An authentic Indian restaurant. My meal was very tasty and the portion was great too! It was all very tasty. From the mango lassi to the chicken korma to the garlic naan... I'll definitely be back!

Those steps at the entrance are legendary! Very good Indian and Aryuvedic cuisine, wonderful ambience! My favorite!😀

Finally eating Indian food again. From the outside you have no idea what a beautiful, pleasant location is waiting for you, With very nice service and a very perfect meal. Something for every taste. Always good. Looking forward to next time.

This is definitely not an Indian restaurant. They are from somewhere else close to India but calling themselves as Indian restaurant. The taste is no where close to typical Indian restaurants. Don't be fooled by the name.

Last night i was here at first it seemed nice, but then we got the food we ordered and it was so bad. Would not recommend if they can not cook rice normally!

The ambience inside is really great, the service is very friendly and accommodating. The food was very, very tasty. We had nan and lamb skewers, as well as prawns as starters. Main courses were 81 +87 lamb in curry and lamb with peas and salad with mango. As a drink, a real “Kingfisher” All very delicious, thank you.

Food ordered in advance by phone and picked up. While we were waiting on site, we got a mango lassi on the house! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious and still warm when we got home! Lovely again :)

Awful. Poppadoms old and stale. Lamb tikka was incredibly tough. Offered a fresh one but asked to have it taken off the bill instead. Was told I needed to pay 50%. Won't return or recommend. Nice decor.

Very authentic, high-quality atmosphere. The menu is very extensive and also offers many traditional dishes that I otherwise only know from India (bitter gourd, etc.) Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations and was probably more adapted to German tastes, i.e. hardly any spice or spiciness. I ordered butter chicken which was actually not butter chicken with bones inside and taste like karahi. It’s. Expensive and they should work on recipe. They quantity was good.

Food: Unfortunately, the food was not typically Indian. Chicken Biryani: was still ok as you can't go wrong here. Butter Chicken: was way too salty and spicy, even though butter chicken wasn't supposed to be spicy, even though they had also mentioned not to make it spicy. In addition, ingredients that are typical for butter chicken were missing. Chicken Karahi: This felt more like chicken with sauce, there were no tomatoes, peppers and onions to taste or see. We also ordered naan instead of rice with the chicken karahi and the naan bread came 5-7 minutes after the karahi. What should you do with the karahi at the table if the bread isn't there yet? Unfortunately it was already cold and you couldn't really enjoy it. We've been here several times and everything worked fine before, so we were very surprised. Given the prices, you can't afford that, which is why we won't be eating here anymore.

Hello All, we dine in at this restaurant yesterday, and normally, i don't give reviews, even its 3 stars... I only take time when the restaurant doesn't meet 3 star rating. 1. Menu...is that a menu or some exam preparation book? Definitely, it takes time to find suitable items. 2. The quantity and the price. The chicken starter gets 4 boneless pieces for 6.9 euro? Seriously? Try at desiadda restaurant. 3. Alo paratha stuffing and samosa stuffing is the same. Seriously? 4. Butter naan, I never seen the butter nan this one except its called flat bread. It's not indian butter naan. I know it's difficult to satisfy a person's like me who knows the cooking well. And the ingredients choosing. But it's minimal that they have to maintain something when they using name ayurveda and other. Sorry for this long review. Thank you

Super tasty, great ambience and nice service

There were five of us there for dinner. Food was tasty, service was friendly, if a bit fake. What's not possible is that the prices in the restaurant are significantly more expensive than stated on the homepage. We wouldn't go here again in the evening.

Very tasty Indian food. I took it with me but actually I should have eaten it there too. Great atmosphere. Can recommend the vegetarian number 55. Very creamy lentil curry.

The ambience is good and created an initial impression, but was marred by the experience that followed. They offer ONLY "Indian beer" and that costs 6 euros for a 330 ml bottle!! The best lounge bars in Frankfurt don't charge so much. You either take what they consider "premium" or leave. Had Madras chicken which cost 18.5 euros. The quality was mediocre. The portion was for a single person. Overpriced, in my opinion. Ordered a paneer naan. This tasted really good, but costs 6.9 euros for a piece!!! We were shocked at the offering and the lady taking our order wasn't happy when we chose to order just 1 dish for the 2 of us. She was mumbling each time she walked away. Positives - Ambience is good. Paneer naan was tasty. Wet towel at the end. Negatives - Unfriendly staff, over priced for the offering, poor selection of beers (rather no selection)

The food is stale and tasteless. Every single item we ordered, we felt the staleness. Even the Lassi felt like a yellow tasteless cough syrup. I doubt that they re-use the left over food. Except for the waitress there was nothing good about the restaurant. Please do not believe the ratings. They also claim to offer Ayurvedic food which is a clear trap. Strongly recommend to avoid.

The food was very good. Especially the soups. I ordered a curry soup, a vegetable soup and a spicy chicken soup. All perfectly seasoned, served in a creamy soup, they were extremely aromatic and intense in taste. The Bengali style prawns with rice, green peas and peanuts were very tasty, the butter chicken and tandori kebab are also worth mentioning. The decor is very interesting, truly Indian. You can feel the touch of Ayurveda.

Yesterday the four of us had dinner at the restaurant. The ambience was very nice in the restaurant. That's the most positive thing. The young lady in service was not attentive to the guests. You had the feeling that you weren't happy about the guests in an almost empty restaurant. At first we were the only ones in the whole store. The food is average, poorly seasoned. I am an Ayurvedic chef myself and can say that the correct preparation and sequence of dishes are definitely misinterpreted. The chai I ordered was nightmare. No spices, no aroma. Just black tea with milk. Service is very bad, the receipt was not brought. I don't recommend it to anyone. The rooms are very nice.

There is a very large selection. We ate there and everyone enjoyed it.

+ Nice setting, good ambience. - nowhere close to Indian cuisine, flavours taste highly artificial and I cannot even call it Indian food. Even as we went in expecting that the dishes would be adapted to the European tastes, the recipes seem completely ignored and random things on a fancy menu are passed off as Indian food. Even dal tarka, didn’t had the flavour and texture. Disappointed with Slow service.

I visited the restaurant based on a recommendation. I really liked the atmosphere. I received friendly service and the food was very tasty. In fact, the portion could have been a little larger. I'd love to come back when I'm nearby.

Das Essen war eher Durchschnitt und das eine oder andere gäbe es zu bemängeln. Aber, am schlimmsten war der absolut desorganisierte Service, der eine Unruhe par excellence verbreitet. Eine halbe Stunde warteten wir auf ein paar Papandams und eine weitere auf die Hauptgerichte. Die Nachspeise hat verloren; leider wurden die Mangoscheibchen mit einem Zwiebelmesser geschnitten. Immerhin mussten wir dieses Dessert nicht bezahlen. Fazit, es gibt bessere indische Restaurants im Rhein-Main-Gebiet.

Habe am Freitag 6 x Gerichte für Samstag um 19 Uhr bestellt nach Bürgel und es klingelte Punkt 19 Uhr. Bravo. Lecker war es auch, wie immer.

Młoda Dama pochodzenia tureckie była bardzo nie uprzejmą! 30 minut oczekiwania w końcu jedzenie podane przyniosla rachunek i mówi aby już kończyć to poproslismy o zapakowanie jedzenie porażka pierwszy raz mi się takie coś przydarzyło normalnie kelner proponuję może cis jeszcze może deser kawę obojętne co a ona poprostu dala nam rachunek i wprost powiedzieć proszę już wyjść to tak zrobiliśmy nigdy więcej....

Leider schon mehrfach Lieferdienst bestellt und es wurde nicht ausgeliefert. Stundenlang auf das Essen gewartet und entweder keine Antwort mehr bekommen oder es wurde gesagt, dass das Essen vergessen wurde und nun nicht mehr geliefert wird. Sehr schade.

06.01.2024 Update: Heute waren wir zu sechst vor Ort und haben im Restaurant gegessen. Top Service und wieder sehr leckeres Essen. Wir sind alle begeistert. Heute haben wir 4 indische Gerichte nach Hause bestellt, dazu Samosas und Naan. Wir waren alle total begeistert. Das Essen war super schmackhaft, authentisch indisch und frisch zubereitet.

Vielen Dank an das Team vom White Elefant, mein erstes mal Indisch essen war grandios. Meine Begleitung und ich waren begeistert vom Ambiente, der Variation an Gerichten, vom Servieren bis hin zum Geschmack. Ein Gesamtpaket das nur von der späten Ankunftszeit unserer Seite gerügt wird. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen.

Das beste indische Restaurant, das ich im Rhein-Main-Gebiet kenne. Wenn sehr scharf auf der Karte steht, dann sollte man das ernst nehmen. Das Knoblauch-Naan verdient seinen Namen auch. Alles sehr lecker!

Ich finde das Essen super! Toll gewürzt und viele vegane und vegetarische Gerichte. Bestimmt der Inder mit der größten Speisekarte, die ich kenne. Ein Viertel der Auswahl würde locker reichen. Aber, wir bestellen mittags oft und holen ab oder gehen vorbei. Ich find's sehr gut! Unterstützt das Restaurant, in dem ihr direkt bestellt und nicht über diverse Lieferdienste!

I have been regularly visiting here for 10 years, I'm a vegetarian and my friend with me had no veg, unfortunately they seem to have lost the touch post Covid. I didn't find the food great last year and this year too. I would strongly recommend they revisit their preparations. Thank you for the lovely service.

Das Essen ist unglaublich gut, sehr gut auch für Vegetarier/Veganer geeignet. Der Service was Spitze und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist urig schön . Gedimmtes Licht lässt es am Abend besonders gemütlich werden. Immer wieder gern.

Waren heute etwas enttäuscht😔 schon öfters im weißen Elefanten zu Gast gewesen, essen immer top und lecker...und heute dann die GROßE Enttäuschung...seit einer Woche gibt es hier keinen Alkohol mehr, wir wollten wie immer eine Flasche Rotwein, ...weder auf der Website findet man einen Hinweis, noch wurde bei der Reservierung darauf hingewiesen. Wir haben dann vorgezogen, daß Restaurant zu verlassen ....

Hieno sisustus. Hyvä ja nopea palvelu. Tilaa paljon,eikä tarvinnut odottaa pöytää. Ruoka hyvää ja maistuvaa. Ruuat kauniisti laitettu esille. Isot annokset. Hinta-laatusuhde hyvä.

Das Ambiente draußen könnte deutlich verbessert werden und wird dem Restaurant nicht gerecht. Das Essen ist aber wie gehabt gut.
