Great place, very friendly staff 👍 Great food We really enjoyed it We didn't have a reservation, but we happened to pass by and thought it was very nice. It was actually full, but the waitress said something would be available soon, so she sat us at a reserved table, and the evening went really well 👍 We had tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms, cheese spaetzle, schnitzel with fries, and beef with arugula – everything was really delicious and plentiful.

Very good restaurant. I had the Maultauschen (sausages) with a side salad. The salad is really large, but delicious. Delicious. The light beer is also quite drinkable.

We received a very warm welcome and had a good seat in the garden. The food came quickly, and the portions were truly generous and delicious! Payment by card was also possible! So, everything was perfect.

An excellent pub in the heart of the city. The service is great. I was here yesterday and today. Yesterday just for a beer. Today I ate. Very tasty brewery cuisine. Highly recommended. On some days you have to make a reservation. Today I sat at a table with a few guys I didn't know, just to get a seat. It's a lot of fun here.

We were at the Karlsruhe Zoo and were looking for good, home-style cooking, and we found it. It's not far from the zoo, within walking distance. The food is a bit pricey but good. The beer garden is nice, the restrooms are in a very old building. The service is friendly. The street leading to the inn takes a bit of getting used to in terms of the crowd. Unfortunately, the beer garden is also there. We sat closer to the inn, in the middle. We're from the village, so we don't have anything like that here. But if that's okay with that, you can eat well there. We had sausage salad and schnitzel. 👍

I wasn't impressed. The service and location were good. But at €9 for a slice of chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream, the only thing that should be frozen is the ice cream.

I regularly recommend Wolfsbräu to my own customers, as I work in the Südstadt district myself. We've held our Christmas parties here over the past few years and have, all in all, always been satisfied. Unfortunately, this time I have to offer some balanced criticism after the service has repeatedly disappointed me somewhat. Specifically, it was a certain server. As someone with service experience, I know that the job can be stressful, especially on a Friday evening in the summer. What I don't have to be understanding, however, is when the server suggestively insinuates that I lied on the bill. Specifically, I ordered a beer and a meal. The drink never arrived, the food was there, and when I asked for it, the beer came fairly quickly; no problem at all... Until, when I was paying the bill, I was told I'd ordered two beers, which I wanted to correct. Even as I was searching for the tip (cash payment), I could feel her visibly annoyed, unable to fully hide her frustration, and commented. (Stressful days can happen.) However, the only right option here would have been to remain friendly and accept the situation without comment in order to ensure good service and a good customer experience. After all, one beer isn't worth it if it determines whether I come back or send someone else over, right? As a waiter, I would have paid for the incorrectly tipped beer with my tip and left it at that. For me, these are the details that show me whether the waiter understood the restaurant business or not. The previous time, the same person reminded me about the tip when paying with a card. I'm not a fan of tip culture, but I'm happy to give it myself, but I don't need to be reminded, and I don't really find it pleasant! Unfortunately, the prices have also risen significantly, but the quality is still consistently good. It would simply be nice if people here would take a closer look at some of these issues... Of course, I'll still give Wolf a chance and will happily adjust my review accordingly!

The most beautiful spot in Karlsruhe – with a beer garden to match. At least when the neighbors aren't too loud (but no star deducted for the ambiance, because Wolfsbräu isn't to blame). The interior is as cozy as only a traditional pub can be. A diverse crowd with many regulars. Great service and honest, good food at fair prices. The best fries in Karlsruhe, and the fries too. I guess I'm often there twice a week... It's great that you exist!

We had a really good time at Wirtshaus Wolfbräu. They have vegetarian burgers and large Flammkuchen. The drinks and the atmosphere on a pleasant summer night were absolutely a treat. However, I would rather imagine the burgers being served with a side of fries without having to order them as extra. The desserts are also a bit overpriced. All in all, we enjoyed our time there

Rich menu, meaty, vegetarian and everything in between the schnitzel is great, the burger is excellent, the last course with plum jam is all comforting and takes you back to childhood. The service is amazing

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant, as you'd expect from a local restaurant. Only the schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn were rather dry.

Went back to Wolfbräu after a long time – young, friendly service, good food (just the schnitzel was a bit dry), and the beer in the pitcher was nice and cold and tasty. We'll be back – maybe the schnitzel from the pan is better!

What a nice restaurant. The cheeseburger was great and they serve a delicious beer. Came here by chance, but it is definitely worth a 2nd visit. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic.

Hello dear Wolf team, I've had the schnitzel with fries here several times, and it was always good. However, last time I got a frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer. The portion was also significantly smaller than I'm used to at your place. I have to say, I find that very unfortunate and hope you don't downsize elsewhere as well.

Both the Braumeister pan and the napkin dumplings were absolutely fantastic. The food was delivered super quickly. There was no wait for a table (2 people), and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The food was really good—above average in taste and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. We had to ask several times before we could order and later pay. The wait for the food was also quite long at times. It's a shame, because the culinary potential is definitely there.

5 stars: fresh, tasty, friendly! We had schnitzel and napkin dumplings, both were really tasty, freshly prepared and well done. Despite the full house and the best weather, the waitresses were totally attentive, friendly and very accommodating. It was noticeable that the team kept track of things even under stress. I was there on vacation in March and, as a flexitarian, wanted to test at least one restaurant's vegetarian offerings. I was very satisfied with the meal, vegetarian Maultaschen with salad, as the selection of vegetarian dishes was large, the portion was large, the price was fair and it was as simple as it was ingenious. I was also very satisfied with the service, as both the service and the menu treated vegetarian food completely normally. On the menu, vegetarian food was listed under classics and not in a separate category, but dishes that were vegetarian or vegan were still marked separately and since I was still unsure, the waitress naturally asked if I would like to eat vegetarian. The atmosphere was okay because I was afraid of the drunk people outside on the square and the rooms inside are sometimes very dark. Overall I was very satisfied, but I wouldn't want to sit outside.

We're in Karlsruhe once a year, and every time, this inn is one of our regular destinations. The menu is relatively simple, but so far, it's always been generous portions, delicious food, and a wonderful house beer. And you can eat until late, which is ideal for us when attending trade fairs. The service is fast and good, the menu is small but good, and the atmosphere is very cozy. And when the weather's nice, there's even a large terrace...

One of the best breweries in Karlsruhe, in the middle of the typical trendy district of the southern city, good beer selection, hearty and sufficient food, everything you need at least once a quarter. There are two excellent bars in the immediate vicinity.

Good old inn in the middle of Karlsruhe. There is an interesting menu with fair prices. Food tastes good. I like the dark beer. It gets crowded on some evenings and if you want to go for dinner with more than 2 people, then I recommend making reservations. The service is very friendly and quite quick. We come to Wolfsbräu regularly. The roast is hearty, homemade and delicious. Schnitzel, sausage salad, Maultaschen - everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly, even when the store is full. The schnitzel was not fried but deep fried, which made the taste not so accessible. It was a bit dry as a result. The portion size of the schnitzel was not particularly large. The salad was sold as a side dish for €5.90 and was slightly more than standard. He was fresh. The beer selection here is more than anywhere else and delicious. Ich persönlich kann dieses Wirtshaus nur empfehlen als Geheimtipp in Karlsruhe , wer in Karlsruhe zu Gast ist sollte da einmal vorbeischauen , der große Biergarten ist auch teilweise bei winterlichen Temperaturen geöffnet , dank der Heizstrahler ist das sehr gemütlich dort draußen zu sitzen.

Our food came relatively quickly and tasted really good. The service is very friendly and helpful. Everything was right here, the tavern ambience, the service, the food, the beers and the price. It's just better to reserve in advance.

Typical of what you would imagine a brewery to be, rustic with rustic furnishings. The service is competent, quick and friendly. The food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is great, the beer also tastes good, although not all varieties are to everyone's taste. Unfortunately I have to deduct 2 stars for the toilets smeared with graffiti. A renovation would be appropriate here. Tip: To be on the safe side, you should make a table reservation as it gets quite full early on. This works easily via the website.

What a gem of a place. The decor, ambience, beer and service were all amazing. The food was so deliscious and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. I'd recommend the Kaiserschmarrn for desert. The cordon blue was tasty and bacon wrapped dates were sweet and salty.
