Amazing place for some incredible dumplings.

As part of the market in the city center today, we ate dumplings here – simply fantastic and super delicious! The price/performance ratio is right! We'd be happy to go again.

I'm really impressed. I've been there twice already, and everything is just perfect. The atmosphere, the service, and the food. I'd love to come back!

A truly delicious dumpling restaurant. I was there for the first time today, but it tasted very good. It was also recommended to me by someone who is from China and has experience with this kind of food. The restaurant also offers dumpling cooking classes once a month. These always take place on a Sunday and last five hours. I think I'll give them a try.

Really, really good! We were at the Chio in Aachen yesterday, and there was a Wei&Wei booth there. The prices were really good. The food was very fresh and really tasty. The staff there (probably from the restaurant) were extremely friendly. We'd be happy to go again!

A very pleasant little restaurant. The concept is really good. The service is excellent, and the menu is very good and tasty. A great discovery.

Unfortunately, I have to change my opinion. A year ago it was delicious and the service was engaged. Now you have to wait a very long time for someone to take an interest in you. All the dumplings are very, very spicy and you can't taste any other ingredients, only the spiciness. Waste of money.

Very disappointing experience. The place is supposed to close at 10pm. We reach at 9 and are told that apparently on “some” days, if there’s no one at the restaurant by 8:30, they only allow takeaways since apparently it’s pricier to sit people down, which…how?! No one knows. And apparently it’s “not always like this”, which, how convenient. To compensate we were given a Gutschein of a dessert, which you can only select out of two set options, provided you spend above 50€, and as someone who doesn’t spend more than 35€ on average there, I’m sure you can imagine how helpful that is. For someone looking forward to a nice, warm meal after a long day, this was deeply disappointing and seemed more like an excuse for those present there to close up shop early. (1) If it’s an actual thing, mention it on Google or your website (2) if you truly feel sorry, compensate people accordingly.

Many thanks again to the super lovely staff who saved my evening! Personally, the vegan dumplings were far too spicy for me and when I asked if all of the dumplings (there are 5 different types in the vegan menu) were that spicy, the staff immediately offered to bring non-spicy alternatives instead, at no additional charge. Hence the point that the spiciness levels of the dishes are unfortunately not yet noted on the menu. My companion, who is less sensitive to spiciness, also found the meat dumplings a bit spicy and the vegan ones very spicy (which may have been due to the kimchi). Nevertheless, the food was very tasty! We would particularly recommend the gyozas!

I wanted to try something new and ate dumplings for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised because I really liked them. The ambience and service were also good. The only point of criticism: the recommended amount of 10 dumplings didn't fill me up. So for people with healthy appetites and higher hunger levels, this could be a very expensive affair.

The dumpling is really tasty and I definitely recommend to get their kombi-menu. The price is a bit more expensive and you might not feel really full afterward because of the thin dumpling skin (but that's why it's good!) I also got their tangyuan which is really tasty. The restaurant does offer stampcard and also a voucher for dessert (I forgot what deal exactly they offer within the voucher) for over 50€ spending.

We were there today for the intensive dumpling cooking course. It was: Great. Clear recommendation. Mr. Wei and his team are simply fantastic.

Cute little place, the counter is just a bit cluttered. Unfortunately, I didn't like either the sauces or the dumplings, the birthday sauce was almost like soy sauce only much more sour, the chilli sauce is very oily. There is hardly any difference between the types of dumplings and I think it's a shame that there are so many "small things" in the dumplings “ is in there, I’m missing the firmer mass there.

The dumplings and sauces are like therapy for the soul - heavenly delicious. I also think the music is perfect for the very relaxed and calm atmosphere. I felt really re-grounded after the meal, despite my stressful day at work :D

Great dumpling restaurant in Aachen. After a trip to the city we went to eat here. The menu is kept small, dumplings are the focus. There are around 9 different fillings, with and without meat. We enjoyed it. The service was also good. We can make a recommendation.

The shop is definitely worth a visit if you like dumplings. Very cutely decorated and the staff is friendly. I ordered the basic menu and a cucumber lime soda. I really liked the menu because you can try a lot of different dumplings and for the price you really can't complain. I particularly liked: White Chicken (No.3), Delicious Vegan (No.6) and Red Beef (No.10). Unfortunately, the birthday sauce was too dominant for me and masked the dumpling taste. My recommendation is the peanut sauce with the black vinegar + a little chili sauce. The lemonade was very refreshing. It would have been even better if the mint, which is included as a garnish, had been crushed a little beforehand. Overall I liked it and would come back 👍

Delicious homemade dumplings and affordable too! The staff is super friendly and it has a cozy atmosphere. There is self-service for drinks and sauces.

The Wei & Wei Chinese Restaurant offers friendly and helpful service, delicious food and fast service. The ambience is appealing, although I personally was missing something. A small point of criticism is that payment by credit card was not possible. Overall, I still give the restaurant four out of five stars.

We just took the dumplings course, we really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun, were able to learn a lot and ate very well. The long journey was worth it. We can recommend it to everyone. The best dumplings I’ve ever had, and easily the best food I’ve had in Aachen. WOW. I had the vegan sampler (all vegan dumplings + appetizer + dessert) and the dumplings totally blew me away. The bok choy appetizer was delicious as well!

I went there with my mom and step-father. Booking a reservation was really easy. In addition, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and aesthetic, overall. The food is great, specially the vegan gyoza, and comes quite fast. Unfortunately for us, we came as the same time as some loud college students, so it was a bit annoying. Not authentic Chinese or Japanese, dumplings taste like Italian. Overpriced and too little food. Did not taste good. Handmade dumplings also doesn't look good. A underage Chinese kid can do better. Btw I was the only Asian person in the whole restaurant as I was dinning there. Would not recommend, white people place.

I attended an excellently prepared and conducted dumpling cooking course. There were no questions left unanswered and it was super tasty. Very clear recommendation. Great gift for every taste, whether vegan or with meat.

Wei is an excellent host who loves to take care of and engage with his guests. I don't have to say much about the food because I can say it over and over again, the best dumplings and best chicken wings there are. Highly recommended and keep it up, dear Wei & Wei team.

It is obvious that a lot of effort was put into it, but it did not appeal to us in terms of taste. Prices are too high for the portion size. They have their own special sauces and dumplings are served with them. The table was dirty when we first sat down, when we told the waiters they cleaned it immediately. While they brought chopsticks, they brought only one napkin for 2 people. It's a sweet little place, but I think it's overrated. I probably won't go again.

Die Atmosphäre im Laden ist super und die das Personal sympathisch. Super Erfahrung. Das erste mal Dumplings. Meine Freundin und ich hatten das vegetarische Menü. Es war wie eine Schachtel Pralinen, man wusste nie was man bekommt 😉. Wir hatten auch Sake, sehr zu empfehlen. Hat sehr viel spass gemacht gerne wieder.

Das Essen war rundum lecker. Die Dim Sum Teigtaschen schmeckten sehr gut, vor allem die, gefüllt mit Garnelen. Aber auch die veganen. Der Service war sehr gut und Mittwochs ist Studententag, an dem man 10% Rabatt bekommt.

Best dumplings in whole Germany

Eine der besten Dumplings die ich jemals gegessen habe! Ich war überrascht, dass jeder Dumpling einen sehr einzigartigen Geschmack hatte und auf seine Art heruasgestochen ist. Ich persönlich mag vegane Dumplings am liebsten und fand es daher sehr toll zu sehen, dass es eine solide Auswahl an veganen Optionen gibt. Die Soßen, die man zu seinen Dumplings schmecken alle super und meiner Meinung nach sogar noch besser, wenn man sie vermischt! Vor- und Nachspeise haben auch super gepasst und haben auch sehr lecker geschmeckt. Bedienung auch super freundlich und der allegemeine Vibe vom Restaurant war auch super! Kann man nur empfehlen.

Der Herr der uns bedient hat, war sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat uns nicht so geschmeckt. Aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.

Heerlijk (en goedkoop) diner hier gehad. Vooral de rijstballetjes als desert waren amazing. Voor veganisten is er ook heel wat te kiezen!

Ich wollte schon seit 2 Jahren immer mal wieder hier essen gehen, habe aber bis heute keinen Anlass gehabt (da es ziemlich hochpreisig ist). Heute war ich da und meine Erwartungen wurden in allen Belangen erfüllt. Der große Anteil an veganen Gerichten und Varianten ist sehr angenehm, der Service war höflich und zuvorkommend und die Präsentation der Dumplings in den Dampfkörben ist meiner Meinung nach sehr hübsch. Für regelmäßige Besuche ist es mir definitiv zu teuer aber zu besonderen Anlässen finde ich es ausgesprochen angemessen.

Leider sehen die Dumplings besser aus als sie schmecken, in manchen Dumplings war irgendein Gewürz drin, was den Geschmack meiner Meinung nach verschlechtert hat. Gyoza und Frühlingsrollen waren lecker.

Umso mehr tat es mir Leid, dass ihr an diesem Dienstag Abend so viel allein zugemutet wurde :c War auch eher unerwartet voll, aber dennoch. Das Essen kann man sich gern mal geben, schmeckt supi :3 Das Essen dauerte etwas aber das war okay. Mehr Unterstützung trotzdem für das liebe Mädel bitte ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ. Ambiente ist schön. Etwas klein aber schön :D Doof wird es, wenn es voll wird.. man hat nicht aallzuviel Platz zu den nächsten Gästen. Kann stören aber ist nicht sehr schlimm. ABER Reservieren klappt spitze (über Webseite) & es wird auf der Webseite sehr deutlich und klar UND in hervorragendem Deutsch kenntlich gemacht, dass man mit EC-Karte zahlen kann & man evtl. Wartezeit hat. Begründung auf der Webseite unter "Reservierung". Sehr transparent. Gefällt mir :3 PS.: Meine Begleitung wurde von dem Deluxe Menü (Vor- Haupt- & Nachspeise (22,50€)) nicht satt. Ich finde, man ist danach angenehm gefüllt :D Wenn man sich RICHTIG satt essen will bestellt man halt mehr oder isst All-You-Can-Eat xD

Super Dumplings, nette Besitzer!

Dumplings are dry and chewy, makes me think like they were even pre-cooked before and just warmed up. Some of them were open and falling apart. The waiter didn’t clean the table properly after the previous guest. I had to ask for the sticks and for sauces as they forgot to bring them. There was also a misunderstanding when I ordered a large drink but instead they brought two glasses of smaller ones. Overall, disappointing experience and the price is not justified considering the food and the service.

Sehr netter service gemischt mit unglaublich leckeren dumplings. Die sehr große auswahl an verschiedenen Dumplings regt einen gum ausprobieren an. Meistens ist ausprobieren meiner erfahrung nach aber nicht einfach Aber nicht hier hier kann man ein menü nehmen indem man alle dumpling sorten mal probieren kann und das auch noch sehr preiswert. Der nachtisch hat mir auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Einer der besten läden aachens.
