Weserschlößchen Restaurant & Hotel am Fähranleger nach Bremerhaven in Nordenham

Eine Katastrophe. Anders kann ich es nicht nennen. Wir waren zum Essen da und hatten einiges mehr erwartet. Zuerst kamen die Getränke falsch. Eine Flasche Wein zu kriegen ist gar nicht so einfach, weil niemand da weiss was für Wein sie haben. Obwohl auf der Karte steht man solle das Personal fragen. Am Schluss wurde uns doch eine Flasche auf den Tisch gestellt mit den Gläsern. Das füllen der Gläser mussten wir selbst machen. Nach ca. 1 Stunde kam dann mal die Hälfte vom Essen. Die anderen beiden mussten nochmals warten. Dann wurde uns vom Service die Teller in die Hand gedrückt. Die Pasta war verkocht und der Burger und die Pommes kalt. Als wir dies auch alles gesagt haben wurden faule Ausreden gesucht. Und da die Chefin mehr wert auf diese Bewertungen hier legt als auf ein persöhnliches Feedback, sah ich mich fast gezwungen dies hier zu schreiben. Nie wieder!

Wir waren nur zum Essen da und das war sehr gut. Preislich ist es auch gut nicht zu teuer und die Toiletten sind Sauber und der Parkplatz ist gut zu erreichen und befahren.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Weserschlößchen, auch wenn der Service etwas aufmerksamer hätte sein können. Das Essen am Barbeque Friday war sehr lecker und besonders der Barbeque Teller hat uns begeistert. Eine sehr leckere Kombination aus Burger, Hähnchenkeule und Spareribs. Leider war der Service nicht sehr aufmerksam, hier gibt es noch Luft nach oben.

Zimmer (Nr. 1) und Bad sehr sehr groß, gute Ausstattung (bis auf den kleinen Schrank), toller Blick auf die Weser, Abendessen und Frühstück gut. Verbesserungspotential: Eingangsbereich des Hotels und Kaffee. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Empfehlung!

Haben einen Rad Ausflug von Bremerhaven über die Fähre gemacht. Die Lage ist top direkt am Anleger und Wasser. Bedienung kam schnell. Leider etwas unfreundlich und wollte immer schnell weiter. daher nur 3 Sterne beim Service

Das Essen wird es wirklich sehr gut. Ich hatte das 300 g Rumpsteak und es war ausgezeichnet. Auch die Bratkartoffeln und der Fisch sind sehr lecker ebenso die Pommes. Der Salat war so mittelmäßig, es war irgendwie ein bisschen zu wenig Soße. Im Hotel war ich nicht also kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Es ist sehr schön gelegen direkt an der Weser und bei den Fähranleger. Dann kommt von dort sehr schnell mit einer Fähre nach Bremerhaven. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Das Essen ist immer super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Am Personal kann er noch arbeiten. Aber leider ja auch sehr schwer gutes Personal heut zu Tage zu bekommen.

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis absolut ungenügend. Service unprofessionell und übergriffig. Wartezeit ebenfalls nicht angemessen. Essen okay - Besseres Imbissessen… Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend!

Die Lage und Aussicht ist mehr als gut, das Essen dort, naja nach oben gibts noch einge stufen.

War eine Woche geschäftlich dort untergekommen. Alle Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind schön hell und ausreichend groß, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, einzig ein kleiner Schrank für die Kleidung wäre nett. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. auch die direkte Fähranbindunng nach Bremerhaven ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Nochmal Danke an Ines und ihr gesamtes Team.

We were there today with 11 people for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately, things got off to a bad start when we were told right at the beginning that there was only one veggie burger left (1 of 3 vegetarian/vegan dishes) and that two other dishes were also only available in small quantities, even though there was another large party there besides us. The food that was still available was very tasty, although the chicken was unfortunately not good. The service was also not very good, or rather, the staff were too infrequent at our table (my father would have ordered significantly more drinks otherwise). Finally, we wanted two desserts, which we then had to wait over half an hour for, which didn't improve the atmosphere at all. Therefore, unfortunately, only 3 stars overall.

Leider durch Corona noch geschlossen. Die Gerichte außer Haus sind sehr lecker. Das Gebäude wurde wieder sehr schön hergerichtet. Ich kenne es noch als es unser Bahnhof war. From the very first moment, it was a thoroughly successful Sunday visit. The reservation was handled in a friendly and courteous manner, and the last-minute change in the number of guests was completely uncomplicated and confirmed with a smile. The child-oriented, priority service was particularly positive – exactly what a family wants. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome; our coats were taken away, a highchair was ready in seconds, water was poured without asking, and small special requests were handled confidently and warmly. The team visibly works hand in hand, calmly, attentively, with a keen eye for detail. Requests come at the right time, never too early and never too late. Additional plates or cutlery are brought before you even think about them. You sense the professionalism, the joy of hospitality, and the genuine collaboration between the kitchen and the service team. The Sunday lunch menu completely won us over from a culinary perspective. All dishes were delicious and more than sufficient. Side dish changes were, of course, possible, without any discussion and exactly as we requested. The whole pork fillet was cooked to perfection and was tender and juicy. The homemade beef roulades seemed like they'd come from a good kitchen, made with time and love, wonderfully stuffed, aromatic, and full of flavor. The red cabbage was freshly prepared, pleasantly balanced, and an experience in itself, reminiscent of childhood and winter, only more elegant and refined. The desserts added a sweet exclamation mark and rounded off the meal perfectly. From the first appetizer to the last spoonful, everything was perfect, the sequence of courses was perfect, the plates arrived hot and beautifully presented, and the timing was exemplary. The decor combines cozy warmth with maritime expanse. Light wood, clean lines, loving details, large windows overlooking the Weser River, and an atmosphere that tells a story while simultaneously feeling fresh. It's a place where you lose track of time, because the space, light, and soundscape blend seamlessly. Located directly at the Blexer ferry dock, the lively hustle and bustle of the ferry accompanies the scenery. Today, the Weser River appeared in the rain, drops on the window, a silvery light over the water, quiet engine noises, short shouts at the pier, a hint of wanderlust yet still a sense of warmth and security inside. This contrast creates the charm: the gentle tranquility inside, movement and flow outside. We would like to particularly highlight the team. Thoughtful, welcoming, with keen attention to the guests' needs. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner, recommendations were knowledgeable and honest, and the tone was friendly and respectful. Even with a full house, everything remained calm, precise, and welcoming. For children, there were small gestures that made a big difference. A smile here, a straw there, a quick plate when they're very hungry. This creates the feeling of not just being served, but truly being entertained. Our conclusion is clear: This restaurant is a definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food, attentive service, and a special location. We spent a long weekend at this hotel. The hotel has free on-site parking, with the option to store bicycles in a locked room. That was great. The rooms are modern, bright, spacious, and offer a view of the Weser River. Really nice. For a longer stay, there aren't enough storage options for clothes. There's a wardrobe, open shelves, and a few hangers for hanging clothes. There's a luggage rack. There were two comfortable armchairs with a table by the window. There was also an extra chair with a table in a corner. Lighting comes from floor lamps and reading lamps by the bed. There's no kettle in the room. We brought our own. It's nice to have tea or coffee in the room every now and then. The bed was super comfortable, but we didn't like the foam pillows. Too high and too stiff. They didn't offer any other pillows upon request. A shame. The bathroom was nice and large and fairly new, but unfortunately very cold as it didn't have its own radiator. Unfortunately, there was only one hook for hanging the two bath towels. There's still room for improvement. The towels couldn't dry overnight in the bathroom because it was too cold. To keep the bathroom warm, we mostly left the bathroom door open. This wasn't ideal during the cold season, as showering created a lot of steam, making everything very humid. The bathroom can be closed off with a sliding glass door. The restaurant is very nice. The food is recommended. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Our breakfast was very good every morning. It was served directly at our table. Warm rolls, a breakfast egg, sausage, cheese, jam, Nutella. Some tomato, cucumber, and fruit. It was perfectly sufficient and delicious for us, and of course, with a view of the Weser River. They served not only regular coffee but also latte, cappuccino, tea, and juices, depending on your preference. Overall, a lovely little hotel with a very good restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Nordenham. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would especially like to emphasize that they went to great lengths to provide breakfast for our son before 6:30 a.m. – that was truly accommodating. Our room was spacious and comfortable; we lacked nothing. We felt completely at home and can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in Nordenham.

We are a family with a one-year-old daughter and took a trip to Blexen for Sail 2025 during our vacation. We wanted to have a nice drink before heading back to our vacation home. The moment we entered the restaurant, it was chaotic. Three people behind the counter, but no plan. We noticed this again when we sat at a table in the back and waited for someone to come and take our order. This took at least 10 minutes, and we had to get the menu ourselves. During this time, service staff kept walking past us. But no one had a drink or food. The tables weren't cleared either. After repeatedly asking, we were able to order drinks. They arrived about 40 minutes later, and initially, the wrong ones. In the meantime, several guests had already left the restaurant because they couldn't order anything. The service staff continued to run around like a swarm of bees without bringing anything to the table. One guest was so sorry he had to clear all the tables. The worst happened at the end when my wife went to change our daughter's diaper. The entire changing table flew out of the wall and fell on her head. It's unthinkable what would have happened if our child had already been lying on the table. We reported it to the staff, but we don't know if it arrived. Conclusion: A very beautifully located restaurant, a great place to stop for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the staff had absolutely no control over it. Sailing isn't a spontaneous, last-minute event. You'd expect sufficient staff and a well-organized organization. Several euros in sales and profits went down the drain on Wednesday. We definitely won't be visiting the Weserschlösschen again and, unfortunately, can't recommend it to anyone.

On this "specific day," our restaurant was closed. However, because we want to act in a socially responsible manner, we still allowed the waiting guests to enter so they didn't have to wait two hours in the blazing sun for the ferry. Many of them asked to use our restrooms, which we gladly granted. Our staff was exclusively working outside that day, but we did our best to meet the needs of the numerous guests—at times, there were up to 150 people at the same time. It's obvious that this cannot be fully achieved under such circumstances. Unfortunately, this extraordinary moment seems to have passed you by, as your perception was apparently limited exclusively to the behavior of the staff. And none of us could have predicted that the changing table would fall on your head that very day. Of course, we would have removed it from the wall as a precaution to avoid any painful damage to your head. I sincerely hope that, despite everything, you had a wonderful day at the Sail in Bremerhaven. The well-being of our guests is always our top priority, and we hope that our guests will continue to be positive.

Restaurant: We visited spontaneously and sat outside in the evening summer atmosphere with a direct view of the Weser River and the ferry dock. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and you feel well looked after as a guest. One of the positive things we remember is that they asked if our two little Frenchies (dogs) needed a bowl of fresh water. They said yes, and we got it. We ordered our drinks and food. The drinks arrived promptly, but the food took a little longer, which was due to the fresh preparation. And you could definitely taste it. I've never eaten such a delicious burger, even in some steakhouses, where the patty (meatball), freshly ground daily, tasted so juicy, flavorful, and smoky. The accompanying crispy potato sticks were also delicious. The meal was rounded out with a fresh salad. The wait was worth it. It's not fast food, but a culinary delight of superior quality. A warm welcome to the chef/head chef of the hotel. We really enjoyed it and will definitely head back to the Weserschlößchen when we head towards Butjadingen. We parked nearby for Sail 2025. We walked a bit. We were able to take the ferry right into the heart of the action. Later, we had a pleasant sit until closing time, watching the ships. The service was friendly and unhurried, despite the hustle and bustle of the day. Respect, I say.

Our visit to the Weserschlösschen was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by André Zepf. Not only did he expertly guide us through the menu, but his charming and attentive manner also created a wonderful atmosphere. From the moment we greeted us to the moment we left, he was always there, without being intrusive. Service like this makes all the difference and remains a lasting memory. The food was also excellent, and the view of the Weser River is simply unbeatable—a perfect combination!

We visited the restaurant at the beginning of June 2025. We were quickly shown to our seats with a beautiful view of the water. The menu and drinks were quickly ordered. There were special menus for the kids, which also served as coloring pages (a pretty good idea). The food took about 30 minutes from ordering to being served. The food was generally decent, but nothing more. The fries were amazing. We all ordered fish; the fried potatoes were okay but very oily. The different types of fish were all either deep-fried or fried in a lot of oil. Which was very unfortunate... Our conclusion: It was okay, nothing special, but we won't be repeating.

Thursday is schnitzel day. Portions were generous and delicious. Friendly and fast service. Reservations recommended, dogs welcome.

We are well aware that there is a shortage of skilled workers these days. This wasn't noticeable here. There were six service employees working at the time. Tables were being set, chairs were being moved around. After we had "taken" our table, a service employee came and wanted to set our table. We asked him to wipe the table first, as the "leftovers" from the previous guest were still visible. After this was done, another employee came and wanted to take our drinks. Very surprised, we first asked for the menu. That was it; no one felt responsible for us anymore. After asking twice to two different employees, who didn't even look at us, we left the "Weserschlösschen." PINE/WAPENHANS

Friendly restaurant to wait for the ferry to Bremerhaven.

Was there in December. Ordered steak with a baked potato. Unfortunately, it was completely cold (no idea how that happens). It was delivered 20 minutes later when my steak was finished. Today I had schnitzel with asparagus/potatoes and hollandaise sauce. Unfortunately, the hollandaise was completely cold... returned it, and well... after 20 minutes, my plate was also empty. Without butter or sauce, it was correspondingly dry. This time, too, there was no small greeting from the kitchen as an "apology." It's your fault if you expect everything warm. And cold hollandaise tastes particularly good... I'm really a bit pissed off.

We stopped here on the way home after a long journey because the ferry wasn't there yet and we were hungry and tired. The service was nice and attentive. We were then able to enjoy the beautiful view with coffee and cake, but then we missed a ferry because it was just so beautiful and cozy. The prices are reasonable, locations with a comparable ambience cost significantly more. Always happy, even just now and then when the weather is nice.

Every piece was cooked to perfection, the side dishes were harmoniously coordinated, and the whole thing was served with an attention to detail that you can really taste. 🤩 The ambience of the restaurant is cozy, with a wonderful view of the Weser, which makes eating a real experience. I would prefer to give zero stars! I have rarely left a restaurant so disappointed. My partner had ordered a burger and was looking forward to it, but what was served was simply unreasonable: First of all, we had to wait over 1.5 hours for our food - even though the restaurant wasn't even full. When my partner's burger finally arrived, some of the meat was raw. We complained politely, but the staff were overwhelmed and didn't seem to know how to deal with the situation. After a short wait, the chef finally came in person - and that's where things just got disrespectful. Instead of apologizing, my partner was directly insulted. This behavior was completely unprofessional and completely ruined our evening. The height of the impudence was the so-called “goodwill regulation”. We were told that as an exception they would cancel the burger, but we would still have to pay for the rest of our order - a ridiculous gesture considering how much went wrong. The atmosphere was chaotic, the staff disorganized, and the chef's behavior was rock bottom. We will definitely never visit this restaurant again and can only advise everyone not to go! Bad service, bad food and zero respect!

Disappointing Christmas experience, We were looking forward to a nice lunch, but unfortunately we were disappointed. After 1.5 hours of waiting, the food arrived - and then the red cabbage we ordered was missing. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested. The kitchen seemed completely overwhelmed with the orders. The portions were far too small and the fish plate was significantly overpriced for the quantity. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right. It's a shame actually...

A very beautiful castle-like building that is located directly on the Weser with a wonderful view of Bremerhaven. Also a nice corner for walks.

Such an offer was missing in the Wesermarsch. Great location on the Weser. Good value for money, friendly service. Had panfish and pulled pork burgers. Everything delicious at a fair price.

The Weserschlöẞchen is located directly on the Weser adjacent to the ferry pier towards Bremerhaven, which makes it ideal if you also want to travel to Nordenham and Bremerhaven by bike. I personally only went there to eat, which I can recommend. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. The view of the Weser is really beautiful, and the Weserschlöẞchen is also a real pearl.

We waited over an hour for food with a toddler... If we had known this beforehand, we wouldn't have gone to the restaurant there.

After making a written reservation via email, we spent a special (for us) evening here. The food was so delicious, the service was courteous and the view was just beautiful. We were even offered the opportunity to spend the night in the parking lot with the motorhome. Thank you very much for this and thank you to the entire Weserschlößchen team.

We went there for dinner on the occasion of my birthday. Unfortunately we didn't get the menu and drinks until about 20 minutes later, even though the restaurant wasn't very full. The menu wasn't very extensive, but the dishes were all very good. The waitress, who was probably still very inexperienced, asked several times for further requests without clearing the dishes. We stayed in this hotel for one night and felt very comfortable. The rooms are newly furnished, clean and friendly. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the breakfast was varied and very good. The hotel is close to the Weser and directly above a small waterfall, which can also be heard at night, which didn't bother us. We would definitely come back.

We ate here to get an impression for our guests. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the menu that appealed to us. Pasta, burgers and schnitzel - nothing really appealing to us. Tastes are different, so we ordered two different schnitzel variations. Both schnitzels were probably pre-cooked and had a rather neutral breading. Tasted like molded meat. The potatoes and fries were okay. The gravy for a dish tasted like a ready-made gravy We wouldn't order these dishes again. The atmosphere was very nice, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We will recommend that our guests try the burgers; But we ourselves don't have to go there again.

We celebrated our wedding in the Weserschlösschen and are simply happy and satisfied with this choice. The tables were beautifully decorated and the arrangements with the operators were great and friendly. The food, we opted for a BBQ buffet, can hardly be topped. So incredibly tasty and imaginative. All guests praised it highly. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, very accommodating and quick. Even a spontaneous extension of the celebration was no problem. And the price should be said: more than fair☝️ For this great evening, the food, the service and everything about it, we could definitely have asked for more because it was worth every euro. Many thanks to the team for such a successful and great celebration.
