We were at Wan Bao's for the lunch buffet again on Wednesday, November 29, 2025. What can I say? As always, the food was very plentiful and delicious. Amazing quality. Crispy duck, crispy scampi—a variety that is second to none. All this at a reasonable price. The service was efficient and always friendly. We'll be back!

A must-visit. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it's a great buffet. You pay just over €20 and you can help yourself. There's also raw meat, which you can have cooked, from beef to crocodile. I'll definitely be back.

Great store. The selection is fantastic. The food tastes amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were there this evening, and the young Asian lady who served us was very nice. I've been there several times and will definitely come back. The price is unbeatable, too. I really like the store!

We were there today. We were extremely disappointed. The food was way too salty and greasy, and I think the mayo had been sitting there for a while because my daughter has been throwing up all the time ever since. It used to be such a great place, but unfortunately, I can't recommend it anymore.

Today I was here again with my family for a long time to try out the drinks flat rate. We immediately noticed that there were new faces there. But no problem! It's just like before and there's even more choice than before. We'd love to come back!

We ordered by phone and then picked it up. We are disappointed, the noodles were very salty so that our tongue started to burn. The containers were so full that everything was soaked. The entire food wasn't what it used to be either. Will be the last time we ordered something there.

If you could give minus stars I would do so. I advise against the buffet! Yesterday evening I had dinner with my mother after a day of hiking at this so-called Mongolian buffet, an absolute tourist trap and above-average poor food. -Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired - Hygiene is very important here -The fish counter stank through the whole store - the food at the buffet was lukewarm and not authentic at all - the fried noodles and rice are simply disrespectful to even offer. Since we were only tourists anyway, this was our last visit.

Was at Wan Bao again after a long time. This restaurant is still fully recommended. The selection and quality of the food (buffet) is first class, and the friendliness of the staff and service is in no way inferior. The locations are clean and comfortable. You feel very comfortable there. I'll be back and will continue to encourage my friends and acquaintances to do so.

We were there with a large group and enjoyed the lunch buffet. A huge selection and also a delicious sweet dessert buffet. Service was great, quick and very friendly. Very happy again.

We have been going to Wan Bao for example for many years. On birthdays or similar occasions and unfortunately it always leaves more to be desired. The plates/bowls are sometimes put back wet or still half dirty, the waiters can hardly be distinguished from the guests and the ambience has deteriorated significantly over the years (needs renovation). It's a shame to see the store like this, we used to enjoy being here.

Super good lunch and dinner buffet. Everything was super fresh, varied and well seasoned. Always consistently excellent quality. I have been a guest for 30 years and still enjoy coming Attention, the owner changed about half a year ago! In my opinion, everything has subsided. Too bad!

Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, it hasn't been quite as good. Most of the food was great, but some things still looked a bit pink. Service is now quite impersonal, previously it was a well-coordinated team with always quick sayings on their lips. Now you're just a customer. Table service is also much slower than before. Unfortunately the ambience hasn't gotten any better, in fact it's gotten worse. If it was OK before, it's just about OK now. Lamps are defective or the LED strips are hanging down, etc. Please understand correctly, it is still good but no comparison to the previous owners. And while eating, I had the feeling, as others have read, that some things could stay in the pan longer.

For us from Berlin, as visitors to the Goslar Christmas market and temporary residents of a beautiful holiday apartment in Vienenburg, the question arose about a restaurant for the evening of our arrival. According to Google, 3 restaurants were recommended to us. Wan Bao had the best reviews and we thought Chinese would always work. We were confirmed in this assumption. The food was great and the Oreis/performance ratio is great. The atmosphere is modern and has something of a canteen, but with good facilities and not run down. Personally, I prefer a more cozy atmosphere, but I don't want to move in here, I just want to eat well, and I have that. Fresh ingredients (vegetables) and a delicious crispy duck. In short, we would eat here again at any time.

The price-performance ratio is great: adults pay 21.8 euros per person, children under 3 eat for free, and for children aged 3 to 10 it costs 11.8 euros. Without a reservation it is often difficult to get a place, so be sure to reserve in advance! Ideal for a meeting with friends or a cozy family dinner. Five stars – absolutely recommended!

We were there for the buffet in the evening with 8 people and children. Located directly on the main street, with a modern ambience, brightly lit and pleasantly spacious, the tables were pleasantly separated and separated, which created a family atmosphere. Today we were at Wan Bao in Vienenburg again for a long time. When I came in I noticed that the familiar staff was no longer there. The shop was unusually empty. The buffet looked the same as usual, but unfortunately it didn't taste the same anymore.... The sauces were different, the chicken in the batter was totally flabby..... But the tiramisu was as hard as Krupp steel..... That's what I got with this one Didn't get the spoon through at all.... It seemed to me that the owners had changed. The staff were friendly. But the food was disappointing. It's just not the same anymore... It's a shame. The store was absolutely top notch.

If we want to eat good, freshly grilled fish again, it's a good choice in Goslar.

Außer Haus Essen geholt, geschmacklich 2 Sterne, der Reis war in einer Schale verpackt, mit einem Blatt Alu Folie abgedeckt. Der Reis roch etwas muffig, die gebratene Ente war so wie auch das 2. Gericht Rindfleisch in eine Schale gepresst. Plastikdeckel drauf. Für die Ente die Soße war in einem Becher mit Deckel drauf, total versalzen. Das Rindfleischmenü war so gepresst, dass die Soße unter dem Plastikdeckel herausquoll und die Platiktüte triefte. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn Essen geschmacklich eine Niete, für fast 35 Euro besseres Essen erwartet und wenigsten in einer Menüschale mit verschweißer Folie. Wir werden da nie wieder Essen holen.

Food was delivered incorrectly at first. Wan Bao in Wolfenbüttel is better, buffet should be considered that's so good... if you want to fill your stomach for cheap? A great restaurant for two as a group or family. (registration would be necessary) The buffet is large and varied. Great offer!! We come here every now and then for the buffet meal and wouldn't come back again if we didn't like it. The food is very tasty and the selection is extensive. Even better is the Mongolian grill in the evenings and on Sundays and public holidays, where you can have fresh ingredients fried. Personally, the lunch buffet is enough for me. There are zero complaints about the service! Used dishes are always cleared away immediately. The entire staff is very friendly and always has an open ear for requests. We always like to come back!

A restaurant of the “Once and that’s enough!” class. Everything on the buffet was cold. Some of the chicken was still raw, the beef was as tough as a shoe sole. The only warm food was fresh from the grill. The choice of sauces was limited to neutral in taste, hot and very hot. The whole restaurant was dingy. Cracks and holes in the tiles, dirt in the corners and sometimes very sticky. Conclusion: If you just want to fill your stomach without any fuss, you're in good hands there. Sorry for the honesty, but I haven't been this disappointed in a long time.
