Great location in the heart of Ditzingen. We especially recommend the various gnome cakes...it's a type of tarte flambée. Of course the beer is great too. Therefore, a visit to this small, pretty town is almost mandatory for every guest. I'll definitely come back.

It's nice to sit in the courtyard and the gnome cake is legendary. It all takes a while to come.

Cozy and rustic brewery in the city center of Ditzingen. I think the food is very tasty and there is a large selection. Value for money is good. Good service. One star deducted because the toilets are on the first floor and are not accessible to walkers and wheelchair users.

The Jägerschnitzel(chen) wasn't convincing... Service was nice and the beer was good

As always the service was awesome! At times - evenings and weekends - the place gets busy and it pays to make a reservation. The beer is very good. If you prefer non-alcoholic beer they offer two choices: Pilsner and Weizen. When we are in the area, we often go here because if the relaxed setting. Thank you!

Unfortunately it has diminished significantly. I wanted a turkey salad “we don’t have it anymore”, then a Jägerschnitzel “oh, that’s out too”. The still water was then served in a very strange way with the comment "here's the strange thing", after which beer etc. was served to the others. Not a good experience.

We were in the Secret Santa with a larger group of people. I was able to reserve online a day in advance. The service was very attentive and the menu was convincing. We were very satisfied. We liked the atmosphere.

Unfriendly service, you are rudely thrown out of the house when you ask for a free seat. They don't even bother whether something is free or will be free, even though they emphasized that you would only have a small drink and then leave straight away. Delicious food and good beer at fair prices. I like the Viennese style schnitzel with Swabian potato salad best. Plus the Pils, which has a similar taste to the Helle (which, funnily enough, is darker), but is more powerful in the Pils.

Hello everyone, The schnitzel was terrible. Just breading, super thin, hardly any meat, dry and just really bad. Spaetzle is a mass-produced product (not homemade) but you often can't expect more. But the schnitzel was really the worst of my life. The waiters were great 👍🏼 Otherwise I would have given 0 stars if that were possible 🙏

Nice and courteous service. Orders were taken and fulfilled quickly. A small selection of daily meals/lunch and also the normal menu. So - something for everyone.

I've been a regular customer at Wichtel since the beginning. Good food and good beer always draw me back there. Participated in a beer tasting for the first time. The brewer and maltster from Wichtel personally guided us through the two hours. It was very entertaining and interesting. Thank you for the nice evening.

We ordered schnitzel, unfortunately frozen goods. It wasn't bad, but unfortunately not the quality you would expect when you look at the place. And yes: the food was on the plate in less than 10 minutes after ordering, which can only be achieved with frozen food!

When we arrived we asked for food and drink. Just wanted something to drink first. Then they never asked again. After a while we became noticeable. It said that the kitchen closed 7 minutes ago. Well....no food then unfortunately. At least attention was drawn to the last round of drinking orders. It would have been better if we hadn't gone into the annex, then we would have been more visible.

It's hard for me to judge here. It was a fantastically quaint location, but the food wasn't very high quality. Had the schnitzel with fries. Schnitzel hard and lukewarm and fries soft and cold. And the worst thing for a brewery - there is only Pils and Helles, not even a dark one or anything else. But the staff is also super friendly and polite.

We ate today for two people. 1x schnitzel with spaetzle, 1x gnome cake. Both are enough. It felt like frozen schnitzels from the deep fryer. Service was nice and quick. Unfortunately, the schnitzel took about 15 minutes longer than the gnome cake. Light beer very tasty. Very busy on a Monday evening. Very nice old house.

Hello dear ones!🤗 We went to the Ditzinger Wichtel for the first time last night. The ambience when you walk to the restaurant (everything was a bit winding and well lit) was a great welcome! There were two of us and we didn't have a reservation - no problem! When we arrived at our table, we initially couldn't decide on the beer. The waitress then simply offered us a “test sip” so that the decision was no longer that difficult ☺️ By the way, the Pinot Blanc was also very tasty! For dinner we decided on an elf cake (B5, grilled vegetables in spinach sauce) and cheese spaetzle. “So that the stomach can close”, but of course dessert couldn’t be missed: Kaiserschmarrn and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce were also available for us. It was sooo delicious (and a lot!) 🤗 What struck me as particularly positive was that the table was actually only cleared when I had finished eating - and I can do that for a really long time!😄 That should actually be the rule, but I've noticed that only a few restaurants practice it that way. We met here for dinner with friends and our little dog on January 25th, 2024. The service was very friendly, courteous and prompt. Our dog didn't miss out either and a bowl of water was placed under the table for him. We ordered the schnitzel with fries or spaetzle and our friends the gnome cake with spinach and salmon Everything looked and tasted very good. We had a lovely time and would love to come back when we are in the area.

Prices ok, but ambience and friendliness clearly 5 stars! Class local.

The beer there is very tasty and drinkable, the burger was okay, but not earth-shattering. You still got your money's worth in the ambience in the backdrop of the half-timbered houses and the lovingly furnished restaurant.

Wir waren in der Woche am Abend dort. Es war ziemlich voll, die Servicekräfte schienen etwas überfordert zu sein. Ich hatte die Maultaschen, mein Mann ein paniertes Schnitzel, hat uns leider beides nicht überzeugt. Das Bier war lecker und der Wichtelkuchen, den der 3. im Bunde hatte, sah sehr gut aus. Food isn't too bad, I think it's kind of a chain pub but it looks great inside and out. I had schnitzel and potato saladwhich was enjoyable. The choice of beer is very limited. No pork knuckle on the menu, something I thought Germany was renowned for 😀

War hier 2-3mal. Aber nur weil es Veranstaltungen waren. Bier-Essen ist unterer Durchschnitt. Location ,,naja " nichts außergewöhnliches. Bedienung gibt's freundliche bis stressige. Nur ein Beispiel, zur Firmenfeier war das Personal unterbesetzt und überfordert natürlich waren sie interessiert das jeder zeitgleich Tischweise das Essen auf den Tisch kommt. Doch das war nicht so. Es wurde Essen serviert und gleich wieder vom Platz genommen, denn der Nachbartisch hatte das selbige Gericht auch bestellt und somit vorrangig bedient. Katastrophen alarm im Wichtel! Kann mich noch an andere Zeiten des Wichtel in Ditzingen erinnern, dort wo jetzt Keltenfürsten ist war früher Wichtel, dort waren noch Kulinarische Gerichte für den Gaume geboten. Genau wie das Bier, es war einfach ein eigenständiges süffig-würziges Bier 🍺 Zu jetzt ist das Bier nicht mehr der Grund warum man dort einkehren sollte, aus meiner Sicht. Schade......!

It came with fries, but both the fries and the burger were cold. Besides that, the burger meat was dry and overcooked. Also, the restaurant has two floors with open space, which makes the environment very noisy.

Catena di ristoranti caratteristici tedeschi, molto buono il cibo e l'ambiente veramente bello, il servizio è ok anche se mi sono sembrati un po' scortesi solo per il fatto che siamo stranieri.

Der Wichtel-Burger ist leider dermaßen unterdurchschnittlich, dass der Preis eigentlich eine Frechheit ist. Das Fleisch ist extrem wenig und einfach nur totgebraten. Die dazu gegebenen Pommes sind Standard Metro Pommes. Das ganze dann für knapp 16€ ist einfach eine Zumutung.

Nettes Ambiente, besonders im Sommer. Gutes Bier und für den Magen findet man auch immer eine Kleinigkeit.

Piwo na dzień dobry, później pizza która w menu nie nazywa się pizzą, ale za to bardzo smaczna. Miła, ekspresowa obsługa kolejne piwo było po minucie od zamówienia.

Super Privatbrauerei mit tollem Bier. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und man bekommt auch kurzfristig einen Platz. Der Innenhof ist ein Traum und das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Der Wichtel-Pumpkin Burger war hervorragend. Diesen würde ich gerne wieder bestellen. Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren leider teilweise schon etwas kalt und die Vanillesoße zum Kaiserschmarn war mAn etwas zu fest (evtl. zu kalt). Der Kaiserschmarrn selbst war gut. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Das Servicepersonal war freundlich, Getränke haben lange gedauert. Essen ( Wichtel vegan ) hat mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Insgesamt sehr trocken, wenig Geschmack. Burger mit Beef leider sehr salzig. Die Holzstühle im Biergarten ohne Sitzpolster, also nichts für einen gemütlichen Abend. Sehr schade bei den Preisen.

Wir essen immer nur Wichtelkuchen, und der ist meistens sehr gut. Oft sehr fettig durch viel Käse (liegt dann fettig schwer im Magen). Der Belag (Gemüse) könnte etwas mehr sein, dafür weniger fetter Käse. Sonst ok

Eine Hausbrauerei hat kein Weizenbier im Ausschank, weil es ausgegangen ist. Das ist wie bei einer Bank die keine 10 Euroscheine mehr hat. Denkbar schlechte Logistik!

Haben bei unserer Radtour nach einer Gartenwirtschaft gesucht, die schon mittags geöffnet hat und sind im Wichtel gelandet. Sehr schönes Ambiente und große Auswahl an Speisen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und die Wichtelkuchen äußerst lecker. Wir sind voll zufrieden weitergeradelt.

Lauwarmes Bier niedrigster Qualität. Jede Hefeweizen aus der Tanke schmeckt 20x besser. Pommes aus Aldi und Spetzle gesunken in komischen Soße. Die Bedienung war super nett und Essen wurde sehr schnell und freundlich geliefert ansonsten flopp. Für das Geld gibt es viel viel bessere Alternativen in der Umgebung.

Wir waren mit 23 Personen da, im Hof schön gesessen . Toller Service nettes Personal. Getränke und Essen lecker.

Leckeres Bier (könnte nach meinem Geschmack etwas kälter sein), einmal Schnitzel mit Pommes und einmal gegrillte Putensteak etwas trocken. Netter Service und nettes Ambiente. Beim Essen noch etwas Luft.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr zu Himmelfahrt - Dinkel-Wichtel mit Spargel und Schinken sind da Pflicht. Bisher wurden wir auch nie enttäuscht, auch nicht bei anderen Gerichten wie Schnitzel etc. Bis zum nächsten Jahr!

Ein gutes Lokal. Leider war an diesem Abend aufgrund eines Stadtfestes für den Service Land unter. Aber trotzdem alles noch befriedigend gemacht. Deshalb die fünf Sterne für den Service - da noch ruhig bleiben und allen Gästen gerecht werden: Hut ab.

Also ich schlecht das halt es lange gedauert haben bis sie kommen und war mit einen Freund dort und wir mussten 15 Minuten warten bis wir Bestellung durften und neue Leute sind halt gekommen und dann haben eine Mitarbeiterin und dann hat die Frau direkt angesprochen und nach 5 Minuten auf durften wir erst bestellen ( ich bin Jungendlich deswegen verschreibe ich mich Entschuldigung)

Schönes Restaurant, mit leckeren Gerichten. Leider war das Bier warm auch am zweiten Tag war es nicht viel Kälter deshalb einen Sern Abzug. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Völlig überfordertes, unfreundliches Personal. Man wird ignoriert und wenn man fragt, bekommt man gleich Schuldgefühle eingeredet.

Bin eigentlich Stammkunde in Wichtel Feuerbach. Ausnahmsweise war ich mal in Wichtel Ditzingen und Pfand der Service absolut schlecht! Bier an sich hat leider nicht geschmeckt (war sogar warm bedient). Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr unsympathisch (als ich ein Malbuch für meine Tochter gefragt hatte, wurde mir gesagt, dass ich dieses selber holen muss. Als ich das Malbuch selber holen wollte, hat der Kellner in Hof einen Vorwurf gemacht und gesagt, dass ich geduldig auf Essen warten muss!). Bedienungshorror (die Dauer sowohl beim Bestellen als auch bei der Erstellung der Rechnung). Ich würde sogar Wichtel Feuerbach mehr empfehlen und in Zukunft Wichtel Ditzingen ganz vermeiden.
