Great dumplings, friendly service. The grandparents were also thrilled.

Everything was perfectly coordinated all around. Very friendly service and very, very tasty food. Gladly again.

The shop is definitely worth a visit if you like dumplings. Very cutely decorated and the staff is friendly. I ordered the basic menu and a cucumber lime soda. I really liked the menu because you can try a lot of different dumplings and for the price you really can't complain. I particularly liked: White Chicken (No.3), Delicious Vegan (No.6) and Red Beef (No.10). Unfortunately, the birthday sauce was too dominant for me and masked the dumpling taste. My recommendation is the peanut sauce with the black vinegar + a little chili sauce. The lemonade was very refreshing. It would have been even better if the mint, which is included as a garnish, had been crushed a little beforehand. Overall I liked it and would come back 👍

The Wei & Wei Chinese Restaurant offers friendly and helpful service, delicious food and fast service. The ambience is appealing, although I personally was missing something. A small point of criticism is that payment by credit card was not possible. Overall, I still give the restaurant four out of five stars.

We just took the dumplings course, we really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun, were able to learn a lot and ate very well. The long journey was worth it. We can recommend it to everyone. The best dumplings I’ve ever had, and easily the best food I’ve had in Aachen. WOW. I had the vegan sampler (all vegan dumplings + appetizer + dessert) and the dumplings totally blew me away. The bok choy appetizer was delicious as well!

I went there with my mom and step-father. Booking a reservation was really easy. In addition, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and aesthetic, overall. The food is great, specially the vegan gyoza, and comes quite fast. Unfortunately for us, we came as the same time as some loud college students, so it was a bit annoying. The waiter was really handsome and cute. Great place to eat dumplings, we will definitely be back.

Not authentic Chinese or Japanese, dumplings taste like Italian. Overpriced and too little food. Did not taste good. Handmade dumplings also doesn't look good. A underage Chinese kid can do better. Btw I was the only Asian person in the whole restaurant as I was dinning there. Would not recommend, white people place.

I attended an excellently prepared and conducted dumpling cooking course. There were no questions left unanswered and it was super tasty. Very clear recommendation. Great gift for every taste, whether vegan or with meat.

Wei is an excellent host who loves to take care of and engage with his guests. I don't have to say much about the food because I can say it over and over again, the best dumplings and best chicken wings there are. Highly recommended and keep it up, dear Wei & Wei team.

It is obvious that a lot of effort was put into it, but it did not appeal to us in terms of taste. Prices are too high for the portion size. They have their own special sauces and dumplings are served with them. The table was dirty when we first sat down, when we told the waiters they cleaned it immediately. While they brought chopsticks, they brought only one napkin for 2 people. It's a sweet little place, but I think it's overrated. I probably won't go again.

Die Atmosphäre im Laden ist super und die das Personal sympathisch. Vom Essen her waren die Saucen und der Nachtisch das Highlight aber die Dumpings( die vegetarisch/veganen auf jeden Fall) welche die Spezialität des Ladens sind, haben alle sehr mittelmäßig geschmeckt wobei es gefühlt keinen Unterschied zwischen den verschiedenen Sorten gab. Super Erfahrung. Das erste mal Dumplings. Meine Freundin und ich hatten das vegetarische Menü. Es war wie eine Schachtel Pralinen, man wusste nie was man bekommt 😉. Wir hatten auch Sake, sehr zu empfehlen. Hat sehr viel spass gemacht gerne wieder.

Das Essen war rundum lecker. Die Dim Sum Teigtaschen schmeckten sehr gut, vor allem die, gefüllt mit Garnelen. Aber auch die veganen. Der Service war sehr gut und Mittwochs ist Studententag, an dem man 10% Rabatt bekommt.

Eine der besten Dumplings die ich jemals gegessen habe! Ich war überrascht, dass jeder Dumpling einen sehr einzigartigen Geschmack hatte und auf seine Art heruasgestochen ist. Ich persönlich mag vegane Dumplings am liebsten und fand es daher sehr toll zu sehen, dass es eine solide Auswahl an veganen Optionen gibt. Die Soßen, die man zu seinen Dumplings schmecken alle super und meiner Meinung nach sogar noch besser, wenn man sie vermischt! Vor- und Nachspeise haben auch super gepasst und haben auch sehr lecker geschmeckt. Bedienung auch super freundlich und der allegemeine Vibe vom Restaurant war auch super! Kann man nur empfehlen.

Heerlijk (en goedkoop) diner hier gehad. Vooral de rijstballetjes als desert waren amazing. Voor veganisten is er ook heel wat te kiezen!

Вкусная еда и самый вкусный имбирный лимонад. Официант не стремилась найти нам место, но парень на баре моментально решил этот вопрос. Поэтому рекомендую. В выходные лучше заказать столик заранее, так как людей правда много.

Ich wollte schon seit 2 Jahren immer mal wieder hier essen gehen, habe aber bis heute keinen Anlass gehabt (da es ziemlich hochpreisig ist). Heute war ich da und meine Erwartungen wurden in allen Belangen erfüllt. Der große Anteil an veganen Gerichten und Varianten ist sehr angenehm, der Service war höflich und zuvorkommend und die Präsentation der Dumplings in den Dampfkörben ist meiner Meinung nach sehr hübsch. Für regelmäßige Besuche ist es mir definitiv zu teuer aber zu besonderen Anlässen finde ich es ausgesprochen angemessen.

Leider sehen die Dumplings besser aus als sie schmecken, in manchen Dumplings war irgendein Gewürz drin, was den Geschmack meiner Meinung nach verschlechtert hat. Gyoza und Frühlingsrollen waren lecker.

ABER Reservieren klappt spitze (über Webseite) & es wird auf der Webseite sehr deutlich und klar UND in hervorragendem Deutsch kenntlich gemacht, dass man mit EC-Karte zahlen kann & man evtl. Wartezeit hat. Begründung auf der Webseite unter "Reservierung". Sehr transparent. Gefällt mir :3 PS.: Meine Begleitung wurde von dem Deluxe Menü (Vor- Haupt- & Nachspeise (22,50€)) nicht satt. Ich finde, man ist danach angenehm gefüllt :D Wenn man sich RICHTIG satt essen will bestellt man halt mehr oder isst All-You-Can-Eat xD

Super Dumplings, nette Besitzer!

Dumplings are dry and chewy, makes me think like they were even pre-cooked before and just warmed up. Some of them were open and falling apart. The waiter didn’t clean the table properly after the previous guest. I had to ask for the sticks and for sauces as they forgot to bring them. There was also a misunderstanding when I ordered a large drink but instead they brought two glasses of smaller ones. Overall, disappointing experience and the price is not justified considering the food and the service.

Sehr netter service gemischt mit unglaublich leckeren dumplings. Die sehr große auswahl an verschiedenen Dumplings regt einen gum ausprobieren an. Meistens ist ausprobieren meiner erfahrung nach aber nicht einfach Aber nicht hier hier kann man ein menü nehmen indem man alle dumpling sorten mal probieren kann und das auch noch sehr preiswert. Der nachtisch hat mir auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Einer der besten läden aachens.

Die bisher besten Dim Sum die ich in Deutschland gegessen habe. Ich hatte das Menü mit Vor- und Nachspeise. Ich würde als Vorspeise die Siu Mai empfehlen und als Nachtisch die Schneebällchen. Das Red Chicken war jedoch ebenfalls lecker. Insbesondere für den ersten Besuch ist das Menü eine gute Wahl, da von jeder Sorte Dim Sum je ein Stück enthalten ist. Der Sevice war feeundlich, wenngleich er etwas aufmerksamer sein könnte. Das Ambiente ist rustikal aber gemütlich.

Das ist eigentlich Fast Food analog Döner, Currywurst und Hamburger. Kleine Teigtaschen mit unterschiedlichen Füllungen. Und genau hier setzt meine Bewertung an. Ich vergleiche nicht Äpfel mit Birnen. Das was man hier bekommt ist keine große aufwendige Kochkunst, aber es schmeckt sehr lecker. Die Ambiente ist sehr einfach gehalten. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung.

Bedienung sehr freundlich. Kleines Restaurant. Alles selbst gemacht. Es gibt auch Bier von Aachener Brauerei und chinesisches Bier.

Вулична їжа, тут завжди є вибір. Але цей заклад чомусь привернув увагу до себе. Бо гарна погода, та є пару вільних місць на вулиці. Спробували, так, це дійсно смачно, та оригінально. Цікавий смак блюд, та приємне обслуговування, що ще треба під час прогулянки містом? Ціна страв дуже доступна, чек за 2 особи 27 ойро. Окрема подяка за приємне обслуговування. Будемо знов в Аахені, обов'язково повернемось.

Ein schönes kleines Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen. Sowohl die Vorspeise als auch die verschiedenen Dumplings mit und ohne Fleisch haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Und auch die Nachspeisen war sehr interssant und lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat bei Nachfragen alles genau erklärt. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch und eine Erfahrung wert!

Vorab: ich habe berufsbedingt zehn Jahre in Asien gelebt und dort vielfach Dumplings gegessen. Wir hatten bei Wei + Wei das Basic Menü und 10 Stck. verschiedene veg. Dumplings. Abgesehen von dem unschönen optischen Erscheinungsbild (die handwerkliche Art der Formgebung) waren im Basic Menü drei Dumplings aufgebrochen, sodass der Inhalt heraustrat, bei den zehn veg. Dumplings waren sage und schreibe 8 von 10 Stück aufgebrochen - das würde man in Asien keinem Kunden wagen anzubieten. Auch geschmacklich haben die Dumplings nicht überzeugt - die Geburtstagssosse hingegen war gut. Bleibt zu wünschen, dass der Koch seine Fähigkeiten steigern kann!

Jedes Mal immer wieder gerne, die Dumplings sind lecker und zart und die Soßen sind einfach der Hammer! Mein Tipp: die Nummer 2 und die Nummer 10 zusammen mit der Geburtstagssoße! Absolutes Suchtpotenzial

Sehr lecker ich war das erste mal dort und das Basis Menü ist perfekt um herauszufinden welche Dumplings den eignen Geschmack am besten treffen. Sehr süßer Laden mit freundlicher Bedienung. Getränke waren bisschen teuer... Sonst alles tip top :D

Visited Wei Wei in December 2022 with my husband and son who we were visiting with from Australia and we all agreed that these were without doubt the very best dumplings we have ever had! The variety was amazing! We also ordered the December fried chicken wings special each and if the restaurant had been open for lunch the next day prior to us leaving Aachen, we would have gone back there again! Hope to see the owners again in 2024!

Very disappointing. This is a straight up insult to real Chinese dumplings. The fillings are overall flavorless and strange, the dumpling skins are way too tough and chewy. And the size is too big, each dumpling should be a perfect one bite, not a pierogi.

War zum ersten Mal dort und bin echt begeistert. Dumplings muss man mal probiert haben. Als Einsteiger kann ich das Basic Menü empfehlen :-)

Ein schöner kleiner Laden, in dem klassische Dumplings angeboten werden. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle samt sehr nett und das Interieur ist auch sehr schön. Das Essen wurde rasch zubereitet. Es schmeckt alles sehr gut und man hat verschiedene Soßen zur Auswahl, sei es schwer, würzig oder eben mild. Einziges Manko: die Stäbchen sind leider nicht aus Holz, sondern aus Kunststoff (?). Jedenfalls; einen Besuch ist Wei & Wei absolut wert.

Wir haben bei Wei Dumplings für unsere Hochzeit bestellt und sind total begeistert. Unseren Gästen und uns hat es super gut geschmeckt - die Dumplings wurden bis in die Nacht gegessen, da sie auch kalt sehr gut schmecken und man so immer tolles Fingerfood hatte. Nun ist alles leer und wir möchten uns bedanken. Wei ist super unkompliziert und hat uns gut beraten - er hat nicht Mal Pfand für die Boxen genommen. PS: Auch die Fleischfans waren von den veganen Dumplings überzeugt :)

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe im Wei&Wei. Die Bedienung war super freundlich, die Stühle leider nichts für meinen Rücken. Das Essen war mal was neues. Ich hatte bis zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nie Dumplings gegessen. Leider war die Vorspeise das, was mir persönlich am besten geschmeckt hat. Für gemütliche Runden in der Gruppe eher nichts, für einen Snack zwischendurch wenn man Dumplings mag bestimmt.

Sehr lecker, netter Service und schönes Ambiente.
