Wirtshaus Leiberheim in Neubiberg

I have been there many times as a single guest and have always been very satisfied. Last weekend we held a larger event for the first time with 25 participants from all over Germany and it worked just as well as usual and the menu created especially for us was great. We had a good comparison because we were with the same company at the Wirtshaus am Bavariapark the day before and at the Hofbräuhaus the day before. The Leiberheim was miles ahead in every discipline and offered a perfect mix of professionalism and Bavarian cosiness. The farmer's duck is, as always, a dream.

Unfortunately the food is no longer good. Served very carelessly. Similar situation in the beer garden. The beer glasses suffer from glass corrosion. Label washed out. Toilet area not of hygienic standard.

Yesterday we were in Leiberheim again after several years to give the store a chance, see if the food had at least gotten better in the restaurant and to get rid of a voucher. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the menu because the prices on the internet were not updated. I chose a beef roulade for just under €20. Portions are something for pensioners, as is the atmosphere there. Red cabbage tasted like gingerbread and the sauce was from a game dish. The food was lukewarm to cold. The roast pork was just as tasty in terms of taste. We couldn't finish the dishes because they just didn't taste good. When we complained we were not taken seriously and our taste was questioned. We still had to pay the full price for bad food and were asked out. The toilets stink and the basic cleanliness in the restaurant has apparently been neglected for some time. Child-friendliness…zero. They are ignored by the staff. Apart from the beer garden food, the entire restaurant is still a disaster and cannot be recommended. Expensive, bad food and rude staff as well as the inability to criticize the boss and her employees! We won't be coming back! Update from 10/17/24: For the last 10 years I have served on the board of a large Waldperlach association. We had several events in the Leiberheim, one of them with around 200 - 300 people. At these events, too, there were always intolerable circumstances and conditions. This assessment is not based on just one incident. It is absolutely unprofessional of you, Mr. Engl, and shows very questionable business practices to blame the customer, your employees or the economic conditions for every bad review. The customer cannot be responsible if you don't deliver and the food doesn't taste good. It's a shame that you don't use criticism as an opportunity for internal improvements.

I noticed the scene as described by Johannes Niedermaier (see review before me). That's why I'm doing this review now. The behavior of the service staff was impossible! The boss himself didn't show up, even though he was there. Now Johannes Niedermaier's contribution is being portrayed as a recession parasite and a house ban has even been issued. That's awesome! Just because other guests didn't complain about the same dish doesn't mean it was good. If you see such a scene in the restaurant and don't want to let it ruin your evening, you don't complain anymore!! Overall, no dish was able to convince us! If you now look at the other reviews regarding the food in the restaurant, we should have been prepared that it wouldn't be tasty. The only option for us in the future is a visit to the beer garden, as it is really nice and you can bring your own food!! We won't eat here anymore!

Unfortunately, I had to realize that the Leiberheim has no longer been acceptable for several years! Food cold and doesn't taste good. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and apart from the impossible staff and the uncritical and unprofessional boss, I unfortunately can't say anything positive about this restaurant! Words are twisted in your mouth when you express criticism, which is our right because the prices for such poor service and such poor food are not justified! We're not coming anymore and we'll keep it that way!

Food is as good as most traditional bavarian restaurants, but the beer is unbelievable. And you can't beat the beer garden during summer.

Good Bavarian food. The portions are plentiful and nicely prepared. We had 1/2 knuckle and roast pork and were very satisfied. The prices on the menu are not too high. Rather normal and appropriate, which unfortunately is no longer the case everywhere today. We paid around €25 per person including drinks. The service and the boss are also very friendly. We were there during the week and got a place even without a reservation. Things certainly look different in summer. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it.

Traditional beer garden in Munich. Located on the outskirts of the city, almost in a park area. Pros: There is a good, fenced children's playground on the premises, huge umbrellas (in case of rain), many tables, parking. If you do not have a car: 5 minutes walk from public transport. Food: Knuckle, cutlets, chicken, sausages, French fries, jacket potatoes with sauce, salads and other dishes, soft drinks, a small selection of wines, beer. You can also bring your own groceries. I liked the atmosphere of the place. Quiet enough for a beer garden. I recommend stopping by for a drink and a glass of dark beer)

Very nice, large beer garden with a large children's playground. Therefore ideal for families. There is the usual beer garden offering from chicken to ribs and pretzels, but at reasonable prices and of good quality. Often quite crowded on weekend evenings, but still a relaxed atmosphere. Every year the Leiberheim beer garden gets a chance, but it is reliably gathered. The food was bland and tasteless, you even had to wait for fries. How can you not have them ready in the evening with huge crowds in a week that is consistently hot. Then they are not even crispy but soft and sometimes not cooked. Staff at most moderately friendly. To save one's honor, it has to be said that it hardly differs from other beer gardens in Munich.

Steckerlfisch was bad/smelled. We got the money back, but we've already eaten two bites. Chicken wings dry and a bit dark... The rest is fine, nice beer garden, good beer. It's better to take your own food with you ;)

Unfortunately, the food sold in the beer garden cannot be recommended at all! Spinach dumplings totally mushy and tasteless "decorated" with old and dry arugula. Suckling pig had been in the oven for too long and was dry and very, very salty, and the dumpling was only just OK. The quality of the food really needs to be improved significantly, then the beer garden would actually have potential. Not too crowded on Friday evening with actually a nice atmosphere...

We decided on a suckling pig brawn with fried potatoes and we really enjoyed it. The service is good but you have to wait a long time. As with many, there is a shortage of staff here.

Visited Leiberheim recently with a few colleagues. You hear quite different statements here and, especially due to changes in tenants, staff shortages, etc., you can spend your time here relatively well. However, with a few caveats to think about. In any case, there is potential for optimization. Some of the food at the counter seemed okay. But with the pork knuckle, which was already quite small and shriveled up, as was the half chicken, you could imagine that it had been there for some time. There was only one cook who tried his best to handle everyone, but he also reached his limits. In terms of taste, the half chicken for just under €10 was not only expensive, but the quality was exactly what it looked like. It's probably been there all day... no recommendation at this point. The only other thing that was okay were the fries…. Cook's waiting time due to overload - incredibly slow. Otherwise it was simply not affordable in terms of price. Relative to the quality and conditions, there is definitely potential for optimization here! Things were once significantly different, because the Leiberheim was always known for quality and enjoyed a good reputation. It's a shame that you're putting that at risk! The clientele is mostly over 60. Somehow apt for the previously mentioned vulnerabilities. The beer and all other drinks are also a bit too expensive. The prices here have certainly been taken over from the old days, when the Leiberheim was in its heyday... At least that's how it seems. A pity. There is a parking lot right next door and the beer garden is relatively large and spacious. Children can play in the small playground. There is also the opportunity to eat inside and parties can also be organized. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a glimpse of the quality to give an idea of ​​it. I come back occasionally to point out changes in circumstances. However, I won't eat anything there for the time being.

Early dinner at 5 p.m. Despite the almost empty terrace, the waiter didn't notice me for 5 minutes, but it's not that bad. Was served by two waiters, both very friendly. It's a shame that the roast pork didn't convince me. I thought the crust was good, I also liked the dumplings, but unfortunately the meat was too chewy, i.e. a lot to chew. Plus half of it was fat and I couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, the sauce was also quite unremarkable. I liked the yoghurt dressing from the side salad, but I found the price at €5.10 too high for the small salad. Music was playing in the background, I think adapted to the older audience/seniors, German Schlager radio.

Unfortunately I didn't have much time; But I will definitely come back because I am very curious about the “Erhartinger beer”.

Restaurant bezoek Wirtshaus Leiberheim. Dit restaurant heeft een duitse keuken en is samen gelegen met een grote biergarten. Voor een keer in de zoveel tijd is dit een goede plaats om van de typsische duitse keuken te genieten. Voor mijn gevoel wat aan de dure kant. Er zijn gerechten te verkrijgen als schnitzels en halve haantjes maar ook iets meer gesofisticeerdere produkten uit de duitse keuken. Salades en bijvoorbeeld bratkartoffelen zijn apart bij te bestellen al komt er ook wat mee met het gerecht. Zij hebben lekkere ijsjes. Het personeel is vriendelijk tot afgemeten afhankelijk van wie er aan je tafel helpt. Ik zou zeggen voor een keertje doen maar houd rekening met een naar verhouding pittig prijskaartje.

A no-frills, honest beer garden with delicious beer and prepared food. Self-service, but a good clearing service. The local Helle is nice and tasty and fully fermented. So no daisy taste, unfortunately we often get it from smaller breweries. The atmosphere is chilled and calm, without any unpleasant rowdies. We felt very comfortable.

Were in the hall. Musty, not ventilated enough. Tablecloth felt clammy. Food expandable. Fried potatoes were good, the brawn was not seasoned enough.

We've been going here for many years, but we've always brought our own lunch because the food wasn't that good. But in the last few weeks we have been there with the whole family and have repeatedly tried out different dishes such as the roast pork, the pork knuckle, the fried chicken, the spare ribs (which are weighed and you can measure the portion yourself), the fries and also cold dishes. They try very hard to please people and we now really enjoy eating here. It's a very nice beer garden with a great playground.

The Leiberheim beer garden is without a doubt one of the most beautiful in the Munich area. I've only had good food so far and the beer is delicious. If you want, you can also bring your own snack here - it's still a real Bavarian beer garden. The staff is friendly and the beer is nice and cold - all at reasonable prices. If you want to have a really nice day, you're in good hands here. What more could you want?

Were in the beer garden - hardly any choice of food and the beer prices make you think about even bringing the beer here - such a shame - beer gardens are for a public that has a small wallet but they don't want to hear about that anymore. And always these justifications that no staff can be found anymore!!!

Roast pork with dumplings was anything but tender and the dumplings were tasteless. Overall a 3-. The fact that the deep plate would be better suited for soup is perhaps a matter of opinion. The specially ordered mixed salad was okay 3+. Service was slightly overwhelmed.

I had dinner here. I really have to say, I have visited and rated many pubs. BUT this one is outrageously bad, it just tastes overcooked, roast pork comes without mustard, the dumplings taste like nothing (or watered down). The staff is not good and runs around the room with dishes that have been ordered reoriented. When I asked the staff if I could please get mustard as it is common with roast pork. It took a good 15 minutes until I got it. If you want to visit a pub and just want “enough good food” you are in the wrong place here. Even the next Mc Donals is a better solution, even if Mc Donals is not a pub. When I looked at the expiry date on the mustard packaging, it had already expired for over 2 months. Conclusion: The food is inedible and the staff is not actively involved. Absolutely not recommended.

The first time I didn't finish a roast pork because it was too tough and too fatty for me. The dumplings didn't convince me either. The coleslaw was good, but the “Krusterl” that was ultimately returned was of strange origin. The other dishes I saw out there didn't really make me jealous. The guests are mostly seniors, who certainly find the ambience very nice and are happy about the decoration. Conclusion: I don't come here anymore, except maybe in the summer when you can go outside to the beer garden.

The theater was really great. The rest is unfortunately borderline. We were served quickly and the drinks came quickly. An extra request for soup was also taken into account. We had 5 different dishes and none of them were convincing, but we were most shocked by the herb baguette with the salad for €4.40. 3 small slices of baguette with green herb pesto served in a silver bowl that was actually a small pan (grip holes on both sides), my husband felt like he was eating out of a dog trough. And for this proud price! Unfortunately, price-performance doesn't match at all. It's also a shame that the menu on site is different than online, but you can order all dishes from both menus. The waitresses tried very hard, sometimes a bit clumsy. It's a real shame that the quality of the place isn't convincing, because the theater was great. If at all, we'll only come back for the theater.

We went to the theater, it was great!!!! But the body home, for God's sake...... Hall dirty, big cobwebs in the corner. Toilets dirty, floor sticky. When the process started, very, very cold air came directly onto the legs, so that several guests had their jackets over their legs. The untrained operators were completely overwhelmed, and that's not possible either. In my opinion, the theater should urgently look for a new location.

Mein Sohn und ich sind Stammkunden hier, uns gefällt das familiäre Ambiente. Bei stresssituationen wie Theater o.ä fehlen Kräfte die der Lage nicht her werden. Super schade, da ich ich einen angemessenen Service erwarte. Ich komme dennoch gerne her weil ich das auch unterstütze und die Gegebenheiten hier schätze.

Schöner Biergarten und tolles Lokal, schön auch für Veranstaltungen! Unkompliziert und der Vierbeiner darf auch mit rein! Es gibt einen Spielplatz und der Service ist sehr freundlich

Although I am unfamiliar with the german language and needed to translate the menu, the waitress was kind and patient. She assisted our party in reading the menu and helped make recommendations, and described the food for us. The food came quick, wasn't expensive, and was very tasty and filling. They have a nice outdoor seating arrangement along with indoor options. They have a wide variety of food and drinks. From vegetarian options to dumplings, smoked pork, venison, and stake just to name some. This place serves authentic German food and I will definitely be going again. 10/10

Zum Geburtstag meines Mannes; hatte ich einen Tisch suf der Terrasse bestellt. Es war festlich eingedeckt.sogar mit Stofftischdecken. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und das Dessert Apfelkücherl ist außergewöhnlich gut. Wirklich selbstgemacht und nicht Tiefkühltruhe. Fie Karte ist klein aber absolut ausreichend. Wie überall; Personalprobleme. Wir waren bereits einmal im Biergarten; der schön ist und vorallem für Familien mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. Ein schöner grosser Spielplatz. Jetzt am Sonntag haben wir einen Tisch zum Kirchweihessen bestellt. Das Essen ist gut; die Preise fair; das Personal freundlich nur zu wenig. Eine Wartezeit ist somit gegeben. Ein grosser Parkplatz rundet das Angebot ab. Wir kommen wieder

Ich bewerte nur den Biergarten, weil ich das Restaurant schon einige Jahre nicht mehr besucht habe. Sehr schöne, typisch bayerische Atmosphäre. Der Service ist der Aufgabe gewachsen, es gibt typisch Biergarten Gerichte, nur die Biere könnten von besserer Qualität sein. Summa Summarum: auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Netter großer Biergarten. Hier findet jeder sein schönes schattiges Plätzchen. Das Angebot heute Spanferkel mit Knödel in Dunkelbiersoße ist bayrisch rustikal und lecker.

Urgemütlicher Biergarten mit typisch bayerischen Essen

Super schöner Biergarten, Essen unter aller Kanone. Tiefkühlschitzel vor den Augen der Gäste in die Friteuse ist wohl inzwischen überall Standard, aber irgendwie befremdlich wenn man danach €11 bezahlt.

Ich bin hier während meiner Studienzeit sehr gerne her gekommen, aber seit ein paar Jahren ist der Biergarten echt runter gekommen. Das Bier schmeckt furchtbar und das Essen ist auch nix mehr. Sehr sehr Schade, weil der Biergarten an sich echt schön ist.

Biergarten ist eine gemütliches Fleckchen. Preis Leistung ist auch noch im Rahmen. Auch wenn vielen das Bargeld heilig ist, kann ich mir vorstellen das Kartenzahlung im Biergarten auch nicht fehlen sollte.

Sehr schöner Biergarten, großzügig angelegt. Vom Ambiente her wirklich toll, lädt zum längeren verweilen ein. Bierbänke und Tische sauber, teilweise Bierbänke sogar mit Lehne, reichlich Sonnenschirme. . Empfehlenswert wenn man sein Essen selbst mitbringt. Das Bier ist Geschmackssache, und hat es nicht so geschmeckt. Der Steckerlfisch wurde als frisch von Grill angepriesen, kam aber in Alufolie aus dem Warmhalteschrank und war geschmacklich eine Enttäuschung. Portion Obatzda auch recht teuer, etwas unterwürzt., Die Brezen dafür frisch und lecker. Fazit: selbst versorgen und Getränke dort kaufen ist sicher OK, aber wenn man dort essen will, dann besser woanders.

Also ich mag das Wirtshaus sowohl auch den Biergarten. Wir waren letztes Jahr im November das erste Mal da und waren sehr begeistert, weil die so kinderfreundlich waren. Unsere Tochter hat Stifte und etwas zum Malen bekommen. Für uns Eltern war das richtig angenehm. Kind war beschäftigt und wir hatten etwas Ruhe beim Essen. Seitdem gehen wir gerne hierher. Der große Parkplatz, der nicht so überlaufene Biergarten inkl. Spielplatz (mit Karussell und Autos) sind für uns mit Kinder ein großer Grund immer wieder zu kommen. Wir lieben es hier. Und der Zwiebelrostbraten, einfach lecker 😋

Sehr schöner traditioneller Biergarten. Das Essen war super lecker und preiswert. Der Spielplatz sorgt für die Beschäftigung der kleinen und es ist reichlich Platz vorhanden. Sehr gerne wieder und vielen Dank für einen so tollen Ort den es leider in Norddeutschland so nicht gibt.

You come here for the atmosphere, the nice location, and the drinks. The food is absolutely below average even if compared only to beer gardens.

Für ein Sommerfest mit über 50 Gästen wurden wir mit vielen Detail-Vorschlägen bereits bei der Vorbereitung sehr gut beraten. Wir konnten sowohl die (überdachte) Veranda als auch den Saal exklusiv nutzen. Trotz Rekord-Temperaturen war der Service äußerst gastfreundlich und flexibel. Für zusätzliche, unerwartete Gäste wurde extra ein weiterer Tisch eingedeckt. Das Vorspeisen-Buffet wurde immer wieder ergänzt. Die von uns ausgewählten Menüvarianten (vegetarisch, Fisch oder Fleisch) haben allen Gästen sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Saal eignet sich sehr gut auch zum Tanzen. Die Abrechnung war absolut fair.

Tolle Location, super für einen schönen Biergarten Ausflug mit Freunden und sehr Kinderfreundlich. Wir haben vorab reserviert und Brotzeit Brettl bestellt. Lief reibungslos und war sehr lecker!

Ewig auf die Getränke gewartet. Die beiden vom Ausschank hatten min. 5 Schlaftabletten genommen. Gleiches gilt für das Essen. Wir haben 28 Minuten auf Pommes mit Nuggets gewartet. Alle Kunden waren genervt. Unprofessionell vom Personal. Hab ich noch nicht erlebt sowas. War da heute das letzte Mal.

Sehr schöner Biergarten.Leider konnte ich ihn in diesem Jahr nicht so oft nutzen wie gewollt(Wetter war schlecht) Also rein ins Restaurant,wurde sofort nett empfangen.Mene halbe Erhardinger stand ruckzuck vor mir,das rEssen nach Bestellung 15 min. Sehr lecker

Das angebotene Essen im Biergarten ist schlichtweg eine Katastrophe. Ein Blick in die Toilette reicht und man bekommt einen Eindruck wie der Biergarten geführt wird. Schade eigentlich, er könnte so schön sein.

Il ristorante dispone di un grande parcheggio e di un enorme Biergarten, ben tenuto. All'interno si respira e si evidenzia la tipica atmosfera bavarese...di paese, con moltitudine di piatti e portate autoctoni. Ottima qualità del cibo, servizio eccellente, pulizia e ordine più che buoni.

Ich habe bereits meine Hochzeit im Leiberheim gefeiert und alle Gäste waren begeistert seitdem gehen wir regelmäßig entweder ins Lokal oder in den Biergarten das Essen ist sehr gut der Service hervoragend. Wir gehen nächsten Monate wieder hin dann feiern wir wie jedes Jahr im kleinen Kreis Geburtstag und jeder freut sich schon auf das tolle Essen und besonders auf die Apfelkücherl.
