We are from Hamm and our family lives in Sterkrade, Oberhausen. We stayed there at the weekend and stayed overnight with breakfast on Sunday. First of all, it is in a great, quiet location for us. And very close to the motorway. From the hotel to Oberhausen via the A3 is a breeze. Only a 10-minute drive and very easy to get to. The room with bathroom was great. Very comfortable and modern. The bathroom was very large and there were plenty of towels. No parking problems. Plenty of space. We slept really well. The people were friendly and nice. We were asked when we wanted breakfast on Sunday. We said 9 a.m. and that was fine. Breakfast was plentiful. Cheese, four types of sausage, jam, honey, bread and rolls, and they even made scrambled eggs. The coffee was tasty too. The restaurant is comfortably furnished, even with older furniture as decoration. There is a large beer garden with a grill. There was hardly any traffic on the weekend. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The price was right, too. As everything was great for us and the driving was also super easy, we will keep this in mind for next time and stay there again for 1 or 2 nights. As my husband is a coffee drinker, he was not charged for 2 coffees. We can also recommend this place for celebrations. During the week it is a bit noisy because of the traffic than on weekends, but we wouldn't mind. The view alone is wonderful for us. We will be back. As soon as we can meet up with family or something else in Oberhausen. We didn't have a deadline for when we had to vacate the room. So everything was great for us. The only thing was the TV didn't work straight away. It took a couple of attempts and the channels were mixed up. Not what you're used to. But we were able to watch TV.

Food was delicious Service was very good

I picked up the food I had pre-ordered. While I was paying, the cook in the open kitchen dropped a spring roll from the pan onto the floor. After a quick check to the left and right, he put the roll back in the pan. Great. The food was just so-so after that. No idea why.
