Wirtshaus Wildpark-Alm in Weiskirchen

The food was very tasty. What annoyed us was that regular guests were clearly given priority here. About 10 minutes after us, four people arrived and were warmly welcomed. We were served immediately and received our food very quickly. We, on the other hand, had to wait forever!

This is a very original restaurant, lovingly decorated. The service is very good and friendly. The food was very tasty and filling. The price-performance ratio is good and the menu is well put together. There are meat, salads and vegetarian dishes. So go there.

A nice place for group entertainment, spacious interior, good food, plenty of parking space.

The ambience is nice, lots of space and great views. Unfortunately I can't say much more positive things. The schnitzels were frozen food, the service wasn't very accommodating and I've had friendlier experiences and unfortunately something was always forgotten or brought to the table incorrectly. In conclusion, one can say that there is definitely potential for more here.

The chef meant well with the pepper. The prices are completely overpriced. The staff and even the boss are incompetent. Not recommended this restaurant.

We went based on the good reviews but were disappointed. We didn't like the food. The schnitzels were not pounded flat but fried, and the currywurst was also not fried but fried. The salad with lots of white cabbage. But you don't have to wait long for the food, the service is very nice. View very nice. Very cold in the winter garden. Upon request, the installed heaters were unfortunately out of order.

We had lunch after visiting the animal park. They have quite a few vegan options on the menu which was a plus for us. Too bad none of the kids menus were vegan/vegetarian (except for the chips). The food was good, the drinks (cappuccinos and hot chocolate) weren’t hot at all though. Clean toilets. waitress was very nice.

The wildlife park is beautiful and well maintained. Entrance is paid at a machine. The prices are OK. You can buy food to feed the animals. There is also an adventure playground. Unfortunately the restaurant is not that good. Ambiance and service are OK. Staff is nice. The food is not that good quality. Frying oil is not replaced every day. Currywurst was a dry warmed up "straw". Spaetzle was overcooked etc.

Ambiance and service were good, food was a disaster. I was there with my wife and two grandchildren. A currywurst with fries costs 12 euros. Here the bratwurst is in one piece, extra for sauce. That's good. The taste of the reheated bratwurst was terrible. Consistency, smell and taste like cardboard or paper. In every stall you can get a freshly fried sausage, but not in this restaurant. The fries are prepared in fat that is several days old, which is why I preferred spaetzle instead, which had probably already spent the whole day in the water bath. The SAUCE was run of the mill and too spicy. The children ate the warmed schnitzel and fries. They were hungry.

It was our first time eating here and we were very disappointed. The carrot ginger soup was tasty and the dessert was delicious, we also had Kaiserschmarrn. The main course was a schnitzel with cream sauce. The schnitzel tasted completely like old fat. There weren't enough fries. The side salad once had a yogurt sauce, and mine only had vinegar on it. Both salad dressings didn't taste good, they were just sour. I had the Thai curry rice. The Thai curry sauce was like a thin soup with completely overcooked vegetables in it. You feel like you're just pouring a thin soup over the rice. It didn't taste good at all either. You couldn't even taste the coconut milk. Conclusion, unfortunately we will not be coming back and cannot make a recommendation. The atmosphere and conditions are great. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the kitchen.

Wow, the Wirtshaus Wildpark-Alm really exceeded all of our expectations. I'm visiting modest Weiskirchen and the visit to the Alm was a real highlight. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. And even though we showed up without a reservation, we were taken care of and got a great seat. It's really nice to have found a place where you feel so heard, respected and at home.

A very beautiful alpine pasture and so cozy. With such small niches and a lot of choice of food. So go there again. And very young staff. Everything is great

Delicious rustic food. We were there with a larger group and were well served. The food was delicious. You can sit inside and outside and quickly stop off after visiting the nearby wildlife park.

The portion was big enough to fill you up and was delicious. You can see that people are cooking in the kitchen and NOT just any bags being torn open by temporary workers. Very nice atmosphere in the middle of the countryside, large playground for the children right next door. Nice and attentive staff, prices very fair and reasonable. It was my first time eating there and it's now high on my favorites list.

I can't say anything negative here. Except perhaps that the service staff seemed a bit disorganized. But that wasn't a problem because we received excellent service. The food was so good that we came here again the following day. I can recommend the Wildpark-Alm to everyone!

We celebrated our wedding and our daughter's baptism there and were more than disappointed. Unfortunately, many processes were not as one would have expected in a well-run restaurant. - The tables were not set with the coffee setting as previously discussed. There were also some older guests who would have been happy to have a cup. - Water was put on the tables, but there were no glasses - The cakes were not cut - We had to wait forever for the wedding cake - The service staff was too slow or hardly available. Apart from a very friendly waitress, who probably got the whole procedure from the previous owner of the Alm as her mother, no one else was able to serve well. Drinks were forgotten and the coffee machine was broken that day? A no go if I have at least two companies that day - Your head chef urged us that it was now time for the buffet because she still had other guests to cook for and wouldn't be able to keep up with the work... but that's not our problem if she miscalculates; Quantity rather than quality counts and you can't keep up with your work. Then perhaps it would have been better to just focus on one society! - We had already spoken to the previous owner about the buffet and photo box being set up inside. Instead, we were completely moved to the outside terrace so that space could be made for a second party - again, unfortunately, the only thing that mattered was making money instead of making the guests happy! - some of our guests cleaned up themselves and had to run to the counter for their drinks... that's just a disgrace. - Most recently it was communicated that you would help us decorate the tables, as had already been discussed with the previous owner and you in the preliminary discussion. If our helpers hadn't been there, the tables probably wouldn't have been decorated at all. It was supposed to be the best day for us, but unfortunately due to your poor service and poor implementation it was the wrong decision to celebrate with you. Instead of focusing on them doing a good job, it was more important that they collected as much money as possible that day. That's too bad . We have been frequent guests at your house for years and enjoyed eating at your house with our family at Christmas. This won't happen again! It just costs so much money and it's not nice when the organizer is completely overwhelmed with 70 guests. Unfortunately, the heart and soul of the Alm, as well as the quality that you always felt with the previous owner, are no longer there. It's bad when you experience such a disaster on the best day of your life. Certainly nice as a destination, but be careful of large events that you want to organize there. Definitely never again for us!

I went out for fried potatoes with my parents today. The food was very tasty! We are full and completely happy. The cook even came to our table and asked if everything was OK. The waiters are also very courteous and attentive. I absolutely cannot understand the previous reviews. For us this is a great restaurant with a beautiful view. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back here.

Was here for the first time today. The food is great, fresh and of very good quality. The portions are almost a work in progress - but a very pleasant job! The service is perfect, very friendly, courteous and very attentive. All in all, absolutely recommended, the prices are really fair and I'm looking forward to going back here tomorrow! Currywurst, schnitzel, salad and the champion cream sauce are simply a poem! However, you should reserve a table, otherwise you might not enjoy it!

A rustic inn with plenty of space for the whole family, group or couple, good home-style food in a hut atmosphere. Service is good, fast, friendly. There is indoor, terrace and outdoor. The kids can let off steam in a huge playground. There is nothing to complain about here.

Annoyed, during our visit today we found out when we ordered that there was no longer any steak on the menu for Sunday lunch. When we asked the waitress we got the answer: “If the boss has decided that, it’s her restaurant, she can do whatever she wants.” So friendly is different. It's a shame, because we were there for steak. After asking the boss, we got the answer: "It's too stressful in the kitchen" 🤔 We then ordered schnitzel, which was fried in old fat. Not tasty After the 350 gr. size of the steak was taken off the menu a while ago (reason: the kitchen was too stressful), only the 250 gr. Variant offered. Conclusion: We will consider going back in the future. Not that it's too stressful for the kitchen to open the door. Simply disappointed. 😞

We stopped here after a long hike. Thirst and hunger were quenched with a large shandy and a portion of Kaiserschmarrn. Everything was fine. You can recommend the location without hesitation.

We ate there yesterday, the first time since the change of ownership. I had a senior plate because I was usually overwhelmed by the large portion. My schnitzel had maybe 100 grams, if that. You could also count the fries. This was definitely a children's plate. This time it didn't convince me but we will still come back, maybe it was just a bad day and a second chance is necessary.

Since the new owners, the quality of the food has declined significantly. Already noticed negatively twice in a row with different dishes. We won't be going back any time soon. We used to go there regularly.

Very nice location outside Weiskirchen with a wildlife park for hiking or walking. After the change of ownership a few months ago, we came to the restaurant on a Saturday evening. You had to reserve a table with the previous owner because the restaurant was always full. During our current visit to the restaurant we were very surprised that there were guests there. There is a sign at the entrance stating that seats have been assigned and that you should wait here. After waiting for a while, a guest called out to the waitress that guests were waiting to be assigned a seat. We ordered drinks and food. I had a sausage salad with fries. Some of the fries were already cold, soggy and extremely salty. The sausage salad had almost no taste, was dry and tasted like pickles and vinegar. My partner had schnitzel with champion cream sauce, spaetzle and a side salad. The salad was extremely small and consisted of 3 small lettuce leaves, white cabbage salad, 1 slice of cucumber and half a small party tomato. What was remarkable was that the salad garnish for the sausage salad was much more extensive. The only positive thing here was the dressing, which was absolutely too expensive as a side salad at €3.90. The schnitzel was a typical frozen fryer schnitzel. It was dry and tasteless. The champion sauce was obviously thickened with a lot of flour and only a little cream. Only the champions were fresh and tasted good. When asked how it tasted, we pointed out the aforementioned criticisms in detail. Answer from the owner: I'll pass this on to the kitchen and the next time we come it will definitely taste better. After the meal we understood why there were almost no guests in the restaurant. We will definitely not visit this restaurant again, which I'm sure many others won't do either.

Stopped here again after a hike after a long time. Ambiance and service absolutely fine and recommended! We didn't have to wait much and the food was served at the same time. However, I have to deduct a star for the food. The somewhat small “schnitzels” had a lot of dark meat and there could have been more mushrooms. It was more of a cream sauce instead of a mushroom cream sauce. This one was delicious though! The side salad was also very tasty and so were the steakhouse fries.

It was just bad. The temporary workers are catastrophic! Table numbers are a disaster and the wrong food and drinks were constantly coming. Everything took a long time, there were all the service staff behind the counter and we just got our tickets ourselves. Only the lady with the curls was nice. The food was frozen & the sauce was definitely from a packet. No, it wasn't busy...we won't be back! We came especially from Heidelberg, of course also because of the wildlife park!

Tasty food. Only the children received sparkling apple juice. Husband ordered apple juice. Not with a shot. That was reported later. Suggestion? Offer a sauce with the "normal" schnitsel menu. (I don't like mushrooms) Those were the only 2 tips. Tip: There is a playground and toilets. You can also go into the forest! There are also animals somewhere in the forest. We had planned an evening hike on a Friday with friends to Wildparkalm to get something to eat. We arrived at 8:15 p.m. in the evening, unfortunately the kitchen was already closed at 8 p.m. After two beers we continued hiking to get something to eat that evening (it worked too 😀)

Beautifully located next to the playground at the wildlife park, therefore chosen for visits with children. Unfortunately there is space in the winter garden without direct access to the playground. Ambiance in the winter garden is expandable - various tables randomly thrown together - one with a large burn mark - should be replaced.

We have already been there twice on Mother's Day and Easter, the buffet was very tasty with a wide variety of dishes. The service is great 😃

It all started with a freshly tapped beer... and then the world's best chicken wings were served. We promptly decided to come back for dinner the same day. And again we were spoiled. The food was simply unbeatable. The ambience was great and the service was great. We felt very comfortable. And the beer... right temperature, right amount of carbonation... simply brilliant. Simply the best restaurant in the area in terms of value for money.

Eating reasonably. People are constantly asking if you would like anything else. The fries were still raw inside and were fried again until they arrived, and the chicken was almost eaten. A friend of mine went to the toilet with me and went all the way down the stairs. When we came back we told the boss. Her answer was sit down on the chair. Nothing else. We had to call 4 times so that we could pay because we had to go to the hospital with our friend! The boss came and said when she was collecting the money that it was fine. !!!! She then wanted a tip. We were there regularly but can no longer be recommended. Unfortunately.!!!!!!

Lunch on a Saturday, with reservation, 6 adults and 4 children: Only 3 or 4 tables were occupied. We were supposed to order drinks first, even though we weren't even seated yet and hadn't received any food/drink menus yet. The orders came uncoordinated, first salad, then the starter soups, with the main courses in between. The 2 youngest children received their food last. The quality of the food had deteriorated compared to our last visit: the currywurst was a completely different, not so spicy sausage, the ox cheeks with potato and celery puree: taste of mashed potatoes from the packet, without celery, meat in ready-made sauce, for almost 20 euros. The coconut chili soup was very thin and too sweet. So overall too expensive and inadequate service. Oh, and unfortunately there is no barrier-free toilet.

Great ambience with a beautifully furnished "Alm", i.e. lots of wood, tiled stove. Very comfortable and lots of space. You can stay well with your family and children. Without asking, there are painting supplies for the little ones, great. Unfortunately, some of the food is just okay... In my opinion, the schnitzel is frozen and the sauces come from a powder pack. There are many alternative dishes (e.g. vegetable curry) that look better. Everyone in the family finds something to eat and gets full. Seen like that, everything is fine.

Rundum zufrieden! Wir waren mit 8 Personen dort, alle Gerichte waren total lecker- die Portionen wirklich ausreichend. Das Ambiente und der Service lassen keine Wünsche offen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
