The staff was very unfriendly from the moment we walked in. After ordering food, we had to wait an hour and a half for it. When the food finally arrived, everything was cold. The dumplings with gravy took two hours to come. After four complaints and a two-and-a-half-hour wait, the food finally arrived... We were then offered dessert as compensation...

The food was very good, but unfortunately, the roof in the beer garden is quite loud, echoing like a shooting festival tent. Sound absorbers on the ceiling would have been very welcome. But otherwise, highly recommended!

We've been to Jorgo's several times and will be back in the future. The extensive menu may not appeal to everyone, but I can assure you that all the dishes are prepared with great care and are delicious. The appetizer platter was very tasty and provided a good accompaniment to the souvlakis, which required a good dip like tzatziki. The classic dessert was Galakto Bureko, which was very hearty but also delicious. The prices are also very reasonable.

We enjoy Jorgo's often and always have lovely evenings. The menu is large for us, with a wide selection. My personal favorites are the tzatziki and the baked scampi. I also really enjoy the grilled pepperoni in garlic sauce. Everyone is friendly, and the service is prompt. Sure, it's louder when the dining room or the beer garden are full; it all depends on the guests, but that would never be a criticism for me; on vacation, a tavern isn't always quiet and peaceful either. 👍🏼😉

A very good, often very full Greek restaurant with incredibly friendly service. The food tastes excellent and the portions are generous. The only drawback for me is the somewhat hidden costs for changing the side dish from rice to fries.

Unfortunately I have to revise my 100% positive review. We have been customers since he started. Sometimes a price increase, sometimes smaller portions, etc. Over the years Jorgo has of course had to adjust his prices, I understand. In the last few years we haven't gone there so often because despite the starter you weren't really full but you paid a hefty price. Finally, I got a “large” farmer’s salad for 8.50 to take away. Thank you, the taste is the same as before, but elsewhere something like this could almost be considered a side salad. The term “large” is now really misleading, the bowl wasn’t even half full. If there hadn't been three pepperoni underneath there would have been no volume at all. It's a shame, really.

It's amazing how many reviews here report the "very good quality" of the food. However, based on my experiences here and in comparison to many other restaurants, I have to absolutely doubt this statement! What's outstanding is the speed with which the waitresses come to the table, take the orders (you hardly have a chance to read the double-sided "menu", which also functions as a table mat!), which are (definitely already prepared and also pre-grilled). ) Deliver food and clear the table again. Unfortunately, the friendliness falls a little short at the speed and after the run you take a breather behind the last corner of the table. The meat dishes are okay - average for a Greek restaurant. The fried squid, previously pulled through the egg, is almost borderline. Here I almost felt sorry for the mollusk that is the origin of this specialty - it's a shame that you can't get it off the grill. The salad plate is unfortunately very bland, although the coleslaw was also really good. The iceberg lettuce is smothered in a powerful cocktail sauce. This certainly explains the (slightly) cheaper prices than some other Greek restaurants. All in all, the quality here also suffers due to the large number of guests who want and need to be fed accordingly (quickly). In this respect, you can definitely visit “Jorgo”, especially if you want to go quickly. However, I know a culinary, Greek dining experience completely differently.

We are regular guests at Jorgo. Food is always of good quality. I am very grateful that there is not so much garlic in the tzatziki. We are already looking forward to our next visit and our “giraffe” Ouzo. Keep it up!!!!!

Very nice and friendly waitresses work there and they also have a little fun every now and then! Our family regularly eats at the Waldschänke! You should always book a table in advance for Sunday, as the restaurant is always busy then! We recommend!! Price/performance great!! Five stars are not enough!!❣️❣️❣️

We had a reservation for a birthday. A large table was kindly put together for us on the terrace. The service staff was very attentive and we felt well looked after during the evening. Unfortunately, the Greek dish I ordered wasn't that good. It was watery and lukewarm to cold, and seemed like frozen food. I can't say anything about Franconian cuisine. Maybe it would be an idea to specialize in a certain cuisine or reduce the dishes on the menu."

Everything was super great. Except for the table, which was a bit small and unfortunately there is no real cell phone reception and no WiFi from the restaurant.

Food was great. We chose potato salad instead of fries with the schnitzel. Here the relationship was no longer correct. We got some potato salad with the side salad together on a small plate. Whereas the portion of fries seemed huge next to the schnitzel. Otherwise everything was great!

The only potential for improvement that I currently see is the payment method - unfortunately only cash is possible here - "only cash is true" is true, but larger amounts can easily arise. And who wants to carry around that much money these days 😉

Unfortunately, there was nothing good about my food. The suflaki was bad....dry and hard.... ....it's a shame that an animal died because of it.

Waren einem gut Besuchten Tag dort, es war sehr viel los. Jedenfall muss man Reservieren, kaum hat man gezahlt wurde der Tisch schon wieder vergeben. Normalerweise Wirrschaft Ambiente, Essen hat Geschmeckt, Service war okay trotz viel Betrieb.
