A burger with plenty of crispy potato wedges and delicious sauces, meat juicy, medium. The coleslaw didn't really suit the taste. The Caesar salad, on the other hand, was great again.

Very clean, hospitable, the service was very attentive. Food prepared very appetizingly. The spareribs (castle bones) are amazing and the fries are fabulous. Always my pleasure!

We had the rustic burger and spare ribs. Both dishes were very good quality and sufficient in quantity, the prices were €2 higher than those on the online menu. We were kindly offered free drinks as compensation for the spare ribs that were delivered late. The service was friendly and quick.

Babysitter organized, get out and forget all the worries of the last few months by spending a nice evening for two - just do it! Unfortunately not in this restaurant! Before you even really arrived, you were asked what kind of drink you wanted, and you couldn't even look at the menu. “At least people seem to be working quickly here,” was the positive view of the lack of sensitivity. The picturesque terrace tempts you to have a cocktail, so we ordered two of them. These also came quickly, but in a broken glass and with insects in the strawberry cocktail. This can happen, we discreetly pointed it out because a cocktail was also ordered at the next table. “Where was that?” was the first reaction. Again I explained that those fruit flies or whatever that were fished out on the napkin were in my drink. "Sorry!" That seemed to be the end of everything. No one told me what to do next, nor was I asked during the rest of my stay whether I would like to drink something else. The full glass, with a chip on the edge of the glass, remained standing. Unfortunately, the porcelain both at our table and at the neighboring table has already suffered - pieces have broken off on the cutlery plates. Because only the steaks contain information about the quality and origin of the meat, I, who rarely but consciously eats meat, wanted to know whether this criterion applies to all meat dishes. Unfortunately the question was not understood, I asked it differently and the waiter asked in the kitchen (trained staff know what is being sold to the guests, but competence is difficult to find in the restaurant anyway). "What do you want to eat?" "I'll make that dependent on the answer. I want to know whether the meat generally comes from species-appropriate free-range farming (you can look at it however you want!), then I'll decide." "Yes, that's all." Is it possible to say what the guest wants to hear here? The question at least comes to mind after the previous conversation. Be that as it may, I dared to try. Unfortunately the animal died in vain! The meat on the skewer was so dry that you couldn't pull it down, cut it or tear it, the sausage came cold and moderately kissed from the grill (given the color, it was probably heated by a deep fryer or microwave) and the third piece was unfortunately also dry and barely seasoned , even the salsa sauce we ordered couldn't add to the culinary delights. The salad was drowned in a syrupy balsamic dressing with an unpleasant aftertaste (smoky), so unfortunately far too much went back on the plate. BUT the fries are really recommended! My wife liked the burger. We don't expect anything outstanding in a place like this, but you can at least expect a little and flawless (not free!) craftsmanship when you invest money in food and drinks abroad. The catering kitchens should be able to do it better than ours at home - why else would you “treat” yourself to something?! When asked if everything was okay, I was honest and mentioned the points listed here. The 2 cocktails were on the house as a courtesy. There is a shortage of staff everywhere, costs have risen (but also for paying guests, which makes you think twice about going out to eat and you end up being all the more disappointed when so many negative impressions overshadow the experience), etc., but ultimately you should Offer guests something nice, the hard work should be worth it! But the reason we're writing this review is due to the fact that we'll still be able to benefit from the visit for a long time, as we've been plagued by cramps ever since and have to visit the ceramics salon very often (for all those who need it to be put more clearly: we have since gastrointestinal problems after eating in the pub).

Unfortunately a very disappointing visit to the restaurant; The ambience outside was very nice, everything else was not. The online menu no longer matched the one on site (which we also told the on-site waitress, that should be updated), so the sauce that we were looking forward to was no longer available, and instead of mashed potatoes there were only fries and croquettes like in a (rather worse) chip shop. Unfortunately, the sauce for the schnitzel was too sour, like a ready-made sauce, as if it had a sting, the coleslaw seemed to have been served completely without salt, and the salad ordered with it was literally drowned in balsamic dressing and therefore actually inedible. You had to specifically ask for wet wipes to go with the spare ribs (!!!), which you actually add as a matter of course. The marinade on the spare ribs was fine.

If you have a large group, we had 28 people, absolutely fine. The interior is grand, but it may be due to the room where we sat, which is not very attractive if you want to have something to eat with just the two of you. Buuut, super service-oriented staff, food was very good and we didn't have to wait very long for it.

Highly recommended! We sat outside on the beautiful terrace overlooking the water and had super friendly and pleasant service. Food and drinks were picked up and served quickly. Our salad with salmon was super tasty, fresh and filling! It's always nice when you discover such great restaurants that also have excellent service! :)

It's a shame that the food has deteriorated so much. I always ate a fillet steak with croquettes here. For 250 grams 32.50 euros! I'm happy to pay if the meat is good. But it was there within 5 minutes and was so hard and stringy that you could hardly cut it! To make matters worse, the croquettes are salted - thick white layer on top! Then I was told that it would always be like that! FUNNY...I never tasted it! The salad, which is beautiful in itself, is then drowned in balsamic... well... Then the water is worth it! No matter, the store won't see me again!

On Saturday (March 2nd) we were in the small side room with 15 people. Service was quite decent, but there was still room for improvement. If there is a long row of tables, I don't stop at the end to ask 15 people for their orders 🫣🤷🏼‍♂️ The food was, for me, great. The burger is worth recommending. The price-performance feeling was very good 👍🏻 I think we would like to come back.

The service is great. The ambience seems very cozy What doesn't work at all is the schnitzel. When I order a schnitzel, I expect a real schnitzel and not pressed meat. I think you can also serve a real schnitzel for €16.

At first glance it looked very promising, but the schnitzels were inedible. At first it was raw, then so dry and the overall quality of the meat was not good. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good either; we were served quickly but no attention was paid to whether we wanted to reorder drinks. It's a shame but unfortunately my first and last visit.

By chance I ate there on the way back...it was really delicious. Everyone ordered something different and without exception, everything was simply delicious! The service was super friendly and, above all, child-friendly, nice atmosphere and you just felt comfortable! Gladly again!

The food was OK, but the service was very poor. The two ladies left a very arrogant and condescending impression. They only came to the table annoyed after the third request, even though our glasses and those of the neighboring tables had been empty for a long time. It was very clear that evening. They didn't seem stressed. They probably have no place in the catering industry.

We were very disappointed with our visit to the castle courtyard. The food was good, except for the bedside table, the warm chocolate cake was supposed to be served with vanilla ice cream, but it tasted like bubble gum ice cream. The service was unfriendly and dismissive. Unfortunately, we weren't able to order a second drink because the two waitresses didn't come to our table.

As a taxi driver, I only wanted to use the toilet for a short time and was treated like a completely drunk person and was refused to go to the toilet and was insulted in Greek

Sehr schönes offenes uriges Restaurant! Essen war hervorragend und der Service war trotz Feier von der Feuerwehr ( Weihnachtsfeier - komplett ausgebucht ) Als Vorspeise gab es Bruschetta, 2x Brezeln und Knoblauchbrot. Zum Hauptgang hatten wir Schweinshaxe, Hänchenschnitzel, Veggie-Burger und der Burghof Teller. Zum Nachtisch gab es die Schokoküchlein... Es war alles , inkl. der Beilagen, wirklich sehr gut! Wir werden öfter kommen!

Super lecker, freundliches Personal und das Essen ist noch heiß wenn man es nach Hause holt. Immer wieder gerne 👍

Ich habe kaum geglaubt, dass es hier noch ein Wirtshaus gibt. Aber wir wurden positiv überrascht. Beim Betreten urgemütlich mit wirklich netter persönlicher Begrüßung. Reservierte Tisch wieder und gezeigt. Sich der Gastraum ist heimelig und wir fühlten uns gleich wohl. Das ging sich mit dem sehr aufmerksamem und netten Mitarbeitern-/innen so weiter. Das bestellte Essen kann in angemessener Zeit und war insgesamt ausgezeichnet. Die Zubereitung sowie das Arrangement war sehr geschmackvoll, wie das Gericht auch. Insgesamt war das für uns mal wieder ein Highlight von Anfang über das Essen bis zum Ende. Daher von uns, bitte bleibt so und haltet den Standart so hoch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig, auf individuelle Wünsche wird eingegangen. Der Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein. Parkplätze in der näheren Umgebung verfügbar.

Mal ein Restaurant wo nicht die Gäste sehr nah aneinander sitzen. Finde ich super! Das Essen hat toll geschmeckt und die cocktails waren ebenfalls super und recht günstig.

Schade, das muß ein Ausrutscher gewesen sein. Wir hatten den Cheeseburger mit Süßkartoffel Fritten und die Spareribs mit Normalen. Beide Fritten waren zu lange im Fett. Die Rippchen aussen trocken aber innen noch tw. fest am Knochen. Lichtblick war der Burger. Gut gewürzt, schön medium auch wenn danach nicht gefragt wurde . Da waren viele Rezensenten begeisterter

Waren dort essen da uns die Terrasse gefallen hat. Dort sitzt man echt schön um sich ein Bier Schmecken zu lassen. Haben dann auch etwas zu essen bestellt. Salat und Burger sowie Fish and Chips. Der Salat war leider völlig geschmacklos und fade. Wurde aber von Chef dann auch nicht berechnet. Die Fish and chips meiner Frau waren OK. Mein Burger da kann ich nichts sagen der war wirklich gut. Der Service muss man sagen wirkte eher lustlos und unmotiviert. Ich weiß es ist zur Zeit schwer Personal zu finden in der Gastronomie aber so tut man sich auch keinen Gefallen.

Das Schnitzel hat geschmeckt wie ein trockenes Stück Fleisch richtig trocken und saftigen Geschmack

Die Atmosphäre auf der Terrasse ist sehr nostalgisch und romantisch und der Blick auf den kleinen Mühlenteich ist einfach sehr schön 👌📽😉😎👍

Oberhalb der stever auf der Terrasse noch einmal Sonne tanken. Der Heldenburger ist nur etwas für wirklich hungrige und mit den Süßkartoffel pommes eine Empfehlung wert.

Die Burger sind sehr lecker, haben schon einige probiert, auch die Änderung beim Hawaiibürger von Hähnchenbrust auf Rind war kein Problem. Wir lassen uns, bei zwei unterschiedlich das immer sofort in der Küche teilen, was meistens kein Problem ist. Der Service ist bisher immer sehr freundlich und bemüht gewesen, unglücklich finde ich nur das man für Getränke und Essen bestellen schon zwei Keller benötigt und dann ein dritte das Essen bringt.

Was für eine Location! Was für eine Bierauswahl! Was für eine Speisekarte! Was für eine Qualität! Wir kommen jetzt öfters!

Gute moderne schelle Küche. Ich bin älter und möchte insbesondere von jungem Personal nicht geduzt werden. Das ist respektlos.

Service und Ambiente super. Ich muss leider einen Stern Abzug geben da unsere Brotzeitplatte leider mit Aufschnitt aus der Verpackung bestückt war. Hier würde ich Produkte aus Metzgerein der Region empfehlen. Das Brot dazu war super. Die Platte für 2 Personen auch sehr reichhaltig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung war stets freundlich, das Essen kam ziemlich schnell bei einer Auslastung von ca. 30%

Zu viert fanden wir auf der Terrasse an der Stever einen schönen Tisch. Das Personal war ständig verfügbar, mitunter gab es aber Verständigungsschwierigkeiten. Wir wählten mehrheitlich Schnitzel mit Röstzwiebeln, Pilzen und Ei. Beim Fleisch wählten wir zwischen Geflügel und Schwein. Die Pommes tauschten wir gegen Bratkartoffeln. Das Essen wurde ohne Klärung der Fleischsorten serviert. Die Klärung haben wir dann beim Essen vorgenommen. Die Röstzwiebeln waren mit den Pilzen zu einer graubraunen Masse verarbeitet. Die Bratkartoffeln ebenfalls Matsche. Da ist noch richtig viel Luft nach oben.
