detailed review: I've ordered food about 20 times now and so far all of the units have been delicious and digestible. Keyword digestibility: I'm the first person to lie in bed paralyzed when I eat bad food and can't get anything done, but I don't find any trace of intolerance here (everyone is different). Taste: bomb. There's nothing that comes close, it tastes natural and the sauces are great too, although I'm always generally afraid of getting pimples, but I can rule that out here. Price: Price performance is also great and the lunch menu is affordable for everyone. Everywhere else you just pay for hunger to disappear. However, this is power food and anyone who says that it is too expensive should go back to the kebab shop and eat the stretched meat. I would even go so far as to say that the Top Notch is for athletes who need nutrients before or after exercise. All in all, you can't get anything better in the region and if you ask me, I've never found a better restaurant and that's why I've become a regular here ;) Kind regards, Jonas

I've been there several times, but I waited to give a more objective opinion. So: small and very nice! Food is A1 - and the service is even better! Individual wishes are fulfilled. Whether inside or outside - there is space! If you have something specific in mind, then a reservation is advisable! I'm looking forward to next time!

Summary: Family led small restaurant with amazing food, that is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant has plenty of free parking space around it which is pleasant when you visit them by car. With to mention here is that the restaurant itself is not directly wheelchair friendly due to stairs and a rather small restaurant area. I am sure the service will help you if you encounter such a situation. Since we already touched on the service let's continue with the great service, which is friendly, knowledge if you have any questions. They also provide you with great recommendations if you ask them. The food is authentic and just amazing, be aware that the dishes are spicy 🔥 when they are marked as spicy. I was a bit surprised by that the first time. Flavors I general is really good and the size of the dishes as well. Atmosphere, it's a two story restaurant therefore they don't have many seats in general but enough space on the tables for everyone. The feeling is relaxed, nice music not too loud, I like it. A General recommendation is to Reserve a table up front since they are booked out in advance and usually don't have a seat available when you just drop in.

The restaurant is really nice, the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant are very pleasant and the staff are also very friendly. I don't have to say much about the food except that it just tastes sickly good. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will notice the lovely and pretty furnishings, which create a cozy atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, which makes me feel welcome every time. However, I am particularly impressed by the food. Not only is it extremely fresh, but it is also incredibly delicious. The dishes are seasoned perfectly - never too strong, but just right. I can highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for authentic, delicious Vietnamese cuisine, you will definitely find it here.

Today we experienced a big disappointment. My daughter and I often go to this restaurant "Vu Garden" because the food and the service from the waiters are generally very good. Unfortunately we can no longer say that today. My daughter called the restaurant to ask if we could come for dinner at 9pm, the person who answered the phone said it was fine. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:05 p.m.... you could tell that the chef(s) weren't very happy. My daughter ordered one of her favorite soups and told the waiter very clearly not to put chili peppers in it because she couldn't eat them spicy. Unfortunately the soup was unbearably spicy, even I as a South American (who is used to spicy food) couldn't eat the soup. I told the waiter that the soup was almost unbearably spicy, to which he replied: "The chef was probably upset because of the time".....a shame, but the last time in this restaurant....!!!

Heute haben wir eine große Enttäuschung erlebt. Meine Tochter und ich gehen oft in dieses Restaurant "Vu Garden", weil das Essen und der Service der Kellner im Allgemeinen sehr gut ist. Heute können wir das leider nicht mehr sagen. Meine Tochter rief im Restaurant an, um zu fragen, ob wir um 21:00 Uhr zum Abendessen kommen könnten, die Person, die ans Telefon ging, sagte, es sei in Ordnung. Wir kamen um 21:05 Uhr im Restaurant an... man merkte schon, dass der Koch bzw. die Köche nicht sehr glücklich waren. Meine Tochter bestellte eine ihrer Lieblingssuppen und sagte dem Kellner sehr deutlich, er solle keine Chilischoten hineingeben, weil sie sie scharf nicht essen könne. Die Suppe war leider unerträglich scharf, selbst ich als Südamerikaner (der es gewohnt ist, scharf zu essen) konnte die Suppe nicht essen. Ich sagte dem Kellner, dass die Suppe fast unerträglich scharf sei, worauf er antwortete: "Wahrscheinlich war der Koch wegen der Uhrzeit verärgert".....sehr schade, aber das letzte Mal in diesem Restaurant....!!!

Stylishly furnished, especially the gallery. Access to the basement toilet is a bit narrow, doesn't quite fit with the other modern ambience. Service friendly. Eating well, if the shrimp were served without the shell I would much prefer that.

The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, the service treats you like a friend or family instead of just a guest and that makes me very happy. Added to this is the delivery service they offer that brings exactly the same quality to your doorstep. And the whole thing is run by a very likeable young man who never forgets a face 😄 I can only recommend

The ambience is so wonderful. What I particularly like is the wall with the leaves and the illuminated logo in the foreground. But the ambience isn't the only thing that magically attracts you. It's the friendly staff and the delicious food. I've been here several times now and haven't been disappointed once!

In short, 4 out of 5 stars. We've been here several times for dinner, both in the evening and at lunchtime, to get an idea/opinion. The staff is always very friendly, the quality of the food is good and it is nicely prepared. However, the portions could be a little larger. All in all we will definitely come back.

My absolute favorite Asian in the south of Munich!

Because of the mostly good reviews, I ordered fried rice with duck and baked wontons to pick up. I received a carelessly prepared meal. The wonton filling was very dry, the vegetables in the rice consisted of canned peas, carrots and corn. The duck draped on it was also dry and the rice didn't taste particularly good. All in all I was very disappointed. To be honest, asking 25 euros for this is a disgrace.

My wife and I have been coming here to eat for years because it's really delicious and full of flavor. The service is very friendly and served immediately. If you want to book a reservation for a group, you are welcome to do so because the restaurant is small but, as described above, simply great. Always remain your loyal regular customer 👍👍👍

Tasty and pleasant. Went to Vu Garden again to eat Pho. For those not in the know: Pho is a Vietnamese soup with rice noodles and herbs such as coriander. Depending on the variant, it may contain beef or chicken, for example Pho Bo or Pho Ga) In my opinion, the taste of the soup here is quite tasty, the preparation methods are always a little different, depending on the kitchen/cook. Today it was mildly salted. Still pretty good. On the scale of all soups experienced so far, a 3-4 out of 5. The store is always popular and the service is fast enough. Looking at the prices these days, anyone can guess that they have risen. For 2 people we left a good €50 for 2 drinks (green tea), 2 starters (spring rolls), 1 rice dish and a Pho Bo. Two years ago it was around €10-15 less. Of course, partly because of the VAT increase this year... 2024 The spring rolls were also delicious. In this case it is deep fried and served with a sweet and sour and slightly spicy sauce. But together we went home more than full. There was no need for a starter... The portion sizes of the main courses are therefore absolutely sufficient. The toilets are at the bottom of the basement, but that's absolutely ok and they're clean too. Music plays all day, the atmosphere is chill. A small bar is right at the entrance as soon as you enter the store. There are a few spaces on the ground floor, or up the stairs on the first floor as well. Everyone is very friendly. We like it here and will definitely come back (just because of the Pho) 🤙🏼😊

Das Restaurant bietet vorzügliche Speisen und ist meist sehr gut besucht (Reservieren oder zumindest kurz telefonisch nachhaken empfiehlt sich), Service und Ambiente sind makellos: Sauber, gemütlich, warm und welcoming! Allein die Art der Präsentation der Gerichte zeugt von viel Liebe zum Detail und hochwertigen, frischen Zutaten. Gerade hierfür finde ich die Preise, insbesondere die Mittagstische mehr als fair. Als Gast habe ich mich noch in keinem Restaurant so wohl gefühlt. Ich besuche das Restaurant zwar nicht regelmäßig (meist nur einmal im Jahr auf der Durchreise), daher habe ich beim letzten Besuch positiv überrascht feststellen dürfen, dass hier 'Alles beim Alten' - und das im guten Sinn - geblieben ist. Kenne kein besseres Vietnamesisches/Asiatisches Restaurant (und meine Ansprüche sind sehr hoch). Parkplätze reichlich in der Nachbarschaft vorhanden. Das Vu Garden in Ottobrunn ist nicht nur ein Restaurant, sondern ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das unter der meisterhaften Leitung von Chefkoch Michi zu einem unvergesslichen Ereignis wird. Die Raffinesse und Kreativität, die Michi in jede Speise bringt, sind außergewöhnlich und spiegeln sich in jedem Bissen wider. Bei unserem Besuch im Vu Garden wurden wir von einer Auswahl an Gerichten verzaubert, die die asiatische Küche in einem modernen, innovativen Licht präsentieren. Chefkoch Michis Talent zeigt sich in der perfekten Balance von Aromen und Texturen, die jedes Gericht zu einem Kunstwerk machen. Was auch herausstach, war der außergewöhnliche Service. Das Personal war aufmerksam, kenntnisreich und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns während des gesamten Abends wohl fühlten. Ihre Empfehlungen waren durchweg treffend und bereicherten unser Esserlebnis. Zusammenfassend ist das Vu Garden in Ottobrunn ein absolutes Muss für jeden Feinschmecker. Liebe Münchner, da habt ihr wirklich ein tolles Restaurant das ihr besuchen könnt. Dafür lohnt es sich auch nach Otto-Brunn zu fahren :) Selten so gutes und authentisches vietnamesisches Essen bekommen. Hier bekommt ihr meiner Meinung nach, die beste Pho-Suppe weit und breit. Klare Empfehlung!

Ein sehr schöner laden mit freundlichen Service und richtig gutem Essen! Der Fried Rice und das Curry liebe ich aber auch die Pho is der Hammer! Perfekter Ort zum Mittagessen oder auch Mal für ein Date 😜

Super leckeres Essen!! Erstklassiger Service!!! Vorallem die tätowierte Asiatin mit kurzen, blonden Haaren, die gestern Mittag bedient hat. Alleine für sie würde ich dort jeden Tag essen gehen. So aufmerksam wurde ich lange nichtmehr bedient. 5* Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. :)

Das Vu Garden kann nur weiterempfohlen werden! Unfassbar leckeres Essen mit einer top Auswahl an selbst gemachten Limonaden und einem noch besseren Service. Gehen hier sehr gerne mit Freunden zum Essen und fühlen uns immer herzlich willkommen!

Wir waren vor ein paar Tagen auf Empfehlung das erste mal im Vu Garden. Nach einer (angekündigten) kurzen Wartezeit konnten wir unseren Tisch auf der Empore einnehmen. Das Lokal ist relativ klein und überschaubar. Meine Frau bestellte Nr. 21 („Cremiges Vu Garden Curry mit frischem Gemüse und Kokosmilch), mein Sohn die Nr. 32 („Zitronengras“ scharf angebratenes Rind mit Gemüse) Ich bestellte mir eine Phô Bo („Große Reisbandnudelsuppe mit dünnen Scheiben vom Rind und vielen vietnamesische Kräutern“) Als großer Suppenliebhaber habe ich mich sehr auf die Phô gefreut, kenne ich sie doch aus einigen vietnamesischen Restaurants in USA. Leider leider hat das was ich serviert bekam mit einer Phô wie ich sie kenne wenig zu tun. Die undefinierbare Brühe war einfallslos und schmeckte langweilig. Kein Hauch von Cardamom, Zimt, Nelke und Koriander, ganz zu schweigen von Sternanis und Ingwer. Die Reisbandnudeln waren etwas zu breit – das ist aber Geschmackssache. Die Rindfleischscheibchen werden üblicherweise erst kurz vor dem Servieren mit kochend heisser Brühe übergossen und garen so rosa aus. Nicht so in diesem Fall, sie waren zäh, trocken und heillos überkocht. Die „vielen vietnamesischen Kräuter“ erschöpften sich in Minze und Thaibasilikum, keine Spur von Korianderblättchen oder deren Wurzeln. Zur Einlage in eine Phô gehören auch noch fein gehobelte rohe Zwiebeln, Scheiben von frischen Chilies (Jalapenos oder Serranos), auch Pak Choi oder Mangold ist nicht verkehrt. Hier waren einsame Soja-Sprossen die einzige Einlage. Traditionell gehören zu einer guten Phô aber auch ein Stück frische Limette, um der Brühe nach Geschmack etwas Säure zu geben. Nicht traditionell, aber in vielen Phô Restaurants dazu serviert (und witzigerweise ebenso wie die Limette auch auf dem Bild in der Vu Garden Speisekarte zu sehen,) werden sowohl Hoisin Sauce und Sriracha. Die Gerichte meiner Frau und meines Sohnes waren wohl in Ordnung, aber auch keine geschmackliche Überraschung. Es wird daher niemenden wundern, wenn ich hier keine Empfehlung aussprechen kann, da hilft auch die ansonsten freundliche Bedienung nicht weiter.

Toller Service, 1A Essen, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder, sehr nette Wirte, 100% zuverlässig, es hat einfach alles gepasst, weiter so !!

War letztens das erste Mal hier und bin begeistert. Die vietnamesischen Speisen waren alle fantastisch, netter zuvorkommender Service und wirklich tolles Ambiente.

Wir gehen hier sehr gerne hin. Gute, nicht übertriebene asiatische Küche. Inzwischen haben sie die Einrichtung aufgehübscht. Sieht jetzt echt schöner aus!

Schöne verwinkelte Location, Mitarbeiter mittelfreundlich, Essen ok, aber nichts besonderes. Preis-Leistung ist im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Lokalen deutlich zu teuer.

Kleines Restaurant mit überachaubarem Außenbereich. Freundlicher Service. Ausgewogene Speisekarte und auch extra Karte für Aktionen. Portionen (Mittagsgerichte) groß. Essen geschmacklich sehr gut. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ( 1 Vorspeise, 2 Hauptgerichte, 2 Getränke 38 €) in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
