I can't comment on the restaurant, you haven't visited it. The green area - completely run down, totally overgrown, rubbish bins overflowing - rubbish lying next to it, the paths in a catastrophic condition, seating rotten and broken - high risk of being misplaced. Goat enclosures are ok. In summary - not worth seeing, terrible condition!!!! Never again!!!!

We were out and about at the weekend and (quite by chance) ended up in this forest restaurant. The atmosphere corresponds to a typical restaurant. So rather simple. There are some animals in the animal enclosure there. Goats with offspring (with petting enclosure), guinea pigs, squirrels and various species of birds. Unfortunately there are not that many animal enclosures, but it is well maintained. The playground is there and appears to have been newly created. We ate bratwurst and fries. A pot of coffee and then some cake. The prices are great (pot of coffee €3, fries €3.50, homemade cake €3.50) just super delicious. Unfortunately, the whole thing is far from the beaten track and the road (field path) there could also be renovated. Despite everything, we will come back here. It definitely has potential.

Forest restaurant with a very friendly, attentive landlady. The offer (food, cakes, ice cream, etc.) was manageable and, in my opinion, completely sufficient.

No fine dining, just simple, solid home cooking. The selection could be larger, but it is sufficient. Time has stood still a bit, especially when it comes to the sanitary facilities. There are some beautiful animal enclosures around including a petting zoo. All in all, recommended for a family trip, but not for the discerning restaurant connoisseur.

Food tastes great. Unfortunately, the operation is divided into two parts. Once we were served by a man who was very friendly and joked, which was very pleasant. Last time we were served by a woman who immediately greeted us by telling us that we were not allowed to leave our bikes (a total value of around €10,000) behind us, but should put them in the bike racks below. However, this place cannot be seen and we didn't have any locks with us. She also noticed that nothing had been lost there yet. By the way, the bikes stood between the fence and our seat and didn't bother other guests or the waitress while they were working. It's a shame that you get bullied like that when you go to a restaurant with four people. Apparently things are going so well that they don't have to rely on guests there. Unfortunately we were disappointed and the visit there had a bitter aftertaste. Without this incident you could also give 4 stars. Only the sanitary facilities could use some updating. We can only hope that we will come across the friendly, witty young man again next time…

Heute zum zweiten Mal dort gewesen. Man kann dort schön draußen sitzen und den leckeren Kuchen essen. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Kleine, gemütliche Waldschenke, die nach einem ausgiebigen sparziegang zum verweilen einlädt.

Wir fahren immer gern hin. Leider ist die Straße katastrophal. Müsste echt was gemacht werden. Nur Insider finden es. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Nette Umgebung mit Spielplatz und Tieren. Freundliche Bedienung und das Schnitzel schmeckt.

Radtour zum Wartenberg über Eickendorf Richtung Glöte dann zweiten Feldweg links. Fahren mit dem Rad geht so hatten warscheinlich nich gerade den optimalen Weg ausgesucht. Beschilderung gleich Null Opwoll Wartenberg ist eigendlich ein Ausflugsziel so viel haben wir ja nun wirklich nicht. Sind aber Dank Handy angekommen. Wo ist jetzt aber die Gaststätte und der Zoo Auch von dort keine Beschilderung. Na ja man hat ja ein Handy mit Google Angekommen Der Zoo klein aber super sauber und ideal für Kinder Spielplatz ist auch vorhanden auch sauber und ordentlich. Die Waldgaststätte Für eine Ausflugsgaststätte Essen und Preis perfekt. Man kann draußen sitzen und die Kinder spielen. Negativ war : Nicht lachen war wie es kommen musste auch mal auf's Klo der Weg dort hin führte durch ein Vereinsraum. Der Geruch nach kalten Rauch war schrecklich bin seid ein Jahr Nichtraucher.

Gaststätte von aussen ein wenig dürftig. Drinnen waren wir schon länger nicht, weil meistens geschlossen ist. Sind fast wöchentlich mit unserem Enkel dort. Die neue Spielanlage ist für die Kleinsten super, die Gehege ordentlich, könnten mehr Tiere zu bestaunen sein. Das wäre super.

Kenne die Gaststätte nicht aber die Außenanlagen sind liebevoll und ganz natürlich hergerichtet, dazu die Tiergehege. Kleine Kinder finden es toll hier und der Turm auf dem Wartenberg ist ja nur einen Sprung entfernt. Ist ein schöner Wochenensausflug für die Familie.

Ich weiß nicht wie andere für dieses Restaurant 5 Sterne geben können. Wir waren im Februar an einem Sonntag zum Mittagessen dort. Es war wie ein Zeitsprung ca. 25...35 Jahre zurück. Die Einrichtung von damals. Die Tischdecken alle schmutzig. Das Angebot sehr dürftig. Im Frühling und Sommer ist es dort mit kleinen Kindern und evtl. geöffnetem Freisitz auf Grund des Waldes und der Tiergehege sicher ok.
