay in Bad Salzuflen, we once again visited the restaurant "Zum Salzsieder." In pleasant temperatures, the outdoor area is very tempting. The food was of the usual high quality, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Regarding the drinks, however, we had a surprising experience: the wine was served well below the mark; upon my complaint, the waitress took the glass and disappeared into the bar. After a short while, she brought the glass back with the comment that the employee had wanted to let the wine "settle"(!) first. The beer had apparently settled considerably on its way from the bar to our table. Finally, we ordered a Calvados, which was listed on the menu but not in stock. We then opted for an apricot schnapps (0.04 liter), which also came well below the mark. I intervened again; this time the excuse was that the employee at the bar had assumed an order of 0.02 liter. Conclusion: barely filled glasses seem to be a business principle.

We visited at lunchtime – it was quite quiet, so we were looking forward to a quick snack. Unfortunately, the food wasn't impressive. The fried potatoes and fries tasted like they had been cooked in old oil – which unfortunately became unpleasant later on. I politely mentioned this to the staff, but it was merely noted without further reaction. It might be better in the evening – many of the previous reviews at least suggest that. Unfortunately, for us, lunchtime wasn't a complete experience.

Went to Bad Salzuflen as part of a visit and stopped by the salt maker in the evening. Service was good and the atmosphere was cozy, so it was okay. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing. The hamburger was nothing special as it was just standard. However, the fries that came with it were very good. Unfortunately, the roast beef had quite a layer of fat, which I don't usually find in this dish. The meat wasn't juicy either and the tartar sauce felt like it came from a tube. Here too, the fried potatoes stood out, which were very good.

We were there for the first time before Christmas and were very impressed with the food. We didn't have a reservation and, despite the full restaurant, we still got a quiet, comfortable seat at the counter. We had a starter and main course, a good wine recommendation and friendly service. And today we were there for the second time, but this time we ordered food to pick up. That was also very good. We'd love to come back.

We were in the beautiful restaurant for my 40th birthday. We and our two children really enjoyed the food. Especially the fried potatoes and fries were freshly prepared and super tasty!!! The service was very friendly and accommodating. The friendly waitress even lit a sparkler at our children's request and sang "Happy Birthday". That was really nice and very touching! We have never had such a lovely evening in the restaurant!!! Thank you very much again for that :-)

The salt boiler in Bad Salzuflen is convincing across the board! The beer is not only well chilled, but also of excellent quality - a pleasure for every beer lover. Particularly noteworthy is the Wiener Schnitzel, which comes fresh from the pan: crispy, tender and accompanied by an excellent lukewarm potato and cucumber salad, which tastes just perfect. The veal liver that my wife had was also a real highlight. It was fried until tender and served with creamy mashed potatoes, crisp apples and onions fried until golden brown - a harmonious combination that delighted us both. Added to this is the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant and the attentive service, which make the visit a complete success. Definitely worth a visit!

We were looking for a restaurant and then came across the inn. Called in advance and asked if there was room for 2 people on a Saturday evening. The lady was very nice and said something would be available soon and we drove there. The food was very tasty plus the starter. For me, this is a nice pub that suits my taste.

The food was delivered very quickly! We all found the portion to be too small for the price, but the food was ok.

As the name suggests, the food was good, but unfortunately a bit too fatty and salty, e.g. the fried potatoes. The prices are also rather steep, but the food is not necessarily creative or sophisticated. But if you like a solid, well-made schnitzel or similar fare, this is a good place for you.

All in all it was a lovely evening at the Wirtshaus. The dishes were generous and the drinks were ok. We were there on a Sunday evening and we had a lovely spot in the courtyard. Prices were absolutely fine and the service quite on the ball. Definitely a lovely place for dinner.

My rump steak had a lot of tendons that you couldn't bite. Everything else was fine.

Great location, nice food. However, the customer service... Really bad! We had to wait forever for everything. When we had to leave in a hurry due to an emergency and we had forgotten the receipt in all the excitement, we called the boss who no longer wanted to send us the entertainment receipt. With the statement “they lost the receipt, not me”. Very bad! We urgently needed this for our accounting. We enjoyed being there. But such a service is not possible! Therefore, never again!

We were there today for my dad's birthday. We also mentioned this when we reserved a table over the phone. When we arrived the restaurant was moderately busy. We initially had a table outside. Since it got quite cool when the sun went away, we went to the restaurant. The service came very quickly and the food arrived quickly. Out of 4 people we had 3x the daily special rump steak with pepper sauce and fries. The taste was good, but 2 steaks were completely covered in tendons and that wasn't really tasty. My steak was cooked rather well-done instead of medium. When we pointed out the tendon problem to the waitress when she asked if everything was OK, the only excuse was that they couldn't look inside the steaks. Well, actually you can already see them in raw meat. We found that a bit poor as an apology. Especially since the price is not that cheap at almost €30. We would also have thought at least a happy birthday would have been nice. So the evening there was a bit disappointing.

Were here with two girls on a girls' weekend. Very tasty food, fresh and natural. We were told at the beginning that it could take a while, depending on what we ordered, as everything was freshly cooked. However, I didn't find the wait unreasonable. Very nice and open service, very tasty food. We can highly recommend it. A greeting goes to the kitchen: I'm usually not a big fan of pastries for dessert, but the Kaiserschmarren is delicious. Not too sweet, very fluffy, juicy. Thanks for a great stay.

At the end of the summer we went to the 'Zum Salzsieder' inn. Friendly service, the food was very tasty 😄 we can recommend the inn.

We were there in the summer and were able to sit in the beautiful beer garden. The service was very friendly, and the tarte flambée and tagliatelle with salmon and spinach were very tasty. The cellar beer and the homemade lemonade were also very good.

The restaurant is located in a half-timbered house on the Salze, just a few steps away from the spa gardens. We had lunch in the beer garden. Original tables, probably immovable. concrete. Zander and salmon with salted or diced potatoes, with a salad plate. Very delicious. The service was friendly and accommodating.

Sitzen grad noch hier, beim Getränke austrinken. ;-) Es war sehr lecker. Ich hatte einen Flammkuchen, mein Mann Bandnudeln mit Champignons und Schweinefiletstreifen. Würden wir näher wohnen, würden wir garantiert wiederkommen. Und auch der Service war persönlich und sehr nett, trotz „voller Hütte“. Daumen hoch!
