I had a couple of wonderfully freshly tapped Märzen beers. Along with them, a burger that was rather average. The atmosphere was great, the beer delicious, and the food my colleagues had was just okay.

Nice ambiance and very friendly service. The Wichtelkuchen (Witch's Cake) was okay, but not outstanding. It was a cross between tarte flambée and pizza. The toppings, including Debreziner, Schupfnudeln, and other items, were a bit sparse for the price.

The Wichtel in Ditzingen is simply amazing! They serve incredibly delicious food, tasty drinks, and the staff are super friendly! There's an underground parking garage nearby where you can park for free. But there are plenty of other parking options around the restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Ditzingen; I'll definitely be visiting the Wichtel then!

The phone number is just a decoration. No one answers anyway. You're ignored in the restaurant, too. We called twice, but then left after about 45 minutes. Too bad, then you just eat somewhere else, like s'Heinzle in Hemmingen, whose owner invented the Wichtelkuchen (Witch's Cake). Things must be going pretty well if you don't rely on customers at all. Maybe you have to have a degree to be able to serve properly.

The ambiance is very nice, the service staff are attentive and very friendly. What's not good at all is the salad. Neither the dressing nor the contents are appealing. The falafel had no flavor, and the dressing was acidic. The salad consisted mostly of lettuce and a bit of cabbage. The dressing overpowered everything. I've rarely eaten such a bad salad. It's also served without bread. When ordering, they didn't even ask if I wanted to order it separately. I paid almost €16 for it...

The beer garden is indoors and has a really great atmosphere – we felt very comfortable. The food is of the usual high quality (I know the Wichtel from Feuerbach well), and the service was excellent too. I'd love to come back!

Nice and cozy place, pet and kid friendly. I liked everything, the arrangements, the atmosphere, the food and the beer. Has a terrace which is never fully empty, but neither too crowded or loud. Recommend the house speciality food, which is a sort-of pizza, with different blatter and toppings. Their beer is also good (had a pils and helles on the menu), but don't forget to ask about any special beers! I later found out they also had Maibock and it really hurt to skip it unknowingly :(

Wichtel never disappoints you, be it any location within Stuttgart region. It’s a local brewery has special Beers to choose from. Always to go place with friends. Recently they have added to the food menu as well and it’s more than Pizza (Wichtelkuchen) in store. Limited options for only Chicken lovers. Recommended.

Restaurant with typical brewery cuisine The selection of dishes is good and leaves nothing to be desired. We chose a gnome cake and a burger from the daily menu. The burger was good, the fries on the side were crispy and tasty. The gnome cake with debreziner, sauerkraut and Schlupfnudeln sounded promising. Unfortunately it was a very dry affair. The Schlupfnoodles were like cardboard and you had to look for the sauerkraut. The dark promotional beer was very successful and really good. Despite few visitors, the service was rather invisible. But very friendly. Regardless of whether it's reordering beer or getting the bill at the end, there are eternal waiting times given the low capacity utilization. The ambience is very nice. Generally everything is clean and well maintained.

Unfortunately no reason to come back. While eating, I wanted to swap something for the vegan gnome cake. It was offered to ask, there was no further response, so I assumed that it was possible. But it wasn't. Hence bad service. The gnome cake was dry, cold and piled high with wobbly, bitter eggplant. I also gave the feedback that I was disappointed that my request to change was completely ignored - but the service person didn't seem to care. Ambiance is great. Unfortunately the food was really bad.

Being stayed in a nearby hotel, I wanted to discover the local cuisine and chose this restaurant. What a mistake! I felt like I was invisible from start to finish, barely exchanging four words with the staff. I had ordered a starter and a main course, thinking I would receive them in order, but everything was brought to me at the same time, and in an expedited manner. Literally, if I hadn't caught the plate of fries, it would have fallen. The fries, let's talk about them: they looked like a frozen supermarket product, and even the fast food ones are better. The meat was dry, the bread just as dry. As for the Coke that I ordered hoping to at least salvage the experience… I’m still waiting for it. Faced with this deplorable service, I cut my meal short and left quickly. Strangely, when it came to paying, the bill arrived faster than lightning... always without a word exchanged. Probably one of the worst restaurants I have visited.

We spent a cozy evening with friends at Wichtel in Ditzingen. Right up front, our waitress, a man unfortunately I can't remember his name, behaved very friendly. When making the reservation I wrote that we would like to sit in the winter garden, unfortunately that wasn't possible. After ordering the first round of drinks, we ordered food. I took Schnitzel Jäger style and my wife ordered the gyro plate. There was a lemon on my schnitzel, see picture, which was half moldy! My wife's gyro was cold, dry and hard, so there wasn't much in common with gyros. We then told the waiter, He then offered to replace the gyro plate. I also showed him my moldy lemon, and he said that he wouldn't charge for both meals, but when he paid, only the gyro plate wasn't charged. As compensation we were treated to a dessert. So overall a successful evening? See you next time

Once again in the Wichtel Ditzingen. I have known the Wichtel Ditzingen from the beginning in 1998.

Historic brewery and restaurant in the middle of Ditzingen. Feels like a time travel, and the food is heavenly too. During the busiest times a reservation is recommended.

It's impossible to reach anyone here. When you try to call someone, you wait in vain. I've called 17 times now and it rings every time. The last time I mentioned this, I was also told that I could see what was going on here. Dealing with regular customers. Under the weather for years. You have lost us. The food is good, but it's no use if I can't order it.

Einmal im Jahr anlässlich der Messe CMT kommen wir nach Stuttgart. Dabei ist ein Besuch in einem Wichtel (zu 90% in Ditzingen) eine willkommene Abendveranstaltung. Immer sind wir mit Freunden da. Dieses Jahr war es aussergewöhnlich lustig. Das Essen war super, trotz großem Andrang haben die Servicekräfte gute Laune versprüht, die Speisen, insbsondere aber die Getränke kamen sehr zügig. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. so kam es, dass wir dieses Jahr als letzte Gäste das Restaurant verlassen haben. Imm wieder gerne, freue mich schon auf die CMT 2026.

Grundsätzlich ist es im Wichtel nett, gutes Ambiente, gutes Essen. Aber ich kann nicht empfehlen, im Winter dort hinzugehen, es ist eiskalt in den Gasträumen. Ich bin mit Winterjacke und Schal da gesessen, ebenso wie meine Begleitung sowie andere Gäste, die sogar noch Hut und Mütze trugen. Wir sind relativ schnell wieder gegangn, um uns in einem Café weiter zu unterhalten.

Bewährtes tolles Essen, was den Wichtel besonders machte, wurde gegen Einheitsmampf ausgetauscht! Dazu kommt noch eine saftige Preiserhöhung, welche in keinster Weise gerechtfertigt erscheint! So kostet etwa ein Salatteller (Blattsalat, ein bisschen Kartoffelsalat, ein paar Karottenstiftchen, ein Klecks Krautsalat, ein wenig Dosenmais und ein wenig Thunfisch mit Joghurtdressing - wohlgemerkt "ohne Brot") 15.40 €! Unverschämtheit!
