I sat outside. That was good, especially because the sun was shining. Unfortunately, there was no cake to go with my coffee. A cappuccino still imitated the combination satisfactorily. Self-service outside.

The food was good and the restaurant was very child-friendly. However, it was very noisy and noisy. The staff was very friendly.

Highly recommended! Our group was very satisfied and the view was spectacular.

Sitting outside in this beautiful weather and having a drink is something you can only enjoy, not only the drink but also the view of nature.

The ambiance was nice, but the food was unfortunately from the freezer and the sauces from a bucket, and the service was abysmal. When we asked, we were refused a glass of tap water for our infant. They said the glasses were only for sparkling water, and you had to pay for it.

We were there last Sunday!! The restaurant was rather quiet...unlike in the past. The food came very quickly, but the quality was lacking...frozen schnitzel...the sauce was way too thick and from a packet...not to mention the side salad...a disaster...after asking several times, we finally got something to drink... So, two years ago, the Alm was MEGA...today, it's more of a flop...

Child-friendly inn with Bavarian styling. The food and drink menu leaves nothing to be desired. Prices are moderate. Directly behind the restaurant is a large playground, before you enter a spacious wildlife park, which is free to enter. Plenty of parking is available, free of charge. Update August 2025 Prices are at the upper end for the quality and quantity now offered. The schnitzels are between the size of a chicken nugget and a children's schnitzel, and the mushroom cream sauce (apparently a 1 kg can of Knorr from Metro) comes with a whopping three slices of mushrooms. €5.90 for a wheat beer is also a hefty price, as are all the drinks. The service gives the impression that they're hoping to call it a night soon.

We celebrated our wedding at the Wildpark Alm in July because the venue has such a wonderful rustic ambiance, we'd always been very satisfied with our previous visits, and because they offered a vegan option right from the start ♥️ (which was important to me, as we had four people with us who eat vegan food). The coordination of the celebrations worked out perfectly, everyone was on equal footing, and we received good advice :) On the day itself, everything went smoothly; the staff was friendly and accommodating, and you could really tell they enjoyed their work :) The food was truly delicious, and we received great feedback from our guests. We were also able to hold our outdoor wedding ceremony in the winter garden, so we had everything in one place. It was an all-around successful day, and we can wholeheartedly recommend the Wildpark Alm 🥰

We were there on a Sunday around 4:30 p.m., 50% of the tables were free, but there was a sign at the entrance saying, "Please wait here!" After waiting for five minutes, with all the waiters walking past us, we left again. There's no need for that. Presumably the sign is still there from the Corona period?

I had a potato salad here, which was quite tasty, but nothing exceptional. The service seemed noticeably stressed, which is understandable given the high volume of customers, but you still felt more like you were being "worked through" than truly welcomed. The restaurant seems to be a real tourist magnet—busy, busy. Anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and a relaxed meal probably won't get their money's worth here—at least during the holiday season. Okay for a quick bite in a central location right next to the game reserve, but not recommended for a convivial evening in a quiet setting.

Luckily, we were able to get a spot on the spot. Upon arrival, we were informed that it might take a little longer. Very good! The food was plentiful and truly delicious. The great selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes is particularly noteworthy. The staff was very friendly overall; we'd be happy to come back!

We went to the Wildpark-Alm restaurant for lunch for the first time since the change of ownership. Our impression is that the value for money is no longer there! We each had a Chef's Salad and a Feel-Good Salad. Apart from the price, we didn't notice any difference between the salads. The prices (€17 and €18 respectively) for the individual salad plates are too high considering the quality of the salads served on the plates, a half slice of bread, and the extra-thin schnitzel cut into strips. The ambiance (we sat in the winter garden) also leaves a lot to be desired! The service was friendly. We'll rule out another visit to the Wildpark-Alm.

Very good food, great/friendly staff, and a fantastic atmosphere both inside and in the beer garden or on the terrace with panoramic views. The value for money is definitely good.

We ate here with 11 people. Several dishes were served only half-warm. At 5:00 PM, I informed the staff that the men's restroom was out of paper towels and the hand dryer was out of order. At 6:20 PM, the paper towels were still missing, and the restroom could use a cleaning.

So you should definitely go there and enjoy.

Excellent casual restaurant with outdoor patio area, the atmosphere is great. Food is affordable compared to the average prices of the greater region. The restaurant is very popular during the weekend, and therefore reserving in advance is advisable.

The location is great, and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. The ambiance matches the name, and the menu is generous and informal. I only came for coffee and cake, so I can't say much about the food. The cake was definitely delicious. I received friendly service, and my order came quickly. I would have loved to go again, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time.

Totally disappointed! Unfortunately, the quality has declined considerably. Now they serve ready-made schnitzel, which isn't tasty at all. It's mostly breaded. I found the service rather annoying and unaccommodating. I didn't really feel welcome. Far too overpriced for this quality!!!!! I also think it's a shame the menu is always the same.

Even the little ones will get their money's worth here. The playground for the little ones is easily visible from the terrace.

We were there yesterday as a club with around 50 people and were served well and very attentively from start to finish. We never had to wait long for our orders and were thoroughly pampered. Even the pre-planning for the day went smoothly, with very friendly communication both by phone and email. A special menu with four different dishes was created for us in advance, so there was something for everyone. And the agreed-upon mealtime was also kept without reminders. I don't know if the chef has changed since then, but we can't understand many of the reviews because the food was simply fresh, plentiful, and delicious. We give this restaurant 5 stars because everything worked out perfectly. We would love to come back!

We spontaneously went there for dinner on Thursday. We both opted for the steak with extra onions and a salad. Both steaks were of very good quality and cooked to perfection. I also had a Gutmann wheat beer with them. The food and drinks were served quickly, and the seating on the indoor terrace was very pleasant.

After our hike in the wildlife and hiking park, my family and I decided to have dinner at the Wildpark-Alm inn in the perfect weather and end the day in a relaxed manner. Sitting outside on one of the swing benches in the sun, we enjoyed the wonderful view of the valley and the delicious food. Before and after dinner, we were able to watch our five-year-old daughter from the spacious playground next door...and otherwise have a quiet chat. The inn offers a rustic and cozy ambiance, both inside and out. We enjoyed it, although I consider the drink prices (€6.20 for a large fruit juice spritzer) to be quite excessive.

Nice ambience in country house style, very family friendly and tasty food. A large, spacious playground, beer garden and wildlife park in the immediate vicinity make the inn a worthwhile excursion destination for young and old. The price-performance ratio is good and different seating options including "swings" as well as many shaded areas invite you to linger for a longer time.

After a spontaneous visit on a sunny Sunday afternoon, we can't understand the bad reviews here in any way. We, 2 adults and a baby in a stroller, easily got a table without a reservation. The waitresses were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The meal we ordered, 2x rump steak, arrived at the table perfectly fried within 15 minutes, despite the “hut being full”. Given the price of around €26 per dish, we were extremely positively surprised by the quality of the meat. The plates were just a little too heavily garnished with the infamous dried parsley, which gave rise to fears of something worse ;-)... All in all a very successful visit, gladly again!

The food was completely subpar on Good Friday. We were hoping for a fish special that day, only the special was beef rib. Doesn't fit at all. I had the onion meatloaf myself... If you can call it that. It was a carelessly slapped together pile that was cooked to death in the convector and then poured over with a ready-made sauce. The meat was well seasoned and something else, more like a sausage meat. Match homemade when someone had no idea what they were doing. No crust a pile covered in sauce. Spaetzle were OK but nothing more. My wife didn't like her food either, i.e. salad with raw vegetables and potatoes. Lots of decoration and little that was actually edible. We were there with 12 people, including 7 children. Service was good and friendly, which needs to be emphasized. With everything we paid €70 for a canteen meal. If it stays like this we'll never come back...

Update April 2025: There are now molded meat frozen schnitzels here, the schnitzels used to be super tasty, of the best quality and homemade with noticeable love. Service is now rather unfriendly and inattentive. It's a shame that a pub can develop so negatively within 2 years. Rarely experienced. We certainly won't be coming back again. Review from 2023: I haven't eaten something so tasty in a long time. Best quality at a good price. The service was also very friendly and on point. After a long walk through the zoo, you can sit together here and enjoy. We'll be back soon.

We were walking in the park and just wanted to have a drink at 3:30 p.m. when we were asked whether we had made a reservation. The restaurant was almost empty and it would have taken us maybe 30 minutes. We couldn't get a seat and were asked to leave in an extremely rude manner. Never again.

Well, we were there for dinner an hour ago today, around 7:30 p.m., without a reservation and were turned away on the grounds that the kitchen was already closed. I am 38 years old and have eaten in countless restaurants but have never been turned away at a restaurant at this time. We were already happy about the great ambience and the home-style cuisine - our mouths were already watering...

Very nice atmosphere, deserves the name Alm. Pork schnitzel with sauce, fresh mushrooms and fries was plentiful and good at a fair price. Only the side salad was nothing. Service was friendly.

Typical German food of quality. Tasty dishes in a good size. Vegetarian options and non-alcoholic beers. Lovely location. I advise you to make a reservation, because it is always full. Bon appetit!

Very pleasant atmosphere, rustic and cozy. Large room, already divided and a large winter garden with a great view. The menu offers what I expect in a restaurant. Both hearty dishes and light dishes such as salads can be found there. On Thursdays there are fried chicken and pancakes. And it tasted really good and we would too. The staff is quick and very accommodating, and the boss is always present and takes loving care of her guests. I am very enthusiastic and will definitely come back. Very clear recommendation without any ifs and buts.

Probably the best half chicken in the area. Update 02.2025 After the change of tenant, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Ms. Selzer had the store under control. At reception, when you are seated, you often stand alone for minutes. Now for the third time... Food was okay, but expensive. Half chicken, fries, salad... Meatloaf (the size of a well-intentioned meatball) with fries and salad, 2 wheat, 2 apple spritzer, 2 ice cream desserts: €75. Seed dressing bland. Since Corona, always the same side salad. Two leaves of Krull lettuce, a cocktail tomato, coleslaw from the bucket. There was a salad buffet beforehand. It's getting boring. We have to take a year off now.

We had the pleasure of visiting Wildpark-Alm and all I can say is that it was a fantastic experience! The food was great – freshly prepared and full of flavor. We were particularly impressed by the regional specialties! The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and really cared about the guests' well-being. You immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The combination of delicious food and first-class service makes the Wildpark-Alm an absolute insider tip!

I'm not sure if we just had a bad day here. Waiters came irregularly or not at all, so you couldn't reorder. Furthermore, something wrong was brought to the table once and unfortunately my colleague didn't get her food back when she was packing it up. Very annoying. The food tastes good!

The food was delicious. What annoyed us was that regulars are clearly given preferential treatment here. Four people arrived about 10 minutes after us and were greeted very warmly. They were served immediately and received their food very quickly. We, on the other hand, had to wait forever!

The ambience is nice, lots of space and great views. Unfortunately I can't say much more positive things. The schnitzels were frozen food, the service wasn't very accommodating and I've had friendlier experiences and unfortunately something was always forgotten or brought to the table incorrectly. In conclusion, one can say that there is definitely potential for more here.

The chef meant well with the pepper. The prices are completely overpriced. The staff and even the boss are incompetent. Not recommended this restaurant.

We went based on the good reviews but were disappointed. We didn't like the food. The schnitzels were not pounded flat but fried, and the currywurst was also not fried but fried. The salad with lots of white cabbage. But you don't have to wait long for the food, the service is very nice. View very nice. Very cold in the winter garden. Upon request, the installed heaters were unfortunately out of order.

We had lunch after visiting the animal park. They have quite a few vegan options on the menu which was a plus for us. Too bad none of the kids menus were vegan/vegetarian (except for the chips). The food was good, the drinks (cappuccinos and hot chocolate) weren’t hot at all though. Clean toilets. waitress was very nice.

The wildlife park is beautiful and well maintained. Entrance is paid at a machine. The prices are OK. You can buy food to feed the animals. There is also an adventure playground. Unfortunately the restaurant is not that good. Ambiance and service are OK. Staff is nice. The food is not that good quality. Frying oil is not replaced every day. Currywurst was a dry warmed up "straw". Spaetzle was overcooked etc.

Ambiance and service were good, food was a disaster. I was there with my wife and two grandchildren. A currywurst with fries costs 12 euros. Here the bratwurst is in one piece, extra for sauce. That's good. The taste of the reheated bratwurst was terrible. Consistency, smell and taste like cardboard or paper. In every stall you can get a freshly fried sausage, but not in this restaurant. The fries are prepared in fat that is several days old, which is why I preferred spaetzle instead, which had probably already spent the whole day in the water bath. The SAUCE was run of the mill and too spicy. The children ate the warmed schnitzel and fries. They were hungry.

Wow, the Wirtshaus Wildpark-Alm really exceeded all of our expectations. I'm visiting modest Weiskirchen and the visit to the Alm was a real highlight. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. And even though we showed up without a reservation, we were taken care of and got a great seat. It's really nice to have found a place where you feel so heard, respected and at home.

It was our first time eating here and we were very disappointed. The carrot ginger soup was tasty and the dessert was delicious, we also had Kaiserschmarrn. The main course was a schnitzel with cream sauce. The schnitzel tasted completely like old fat. There weren't enough fries. The side salad once had a yogurt sauce, and mine only had vinegar on it. Both salad dressings didn't taste good, they were just sour. I had the Thai curry rice. The Thai curry sauce was like a thin soup with completely overcooked vegetables in it. You feel like you're just pouring a thin soup over the rice. It didn't taste good at all either. You couldn't even taste the coconut milk. Conclusion, unfortunately we will not be coming back and cannot make a recommendation. The atmosphere and conditions are great. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the kitchen.

The portion was big enough to fill you up and was delicious. You can see that people are cooking in the kitchen and NOT just any bags being torn open by temporary workers. Very nice atmosphere in the middle of the countryside, large playground for the children right next door. Nice and attentive staff, prices very fair and reasonable. It was my first time eating there and it's now high on my favorites list.

I can't say anything negative here. Except perhaps that the service staff seemed a bit disorganized. But that wasn't a problem because we received excellent service. The food was so good that we came here again the following day. I can recommend the Wildpark-Alm to everyone!

We celebrated our wedding and our daughter's baptism there and were more than disappointed. Unfortunately, many processes were not as one would have expected in a well-run restaurant. - The tables were not set with the coffee setting as previously discussed. There were also some older guests who would have been happy to have a cup. - Water was put on the tables, but there were no glasses - The cakes were not cut - We had to wait forever for the wedding cake - The service staff was too slow or hardly available. Apart from a very friendly waitress, who probably got the whole procedure from the previous owner of the Alm as her mother, no one else was able to serve well. Drinks were forgotten and the coffee machine was broken that day? A no go if I have at least two companies that day - Your head chef urged us that it was now time for the buffet because she still had other guests to cook for and wouldn't be able to keep up with the work... but that's not our problem if she miscalculates; Quantity rather than quality counts and you can't keep up with your work. Then perhaps it would have been better to just focus on one society! - We had already spoken to the previous owner about the buffet and photo box being set up inside. Instead, we were completely moved to the outside terrace so that space could be made for a second party - again, unfortunately, the only thing that mattered was making money instead of making the guests happy! - some of our guests cleaned up themselves and had to run to the counter for their drinks... that's just a disgrace. - Most recently it was communicated that you would help us decorate the tables, as had already been discussed with the previous owner and you in the preliminary discussion. If our helpers hadn't been there, the tables probably wouldn't have been decorated at all. It was supposed to be the best day for us, but unfortunately due to your poor service and poor implementation it was the wrong decision to celebrate with you. Instead of focusing on them doing a good job, it was more important that they collected as much money as possible that day. That's too bad . We have been frequent guests at your house for years and enjoyed eating at your house with our family at Christmas. This won't happen again! It just costs so much money and it's not nice when the organizer is completely overwhelmed with 70 guests. Unfortunately, the heart and soul of the Alm, as well as the quality that you always felt with the previous owner, are no longer there. It's bad when you experience such a disaster on the best day of your life. Certainly nice as a destination, but be careful of large events that you want to organize there. Definitely never again for us!

Was here for the first time today. The food is great, fresh and of very good quality. The portions are almost a work in progress - but a very pleasant job! The service is perfect, very friendly, courteous and very attentive. All in all, absolutely recommended, the prices are really fair and I'm looking forward to going back here tomorrow! Currywurst, schnitzel, salad and the champion cream sauce are simply a poem! However, you should reserve a table, otherwise you might not enjoy it!

I went out for fried potatoes with my parents today. The food was very tasty! We are full and completely happy. The cook even came to our table and asked if everything was OK. The waiters are also very courteous and attentive. I absolutely cannot understand the previous reviews. For us this is a great restaurant with a beautiful view. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back here.

A rustic inn with plenty of space for the whole family, group or couple, good home-style food in a hut atmosphere. Service is good, fast, friendly. There is indoor, terrace and outdoor. The kids can let off steam in a huge playground. There is nothing to complain about here.

Annoyed, during our visit today we found out when we ordered that there was no longer any steak on the menu for Sunday lunch. When we asked the waitress we got the answer: “If the boss has decided that, it’s her restaurant, she can do whatever she wants.” So friendly is different. It's a shame, because we were there for steak. After asking the boss, we got the answer: "It's too stressful in the kitchen" 🤔 We then ordered schnitzel, which was fried in old fat. Not tasty After the 350 gr. size of the steak was taken off the menu a while ago (reason: the kitchen was too stressful), only the 250 gr. Variant offered. Conclusion: We will consider going back in the future. Not that it's too stressful for the kitchen to open the door. Simply disappointed. 😞

We stopped here after a long hike. Thirst and hunger were quenched with a large shandy and a portion of Kaiserschmarrn. Everything was fine. You can recommend the location without hesitation.

We ate there yesterday, the first time since the change of ownership. I had a senior plate because I was usually overwhelmed by the large portion. My schnitzel had maybe 100 grams, if that. You could also count the fries. This was definitely a children's plate. This time it didn't convince me but we will still come back, maybe it was just a bad day and a second chance is necessary.
