Just very average food, pre prepared, comes extremely quickly, very dry long time ago boiled reis, the food has nothing to do with the original Chinese kitchen. To expensive for the quality.The interior is very pretty, classy old times RFN. Very cold inside tho . service is very nice. Just a place to go with grandma.

I just had dinner here again with the family: for me it's the best Chinese restaurant I know! Whenever I'm back home, I try to plan a visit. The atmosphere is wonderfully decorated, the service is always friendly, courteous and personable. The food is always a poem! You can tell that all the dishes are individually prepared and seasoned! Large, adequate portions with a very good price/performance ratio. I can fully recommend all of the dishes on the menu!

A Chinese as we love and know him. Here everything is a bit like it used to be and yet contemporary. I am impressed by the taste and quality of the food. Everything is clean, the service is friendly and the food comes quickly. The restaurant is always busy - which says a lot.

Das Restaurant war am Abend sehr gut besucht. Trotzdem wurden wir sehr freundlich, gut und schnell versorgt. Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut und die Portionen waren üppig. Wir empfehlen das Wan-Loi sehr gerne weiter!

The furnishings are traditionally cozy. Can fully recommend the restaurant. If I'm in Berlin again, I'll definitely come back here to eat

Update July 18, 2024 it is still a good Chinese restaurant in Rudow with good quality. Very focused on a consistent level of success throughout. The standard remains high. Highly recommended as a regular guest. Accessible by wheelchair and walker as there is ground level access Always had good food for years. Always tastes good. Service is always relaxed, competent, friendly and balanced. Quiet restaurant. Beautiful interior with a huge aquarium. In summer you can also sit outside. You will receive a warm welcome. You always feel comfortable there in Wan-Loi. Even after years there is a consistently good selection of food. There is also lunch for those who can. Own parking spaces. At the restaurant. Prices are ok for the quality. Family atmosphere, delicious food, many regulars, lunch is well received. Upgrade September 26th, 2024

Nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and ambience. Corona hygiene is taken into account. Very good value for money. Tasty, plentiful food and friendly staff. Extensive offer. Always happy.

Good Cantonese cuisine with extremely good service

Hmm. I can't understand the good reviews about the food. It started with the drink, Berliner Weisse green. This one came with blue foam, which surprised me. After the first sip it was clear that it was anything but woodruff syrup. The sour hot soup not only smelled like Maggi, but also tasted mostly like it. Completely over-seasoned. The baked chicken didn't look like chicken, tasted like it had been fried several times and the chicken jumped out of the deep fryer in between. If you want to take something with you that you didn't manage to take with you, the packaging costs 1 euro, for the sake of the environment. Hmm. You can do it, but you don't have to. Everything seems a bit outdated. All in all, this was a failure. Service was ok.

The sour-spicy soup tastes a lot like Maggi... Our meal with chicken was very dry and breaded several times. All in all... We won't go there anymore and definitely can't recommend it!

Delicious food without the taste of soy sauce and flavor enhancers like many other Chinese restaurants. The Pak-Po duck for 2 people and the various teas are uniquely good and delicious. Our favorite among the “Chinese”. We always see each other with super-friendly and humorous service. And today again the duck, crispy without a fat crust and with prawns, chicken and juicy beef. Heavenly delicious. And finally a bamboo schnapps.

We were there with our children on July 17th. there 😊🌻the owners are very family friendly and accommodating. 😊 The food was absolutely amazing 🌻🌷 The next day our children were still raving about how beautiful it was there. 🌻🌷

Wan-Loi is a popular Chinese restaurant with the usual decor. There are no surprises with the card either. The service is very quick and friendly. The food is of good quality. The prices are still very moderate. A lunch menu is also available during the week. Conclusion: highly recommended.

Always happy. Eating the way I want it. We are probably the rarity with chopsticks - eating it the way it should be. Always fun. Reminds us of China. Beautifully traditionally adapted to us Europeans. Always with bamboo schnapps! In memory of the snake schnapps there (joking)! Traditional ambience. We feel very comfortable there. Service friendly and accommodating.

Very nice and spontaneous evening at Wan-Loi, nice service and a pleasant atmosphere. Drinks and food were served quickly. The highly praised sour spicy soup was really good, but it was too fine for me, I prefer to chew something and feel something in my mouth. My father makes his own sour hot soup, so I'm very spoiled in this regard. Our meals were large enough and tasty, the meat was good and with lots of vegetables and sauce. The prices are average, rather normal. All around a successful meal. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back. But I still have to give a bit of constructive criticism to the tables. If the plastic supports were replaced with glass plates, it would have a much higher quality impression and wouldn't seem so "cheap".

To be honest, I don't understand the good reviews at all. Went there for my brother's birthday and no one at our table (5 adults) was happy with their food. My duck consisted only of cartilage and triple-fried, overly thick breading. Two of the meals were at most lukewarm and one was completely oversalted. Given that the prices are quite stable, I find it particularly wrong. It's better to order something to take away from 'China Ecke Mauer'!!!

Sehr gute Mittagsmenüs in Quantität und Qualität aber auch die anderen Angebote sind empfehlenswert. Leider sind dieses Jahr die Preise heftig gestiegen.

Ich mag diesen Laden sehr. Ich war hier vor 6 Jahren als Kind das erste Mal und seitdem immer häufiger. Hier habe ich das Essen mit Stübchen gelernt. Der Kellner, welcher mir das damals beigebracht hat, arbeitet immer noch dort. Das Essen und der Service und auch das Ambiente sind sehr schön und immer wieder angenehm. Der besagte Kellner hat auch ein super Gedächtnis. Meine Gerichte, das Trinken, sowie das Essen mit Stäbchen (was er mir ja beibrachte), vergisst er nie und fragt nur „wie immer?“. Also sehr angenehm und nur zu empfehlen!

Essen war schon mal besser. Es fehlte an Würze. Die beigefügte Garnitur u.a. (Mohrrübe) war ungenießbar.

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren hier her und wurden bisher nie enttäuscht. Im Gegenteil immer mega leckerereeee Gerichte zu einem völlig legitimen Preis. Das Essen war super!!!! Wir hatten Platte A für 2 Personen. Gute Portion mit Suppe- seeeehr leckere Sauer-Scharf- Suppe. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Doppel Daumen hoch! Heute hatten wir Tagesmenü M 9 und M10 mit Suppe und Dessert plus Getränk pro Person 14,80 Euro und wieder seeeehr lecker. Der Kellner (Denke ist der Chef) sehr freundlich und nett und immer ein Späßchen auf den Lippen. Wieder Doppel Daumen hoch!!! Heute hatten wir gefragt, ober die Sauer-Scharf-Suppe etwas größer sein darf, für 1 Euro mehr, war okay, aber war nicht wirklich mehr, schade. War nur ein Esslöffel... Essen war wieder super lecker. Nicht anders als erwartet. Toll, Toll, Toll

I loved this place, the Athmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious and the drinks were also good. The service was amazing, the employees were very kind. My favorite Drink was the Rose Tea. I would recommend this place for family, friends or a date.

Das Essen war gut und sehr reichlich. Man wurde freundlich bedient. Die Preise sind recht hoch, aber durchaus noch im Rahmen.

Das Essen und der Service machen das Ambiente wieder wett, gefühlt ist das Restaurant in den 80ern stehen geblieben. Ich war bestimmt 20 Jahre nicht mehr Chinesisch essen, aber es hat sich gelohnt! Geschmacklich eben doch was anderes als die " mongolischen " all you can eat Buffets.

Es lohnt sich wirklich und das Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut 👍 es ist dort sehr gemütlich.

Das Essen ist solide und der Service ist freundlich-reserviert. Das Ambiente drinnen hat einen gewissen 80er Jahre Charme, der Außenbereich ist an schönen Tagen oft schnell voll.

Der Chef ist sehr freundlich und witzig.

Eine kleine Gaststätte.Sie ist gut mit einem Rollstuhl oder Rollator zu betreten.Parklätze vor dem Haus sind vorhanden. Sehr freundliches Personal. Mitten im Raum ist ein großes Aquarium mit vielen Fischen darin. Die Gaststätte wird gut besucht .Auch Essen geht außer Haus.

Hier kommen wir gerne her, das essen ist immer frisch und lecker und die Portionen sind immer reichlich. Ich esse gerne das Sesam-Huhn das ist mega.... Wir rufen auch öfter Mal von unterwegs an und nehmen es mit nach Hause, auch da sind die Portionen genauso groß. Man sitz hier auch sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne her.

Waren zum Mittagstisch. Eine Suppe vorweg. Man konnte zwischen Sauerscharf und Hühnersuppe wählen. Die Schale der Sauerscharfsuppe war halb gefüllt. Hühnersuppe normale Portion. Die Knusperente war SEHR knusprig, allerdings so, dass man gerade satt davon wurde. Geschmacklich und von den Zutaten qualitativ gut. Hühnchen Chop Souey war geschmacklich in Ordnung. Menge gerade so ausreichend. Gab noch einen kleinen, sehr süßen Obstsalat danach! Mit großer Cola und Ingwertee kostete das Ganze knapp 35 Euro. Ansonsten liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Service war OK.

Super nette Bedienung und richtig leckeres Essen. Nach längerer Suche nach einem guten Asia-Restaurant in Berlin, fühlen wir uns hier wie beim Lieblingsasiaten in der alten Heimatstadt.

Wir sind "Gäste der ersten Stunde" und sind nach Jahren immer noch begeistert von der Qualität das Essens und der freundlichen Bedienung.

Das Essen war uneingeschränkt schmackhaft und gut und der Service war hervorragend, freundlich und aufmerksam. Lediglich das Preisniveau war für einige Speisen etwas überzogen. Zum Beispiel: Mini-Sauerscharfsuppe fast 5 Euro. 1 Kugel Vanilleeis mit 5 Litschis aus der Dose knapp 6 Euro. Ein einfacher Limetten-Eistee 0.3L über 5 Euro, das ist für solche einfachen Basics einfach zuviel des Guten. Die Portionsgröße war China-Restaurant typisch, dürfte aber bei ca. 13-20 Euro je Gericht auch gerne etwas größer sein. Ambiente war etwas dunkel ausgeleuchtet und mit Glasplatten über den Tischdecken. Somit zwar absolut hygienisch, aber etwas steril. Wenigstens flackerten keine bunten oder kaltweißen LEDs, wie bei vielen gleichartigen Restaurants. Nicht spektakulär oder modern, aber man kann gut sitzen und im gepflegten Aqarium in der Mitte des Lokals die Fische beobachten. Fazit: sehr lecker, sehr sauber, sehr freundlich, aber aufgrund des Preisniveaus mittlerweile nicht unbedingt etwas für den regelmäßigen Besuch außerhalb der Sparmenü-Zeiten.
