Winzergarten Unterrißdorf in Eisleben

This was our first time in the winter garden. It was very nice, and the hosts were very friendly. We'd love to come back.

I'm thrilled to have such a lovely wine tavern nearby. From Oberrissdorf, it's about a 40-minute walk through the Fressbachtal valley, and after the hike, you can enjoy delicious wine in beautiful surroundings. Thanks to the friendly winegrower couple. 😊 It's once again a popular destination between Unterrissdorf, Oberrissdorf, and Eisleben, just as the Bergschänke was until the 1950s.

Wonderful, cozy, rustic and delicious wine

After a lovely, approximately one-hour hike from Eisleben, past numerous plum and wild cherry trees, we received a warm welcome from the winemaker at the very busy Unterrißdorf wine garden and enjoyed tasting various wines, accompanied by a cheese platter. The chilled rosé was especially refreshing in the midsummer heat. We will definitely be back.

You can look out over the stream where Luther once rested from translating the Bible. Delicious wine and a simply idyllic setting. You can hike or bike there from Eisleben. The view is incomparable.
