Sehr gutes Wirtshaus, welches bekannt ist. Hier kriegt man nämlich noch diverses an Essen für einen sehr anständigen Preis. Damit meine ich, dass man ungefähr um die 8 € bezahlt für das eine Essen. Und vielleicht ein bisschen mehr oder weniger für das ein oder andere, was sie sonst noch anbieten können. Man muss allerdings damit rechnen, dass manchmal viel Andrang von Leuten sein kann, die Zahl an Tischen begrenzt ist und es daher voll werden kann. Die Atmosphäre des Wirtshauses ist allerdings sehr familiär, sodass es auch überhaupt kein Problem ist, wenn man sich auch bei fremden Leuten an den Tisch sitzt, wenn man natürlich vorher fragt. Dann kommt man vielleicht kurz ins Gespräch und jeder macht ansonsten seins.

Leider wegen Überfüllung nix geworden mit dem Biergarten

Eigentlich ein sehr schöner Biergarten mit angenehmer Atmosphäre, in den ich gerne gehe. Diesmal habe ich zum ersten Mal die Gulaschsuppe probiert. Geschmacklich war sie wirklich gut, allerdings war es eher eine reine Suppe als eine Gulaschsuppe – nur zwei winzige Fleischstückchen, keine Kartoffeln, kein Paprika oder andere Einlage. Für den Preis hätte ich mir deutlich mehr Inhalt und eine etwas „herzhaftere“ Gulaschsuppe erwartet. War etwas enttäuscht.

Schöner Biergarten mit fränkischer Küche.

Telefonisch vorbestellt zum abholen, als wir das Essen abholen wollte, hatte die unfreundliche Chefin der Gastwirtschaft uns gesagt, dass eine Wandergruppe gekommen ist und es jetzt nichts mehr gibt. Ganz schwach, ganz unfreundlich. Nie wieder.

Sehr schöne Gaststätte in schöner Lage bei der alles stimmig ist.

A small but charming pub with its own brewery and a limited menu. We've always enjoyed the sausages, whether pickled or fried, the head cheese, and the snacks. We haven't yet tried the shashlik on Fridays. The beer garden is lovely, surrounding the entire building. The dark lager is mild and flavorful, just as a Franconian lager should be. We enjoy coming here any time of year.

The service is warm and kind. It offers a balanced relationship between quality and price in a relaxed atmosphere. It worth to stop to chill a bit and recover energy.

Highly recommended! It was a trip back to my youth! It's still the same as back then! Back to the roots! Quaint and authentic! Beer garden, self-service! Today, everything was very fast-paced, hardly any business! Due to our motorcycle tour, we didn't try the current quality of the beer, which was a cult classic back home when we were younger. Absolutely reasonable value for money. Today we tried the cheese platter and white pressed sack beer, and we'd be happy to go again.

Based on the positive reviews, we decided to take a short break during the long drive and experience some regional cuisine. We were disappointed. The beer was very tasty and highly recommended. The rest, unfortunately, was not. The goulash soup was absolutely not good value for money. The service was actually terrible. Food and drinks are ordered and billed separately at a bar. We have a different idea of a pub. A snack bar would be more appropriate!

Yes! Delicious hot and cold snacks, a lovely self-service beer garden, and plenty of room inside (with waitress service), all at moderate Franconian prices.

A definite recommendation for all lovers of Franconian hospitality! Delicious beer and homemade food in a cozy atmosphere. Prices are fair, and it's self-service, but that doesn't bother you at all.

The food is delicious but please the bread 🍞 I think it's too thickly sliced, whether for obatzter or for other things, I noticed that other guests didn't like it either, a bread cutting machine would be installed here. There is no service here, that's a known fact, but the ladies at the bar could be more motivated, otherwise everything is pallet

Beautiful brewery with its own beer and beer garden. There is simple food (bratwursts, snacks) that is delicious. The beer garden is self-service. If you don't come from the area anyway, it's worth taking the nearby Trockau motorway exit and taking a break here.

Good inn with a very nice beer garden where you can end the day comfortably on summer evenings. The food is very good and the prices are still decent. Whether after work or after a hiking trip to Franconian Switzerland, a visit is always worth it. However, if you come with several people, you often have to expect waiting times.

Für einem Zwischenstopp hier in Weiglathal kurz Brotzeit gemacht. Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung. Gutes Bier und guter Wurstsalat. Liegt an einem Bier-Wanderweg und in Sichtweite zur A9. Nach dem Verzehr ging's weiter auf den Wanderweg. Schöner Biergarten.

Service kann man nicht bewerten, im Biergarten ist Selbstbedienung. Die Bratwurst hat leider nach nichts geschmeckt, fehlende Gewürze 🙄

Ein toller Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Wanderungen oder Radtouren mit anschließender Einkehr zum Essen und Trinken. Brotzeit en und Bier sind gut, Achtung Selbstbedienung!

Herrlicher fränkischer Biergarten unter großen Linden im Schatten. Die BAB-Ausfahrt Trockau auf der A9 ist zwischenzeitlich ein Ritual, um sich hier an einer deftigen Brotzeit und köstlichem Bier zu stärken. Parkplätze gibt es genug und einen Spielplatz für die Kleinen. Bei schlechtem Wetter und Sonntags gibt es.dann auch die berühmten Klös und Schweinsbraten.

Sehr gutes dunkles Bier. Bekommt man auch im 0,25 Liter Krug. Ist man auf der A9 unterwegs, dann Ausfahrt Trockau und weiter Richtung Norden.
