Wernesgrüner Gaststätte Kraupa in Elsterwerda

We had a lovely meal and had a lot of fun bowling. The service is very nice and everything tasted great. If you like it a little quieter, you should sit in the left part of the restaurant because you can hear the bowling alley on the right. Only recommended.

Had dinner today, so I have to say disaster. Crispy goose leg was completely soggy like it was cooked and not fried. Stuffed schnitzel with tomato and millet cheese...the end was half a tomato and I didn't see or taste much of the cheese either. Potato chips way too light and not crispy at all. The only thing we could praise was the salad.

The food and the ambience were excellent. The service tried to be friendly but unfortunately didn't always succeed. But it wouldn't stop us from going there again. We all have a bad day sometimes

It's always nice for us as club members to be catered for so well and in a friendly manner, even if we wish before the official opening hours, thank you for that.

At the weekend we were guests at a wedding at the Pension Plessa. When the dinner buffet was served, the guests' eyes widened. We found out that the catering came from the Holzhof restaurant. An amazing selection and very generous. My personal focus is on fresh and healthy food with lots of vegetables and preferably international. Tabbouleh, salmon with spinach, salmon with soy sauce, tofu (Indian), classic finger food for children... and the list could go on forever. Culinary really recommended!!
