We spontaneously stopped at the Vaihinger Wirtshaus on our way home and really enjoyed it. The cheese spaetzle was fantastic, as was the salad. The Wirtshauspfanne (pan-fried dish) was also really good and very filling. The Kaiserschmarrn (smothered pancakes) was also delicious. Another plus point was that the staff were extremely accommodating and attentive to our dog. Overall, the service was very, very friendly and prompt. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely go back.

The beautiful furnishings, warm lighting, and lovingly crafted details in the decor make your stay a truly memorable experience. The fantastic team of waiters, who work together seamlessly, deserves special mention. Luka served us; he gave us excellent advice and was very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt very comfortable. The turkey salad was divine. The homemade garlic bread was world-class. It's a place where you'll want to linger for a while, enjoying the very, very good food and the company.

I’m a bit disappointed because in the English menu the title was “Crispy turkey salad” but I received grill turkey salad. You would normally expect some deep fried turkey pieces in breadcrumbs or corn flakes with salad, without potatoes and carrots. The description was accurate, tho. It said something like: salad, potato salad, carrots, turkey. So be careful when you order! Read everything and not just the title! Overall big portions so great value for the money.

Unexpectedly experienced the culinary delights of your tavern concept last Tuesday evening. I felt very comfortable immediately after entering. I can only recommend everyone to visit this fine place to stay. I'm completely happy 🤩 and walked out at the end of the evening with delicious food. We had the Wirtshauspfännle and the roast pork with bread dumplings and were thrilled. The food came to the table incredibly quickly and, above all, fresh – exactly what you wanted. The friendly handling of our special request was particularly commendable: a small portion of the roast pork was served without any problems and to our complete satisfaction. The atmosphere in the inn is cozy, the service is attentive and warm. We would definitely like to come back and can warmly recommend the Vaihinger Wirtshaus!

We’ve been here several times, the kitchen always delights with its dishes, the staff’s attitude, the atmosphere is always festive, lively, dynamic, we like it when in one place at the next table both elderly couples who came to eat deliciously and noisy groups of children coexist, it’s wonderful! Every time we were in the large hall, it was spacious and well decorated. We are satisfied and will gladly visit this place again when we are in the mood to taste traditional German dishes

The inn is easy to recommend. The four of us came to the inn without prior notice and it wasn't a problem. Maybe this was also the reason 🙃The welcome was very warm. We were brought to a table and given a menu straight away. After ordering, the drinks and food were delivered to us quite quickly. The food was just great and there was really nothing to complain about. If we are ever in the area again, the inn will be a crowd for us again.

We were totally thrilled, great portions, super tasty, everyone was really nice, they even helped on the street when our car lights failed. We'll be back!!!

Great service. When we were briefly informed that it was my wife's birthday today, we were immediately brought two Proseccos, and after our meal we were also offered two espressos on the house. Many other restaurants can learn a lesson here. Despite the full house, the staff is always friendly and attentive.

The cuisine is traditionally exceptional!! However, you need to have a B2 level to speak to the waiters 😅 and the wine is cut with sparkling water, fortunately I had rosé. I recommend!!

We were there as part of a workshop. Once with 7 people and the next evening with 38 people. Both times everything went great. The food was super tasty and the portions were more than sufficient and the "0.5l light" also went perfectly. The store was full both evenings but the service was perfect and you never had to wait long. I can definitely recommend the inn to everyone

Large restaurant that is busy even during the week. I like the food, but I don't like the beer. The prices are reasonable.

We were there twice with a larger group and absolutely loved it! Super friendly, fast service that responds to any special requests. Great, delicious food at more than fair prices. When a colleague of ours forgot her bag, the bag was even brought to the reception at the hotel around the corner. Today we had the Wirtshauspfännle. Very tasty, an all-round experience of Swabian cuisine. Rump steak, cheese spaetzle, roast pork and Maultaschen. Great combo.

The food tasted good and the price was reasonable for the large portion. We had the schnitzel with cheese spaetzle and would definitely have it again. Waiting time for food and drinks could be shorter, but it was still OK and it was a bit fuller. The only suggestion for improvement would be a wooden ceiling at the back of the extension or generally a little more wood so that the Alpine look is complete. It currently looks a bit unfinished. I'd love to come back.

Wir haben gestern Abend über einen Lieferdienst im DRIVE bestellt. Der bestellte Salat wurde nicht mitgeliefert. Einen kurzen Anruf später war das Problem behoben, und der sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter hat den Salat erneut geordert. Dieser wurde dann auch sehr schnell geliefert. Das nenne ich Kundenorientierung! Perfekt! Das Essen war frisch und lecker. Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall entweder wieder bestellen oder direkt hingehen.

I went to a Christmas party once and it was so delicious that I ordered something to take away again a few weeks later! Rodeo steak was very tender, the vegetables and the stuffed potato were also well cooked and dressed... The salad as a side salad is really just right! Everything fresh! Ambiance is a bit noisy if you're there on a busy evening...but the food is really great! I would love to come back and can only recommend it!

This was the most disgusting experience I’ve had for a long time. Not only was the table dirty but the benches with mysterious stains were wiped with a dirty rag. What I’m assuming was the manager was horrible. Asked for bill twice and he then gave some lame excuse as to why he forgot

The "Wintergarten" is a bit rustic, but the food is good and the service is friendly.

I've been there several times for my training in Vaihingen. But now as a vegan, you've simply lost. When asked whether the veggie burger could be made vegan, the answer was simply "There's nothing in it!" However, milk protein is shown. The tip was given incorrectly, which I only noticed later, so that a €9 tip was given for a €33 order. Everything was squeezed into the covered beer garden. What's left is the doubt about the burger, which really doesn't make you feel good. Everything is a no go for me these days.

We were there for my son's birthday party. Food selection is regional and sufficient - something for everyone, what you would expect here. The taste was perfect, the meat was cooked perfectly and the portions were very good. Everything was fine. Service was very attentive and our birthday child got a great dessert on the house. A lovely evening with my family.

Deux soirs à Stuttgart, deux soirs au même restaurant : Vaihinger wirtshaus - Wirtshaus Drive !!! Vous arrivez comme à la maison, les hôtes : une famille qui tient l'établissement ! Un accueil absolument pro, le premier soir : restaurant archi plein, on nous trouve une super table et passons un dîner au top dans une ambiance chaleureuse ! Nous y sommes retournés le deuxième soir et sommes accueillis toujours aussi bien, avec la joie de rencontrer le chef en personne (photo!!). Tous les plats sont délicieux : évidement prenez les escalopes panées et la salade qui accompagnent si vous le voulez, les plats, une salade de pommes de terre à tomber part terre !!!! Je recommande cet endroit si vous passez à Stuttgart ou si vous vivez à Stuttgart !!

Quite a nice mass operation, something like a Hofbräuhaus/beer tent atmosphere :) Nevertheless, exceptionally nice and quick service, home-style food and very good. Portions for the slim lady are generous and just enough for the hungry guy. Price level contemporary. Clean toilets and paper towels :) Recommended!!

The food was really delicious and the service was also very friendly. We sat on the covered terrace. It got very cold in the evening (end of September). The few heaters didn't help and when it's full it's very loud.

It was a great evening. The food was very, very good and typical regional cuisine. The ambience was great. We were lucky enough to be able to sit at the bar that evening, which was a highlight for our son. Even though the restaurant was full and everyone had a lot to do, the boss always made time for us. Many thanks to the whole team and we will definitely come back
