Were here again today on February 2nd, 2025 to eat. Service and quality were excellent as always. I've been to other restaurants in the last few weeks but nowhere is it better than at Wilhelmshöhe

Good food, served quickly even when the house is full. Ideal for meat dishes

Great location, you feel like you're in an alpine hut. For us it was a very cozy atmosphere. We had schnitzel (e.g. 19.90 euros), venison and steak. Everything was very good, and there was also a salad buffet. The price was right for us. Service is quick, attentive and friendly. We'll definitely come back. A clear recommendation for us.

We were there on a Sunday evening, the service was attentive and friendly, the food topped everything, the lamb chops were beautifully juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside - not something that can be taken for granted these days, the Ryp Eye steak was of high quality and exactly as ordered. The accompaniments from the salad to the cheese spaetzle are simply perfect. And the roasted knight with apple sauce at the end was a highlight. A big thank you to the service and the kitchen. My biggest recommendation.

Very tasty and nice service! We were there for the Christmas party, the food arrived at the same time, drinks too. It was just a shame that we were accommodated in an adjacent building. It was very nicely designed, but the benches were a bit uncomfortable and going to the toilet was a bit of an adventure. At least it wasn't found straight away on the first try. But that's probably complaining at a high level! ^.-

The best steaks in Aalen are available here. I especially recommend the onion roast with fried potatoes. It is also very positive that a salad from the buffet is included with every main course.

Food used to be a lot better. Roast venison was pretty dry and covered in a lot of gravy that didn't really taste like anything. The spaetzle didn't seem homemade, which is to be expected in a restaurant in this price range. Service, however, is good.

Cozy atmosphere in the alpine hut, which offers space for many guests. However, the quality of the food was significantly better a few years ago (when the alpine hut didn't exist yet). Of course, there weren't that many visitors on site at the same time back then, but it's still a shame that the quality usually suffers when the location is significantly enlarged.

Super good food, great ambience. Furnishings cozy and warm. Everything made of wood, the entire furnishings! In the summer there is also a beer garden! Would go back at any time!

Well, I didn't get 50 euros for a cold steak and dessert because I was ignored by the waitress... Ok, it was busy but still. But purely in terms of taste it was good.

We were there with around 20 people to hold our Christmas party. What is very positive is that there is no buffet arrangement, but rather food from the menu, so that everyone gets what they want, so you can manage more than 5 people here, very good! The service was very good, our "supervisor" never seemed stressed or haphazard in any situation, she had everything fully under control at all times, you never had the impression that anything was getting out of hand, she had the answers before any questions even arose already delivered, that's how it has to be. The menu offers something for everyone, the portions are also generous, so no one has to go to the burger shop after visiting here :) If you are particularly hungry, you can also order changes to the size of your portion, so one here too perfect rounding off of the service. My tip: just try the standard portion settings, they should be enough for everyone. The food was very good and the quality was also impressive, so full marks here. There shouldn't have been any more dessert, but the offering was simply too good not to try something else here, which was also very good. This was definitely NOT my last time. And if you're wondering why there are only 4 stars at the top... there was actually a little faux pas that led to me keeping the 5th star until I'm convinced it was an oversight. To round off the evening there was an espresso, which was then brought to the table after about 5 minutes by a younger waitress. The announcement "an E in front of me, the crema could only be glimpsed in nuances, a first taste test showed that it was bitter, i.e. brewed too hot, you could taste it perfectly because it was in the cup after 5 minutes (which was hardly had been preheated) was only just above the body temperature of a human being and so the sense of taste had an easy time finding out. There is definitely a better way to do this, it only requires three things, namely the perfect brewing temperature, a warm cup (espresso is not one of those things that you have to put off), and then the timely delivery of the coffee to the guest... Give it a try and I'll be happy to leave 5 stars, I promise! You see, I'll be back ;)

Very pleasant and exotic meal with colleagues

We just had a meal there for the first time and I can say with certainty that it won't be the last time. The food is extremely tasty and the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean and you feel at home straight away.

Steak was delicious, great atmosphere, service was very, very friendly, I can only recommend it. Will definitely come back.

The grilled turkey breast fillet with grilled vegetables was pretty good, nice and juicy, not dry.

Beautiful beer garden, reliable quality and the food caters to special requests. Reserved again for 60 people in July and everything went smoothly. Afterwards we were given a nightcap. Food from the lava grill is always good

A little hidden but a great atmosphere. In summer you have the opportunity to use the beautiful beer garden. If it is not possible, the restaurant is more than just an alternative, very well furnished. The steak was a feast and once you think that the wedges are clear, you will feel very full. The steak also comes with a salad as a starter, which you can put together at the salad bar. The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired, beer, wine, cocktails and of course non-alcoholic drinks. EC card payment is possible. I would love to come back.

Food was very good as always, now “only” catering in the alpine hut annex.

First of all: The parking spaces are behind the house and cannot be found directly from the main road. We had to search a bit. The food was excellent. Steak was a pleasure, large selection of side dishes, delicious homemade sauces and herb butter and the salad bar was well stocked and chilled. We sat in the beer garden, which is very cozy and although the main street runs past it, it doesn't bother us at all. The interior is lovingly and rustically furnished. The service was exemplary. If we're in the area again, we'll come back.

A great location with an outdoor area. Generally speaking an excellent atmosphere with really friendly service. Salad buffet is also good, strangely enough I missed cucumbers. Cucumbers shouldn't be missing 😜, otherwise I would have rated it "very good". But let's stick to the essence, you can get a delicious salad even without cucumbers, so of course I'll continue to give it full stars. 100% recommendation and will come again often.

Nice restaurant with an alpine hut atmosphere. Prices and dishes are ok. Not cheap but appropriate for the quality. Service was there regularly to check everything was going well - it was fine.

We were there with the family at Christmas, the menu also had game dishes on it, unfortunately we were only informed when we took in the food that these were not available that day. The service was friendly and on the ball. The food was very rustic but ok. In terms of space, it was a bit cozy for our group.

We were passing through and ended up in this restaurant by chance. Very nice atmosphere, great service and super delicious food. The rib-eye steak and the fries were a dream. We'd love to come back again.

Geschmäcker sind verschieden. Das niedergeschriebene ist mein persönlicher Eindruck und Meinung. Wer es rustikal und einfach mag ist hier genau richtig. Service ist gut gemeint, jedoch schlecht umgesetzt -> zu 6. am Tisch, 1 Person isst noch und es wird fleißig abgeräumt = egal ob rustikal, Biergarten oder im gemütlichen Besen -> wenn am Tisch noch einer isst wird nicht abgeräumt. Punkt. Wir wurden auch zur Winterzeit unglücklich gesetzt -> am Ausgang zur Toilette mit Windfangvorhang 🫤 = sehr unglücklich Steaks/Filets sind außen vor -> die kann die Küche, ebenso der Rostbraten und das Reh können sich sehen lassen. Aber wo der Spaß aufhört ist der Burger!! Tomatenscheiben nahezu Daumendick, Gurken halbiert, ein totgebratenes Paddie und das Brötchen ist so trocken, das es noch beim furzen staubt! Soviel kann man nicht zum trinken bestellen, wie man für den Burger benötigt. Mängel wurden freundlich weitergegeben, jedoch mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit auf dem Weg zur Küche über Bord geworfen. Preise wie in einer gehobeneren gutbürgerlichen Gaststube, Qualität wie ne Würstchenbude vorm Baumarkt. Danke, ich habe schon besser gegessen. Für mich war der Besuch einmalig!

Sehr leckeres Steak mit Beilagen. In der Hütte sehr gemütlich und kuschelig warm. Die Bedienung flott unterwegs und allzeit bereit.

Ich hatte eine "Gemüsepfanne"...war aber sehr enttäuscht! 3 Gemüsesorten(7 Champions, Aubergine-die nicht jeder mag...und rohe Paprika) plus eine Ofenkartoffel....

Sehr gutes Essen zu relativ teuren Preisen, aber für Qualität muss man halt bezahlen! Die Almhütte ist sehr schön, das Personal nett und schnell. Man sollte auf jeden Fall reservieren!

Roastbeef ist auf den Punkt gerillt!!!! Atmosphäre in der Hütte ist einfach super. Essen hat ein bisschen lange gedauert aber bei 20 Leuten ist das verständlich.

Sehr gute Esse, Salatbuffet fand ich richtig gut.

Gerichte wie Schweizer Wurstsalat oder Schnitzel sind sehr einfache Essen und wurden leider mit großer Abweichung, schlecht zubereitet. Da waren wir froh keine teuren Gerichte bestellt zu haben. Hätte uns noch mehr geärgert. Schweizer Wurstsalat: Über die Portion lässt sich streiten, aber das Dressing schoss am Ziel weit vorbei. Zuerst drängt sich der Essig durch, dann die restlichen Zutaten. Salz, Pfeffer, Öl sind sehr dezent zu schmecken. Ein geiler Wurstsalat wird durch ein selbst kreiertes Dressing verfeinert. Das hier war ähnlich eines italienischen Salats, man bekommt einen nackten Salat und alle für Gewürze serviert. Mach selber, so auf die Art. Dringend nachbessern. Jeder der sagt, der sei gut, auf die Frage hin, lügt. Die allerwenigsten geben eine ehrliche Antwort. Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat: Die Portion ist ein Witz, für dasselbe Geld bekomme ich in einem sehr guten Restaurant (mein Stammlokal) die doppelte Menge. Außerdem lag das Schnitzel in einer kleinen im Frittierfett, ist schon etwas unappetitlich. Alles in allem: Zum Glück war das Bier ein Heubacher, wenigstens etwas. Aber da die Auswahl, aus aktueller Sicht, noch genügend gute Lokale bietet, sind wir erst mal auf der sicheren Seite. Wir sind nur ein, maximal zweimal im Jahr bei euch, und auch nur weil andere euch ebenfalls kennenlernen möchten. Daher liegt es weiterhin an euch ob ihr euch weiterentwickeln wollt. Tolles Ambiente. Gutes Essen. Was will man mehr?

Preis/Leistung stimmt hier nicht. Wir waren in geschlossener Gesellschaft vor Ort und wurden herb enttäuscht. Den Gerichten fehlt es an Liebe, sie wurden leider nur lauwarm serviert und die Nachspeise war derart unappetitlich und war geschmacklos ohne Ende (Tiramisu). Das bestellte Filetsteak war sehnig, nicht auf den bestellten Garpunkt gebraten und die Beilagen waren etwas abgebrannt. Bei den Preisen ein NoGo. Einziger Pluspunkt: Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Insgesamt aufgrund des schlechten Geschmackserlebnisses nicht empfehlenswert!

Die Almhütte ist ja mal der Wahnsinn... richtig schön gemütlich. Das Essen unglaublich lecker und der Service ist auch top! Gerne wieder

Sehr schönes Steakhouse mit Biergarten. Eine angenehme Atmosphäre die zum länger bleiben einlädt. Essen ebenfalls sehr gut. Vollste Empfehlung.

Sehr schönes Lokal :) Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und war echt super. Das Ambiente finde ich sehr einladend und Rustikal. Es ist genug Platz vorhanden um dort seine Firmenfeier oder Weihnachtsfeier abhalten zu können. Die Bedingungen sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Absolut zum Empfehlen dieses Lokal

Note 1+++ vom Salat bis zur Hauptspeise, alles sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Jederzeit gerne wieder… Die Ambiente ist als wenn man im Allgäu wäre.

Sehr schönes Ski Hütten Ambiente. Zum Essen kann man seinen Salat an der Salatbar selbst zusammenstellen. Service war super. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr gemütlich. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Große Portionen

Für eine Flasche Wasser 8,10€ zu verlangen ist eine Frechheit und Wucher. Weiter steht auf der Karte, dass ein Liter Wasser 8,10€ kostet man aber lediglich eine 0,7 Liter Flasche he mit anscheinend flüssigem Gold erhält. Ich verstehe ebenfalls nicht wieso die Kellner überhaupt fragen wie ich mein Steak möchte (Englisch), wenn es sowieso Mediumwell rauskommt. Wie dieser Laden 4,5 Sterne im Schnitt haben kann ist mir wahrlich ein Rätsel. Vermutlich gibt es einen Angestellten, der den ganzen Tag neue google Accounts erstellt um 5 Sterne Rezensionen dazulassen.

Eine tolle Adresse für gute Steaks! Man fühlt sich direkt wohl in der "Almhütte". Das Bier aus den Steinkrügen schmeckt einfach fantastisch 😁

Sehr schön hergerichteter Außenbereich, allgemein sehr schönes und ausgefallenes Design. Essen sehr lecker und aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Wir waren zum Mittagstisch hier, einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass die Portionsgrößen des Mittagsangebots ziemlich klein sind.

Tolle Atmosphäre, gutes Essen und Parkplätze vor Ort. Wir hatten aufgrund einer Betriebsfeier ein Grillbuffet. Das Roastbeef sowie das Putenstesk waren super, der Fisch wurde ebenfalls gelobt nur hätten wir gerne noch ein zwei mehr gehabt, das lässt sich beim nächsten Mal bestimmt klären. Der Service war immer freundlich und sowohl der Apfelstrudel als auch der Kaiserschmarrn sind als Dessert empfehlenswert.

Schön zwiebelroschtbraten und als Beilage ne halbe. Mensch, Watt hab ich ein Glück. Und ihr solltet euch den Schuppen auch gönnen, wenn ihr in Aalen seid.

Das Essen war sehr gut, leider hat es sehr lange gedauert. Was leider gar nicht ging, war das Unfreundliche Verhalten des Chefs (nicht das erste Mal). Es geht alles in einem freundlicherem Umgangston. Dass man den Platz wechseln sollte, wenn man statt der gemeldeten Personenzahl (6-8er Tisch) nur zu 5 Personen ist, für uns vollkommen ok. Die Art und Weise wie dies kommuniziert wurde, ging überhaupt nicht. Zumal die fehlende Person kurz darauf kam, und unter Druck seines Beiseins schnell das Essen bestellen musste. Sehr, sehr schade, da dieses Verhalten doch die Stimmung etwas dämpft.😔 Wenn der Chef gestresst und genervt ist, sollte er das doch besser sein Personal machen lassen, denn die waren ausnahmslos alle sehr freundlich. Leider scheint es jedoch für diese keine zugewiesenen Tische zugeben, für die sie zuständig sind ( fiel mir jetzt nicht zum ersten Mal auf), sodass man sich immer lautstark selbst melden muss, wenn man noch was möchte. Etwas Koordination wäre hier schön, oder für jedes Bedienpersonal eine feste Tischaufteilung?🤔🤷‍♀️ Fazit: Das Essen ist sehr gut, auch wenn es relativ lange dauert ( auch bei weniger Auslastung), Getränkeservice bzgl. Nachfrage bei leeren Gläsern wirklich ausbaufähig, Ambiente schön, Freundlichkeit und Auftreten des Chefs leider verbesserungswürdig ☝️- Wenn man nur die vorhandenen Stammkunden freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt, können keine Neuen hinzu kommen😏 Mit einem netten Lächeln würde auch der Abend für alle schöner und bewirkt so einiges😉

Tolles Getränke- und Speisenangebot, preislich absolut im Rahmen. Beilagensalat kann man sich vom Salatbuffet selbst zusammenstellen. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und die Wartezeiten sind auch bei vollem Lokal absolut in Ordnung. Sehr zuvorkommender, freundlicher Service. Außen- sowie Innenbereich sind sehr schön und gemütlich, man sitzt gerne dort. Insgesamt kann ich das Lokal auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Daher volle 5 Sterne von mir 😊
