Wirtshaus-Drive in Stuttgart

The "Wintergarten" is a bit rustic, but the food is good and the service is friendly.

I've been there several times for my training in Vaihingen. But now as a vegan, you've simply lost. When asked whether the veggie burger could be made vegan, the answer was simply "There's nothing in it!" However, milk protein is shown. The tip was given incorrectly, which I only noticed later, so that a €9 tip was given for a €33 order. Everything was squeezed into the covered beer garden. What's left is the doubt about the burger, which really doesn't make you feel good. Everything is a no go for me these days.

We were there for my son's birthday party. Food selection is regional and sufficient - something for everyone, what you would expect here. The taste was perfect, the meat was cooked perfectly and the portions were very good. Everything was fine. Service was very attentive and our birthday child got a great dessert on the house. A lovely evening with my family.

We were very happy with the quality of the dishes! The two salads we ordered were large enough and the dressings were well balanced. The pizza rolls with garlic :-) hmmmmm delicious. Price/performance fits! The staff was nice and attentive. We'd love to come back

Quite a nice mass operation, something like a Hofbräuhaus/beer tent atmosphere :) Nevertheless, exceptionally nice and quick service, home-style food and very good. Portions for the slim lady are generous and just enough for the hungry guy. Price level contemporary. Clean toilets and paper towels :) Recommended!!

A pretty good restaurant with a lot of choice! We really enjoyed the food and the service was great. Only the benches in the covered beer garden are a bit uncomfortable. It's really worth it.

The food was really delicious and the service was also very friendly. We sat on the covered terrace. It got very cold in the evening (end of September). The few heaters didn't help and when it's full it's very loud.

It was a great evening. The food was very, very good and typical regional cuisine. The ambience was great. We were lucky enough to be able to sit at the bar that evening, which was a highlight for our son. Even though the restaurant was full and everyone had a lot to do, the boss always made time for us. Many thanks to the whole team and we will definitely come back

Top pub for a cozy evening with friends. Food is delicious and the portions are large. Classic home-style cuisine. The beer garden and restaurant are cozy and offer space in summer and winter. There are often super seasonal offers. Especially, for example, festival beer from a stein. The service is quick and always friendly.

Again we ate deliciously and had great service, despite the 20 people there were, thank you.

Wide variety of German/Schwabian specialties. It was good. My schnitzel was a little tough but flavorful. The kasaspaetzle was excellent. The roast feta with vegetables was good and the goulash soup was fine. We didn’t have a salad but they looked fantastic. The servers were friendly and professional. I would come again.

Not really a "One-Dollar sign" ($) etablishment, but good nonetheless. The food is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, the establishment is confortable, the wait staff helpful. It is a popular local destination. On a busy day, you may have a wait. Knowing this, I walked in carrying a drink (A Starbucks coffee cup) to have something to siip on while wauting, and was approached by my waiter who asjed me to drink it up and put it away before even taking my order. A typical meal I wouls say cost $$ two-dollar signs. The cost is definitely not fast-food prices. The food and beer are good. Be prepared fo wait if the place is packed.

I had a fantastic meal at this German restaurant. The beef broth with pancake strips was light yet flavorful, making for a perfect appetizer. The roast pork with noodles as the main dish was also very nice. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service added to the overall excellent experience.

What an amazing shop! Great food, great people, super relaxed atmosphere. I really enjoyed it here with a large group. Everyone was very attentive and accommodating!

Typical pub. Despite the stress, the staff were always friendly. I had the cheese spaetzle with fried onions. I have to say...Fabulous. Plus a side salad. I have to point out the dollop of potato salad that came with it. That was awesome. And above all, very good value for money.

We were here on a trade fair evening with the stand staff. Rustic atmosphere in the closed beer garden, homemade lemonades are offered and the selection of food and drinks is good, as is the price-performance ratio. I was completely satisfied, would eat here again at any time and can recommend it.

Ambiance outside like the Cannstatter wasen festival. Food one of the best we have ever eaten (tender meat and large portions). All 3 courses excellent Service friendly and accommodating. After a personal conversation with the managing director and the comment that the food was very, very good and that he was happy about it, we got coffee on the house. We'd love to come back. Dined outside in a typical setting with wooden tables and benches. The dish chosen is excellent and the beer you sip is a pleasure (in fact I drank 2!) Precise and attentive service.

Ate there a week ago. The service was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. My request to change the side dish was granted at the price of the higher priced menu. When whoever made a mistake with my order, I was given a salad on the house as a quick fix so that I could start eating at the same time as my counterpart. The corrected meal came after a short time. A great pub with an extensive food and drink menu. Our waiters were very friendly. The service was also really quick. The ambience is reminiscent of a cozy and well-kept inn. The tables were large and clean. Our meal was without a doubt terrific. We were impressed by both the quality and the portion size. We can recommend the Wiener Schnitzel with cheese spaetzle. ❤️

Over the top German comfort-food. Excellent taste and service. When you are here try the "maultasche", pasta and meat roll. It's simple jet genius. See u there.

We went there without a reservation and got a table straight away. The dining room is quaint, cozy, the beer garden also seemed very cozy (sat inside and only saw it briefly). The food was incredibly tasty and typically Swabian, the portions were very good (filling but not overeaten) and the price-performance ratio was good. My niece raved so enthusiastically about her schnitzel with fries to the waiter that she got a portion of chocolate ice cream on the house and we got a schnapps. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating, so we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Wiener Schnitzel was very good. I've had better Kässpätzle... I can't say anything about the other dishes. But visually they looked very good and plentiful.

A week ago I went to see a musical in Stuttgard with my girlfriend and then the crowning finale. When you walked into the inn you were greeted with a smile and treated to delicious food and drinks throughout the evening. Pure feeling of well-being and highly recommended. Highly recommended! The Wirthauspfanne was a large portion and tasted great. Service was also very courteous and personal. Despite the hot temperatures, it was very pleasant inside thanks to the air conditioning.

We stayed for one night in an accommodation in the immediate vicinity of Wirtshaus Drive, which was recommended to us for dinner. And rightly so. We were extremely satisfied, had a very, very tasty dinner, which was worth every cent in terms of size, taste and the accompanying service with absolute warmth and therefore a top price-performance ratio. We are thinking about making another stop for another delicious dinner on the return journey. We will definitely remember it and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

Very decent portions without compromising quality. Delicious beer, rustic and nice atmosphere, very, very nice service. At the end the boss chatted with us about football and gave us a drink on the house. Everything just fits here.

We had a small team meeting in the beer garden. The food is delicious, only the service employee answered the question about the sauce somewhat bluntly: "The colleague only has two hands" ... a "comes immediately" would have been more elegant. Recommended!

I can't say enough about the service here. After traveling for 12 hours we got on pretty late and went searching for anything that was open and had food. The hotel was not serving any longer. We showed up well after the closed the kitchen but the gentleman said he would see what he could do. He was able to get a few German Salads that were awesome.

Good inn with very good food. It's a shame that the drinks take so long, I could have drank two beers in that time. This was NOT due to the service (they asked several times).

After the Mercedes training, I looked for a restaurant and immediately found it here. The Vaihinger Wirtshaus immediately became our regular restaurant. Super nice staff with typical Swabian cuisine that is absolutely excellent. Great beer garden with a roof where you can always get a seat, clear 5 star recommendation.

You can eat very well here. The waitresses are very friendly. The ambience is great. I can only recommend this restaurant.

Fits everyone! Price performance food service and ambience. A meal was accidentally booked on the wrong table and arrived very late. The very friendly host came personally and apologized. Where else does something like this happen!!! If in doubt, the system is to blame for something like this. As a small consolation there was a delicious tiramisu. Great action! Gladly again!!!

Super Service. Got food quickly even though it was full. And super tasty with really large portions. I had the cheeseburger with fries. Colleague had pizza. 2 large 0.5 drinks each. Only recommended. Went to the course in Stuttgart. And that was rightly recommended to us. Top. Come back.

Typically Swabian and usually well-attended restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas. The service for me was attentive, quick and friendly. The food was tasty and good value for money. The menu offers many typical Swabian dishes.

Very nice and well-kept atmosphere with extremely friendly staff! The food was fantastic! For me there were the baked Maultaschen, which were really delicious! I was eating at the pub last Tuesday and a young waiter met me in a very positive and open manner. I remember his name was Luca. He recommended the Maultaschen to me and served us. This place doesn't accept credit cards. So when I came back after collecting cash from a nearby ATM, I asked if PayPal was available and Mr. Bar...i said it was possible. I prefer it, so I asked for payment through PayPal. But he refused to give me the receipt. I was on a business trip and needed the receipt. Then I requested to cancel the payment and said I would pay in cash, and he rudely asked me why I was paying with PayPal when I had money, but he didn't notify me in advance that he wouldn't give me the receipt, so I would like to tell you that I just chose my preferred payment method. Thank you for your nice intentions, which became unsatisfactory experience on my first day in Stuttgart.

As soon as I entered the room, I was greeted by flattering and salivating smells from the kitchen. The promising smell of the food was ultimately confirmed by the taste when it came into contact with my palate. I could cover this pub with endless praises, but I'll keep it short and describe my overall impression in three words: taste explosion, palate delight and unsurpassable. What particularly struck me was the extremely brilliant service provided by a young, blonde-haired, slightly smaller waiter, who I actually asked for his number because of his charismatic appearance. Unfortunately for me, this flawless diamond in the rough had a girlfriend. I will definitely visit this place again to turn my stomach into a wellness oasis and to be served again by the wonderful waiter and ask about his relationship status.
