Schöne große Gaststätte mit zwei großen Außenbereichen. Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden Ausgewählte Speisekarte Preise im oberen Bereich aber der Qualität angemessen

Grillplatte bestellt (alle Beilagen kosten extra!). Die Rinderlende schmeckte eigenartig. Als die (übrigens sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite) Bedienung sich erkundigte, ob alles zur Zufriedenheit sei, erwähnte ich dies. Daraufhin wurde mir das Essen (ohne zu fragen) unter der Nase weggezogen und in die Küche gebracht (was aber von der Bedienung vermutlich gut gemeint war, aber ich wäre gerne gefragt worden, eigentlich wollte ich weiteressen). Nach einer Weile kam die Chefin und bezichtigte mich direkt der Lüge (man hätte es in der Küche probiert und nichts festgestellt). Abgesehen davon, dass man sich offenbar nicht vorstellen kann, dass der bereits gegessene Teil vielleicht ein Problem hatte: Wenn man als Gastronom in einem Lokal mit doch recht gesalzenen Preisen nicht an der Meinung des Gastes interessiert ist, sollte man ihn nicht fragen. Und wenn man fragt, dann nicht hinterher seine Meinung anzweifeln. Und ihm schon gar nicht ungefragt das Essen wegnehmen. Ich ging da bisher gerne mit Geschäftsfreunden hin, aber in Zukunft suche ich mir dann lieber andere Lokale.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir waren inzwischen schon zweimal im Restaurant und kommen gerne wieder. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Steaks, die am offenen Feuer zubereitet werden. Allein dabei zuzusehen, wie das eigene Steak frisch auf die Flammen gelegt wird, macht schon Lust aufs Essen. Geschmacklich waren die Steaks jedes Mal hervorragend. Die Speisekarte bietet eine schöne Mischung aus hochwertiger bayerischer Küche mit Klassikern wie Käsespätzle und anderen regionalen Gerichten. Bisher hat uns alles, was wir bestellt haben, sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch der Salat ist besonders erwähnenswert: frische, knackige Zutaten und ein wirklich leckeres Dressing. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und stilvoll gestaltet. Man merkt, dass es sich um ein Restaurant mit Hotelbetrieb handelt. Die Preise liegen etwas über dem Durchschnitt, was angesichts der Qualität, des Ambientes und der Portionsgrößen aber absolut gerechtfertigt ist. Die Portionen sind großzügig und man wird definitiv satt. Auch der Service war bei beiden Besuchen durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Für uns stimmt hier das Gesamtpaket aus Qualität, Atmosphäre, Service und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wer in Dorfen gut essen gehen möchte, dem können wir das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Filetsteak bestellt für zwei Personen. Beide falsche Garstufe. Es war nichts los zur Mittagszeit, da kann man schon erwarten, daß es passt. Es wurde angeboten, neu zu machen - immerhin. Und als Entschuldigung einen Espresso aufs Haus.

Super Essen. Sehr schöne Lokalität. Freundlichkeit wird hier groß geschrieben. Rundherum hervorragend!

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, die Rezeption ist bis 18:30 Uhr geöffnet, sodass man seinen Schlüssel am Automaten abholen kann. Es liegt mitten in Dorfen. Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner, aber die Betten sind sehr bequem. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, dass es keine Flasche Wasser im Zimmer gibt. Zum Glück gibt es aber ein Restaurant im Hotel, wo wir welches kaufen konnten.

Das wahrscheinlich am besten erhaltene historische Wirtshaus in Dorfen mit angeschlossenem Hotel sehr beliebt zum Ritteressen, aber auch sonst ein gutes Angebot mit toller Atmosphäre. Auf der Rückseite gibt es einen schönen ruhigen Biergarten und im vorderem Bereich zur Innenstadt hin eine große Freischankfläche mit Blick auf den Marienplatz.

Schon mehrmals da gewesen. Das Essen ist immer gut. Im Sommer war es mal der Lachs mit Meerrettich Risotto, mal den Grillteller, dieses mal die Karotten-Apfel-Ingwer-Suppe als Vorspeise und danach ein Riesenschnitzel. Das Schnitzel heißt nicht nur so, es ist riesig. Jedes Mal super Lecker. Im Sommer schöner Biergarten (die Bäume sind weg?) Innen gemütlich. Highlight ist der Grill mitten im Restaurant. Super freundliches und schnelles Personal. Komme gerne wieder.

Der Chef der Waitl Bräu lebt seinen Job. Sehr gutes Essen, wenn wir nächstes Jahr wieder kommen,gehen wir auf jedenfall wieder essen.

Ist eines unserer Stammlokale geworden. Schon oft dort gewesen und immer wieder gerne. Jedes Gericht bis jetzt top. Super Steaks vom urigen Feuergrill, beste Fleischqualität, Gargrad auf den Punkt, gute Portionen. Ich esse sonst nie auswärts Steak, weil ich immer enttäuscht war, hier komme ich wegen dem Steak! (Aber auch wegen Schweinefilet, Käsespätzle und Zwiebelrostbraten 😉) Man muss nie lange aufs Essen warten obwohl immer was los ist (Reservierung unbedingt empfohlen, auch unter der Woche!) Personal ist aufmerksam und supernett, außerdem ist das Lokal hundefreundlich. Der Gastraum ist sehr schön, es gibt drei ganz unterschiedliche Bereiche, alle sind auf ihre Weise schön und gemütlich.

Wir kommen hier hin und wieder mit einer größeren Gruppe für das Ritteressen her. Zum einen muss ich natürlich das köstliche Essen und die Größe der Portionen loben, zum anderen möchte ich aber auch sagen, wie authentisch und urig die Atmosphäre hier ist. Manu macht immer einen super Job und es ist jedes mal ein witziger Abend.

Wir haben hier ein Ritteressen gebucht. Es war sehr unterhaltsam und das Essen vorzüglich.

Ich war beim Ritteressen und die Bedingung und das ganze Ambiente war großartig. Das Essen war sehr gut und sehr groß Portionen.

Top Ambiente, top Service, mau Essen. Das Reh war staubtrocken das Wirsinggremüse ein Brei, das Riesenschnitzel wirklich riesengroß aber leider zu lange in der Fritteuse, genau so wie die Pommes. Wenn ich die anderen Bewertungen ansehe hatten wir vermutlich einfach nur Pech.

Es ist eines der wenigen Restaurants in der Stadt, das ein solches Erlebnis bietet. Es öffnet erst nach 17 Uhr und verströmt dadurch einen besonderen Abendcharakter. Die Atmosphäre ist äußerst angenehm, warm und gemütlich und schafft so eine entspannte Stimmung für gesellige Treffen oder einen besonderen Abend. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch – sorgfältig zubereitet und köstlich. Bei Ihrer Ankunft im Restaurant werden Sie von einem offenen Kamin empfangen, an dem Steaks direkt vor Ihren Augen gegrillt werden. Dies verleiht dem gesamten Erlebnis einen Hauch von Authentizität und besonderen Charme. Ein Besuch in diesem Restaurant ist wirklich etwas Besonderes.

I treat myself to a steak every now and then. The meat is of good quality, and the steak fries are crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Once, the steak came medium instead of medium-rare (it was still tasty). I gave her a fruit schnapps to make up for it, and the waitress asked me if everything was okay the next time. Great service, great food.

Special shout out to Joanas (hope I spelt it right). The team looked after us when we had an impromptu need to feed our baby. In addition the food was great and the place overall is just with a visit.

The Wailtl Bräu restaurant in Dorfen is a firm favorite for me when it comes to good food and a relaxed atmosphere. I keep coming back – and for good reason. The steaks from the charcoal grill are always a highlight: juicy, flavorful, and prepared right in front of your eyes. The grill is located in the middle of the restaurant – that's something special and creates a real pub atmosphere. The service is always friendly, attentive, and professional. You just feel like you're in good hands here. Sure, you'll take a bit of the smell of smoke home with you – but that's exactly what makes it special. Where else can you get a real wood-fired grill in the middle of the dining room these days? For me, that's part of the experience. A definite recommendation!

Normally, I don't let anything go wrong with Weiltl. Satisfied. The service is always top-notch, but on this Saturday (July 5th), I'm really disappointed. Weiltl is open until midnight and the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. That's absolutely unacceptable. Tomorrow is the city run in Dorf. People want to get out, and then there's nothing left except dessert.

A top address in Dorfen! Excellent food and a beautiful building with a terrace in the front and back, surrounded by greenery. I don't think the latter is always open. The beautifully decorated dining room has a large grill for preparing meat. It's also perfect for events. For example, we celebrated our civil wedding here a few years ago.

The ambiance is wonderful, and the open fireplace makes the interior very cozy. There's a rustic side room that's perfect for family or Christmas celebrations. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The wine selection is fantastic, and of course, the cuisine is sophisticated and delicious. We always enjoy going to this traditional restaurant in Dorfen's town center.

We were on the way back from Vienna and discovered the restaurant by chance while looking for lunch. Our old family rule, if you don't know your way around a city, drive to the next church and you'll find a good restaurant there, worked again. The food was absolutely great, the service was very good and the atmosphere was particularly inviting. Meat is seared over an open fire in the dining room (yet no unpleasant smell in the dining room) and the portions are just right. Price performance is also right. Since we probably won't be in the corner in the future, I can recommend the Wailtl with a clear conscience and recommend it to everyone. Thanks and regards

We had the zander, schnitzel, and roast beef with onions. The food was good, and the service was friendly. My absolute highlight, however, was the ambiance, with an open fire in the middle where the food was grilled, and there are many beautiful details to discover in the dining area.

The open fire in the guest room is really impressive. The beef was cooked to perfection and the quality was so good that medium rare is absolutely recommended. Service was quick and very friendly and personable.

Nice little beer garden in the morning sun and particularly recommended for hot days. Since I was traveling by motorbike, I ate a nice Viennese-style schnitzel for 20, with home-made fries. Next time I will eat steak as it is made over an open fire. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The Gasthaus Wailtl is of course famous and popular for its fantastic meat dishes on an open fire. But today I ordered a dish of the day: Geschnetzeltes with spaetzle. As expected, the dish was terrific: a mixed strip of beef, pork and turkey. The meat was cooked through but not dry and the vegetables were cooked but still nice and crunchy! The sauce with cream was strong and went very well with the other ingredients (actually the spaetzle with sauce would have been enough for me as a dish in itself). This shows that the creative, sometimes home-style and sometimes more upscale dishes on the daily menu are also worth a visit to the Wailtl restaurant.

Absolutely recommended. We were a Christmas party group of 13 people. It is usually not the case that everyone actually gets the level of doneness of their meat that they ordered and the side dish they ordered. That worked exactly here. Just being able to keep track of this order size and pass it on correctly all the way to the kitchen deserves the greatest respect. Because experience shows that things like this go wrong often enough. On the other hand, you could tell from the top service that you put your heart and soul into the matter. The team was on top of their game and despite the hut being full, no one ever ran dry (particularly important at Christmas parties). The food was fantastic and the ambience with the open fire was sensational. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. An all-round successful evening, to which the great Wailtl-Bräu team made a huge contribution. Thank you for that. It was really cool. We'll definitely be back. Great house. Keep it up.
