WANNA EAT in Berlin

There are so many Asian restaurants in Berlin and we have eaten much better in all of them. The dumplings did not taste good and the soup broth was bland.

We ordered the steamed orange chicken momos and got 2 sauces with it. In total it costed us 9,50 euros which is a good price for 10 pieces. The service was good, no doubt. I really liked the sauces, however, the momos had more of the wheat flour and less chicken. Also, the flour was a bit too much to chew on. P.S.: I’m not a food critic but I have had enough momos in my life to differentiate between the good ones and not so good ones.

The noodles and tofu as a topping were delicious! Unfortunately, the ambience is not comfortable enough to linger for a long time, especially due to the poor acoustics. I'd still like to come back when I'm too lazy to cook 😊

Food was delicious. Staff very attentive and nice. I definitely recommend. Xin Jiang Red dumplings awoken every cell in my body (they are spicy). Daddy's noodle soup replenish all the water and nutrients I've lost dancing last night.

I love dumplings and homemade Chinese noodles, so my girlfriend and I really wanted to try this place - we moved to the neighborhood a few days ago and are looking for "regular restaurants". 🥟🥟🥟 Small restaurant with a small menu, very promising. Unfortunately we are a bit disappointed. Of course, good food and especially handmade quality costs something, but we still found the prices to be quite high. Unfortunately, we didn't like the taste of both the homemade noodles (with a rather dry, small chicken leg) and the three different dumplings. In addition, we found the atmosphere in the store to be a bit uncomfortable, also because people were cleaning up loudly during the meal. We really don't want to be mean and really wanted to like the cute shop, but unfortunately it wasn't for us. But we would like to come back and try another dish.

The ravioli are excellent and the accompanying sauces are also excellent, the pasta is good :)

Got it delivered and it wasn’t worth it, undercooked thick pieces of dough with barely any filling 😪

WannaEat is my passion. I could eat it morning, lunch and evening. I live for WannaEat.

The interior is outstanding and staff is very friendly. Disappointment is quality of meals compared to price. You will be paying 8 euros for just noodels with sauce and no vegetable.

My favorite is burgundy beef dumplings, but literally everything they have on the menu is super delicious. The staff is also very friendly, it is always a pleasure to have a meal here!

Outstanding food, honestly - lovely people, delicious hot sauce

Very tasty and fairly quick dumplings. Particularly good the Xin Jiang Red although quite spicy (as explained in the menu), but my girlfriend was in love also with Mom's original. And talking about mom, Mom's sauce is pretty clever. Last but not least, knowing that they don't use glutamate is incredible. Highly recommend. Only constructive feedback is on the beer choice, Beck's as alcohol free is quite undrinkable (personal taste), better choice would be Jever Fun or Warstein herb.

Delicious dumplings, you can get them steamed or fried. I love that they allow us to mix & match, so we can try more than one type.

I ordered my food they told me to wait 15 minutes but after 20 minutes I asked if it was ready One of the staff one with glasses and a little full treats me disgustingly very aggressive and insults people I will ask if you can take measures because you will not have customers because of similar attitude

No tap water offered and I don’t agree with that when with a meal. Food is good, disappointed service that you are asked to also put the tray back yourself though ~

Please do not show up 20 minutes before the end of opening hours and disrupt the employees' after-work routine. Thanks!

Worst dumplings I’ve ever had in berlin with 0 taste, dried and barely any sauce to dip them.

I felt like something different again and somehow dumplings always work. The Rainbow Plate is a really good choice. 16 dumplings, 4 dips and even a sweet dessert option. In the end, I liked it so much that I wanted to post a review and pictures immediately afterwards and diligently advertise it among my friends.

Dumplings really aren’t very good - super thick and lacks of flavor, the sauces are excellent though. No tap water policy.

I got Shanghai noodles with beef, I will come back to eat again for sure. The beef make so soft and intense so good. The noodle even take away it’s still so perfect. I love the chilli oil here too. Perfect

A friend recommended this restaurant to me and it was really good! Easily accessible and located in a very popular area, at Rathaus Neukölln, we went there on a weekday evening. There weren't a lot of customers, so it might be good to go soon before it'll become crowded in the future. :) The interior is very clean and easy on the eye. From the counter, you can glimpse into the kitchen which is quite interesting! Menus are available on the wall or as cards and although it doesn't seem like much, there are quite a lot of different dishes, especially dumplings, to study! We each ordered a noodle dish as well as the "rainbow plate", an assortment of all variations as well as the sweet type. Orders arrived after an appropriate waiting time (approx. 10 mins.) and were still slightly warm. The noodles were really chewy and savory thanks to the sauce. The dumplings each had distinctive, unique flavours and a perfect texture - soft and chewy above and crispy on the ground. If you cannot decide and consume meat, this is definitely worth a try! Prices are a real steal (~10€ per dish) considering the area as well as rising prices overall. The staff was also very kind and patient throughout the ordering process. Otherwise, it's self service so you can easily grab anything you need from cutlery to additional sugar for your drink. All in all, a very nice place to get to know Chinese style dumplings or slurp away one of the yummy noodle dishes for a decent price. Vegetarian and Vegan options are available.

Ein mega cooles Dumpling Restaurant in Neukölln. 🥟🥟🥟 Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an diversen Dumplings mit verschiedensten Füllungen und auch Nudelgerichte. Es gibt viele vegane Optionen.🌿 Die Dumplings gibt es gedämpft oder gebraten und sie schmecken absolut köstlich. Besonders lecker fanden wir die Healthy Green Dumplings. Es gibt eine Auswahl an diversen Soßen, diese sind sehr geschmackvoll. Die hauseigenen Eistees sind herb und sehr lecker. Das Personal war freundlich, das Ambiente im Lokal war entspannt und die Optik stylish. 👍🏻 Vor Ort ist Kartenzahlung (ab 10€) möglich und eine Reservierung vorab war nicht nötig.

Good noodles. But the boss was rude. Not sure if it was end of the night stress, but the boss rather rudely told us to put the trays there and not there. I understand you have a process, and that I didn’t see the sign. But the rude attitude, please spare me. I will take my money and time elsewhere. Probably won’t be going back there any time soon. Definitely not to dine in. I’m sure I wasn’t the first one to return the tray in the wrong place. Design a better restaurant.

Self-made dumbling &noodles. Good taste, fresh, a bit different to real Chinese one, but still delicious. Price affordable and fair. Interiour&set-up simple.

I found the homemade dumplings to be fresh and delicious. Intriguing combination of ingredients and sauces. I appreciated also the sweet dumpling with a coco cream. Not too sweet. The perfect way to end a meal. The dumpling showcase and the open kitchen makes you understand the quality of the work. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The stuff are friendly and helpful.

Food was bland, not very complex flavours. When I asked for something spicy I was told I could only have chilli oil for 80 cents and that there’s no simple chilli flakes I could get. I found it unfriendly.

I live the atmosphere of the place its vibrant and bright. The servers are kind enough and optically speaking the dumplings are a sight! In my opinion the dough is a bit too thick so it gets hard to distinguish the flavors of the filling. They have lots of options including vegan dumplings. While I consider the dumplings to be good they taste like they were fitted for the German taste palate and not that authentic. The menu version is definitely worth checking out. Sadly they only offer the tiniest bit of sauce and every refill is an additional 80 cents.🤯 The moms original dumpling tastes the best, subjectively speaking. You sometimes have to wait a long time for your food.

We sat down to eat in the evening, the place is decorated and the service is pleasant, we took a wide variety of dishes, unfortunately the food was bland and not tasty, there were not enough vegetables, there was minimal or no seasoning and in general there was a feeling that it was German cuisine disguised as cuisine from the East, very disappointing, we will not return

Really great dumplings and the sauces are so good too! Pan fried makes them crispier. The darkest dumpling is sweet - eat it last for dessert! Yummmm

if you’re new to authentic asian food - you need to visit this place. very interesting and delicious taste of dumplings. i took golden india & orange chicken with yuzu ice tea. it was sooo good 😌 the woman who served us was incredibly kind and comfortable to speak with ☺️

Early evening but 4 or 5 tables of young people apart from us oldies and everyone obviously enjoying excellent freshly cooked meals. I had Katie's noodles and my husband had healthy dumplings - wonderful

Good dim sum. Quality is good for what it is. A take away focused restaurant. It was almost empty when we went, but it took a while for the food to be ready because of all the online wolt order pickups. Taste was good, but nothing special. You can pick & mix the different flavours.

I have been to this place on multiple occasions and I have never been disappointed. Really traditional, authentic Hong Kong style dumplings. Definitely worth a try!

Papa's Rezept schmeckt sehr fein, aber die Dumplings setzen doch noch einen drauf. Zuerst dacht ich ja das ist am Boden zu stark gebraten, aber es ist genau richtig, verwegen Mischung von knusp und smoo love to Dumpschlingelings!

Haben Kay's noodles mit Rindfleisch bestellt für 15€ und Shanghai noodles mit Rindfleisch für 13€. Ich bin ehrlich etwas schockiert über diese Preise. Nichts rechtfertigen 15 Euro für dieses Nudelgericht. Ich habe bis auf Salat (paar Karotten, Gurken) kein Gemüse in den Nudeln (die angegebenen Paprika und Aubergine zB) gefunden. Geschmacklich sind beide Nudelgerichte nicht voneinander zu unterscheiden, weil beide leider nach wenig bis nichts schmecken. Musste ordentlich nachsalzen. Die Konsistenz der Nudeln ist lecker, man merkt, dass sie selbstgemacht sind, aber alles andere schmeckte nach nichts. Große Enttäuschung für den Preis. Die Dumplings (vegetarisch) waren allerdings sehr lecker. Tolle Konsistenz und leckere Füllung. Auch die wanna eat Sauce hatte eine tolle Schärfe. Deshalb die sehr gut gemeinten großzügigen 3 Sterne. Trotzdem finde ich die Preise zu hoch für das was geboten wird. Deshalb würde ich nicht nochmal bei euch bestellen.

Wir waren dort mit einer etwas größeren Gruppe. Die Stühle wurden umgestellt damit wir alle Platz finden :) Die Dumplings waren alle wirklich sehr gut, aber ich würde immer wieder zu den vegetarischen (oder veganen?) greifen. Geschmacklich waren sie super. Wir haben nicht alle Soßen ausprobiert, aber zu gebratenen/gedämpften Dumplings empfehle ich besonders die Soßen mit Essig um das fettige zu neutralisieren. Die Homemade Drinks waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, nichts atemberaubendes, aber dafür mit wenig Zucker, so wie ich es präferiere. Das Ambiente war nett und die Kellner freundlich; die Wartezeit war etwas lang, wobei sehr viel zur Lieferung bestellt wurde. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Es ist auch sehr günstig für die Qualität. PS: Wir hatten nur gedämpfte Dumplings, keine warmen Gerichte.

ich fand die dumplings leider nicht soo gut, vorallem dass sie in großen mengen im schaufenster gelagert werden hat zumindest bei meinen dazu geführt dass der teig ausgetrocknet war, vielleicht hab ich auch generell ein paar etwas ältere dumplings abbekommen, und deswegen haben sie nicht so gut geschmeckt. an sich aber schöner laden und cooles konzept

Sehr nette Atmosphäre und Personal. Die vegetarischen Dumplings (und Saucen) waren super, auf jeden Fall ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Klare Empfehlung!

Erstbesuch, eigentlich nix los, 20min Wartezeit, Plastikschale, halbvoll, Nudelgericht, Geschmack common tourist ok, sojasüß, ölig, langweilig salzig, simpel, fruehlingszwieblig, plempig, hochdicht, 2eur Aufpreis für 4 Scheiben Tofu, am Ende nicht satt, nicht glücklich. Vielleicht sind die Dumplings ihren Preis wert. Positiv: gut dass ich keine 4eur Beilage zum Probieren bestellt habe. Fazit: bis jetzt nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Mindere Kantinenqualität, zu hohe Preise, sehr pomadig

Dumplings were yummy! I like that they reinvented dumplings but personally I felt the fillings almost all tasted the same and the dough was too thick for me. Quite different than the dumplings you get in China. Interior felt a bit cold hearted and impersonal.

Very germanized food for quite high prices (for what you get). I had the noodles, it came almost room temperature and felt more like a mediocre pasta. It was suppose to be with aubergine and ginger, but i didn't see or taste and of it. It was 11 EUR with an egg topping (everything is extra) and i got a very small not full bowl. Paid 14 EUR with a drink and finished my lunch at home, as i was still quite hungry.

Sehr sympathisch und alles sehr lecker. Mit dem Menü macht man nach meiner Einschätzung nach nichts falsch. Ich mochte die simplicity sehr

sensationell leckere Dumplings und Nudeln aus selbst gemachtem Teig. Ich glaub, sie leiden etwas unter dem Andrang, so kann es vorkommen, dass es Gerichte nicht mehr gibt oder es etwas länger dauert. Der Spot ist ein bisschen "off the mark" aber lohnt sich. Und die Dumplings machen erstaunlich satt. Update: Immer noch sensationell gut. Nicht wundern: die Auswahl ist etwas eingeschränkt. Es gibt 3 verschiedene Sorten selbstgemachte Nudeln, eine (?) Suppe und 8 verschiedene Dumplings. Das war's im Prinzip. Wir haben uns ein Nudelgericht und eine Rainbow-Plate (mit allen Sorten Dumplings) geteilt und waren satt. Besonders interessant (im positiven Sinne) waren die Nachtischdumplings mit Kokos und Erdnüssen und die Dumplings, die nicht die 0815-Füllungen hatten, die man sonst so bekommt (Schwein, Shrimp, Rinder-Hackfleisch). Leute, geht da hin und probiert es!

I ordered delivery via Wolt and the food came on time, no problems. I recommend their dumpling sample - every single one of them was delicious. Sauces were nice also, I just wish there would be more of each sauce. The pork noodles had a really nice flavor but could use more actual pork in them. Overall a positive experience.

Dieses Restaurant ist eines der besten, in denen ich jemals gegessen habe! Die frisch zubereiteten Dumplings gibt es in vielen Variationen, sodass für jeden, sowohl Fleischliebhaber als auch Vegetarier, etwas dabei ist. Vor allem die verschiedenen Soßen, die man auswählen kann, machen das Essen zu etwas ganz besonderem! Außerdem fühlt man sich total wohl in der gemütlichen Atmosphäre und das Personal ist mehr als freundlich und zuvorkommend 🥰 Ein absolutes Muss bei jedem unserer Berlin-Besuche! 😍

음식의 맛은 평범하고 양이 정말 많아요 우육탕면? 같은 국수에 토핑을 고를 수 있는데 저는 소고기 남자친구는 닭다리를 골랐어요 직접 가서 계산하고 음식을 받아오고 다시 그릇을 가져다 놓는 형식이에요 카드계산도 가능해요 만두는 한국 만두와 흡사한 맛 이에요 하나는 돼지고기 기본메뉴 , 하나는 매운 오랜지 치킨만두를 시켰는데 정말 매워서 입맛에 맞았어요 .. 단점은 음식이 정말 오래 걸리고 가격이 비쌌어요 두명이 40유로 정도 나왔고 재방문은 안할 것 같아요

Super schmackhafte Dumplings von klassisch bis ausgefallen ohne ins Experimentelle abzudriften. Haben vier Varianten probiert und die veganen mit Pilzen und Moms Original waren die Favoriten. Man spürt, dass hier jeder einzelne Dumpling mit Liebe gemacht wird. Kommen gerne wieder!

Very important point: order the hot chilli Sichuan pepper sauce (.80c) to add to the pork noodles. We started off eating them plain but they were quite basic. The chilli sauce brings out the absolute best of the noodles and minced pork. The vegan aubergine noodles were also lovely. Dumplings looked gorgeous but we didn’t try them on this visit. Really cool little joint. Will definitely be back. (Card payment available from 10€)

The dumplings were very tasty and they have many vegan options. I order a large portion for myself and was a good amount. However the sauces that had soy sauce tasted almost the same between them. The one with peanut was very good. My friend ordered the noodle soup and it was very disappointing. Not really tasty. I recommend to get dumplings when going there , they are worth it. The spicy one was not really spicy but still, it was very tasty.

Wir hatten die Platten mit allen Sorten probiert und jede einzelne Sorte war mega LECKER. Die Soßen haben auch super geschmeckt dazu. Der Rotkohl Coleslaw mit Sesam war auch eine Note 1. Dazu hatte ich einen Yuzu Green Tea, der auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Das Highlight waren die süßen Dumplings mit Kichererbsen, Kokus usw. Ein Traum. Als wir fertig waren wurde noch gefragt, wie uns alles geschmeckt hat :) 100% Weiterempfehlung!!!

Kleine Auswahl an Nudelgerichten, Dumplings und Desserts. Perfekt um hier seine Mittagspause zu verbringen Es gibt auch Menüs , so dass man Nudeln , Dumplings und ein Getränk haben kann. Gerichte gibt es mit Fleisch, vegetarisch und auch vegan. Ich hab mich für die veganen Nudeln und veganen Dumplings entschieden. War alles sehr lecker. Die Dumplings bekommt man entweder gedämpft oder gebraten. War hier schon mehrfach und sowohl gedämpft als auch gebraten sind die Dumplings sehr lecker. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und man merkt , dass mit Liebe zubereitet wird Werde definitiv wieder vorbeischauen.

Food is overpriced and we were refused a glass of tap water. A noodle soup for 11€ should contain more than a bland broth and some pieces of cabbage. Overall not a great experience...

Finally managed to eat there, after months of takeaway only and unexpected closures. Tried noodles but next time will go for dumplings as they looked delicious. Fair prices. A lot of vegan and vegetarian options available. Friendly staff. Card payment possible. Definitely check it out if you’re into Chinese cuisine!

Super leckere Dumplings mit passenden Soßen - ein Traum! Bei der Rainbow Plate sind alle Sorten 2x dabei, jede einzelne schmeckt anders und auf ihre Weise top. Es ist auch sehr sauber und das Team ist total freundlich. 10/10!

My noodles were luke warm and though meaty, flavorless. The pork dumplings taste like paste. The dough is thick and undercooked. Another overpriced passing off of cheap ingredients to non- Chinese? Is it impossible to get pork that tastes like anything in Germany?

Schöne Atmosphäre, sehr leckeres Essen, professioneller Familienbetrieb. Der Laden ist wie das Essen: unaufdringlich aber besonders - es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Dumplings, vegan und mit Fleisch, dazu für jeden Geschmack die passenden Saucen, und die selbstgemachten Ice Teas sind auch top! Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert, wir haben direkt nachbestellt weil es so lecker war (und die Preise passen auch). Die Dumplings sind der Hit, aber ich habe mich auch ein bisschen in den Tapiokapudding zum Nachtisch verliebt :-) Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir hatten zweimal die Shanghai Noodles im Menü mit den Purple Pocket Dumplings. Preis/Leistung stimmt hierbei vollkommen und es lohnt sich das Menü zu wählen. Geschmacklich waren die Nudeln mal etwas anderes, aber dennoch sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Dumplings waren geschmacklich gut abgepasst auf die Soße, jedoch sagt mir persönlich ein etwas dünnerer Teig eher zu. Alles in allem, ist dieses Restaurant aufjedenfall einen Versuch wert und das Personal war überaus freundlich!

Ein toller Besuch! Ich wollte mir ein eigenes Bild der vielen tollen Bewertungen machen und wurde absolut nicht enttäuscht. Die Auswahl der verschiedenen Dumplings ist großartig, so viele verschiedene Sorten und bis auf eine, die meinen persönlichen Geschmack nicht getroffen hat (die meiner Begleitung aber schon) würde ich jede Sorte wieder bestellen. Auch die süßen Dumplings waren eine tolle Überraschung und mal etwas ganz anderes. Die Nudeln waren ebenfalls großartig! Insgesamt kann ich es auf jeden Fall mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Das Essen ist super. Wir hatten eine Auswahl jeder Dumplingsorte, jede einzelne empfehlenswert. Perfekt zum Mittag, man ist nach 6 oder 10 Stück gut satt aber kann noch denken :) Dazu ein wirklich herzliches Team und schön minimalistisch eingerichteter Laden. Gehört ab jetzt fest zum Mittags-Repertoire in Neukölln.
