Overall environment is convenient for a meal break in the center. Extremely friendly service, very pleasant surroundings, atmosphere, outside seating, toilet area clean and nicely designed.

You sit comfortably, the service is great, only 11 euros for a vodka tonic that contained little vodka somehow borders on outrageous...

I honestly expected more, the place is very nice, the service was good and friendly, but the food was average and value for money not great..

Nothing to complain about. My vegan food was absolutely perfect. We were there on a Saturday evening around 9, it was really quiet, which was surprising when the restaurant opposite was full. At least for us, the food and drinks tasted really good!

Lunch was tasty, good quantity and absolutely value for money. The lemonades are not too sweet. The penne with sheep's cheese and chili wasn't too spicy. There could have been a little more cheese. My companion a tarte flambée California. Delicious.

I had a tasty Flammkuchen and some salad. The service was fast and friendly and I had a nice evening out.

Lunch is especially recommended, very good cuisine. Breakfast isn't quite as fancy, but the small breakfasts are good.

Breakfast is quite ok, price performance is ok. the coffee is excellent! But the reason why I stayed longer and ordered coffee and cake after breakfast was the extremely friendly and very professional staff. The two ladies always had a smile on their faces and there were no shortage of cheeky sayings. I would love to come back with such a great team

The Walden is just a stone's throw from the Goethe House. You can park there in a parking garage. The service is friendly and attentive. We treated ourselves to a delicious cake. The prices are acceptable. If I'm nearby, I'll be a guest there again.

Very nice café with great, varied and appetizing food. Very large selection of vegetarian dishes.

In short, it was perfect! The service was extremely courteous and friendly. The food has always been consistently fantastic and for the price, you can't find it anywhere else. Always very happy!

We were very hungry and it was Saturday afternoon, good weather in Frankfurt and almost all the restaurants on that street were full. We found a table outside at this restaurant. The terrace is next to a street where many cars pass and it was a bit uncomfortable for us. The menu was full of lots of interesting food. My friend decided to order pasta with pumpkin and I decided to order the classic Flammkuchen. Drink tea and water with berries and mint. Even though the terrace was full and there were not many waiters, the waitress at our table was very friendly and both the drink and the food arrived quickly. The pasta was not very hot although delicious. The Flammkuchen was very thin, with not much cream, the bacon tasted a little strange and not hot at all. A shame! At least the drink was very cool and delicious. The truth is that for the price, I expected something better.

The dishes are generous, tasty and comforting! The servers are friendly and efficient. The round tables give a cocooning feel with very comfortable chairs. On the other hand, the restaurant is very noisy, the music quite loud.

The food was amazing, hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten. However the service was rather meh. The menu said the burger was €18,50. But when we got the bill we were charged €19,00. They just said that the burger was €19,00 and didn’t want to give us the menu again, for us to check.

Was here today for an event. First we had to queue outside for 90 minutes so we could even get in. Even though we reserved a table. It can't be that a location is so crowded, we didn't even have room to walk, let alone dance. Our great table was placed next to the toilet and everyone had to squeeze past us. I bathed in alcohol because they also spilled their drinks. Going was out of the question because the next problem was with the wardrobe... Simply unreasonable! We couldn't pick up our jackets from the cloakroom because everything was mixed up. We simply waited 1.5 hours for our jackets, and we were also treated like second-class citizens by security because people lost their patience and tried to push their way forward. Never again! Disgusting! I'm just glad there wasn't a fire or anything like that, otherwise many wouldn't have survived.

Excellent restaurant. Schnitzel was expensive but also very tasty and you get large plates.

This is awesome – amazing food, high quality. We had a brunch and everything was great, except the pancakes (they were dry). The service wasn't overwhelmingly friendly but very authentic, and we REALLY liked that. It was also very fast. Calm, nice atmosphere. Charming place to visit in central Frankfurt to have great food without any stress.

Wonderful experience in every way. The server was very attentive and kind. The food was delicious, the price was pretty reasonable for what I got! I highly recommend this one!

Quick brunch stop off for 2. Atmosphere was great, slowly got busier as the time passed. There were only 2 waitresses on the day, one was behind the bar and the other pretty much covered the entire floor! Great service from her - was fast & tentative to customers too. Food was good quality and a nice portion size too. Highly recommended!

Habe hier nur Tee und frischen Osaft bestellt, die Karte hat jedoch tolle Auswahl. Frühstück ab 8 Uhr, und das Ambiente ist sehr einladend.

Ich liebe das Walden. Top Service, köstliches Essen und nettes Ambiente. Immer eine gute Wahl.

They offer great and yummy breakfasts&brunch. Today I tried Berlin and some pancakes, I loved it. Atmosphere is nice. You can enjoy your tea while sitting at a table by the window and watching the view. it is a little busy so you always need to wait a bit but it is not a big issue.

Hier stimmt einfach alles: Ambiente, Service und Essen. Eine Oase, in der man mal kurz durchatmen kann.

Nette Location mit freundlichem Personal.

Schön zum draußen sitzen. Aufmerksamer Service, gutes Speisenangebot, reichhaltige Getränkeauswahl.

Ich habe ein Rote Beete- Ziegenkäse- Risotto mit karamellisierten Walnüssen von der Tageskarte gegessen - Super- Gericht ! Die verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen ( süß- salzig) perfekt abgestimmt, und auch die Rote Beete, die nicht jedem schmeckt, war dezent integriert ! Kompliment an den Koch ! Dazu habe ich einen Grauburgunder getrunken - und hier ein weiteres Kompliment- in einem Glas, das nicht akribisch auf 2ml abgemessen war, eine Usanza, die ich bei den Preisen für ein Glas Wein sehr unschön finde. Das Personal ist sehr nett und effizient ! Unbedingt zu empfehlen !

Sehr gemütlich gemacht . Allerdings ist Wartezeit für Bestellung bisschen zu lang musste 15 min warten um was bestellen zu können . Erst nach dem ich Service angesprochen habe . Das essen war ok 👍

Café in der Frankfurter Innenstadt mit sehr gutem Service, preislich gehoben und Tische in der Gehwegzone. Das an sich passable Menü könnte man modernisieren.

Another delicious schnitzel down at Walden. It was a very nice meal and the atmosphere is amazing. It looks like they have a lot of awesome breakfast options that shouldn’t be missed out on but if you go for lunch or dinner then you won’t be disappointed. The service was very nice and quick as well. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Waren dort zum Essen, Steak für 27,00€, war sehr zäh, ging fast vollständig zurück, wurde der Kellnerin mit geteilt, darauf keine Reaktion. Einmal und nie wieder. Viel zu überteuert, so gewinnt man keine Gäste.

Ein top Service, exzellentes Abendessen und Frühstück! Seit Jahren immer wieder gerne. Und jeden neuen Freund, den ich mitnehme, ist auch begeistert!

Excelente brunch, se sirve comida tranquila del mundo, complementada con un variado menu de desayuno, cafe, te y pasteles por la tarde. El restaurante tiene terraza y la decoración y ambientación es muy moderna. La calidad de la comida de primera y las porciones bien abundantes. La atención del personal muy buena y los precios acorde. Recomendable.
