THERE'S NOTHING TO EVALUATE. THE STORE IS CLOSED. AND APPARENTLY HAS BEEN CLOSED SINCE 2020. YOU HAVE TO FIGHT YOUR WAY THROUGH BAD FOREST TRAILS AND FINISH IN FRONT OF LOCKED DOORS. NO ONE THINKS IT NECESSARY TO TAKE DOWN SIGNS OR ADJUST OPENING HOURS.

This was the second time I went there for nothing because the pub is always closed. I don't know what the point is of luring customers with supposed opening hours even though the place is actually closed. I loved going there with my parents as a child. They always served delicious venison brawn and other tasty game dishes. Apparently, they no longer need it and therefore... screw their customers. For me, the topic is now dead.

Today, we went to the Waldschenke Josigk as a family with our 9-month-old daughter. Unfortunately, our visit was overshadowed by the unfriendly service – although the food was delicious. Our daughter was sitting in a high chair, which didn't have its own table, so the food she had brought with her (a simple waffle, nothing liquid) was on the dining table. The waitress came over and said that wasn't okay, and that she would bring us a plate – which she then placed directly in front of the baby. I matter-of-factly pointed out to her that the plate wasn't secure there, could fall, and that I would clean the table myself after dinner anyway. She simply replied that "it wasn't about that," without offering any explanation. After the meal, I cleaned the table with a wet wipe as promised, but the waitress said I didn't have to; she would take care of it. When I matter-of-factly replied that I would have done it anyway, she responded with, "I guess that's your thing, giving snarky answers." Such comments and this condescending attitude are disappointing for me as a guest and clearly affected the overall impression. I understand that there may be certain procedures or rules, but the tone and respect for guests should always be maintained. It's a shame, because the food was really good.

Unfortunately, one star is required. Zero stars are deserved. There are large signs on the street more than once stating that the restaurant is open (see picture). The website and even the door state that it's open Saturdays and Sundays. No way, nothing's open. It's a disgrace, especially when you drive this long, miserable route through the forest. Even if they were actually open, I wouldn't want to eat here anymore. The surroundings are very nice, but anyone who treats potential customers like this doesn't deserve it.

Google Maps shows that the restaurant is open on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately that is not the case. The restaurant is closed because the season is over. Unfortunately, there was nothing written on the signposts on the roads, so it was only after we had to drive the car down a poorly developed field/forest path that we found out that everything is closed seasonally. Food, service and ambience therefore cannot be rated. A word to the operators: please put up signs...it doesn't cost much and the customer can save themselves the bad journey.

Four of us wanted to eat. We had also reserved a table. When we sat down at the table, it took ages for a waiter to come over, at least not to us. At some point, she came over and asked for drinks. My daughter wanted a menu and was told: "We don't have one, tell me what you want." Before we could say anything, she just left and didn't come back. My daughter's husband asked and was told that my daughter wouldn't be served, only the three of us. We've never experienced anything like this before!!! Never again Jösigk!!!

The service was unfriendly, rude and even downright rude. We sat at the table for a relatively long time and waited to be served. When people who came after us already had their orders on the table, we became restless. Then finally a completely stressed lady came to our table and I asked for a card. The answer came rather bluntly: "We don't have it, say what you want and I'll tell you whether we have it or not." I was mentally about to order an Amarone, knowing they didn't have it anyway, but I didn't want to upset her, so I just said: "That could be fun" and she was gone. She just left. Without saying a word. My partner went after her and asked what that meant: I won't be served anymore. We all went for it.

Durch Zufall entdeckt und für gut befunden. Wir aßen lecker Wildsülze mit Röstkartoffeln. Keine Wartezeit, nette Bedienung und moderate Preise. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Nur die Zufahrt war etwas holprig 😉...

Haben an einem warmen Sonntagnachmittag nur etwas getrunken. Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Die Speisekarte war auf Tafeln an der Wand angeschrieben. Die Preise waren o.k., es gibt viel Wild. Werden demnächst mal zum Essen hinfahren.

Traumhaft zum Entspannen. Essen und Service super. Versteckte idylle

Tolle Gaststätte im Wald, nur über Schotterpisten bzw. Waldwege erreichbar. Geöffnet nur am Wochenende im Somnerhalbjahr. Angebot wechselt, daher keine fixe Speisekarte - alles auf einer Tafel angeschrieben. Essen sehr lecker, frisch und gute Portionen. Öffnungszeiten variieren, da vom Wirtspaar nur "nebenher" betrieben. Wenn an den Hinweisschildern "geöffnet" an den Zufahrtsstraßen hängt, dann lohnt der Weg. Idyllische Lage. Immer wieder gern.

Grundlegend kann man sagen: - sehr schön, mitten im Wald gelegen - schöner kleiner Biergarten - hervorragendes Essen - kleine aber feine Auswahl an Speisen Aber: - freundliche aber sehr langsame Bedienung - keine Kinderkarte und keine Kinderportionen - kein Spielplatz - gehobene Preise

Geheimtipp... Sehr schönes, liebevoll erhaltener und gepflegter Gasthof. Sehr freundliches Personal (Eigentümer) und super leckeres Essen. Kann ich ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen ist echt gut super gut. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend bedient.

Das Essen war gut - dafür war der Empfang absolut unfreundlich. Wir konnten leider nicht reservieren (uns wurde schon am Telefon sehr ruppig mitgeteilt, dass dies nicht möglich sei), weshalb ein Teil unserer kleinen Gruppe schon vorgefahren ist, um zwecks Plätzen zu gucken. Es sah gut aus. Also konnte der andere Teil nachkommen. Dem Wirt/Chef kam der Teil allerdings nicht schnell genug, weshalb er uns bereits nach zehn Minuten darauf hinwies, dass man den anderen Gästen den Platz wegnehmen würde. Auf die Aussage, dass wir gern reserviert hätten, meinte er nur, man solle nicht unhöflich werden. Schließlich könne er den Platz ja auch einfach weitergeben bei einer solchen Frechheit. Man hätte ihn ja verstehen können, wenn wirklich Gäste gewartet hätten und keine Plätze frei gewesen wären. Dem war aber nicht so. Absolut unnötig und unhöflich. Der zweite Stern ist lediglich für das Essen. Aber defintiv keinen Stern für den Umgang mit Gästen. Wirklich traurig!

Sehr gute & Kinderfreundliche Bedienung. Alle Speißen sehr frisch & wunderbar zubereitet,einfach Lecker. Zum 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag ebenso Wundervoll Dekoriert und sehr Einladend,für die Reservierende gab es zudem ein Gastgeschenk. Die Anfahrt und der anliegende Parkplatz führt durch einen sehr schmalen & huckeligen Waldweg (etwas unschön) aber es Lohnte sich und wahr sehr schön.

Anfahrt 3 Km über Feldweg, nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Weder Telefonnummer noch Öffnungszeiten im Internet veröffentlicht. Konnten deshalb wieder Feldweg zurück und mussten uns eine neue location suchen. Eigentlich ein Stern wegen fehlender Infos, jedoch +1 weil (vermutlich Wirtin) uns sehr nett die Öffnungszeiten mitgeteilt hat.

Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde zum entspannen und gutes Essen. Alles mit Liebe gemacht.. top

Habe meine Silberhochzeit dort gefeiert. Sehr leckeres Essen tolles Ambiente sehr nette Wirtleute. Eine fantastische Feier. Nochmals DANKE !
