Nicely located and usually enough parking spaces. Eating and drinking as you would expect from snack bars. However, there are also a few highlights such as homemade rolls, various sauces and mulled wine or Jagertee.

Small but nice probably sums it up best. The fact that it feels like you go out to eat there every day (BSR, BWB, Zoll, etc.) speaks for the price-performance ratio, if anyone knows about it then they drive through half of Berlin every day.

I was here in my first week in Berlin and remember that the ketchup was the best currywurst ketchup I've ever tried. A year later I'm back and it's still just as good!

I can only recommend the fries. You're sitting right in the forest.

The ketchup for the currywurst has too much of a spice off-flavor for me. €3.20 is too much for an 80 gram sausage, although the atmosphere outside is quite nice and the service is quick, we will probably visit other currywurst stands in the future.....

I'm there regularly. In my opinion it's the best currywurst shop in Berlin. And my daughter always celebrates that she gets a lollipop 🍭 for dessert. My tip is always the homemade rolls are a highlight.

Very tasty, especially the mayo with garlic and the currywurst. The service is great, very nice and particularly attractive. The ambience is also beautiful except for the oak trees when they drop their acorns.

Really a nice place but the food is really not great. They could get that much out of the location, but they don't. Everything is very bland and tasteless and the service is not friendly. The Knobi Ketchup is simply careless, with simple tomato paste and garlic powder, no seasoning, nothing at all and I think it's bad to want to charge more for it. Very poor shop. I also have a stomach ache, I don't know whether it came from the mayo or the sausage, but I have a strange feeling in my stomach. I wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't go there again

One of the best curries in the city, the best confit sauce, relaxed and friendly service... and it's beautifully located in the countryside. Run around through the forest to the Havel and then eat a curry afterwards! Nice habit ❤️

(Update typos) Nice location, on Heerstrasse. Direct start and starting point for a beautiful walk in the forest and by the water. The curry sausages are very neutral in taste and are reminiscent of ordinary bratwursts which are fried and then drowned in ketchup, which is also very tasteless. This has nothing in common with the curry sauce that is actually expected in Berlin. The service makes a very inexperienced impression. 3 people at the counter each work on a single customer. And only when the customer has all the goods (fries, sausages, drinks) and has finished paying does the lady at the grill ask what the next person would like. -- This could certainly be greatly optimized by working hand in hand. With the technique used, a queue of 5-6 customers can be a real test of patience. - Maybe I just had a bad day? (Whitsunday) - I'll watch it again on a weekday and then check the rating again, because I think it's a shame that such a good location is run so poorly.

You can't find currywurst everywhere on the edge of the forest, which is why the Waldschenke is so unique. The team is always in a good mood and the offering, whether currywurst or meatballs, etc., is simply delicious.

Staff very nice. The fries were okay too. The currywurst was totally dry. The ketchup had hardly any taste and was reminiscent of tomato paste without any spices. We expected more based on the positive reviews and were disappointed

The currywurst is often in the fat for too long and is therefore extremely dry and cooked through. Employees are always nice, but why do you keep offering a sausage that is completely cooked? It used to be much better. No longer recommended.

Was there yesterday: it was wonderful. Fast service, good sausage, curry ketchup is a bit bland, but otherwise it was really a worthwhile visit to the Waldschänke.

We didn't find it tasty at all (fries & currywurst) and threw almost everything away. In particular the garlic mayonnaise was just terrible!

A chip shop at the forest parking lot. Currywurst fries are ok, without setting any standards or wanting to. You have to bring a little time because it takes a while. Even if the fries take a second bath when it's your turn.

Solid, tasty and quick and we particularly liked the mayo garlic sauce. Keep it up!

We have often been to the peninsula to give the dog a run. But somehow it never happened that we visited the snack bar. But after “Holle” was there and rated it as good, when we drove past it for another reason we thought we would give it a try. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed, the meat skewer with liver was very overcooked. Then the currywurst with intestines and fries red/white…. The currywurst had some kind of spice that bothered me, the ketchup was ok, and unfortunately some of the fries had been fried several times. Oh, unfortunately there was an unpleasant “toilet smell” every now and then, which was a bit annoying.

Always just as delicious as the last visit. Super delicious!

This was my second time there and unfortunately I was disappointed again. The currywurst is just not very good. The sausage sat in the fat for too long and was kept warm. I certainly understand that you can't always plan the rush of customers exactly. But having almost 10 sausages lying in the fat is kind of strange. Well, the quality may be better with a sausage that was just made, but the homemade sauce wasn't good the second time either. She had something but the whistle was missing at the back. The taste starts with a sweet and sour note and then there is nothing left, the aftertaste is completely missing, which is unfortunately a shame. The fries were fresh and crispy. The ambience in the forest is fantastic and it could be a great snack. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the sauce "homemade in the 4th generation" has not been thought through to the end. Maybe I had two bad days, I don't know. I won't try it a third time. Too bad...

The currywurst sausage and fries are delicious, but the sauce tastes like sweetened tomato paste without any seasoning and the prices are shockingly high. The ambience of the restaurant is good due to the nearby forest, but very loud due to its proximity to Heerstrasse.

Nice, clean Berlin currywurst stall with an attached front garden idyll for sitting with self-service. Hand-made meatballs and delicious ketchup are particularly noteworthy, everything else is standard. There is even a very clean disabled-accessible guest toilet.

When we got the curry sausage, it was quite dry... The ketchup wasn't my cup of tea (homemade). I only tasted the tomato paste.

The currywurst with intestines, boulette and the meat skewer and the really tasty and, above all, large crispy fries were very tasty. Everything tastes the way it should be!!! A little tip for the operator: the plastic forks could be a little more stable, as the individual tines are too thin and therefore break off too quickly when eating.

You sit rustically outdoors, under large trees - unfortunately right on Heerstrasse. If the background noise and exhaust fumes don't bother you, you can dine comfortably there. Space is limited and there are times when it is very busy. There are, among other things, many typical Berlin specialties (e.g. currywurst, meatballs & fries) and plenty of extras for “on top”.

Just been there today and had two very unfriendly women at the service counter! Were annoyed by the limited change and made negative comments. The food was not at all tasty (fries and currywurst). Only the barrel shower could be drunk. The male colleague (who had observed the whole thing with his colleagues) even apologized to us afterwards because of his colleagues. Never come here again!

The place is great. Beautiful. The food is only pig or fries - hard and not tasty. Honestly just terrible. I have never eaten worse potatoes. The price of potatoes together with 1 cola is 7€. I don't leave bad reviews, but this is just b.. sorry. The chairs were turned over 2 hours before closing, I had to arrange a seat for myself. Still, thanks to the owner, the choice of a wonderful location is great for the soul. I think it’s just the employees, and the manager is great. Please add chicken, turkey or beef to the menu. I don’t eat pork, although I am a Christian. Very tactful meat. Thank you

We were really looking forward to the delicious fries, and the garlic dip was a dream; But what we were served there wasn't crispy but rather hard and dry. The ketchup tasted watery. The only thing that can be praised is the super clean toilet and nice service... but I come to eat delicious food and nothing else. I want the old team back!!!

We went there yesterday for a boulette and a currywurst. We had heard for a while that it was delicious there. The two ladies were very friendly and polite. This has now become rare. It's lovely to sit there between the trees. The portions of onions were decent and tasty. We really enjoyed the boulette and bratwurst. We'd love to come back. If you want to eat locally, you sit directly on the main street and it is very loud. The food isn't the best in Berlin either. I expected more with the long queue and the long waiting time.

One of the best currywurst stalls with a nice outdoor area to sit. The sellers are always in a good mood, you just feel comfortable here. We always stop here on the way to the Baltic Sea and back. It's no longer possible without it.

At the time of Ketchup35 at this location, the revived Waldschänke had a beautiful forest garden behind the snack shop. The garden area is currently located directly at the junction with Heerstrasse, which increases the noise level enormously. In terms of price, we are at the top of the Berlin snack bar landscape. Currywurst with or without intestines for €3.20, cheese sauce for the fries €2 and a Fassbrause for €4.50. There were no waiting times for me. The snack bar was empty, despite the weekend and the nice weather! The service guys were pure Berlin, cheeky and cheeky! The currywurst, whether with or without casings, were both delicious in terms of taste! Both sausages were burned internally, which is a sign of longer delivery times. The fries were pale and just barely done. The cheese sauce didn't come warm from the machine but from the plastic sauce container. And unfortunately it didn't taste the same here as it used to. A pity! I'm not as convinced about this snack as I used to be...

Nice place to have something to eat and drink. Ketchup sauce prepared in the fourth generation in the same way... In my opinion it needs to be revised. Didn't taste good at all. As if you opened a can of peeled tomatoes and pureed it... done.

The two of us were there on a weekend with a dog. It was quite crowded around 1 p.m. Many commuters passing by obviously stop to have lunch here. Fries with currywurst should be the highlight. Probably because of the rain we just managed to find two places under one of the two umbrellas. We ordered two small pilsners from the tap and asked if we could have our picnic as an exception. This was kindly allowed. And there is a toilet available. Everything was clean and tidy. We'll plan lunch here next time, we promise!

Classic currywurst adopted from its predecessor Ketchup 35. One of the few that are good in the area. Whenever I'm nearby, it's always worth a visit.

Today, on Easter Sunday, it finally worked... no endless queue at the counter. We just wanted a little something, a GOOD CURRYWURST 😋. The “three ladies from the grill” 😉 were deeply relaxed and served us the crispy sausage with a super delicious ketchup 👌🏼. Hopefully we'll be hungrier next time 😃.

I came here for the first time based on a recommendation. I thought it was delicious here and the price was OK too. 2 drinks, 2 currywurst with fries 20 euros. It's just normal these days. I will gladly come again
