Today, after a long time, back in the cozy beer garden with big trees. We really like it here, lots of greenery, dragonflies buzzing around... Fast service, calm demeanor and very friendly. We ate the Kreuzschänkenschnitzel, very tasty and huge. The new tenants Katja and Gregor have preserved the old one and added new things without changing the old charm. We can only recommend the Kreuzschänke and we will come.

A fantastic beer garden to linger and eat delicious food... for me it's the top 1 in Regensburg. The service was super-friendly and the best thing about it all was that I asked the boss in advance by email whether the schnitzels were also available gluten-free...what a challenge and Gregor accepted the challenge with all the meticulous challenges. My gluten-free schnitzel made no difference in appearance or taste, fantastic. Thank you very much for that. We'll be back.

Grandiose pub garden, with beer garden charm. It's nice and shady outside, just right for hot summer days. But not cold even in late autumn. It's also very cozy inside the living room. Mostly local Regensburg residents come here. The schnitzels are excellent. The normal portion is already large. And the portion is really big, would be enough for two people. There are also a few other delicious dishes on the menu. There are probably the best schnitzels in Regensburg here

Tip for 2 people: Order a large schnitzel with a robber plate.

As locals, we have experienced this wonderful spot of beer garden under various tenants. The dining room is also very cozy. You really know what it takes: a relaxed, well-kept atmosphere and friendly people who can and really provide attentive service without any intrusiveness delicious meals for every taste. The "Kreuzschänkenschnitzel", which has been famous for decades, has been retained, as well as delicious salads and a nice selection of vegetarian dishes, e.g. B. the spinach and ricotta lasagne, as well as a very good selection of beautiful desserts and drinks. All at acceptable prices. What more could you want? We felt very comfortable and would love to come back :-)

We had the sausage salad, which we can definitely recommend. The schnitzels are definitely recommended anyway. The waitresses are, as it says on the board, really friendly and in a good mood. 👍🏼 Bring money with you, like everywhere else.

We found out about the restaurant as a tip on the city tour and so we went there for dinner. Unfortunately, since we hadn't made a reservation, it was difficult for the four of us in the garden. As an exception, we were still given the opportunity to sit in the dining room. We ordered schnitzel, cheese sparrows and sliced ​​meat and were more than thrilled with the quality and portions. Very friendly staff, excellent food and even though the beer garden was packed, we didn't have to wait long for the food, even though we had time. This is how “Wirtshaus” has to be - Bavarian from A to Z :) The food was super sumptuous and simply delicious, the price was right, there were no staff and nice people. Beer garden or outdoor area lovingly furnished just like "inside" - hidden everywhere here and there a kloans liabs Eps :) I hope it stays with us for a long time - bravo!

It's a shame that you can't reach anyone by phone to make a reservation, first you get the announcement that you can reserve from 4:30 p.m. and then only the mailbox is answered. It's a real shame but obviously you don't need any more new customers!

A wonderful mix of old houses and nature. For me, this beer garden is by far the most beautiful in Regensburg. It's not a typical tourist bar, but rather hidden away. The interiors are also very attractively designed. food and drinks The food is outstanding and the service is first class. Of course it is a beer garden or a tavern and not “fine dining”. The menu offers a small but fine selection of traditional Bavarian dishes. The food is excellent and the - very well souffléed - schnitzels are the best in Regensburg. There are many variations of schnitzel there and they are simply a “must”. If you order a large portion, you have to have a lot of appetite or hunger! The prices are very reasonable. service The service staff is very courteous, polite and professional. People are always asking whether everything fits. Drinks are served immediately – despite the full house. Experience has shown that the beer garden is very busy and we recommend that you go early or reserve in advance. We can only recommend this beer garden and will definitely come back. It's definitely worth going and trying it out.

Four of us were there at the weekend. After a long wait (despite reservations) we were seated. Two of us arrived later, so initially there were two of us sitting at the table assigned to us. We heard the employees in the background complaining to each other, which is why there were only two guests sitting at a large table. Shortly afterwards a lady came and asked us whether we chose the place ourselves or whether it was assigned to us. After we explained that two more people were coming, the issue was settled. Unfortunately, the service didn't get any better as the evening progressed. We had to wait a long time until our food was served. It happened several times that we were brought desserts and drinks (we didn't even have the main course) that we hadn't ordered and were actually for the neighboring table. We had to order the side dishes and drinks we ordered several times until they arrived at the table. The food and ambience were great, but a successful evening also requires good service

I was here for dinner with colleagues. The beer garden is very attractive. Here you will find a shady and quiet place in the middle of Regensburg. The menu is sufficiently full and the quality is very good. The service was very friendly and on point. All in all, it was a very successful evening.

By far the best schnitzel in the Upper Palatinate, wonderful atmosphere in the garden and good central location. Although the price is a little higher, it is justified by the quality of the meat. Beaten nice and thin and souffled. The lasagna, which is offered vegetarian, is also definitely worth ordering. Compared to other restaurants, here you get a tasty, crispy parmesan crust in the middle of the very fruity, slightly rosemary tomato sauce. Great harmony of spinach and ricotta. When it's busy you wait a little longer, and it was a good 10 minutes. However, if we had already been shown to the place beforehand, it wasn't a problem.

Was an incredible experience. We visited the inn because it has a reputation for making the best schnitzels in Regensburg. And what can you say, we all had different schnitzel variations and each one convinced us 110%. Add to this that if the menu says “large portion” then it really is a portion that will knock your socks off. In addition to the food, the service was simply perfect and even though the store was full, you felt welcome and served around the clock. The Ambiente is also a house number in itself and impresses with its own style, you have the option of finding a place outside as well as inside. In summary, the Kreuzschänke is definitely a tavern that should be on every to-do list of a tavern lover.

The Kreuzschänke has a very nice beer garden. There are large trees in it and it is surrounded by walls so wind is not a problem. This is particularly pleasant in cool temperatures.

Good traditional restaurant with various schnitzel specialties, with normal size or even (very) large portions for the really hungry. Inside is a bit cramped and loud. One point deducted is the music playing which makes it even louder. However, I'm looking forward to coming again but in the beer garden

Wonderful Bavarian cuisine without being boring and hackneyed. The Kreuzschänke combines a rustic ambience with home-style cuisine. We had the brewery goulash and the Woidler schnitzel in large. The portions are huge, the large schnitzel is REALLY only for the XXL hunger! The goulash was tender and fell apart in the mouth, the spaetzle was homemade and not a ready-made product, which you don't get very often anymore. The taste was excellent, the service was friendly, quick and not intrusive. Drink prices okay. A clear recommendation for lovers of down-to-earth but excellent cuisine!

Heute zur Neueröffnung mit neuen Pächtern hat es uns zur Kreuzschänke verschlagen. Konzept großes Schnitzel usw sind gleich geblieben. Ich hatte das normale Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat der einfach der Hammer war. Der Rest hatte den Klassiker mit Pommes. Was man unbedingt probieren muss, ist der Salat . Selten so ein gigantisches Dressing probiert, einfach zum dahin schmelzen. Als Nachtisch hatten wir noch eine Probierschale mit hausgemachten Obatzten . Ist für unseren nächsten Besuch unbedingt in normaler Portion am Schirm . Danke für den wunderschönen Abend Bis zum nächsten Mal

Für mich das beste Schnitzel in Regensburg 😊 aber auch alle anderen Gerichte sind super lecker. Ich liebe den Biergarten im Sommer und es lässt sich auch gut drinnen sitzen und essen. Die Bedienungen sind immer mega nett und aufmerksam. Gab für mich noch nie was zu beanstanden. Eine Barzahlung sehe ich, auch in der heutigen Zeit, absolut nicht als ein Problem. Macht weiter so 😊

Also ich muss sagen dass war buchstäblich das beste Schnitzel Cordon Bleu das ich jemals gegessen habe. Jeder Bissen war schlichtweg sehr gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und passte ideal zum Lokal. Die Größe der Portionen ist dem Preis angebracht. Dieses Wirtshaus im klassischen Stil ist zu Recht regelmäßig ausgebucht.

Herrlich schön gelegener und absolut gemütlicher Biergarten. Aber auch die urige Gaststübe lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Bedienungen sind auf Zack, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Parken direkt vor Ort ist schwierig. Reservierung ist sehr sinnvoll, vor allem am Wochenende ist hier ordentlich was los. Unbedingt ein Schnitzel probieren und dazu ein dunkles Bier vom Fass oder das süffige Kellerbier.

Sehr leckeres Schnitzel. Ambiente eher altmodisch. Ist aber passend. Allerdings nur Barzahlung möglich. Heutzutage ein No-Go. Zur Antwort des Inhabers: Die Ablehnung von Kartenzahlung ist selbstverständlich dem Inhaber überlassen, meiner Meinung nach jedoch nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Das Essen ist lecker. Ich kann aufgrund einer OP nur noch kleine Portionen essen. Normal bekomme ich überall den Kinderteller. Hier ist es aber nicht möglich. Habe dann nichts bestellt und bei meinen Begleitern mitgegessen aber ohne eigenen Teller. Der hätte was gekostet! War das letzte Mal, dass wir da hingehen! Antwort: Leider kann man nicht antworten. Ich habe es dem Ober, der uns bedient hat gesagt. Ich kann nur mehr 150g essen. Also ich habe es sehr wohl kommuniziert. Klar, ihr Lokal, ihre Regel. Deswegen kommen wir ja nicht mehr. Ihnen auch alles Gute!

Posso solo dire TUTTO ottimo, abbiamo mangiato le famose "orecchie di elefante", 3 porzioni normali a 16.50€ CAD, complete di contorno, la porzione large sarebbe costata 19.50€ CAD, ma la normale è già una super porzione, con 1/2 di acqua, 2 birre da 0,50 , 1 da 0,30 e tre coperti totale 65€.

Wer Schnitzel sucht und Hunger hat ist bei der Kreuzschänke an der richtigen Adresse. Das Große Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat oder Pommes ist nix für den Kleinen Hunger😎 das macht auf jedenfall satt. Geschmackvoll ist es obendrein.

Siamo arrivati alle 18:45, ci hanno detto che non avevano quasi più niente e che avrebbero chiuso alle 19. Immaginate dei turisti che non trovano più niente da mangiare, pazzesco. Ogni pezzo di pane che prendi sono 1,20 € in più. Ti chiudono gli ombrelloni addosso, da non tornarci assolutamente.

Ein wunderschöner Biergarten, den ich als Regensburger bisher nicht kannte (Schande!!!) Da mussten mich erst meine alten Schulfreunde Dieter, Josch und Egon hinführen. Das berühmte Schnitzel riesengroß, perfekt in der Pfanne gebraten, das Fleisch ganz dünn und butterweich, man glaubt tatsächlich, es wäre ein Kalbsschnitzel, die Panade locker und fluffig, so wie sie sein muss, wie man sie aber nur selten bis nie irgendwo bekommt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und der Wirt kommt immer wieder mal vorbei und erkundigt sich, ob alles passt. In der Kreuzschänke wird man mich in Zukunft öfter treffen.
