The employees are friendly but there are one or two who are always annoyed.

Located centrally it is the ideal place for places with gluten allergy amd vegans. It is well managed. Expect higher prices compared to excellent meat based dishes. A decent amount of rather highly procesded vegan ingredients. Nothing special from the service. Friendly but not very attentive. I got the feeling they rather drive the hype. Money-for-value was for me as a vegetarian not sufficient to visit that place again. For people that live the vegan hype, surely an interesting place! The best dish that day was surely the pancake.

This restaurant is really great. Everything was very tasty. The lemonade with basil is very refreshing, and the ratatouille was as tender as grandma's. I recommend

We went out for dinner yesterday and unfortunately the "goulash" was completely overpriced and disappointing at just under 20 euros. There was zero tofu or other "meat substitute" in it - basically it was a better vegetable soup - with dumplings. Too bad. Because the service was top and the atmosphere was harmonious.

We were in Würzburg as tourists shortly after Christmas. Even from the outside, Vrohstoff was extremely nice; it was stylishly decorated for Christmas. Our little one can't tolerate wheat flour, so this restaurant was our first choice anyway. Actually, none of us have anything to do with vegan food, but it was all delicious! We had pancakes, burgers and sweet potato fries. And for the first time in our little one's life, she was able to choose everything from this menu without having to be told: you can't eat that! And best of all, she enjoyed it so much that she didn't concentrate on anything other than eating. Normally it gets too boring after five minutes. Although there is no excessive sugar and fat involved. The service was friendly, the restaurant is nice and freshly decorated. I was thrilled! Many thanks to the Vrohstoff team, you gave us two wonderful hours in Würzburg!

Top address. Really great. The first gluten-free restaurant. Particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. The staff is very courteous and competent. The prices are okay. The three of us paid around €45.

I often go out to eat at Vrohstoff with my girls and we love it there. The service is great, the food tastes great, the homemade lemonade is the best I've ever drunk. We will definitely come back ♡

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right here. Veggie burgers for over €20, normal water for almost €6, cappuccino for over €4, in short very expensive prices. The taste is okay, but in our opinion nothing special and I don't understand why the prices here are almost twice as high as the competition. Unfortunately, I didn't like the taste of the burger bun and the salad at all, the rest was, as I said, okay. Unfortunately, the service was catastrophic, you are told at the tables that you should order yourself using the QR code, but then you have to pay immediately, i.e. if you come as a group, there is a lot of extra work involved in getting back and forth. Unfortunately not worth a second visit for us. Inviting interior, only the chairs are very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, toilets were not clean.

We've had breakfast here several times and it's always been delicious, we usually share two different vegan breakfasts and snack our way through ;)

They offer a vegan mixed cheese plate for two persons for about 29€ and serve it with 4-5 rather small slices of bread - which is not much. We politely asked for four more and got billed an additional 6€ for them. We felt ripped off and thus cannot recommend this place even if it’s spreading veganism and should be supported.

We went here for dinner and overall we liked it (4/5 stars). Be careful, the dishes are expensive, but the portions are reasonable. It was full in the evening, but our food came quickly and the service was attentive to when we needed something. I had a burger with sweet potatoes. The taste experience was well-rounded and you missed the meat 0%. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the combination of beetroot and peanuts, but that's a personal opinion. What I didn't like was that the burger bun was really difficult to cut and it was difficult to eat the burger normally. Neither with cutlery nor with your hands. I think that's because it's gluten free. This should be worked on again. Despite everything, the restaurant is recommended, especially for people who are critical of vegan/gluten-free food 🫶🏽 Thanks to exciting combinations and a really large menu, everyone will find something here.

The food tastes very tasty. The service is good. The room tastefully decorated. I also think it's okay to charge a certain price for good vegan cuisine. But €4.5 for a cup of coffee is pretty cheeky.

Wir waren spontan Sonntag Vormittag zum Frühstück hier. Man sollte lieber reservieren, wir haben mit Glück noch einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Getränke auch. Brötchen und Brot top (keine Aufbackware wie man oft serviert bekommt). Personal war freundlich, trotz vollem Haus.

Totally delicious breakfast :) has its price, but you're happy to spend something for good and healthy food. Definitely coming back soon.

I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan, but I like delicious food. If you are in Würzburg and are looking for a change from Franconian cuisine, you have come to the right place.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and a super attractive menu. There is something for everyone. A dream if you pay attention to gluten, lactose or vegan. Even for people who have no contact with it - a great taste experience and certainly sometimes unexpected because you can hardly taste the difference. My bowl and coffee with milk were very tasty and the cake later was also great. I'm looking forward to the next time and more dishes from the menu.

The place is very expensive for the quality they offer. 1- I ordered a açaí bowl, which in the menu it said it was with strawberries and bananas. But when ir arrived it hat literally ONLY 2 little pieces os strawberry. And then just the açaí, nothing more. When normally acái bowls are always with a lot of fruit, otherwise you are just eating yogurt alone. In a restaurant? No thanks i can eat that in my house. We order for “extra” fruit por toppings and they said it wasn’t possible. So no fruits for us. Great! Also the consistency of the bowl is awfully. Açaí is supposed to be cold and ice cream consistency, but this was like a soup. Honestly THE WORST AÇAÍ BOWL EVER. 2- I also ordered a smoothie and it was more than 6€ (very expensive) but it wasn’t even good. It was made with box orange juice, it was not fresh, which for 6€ I think is totally unacceptable. Update answering to the owner: Un açaí bowls the fruit is not” just for decoration” is a big important part of the plate, otherwise is just plain yogurt. Also I DID ask for more fruit to the waiters but the ridiculously gave me a MINI serving of chopped fruit. It was mini. I went with my boyfriend and they just gave us and “extra” mini plate of fruit (the size of the serving was in a sauce plate so literally nothing) and for 2 people? Ridiculous. Also it was not just my taste my boyfriend had the same issues with the açaí and the juices. So definitely not a traste thing. And based on my opinion and the others ONE star review I recommend you upgrade your quality with those inflated prices :) Good luck

It was our first time in Vrohstoff (day trip to Würzburg). And certainly not the last time. Reservation system worked very well, we sat comfortably and were served in a friendly manner. The extensive selection of gluten-free and vegan options was almost a bit overwhelming for us - so many delicious burgers. 😍 In the end there were four different burgers, all of which were very good, and a ratatouille (also good). Prices are upper middle class, but it was worth it to us.

Wir waren als Paar im Vrohstoff und wollten einen schönen Abend zu zweit verbringen. Mir war das Lokal noch nicht bekannt, aber die Bewertungen hier klingen vielversprechend und die Bilder machen Appetit. Als Location für ein Tête-à-tête ist das Lokal nur leider total untauglich. Service, Ambiente, Speisen: alles eben Burgerbude, halt in vegan. Und in meiner Kürbislasagne war der arme Kürbis mit den Nudeln total allein gelassen. Da war nichts dabei, was das ohnehin schwache Aroma des Kürbis unterstrichen hätte: keine Würze, keine raffinierten Sprossen, Kerne oder Samen, die diese geschmacklich unauffällig bis fad daherkommende Lasagne ein wenig aufgepäppt hätten. Hier hat man keinerlei Raffinesse erkennen können, weder im Geschmack, noch in der Art wie es abgerichtet war. Für fast zwanzig Euro ein Totalausfall. Schade, denn der Burger meiner Begleitung war super: interessant kombiniert, schön präsentiert und köstlich. Vielleicht mein Fehler, an das Vrohstoff Erwartungen wie an ein „richtiges“ Restaurant gehabt zu haben und nicht auch einen Burger zu bestellen. Den kann man hier schon..

Cheese is on the menu. However, it is a strange mush that is not cheese.

I am happy about every restaurant that offers gluten-free and vegan food. The selection here is large and diverse. The service staff is very nice and any questions about certain ingredients (due to intolerances) are clarified in the kitchen. As a guest, I would like to have direct access to the list of ingredients. I always find it quite uncomfortable to ask about ingredients because they might be in the dish. Especially when the next table can hear every word. That would make things a lot easier for the guest and the service staff wouldn't have to sort everything out in the kitchen. But that's just my personal recommendation. I also found it quite uncomfortable that the tables were so close together that the next table could hear every word. That's why I deducted a star for the ambience. Now to the food: Great and varied selection. I ate “The good old BBQ Burger”. The gluten-free bun was great, the patty could have used a little more seasoning, otherwise it was a great, tasty and fresh burger. I also had a plucked cake and a cheesecake. I enjoyed both very much. In terms of price, it is quite expensive but understandable, as gluten-free and vegan foods are unfortunately quite expensive and this is of course reflected in the price of the meal. For me, the restaurant gets a clear recommendation! Despite the small things mentioned, I would always come back. It is a great benefit for many people with intolerances to be able to eat out without constantly having to worry about whether they can tolerate this or that. Gluten-free and vegan already cover a lot of intolerances and that’s great.

This is an excellent vegeterian all gluten-free cafe-restaurant in a top central location in Würzburg, 5 minutes walk from the train station and the Residez, near the pedestrian walk, so it is a perfect stop during shopping and during a visit in town. As no gluten is used in this restaurant, it is perfectly safe for people with celiac/gluten intolerance. The food is simply delicious: The different kinds of vegi burgers come in different combinations and variations, and they taste just marvellous! They can come with sweet potato chips which are a highlight. There are other plenty of appetizing and delicious items in the menu that we will try on our next visit. The cakes and desserts are very tasty, and there are also many excellent drinks (smoothies, self-made juices etc.). Also the coffee is very good. The service was friendly, smiling, efficient, and very knowledgeable . In sum, highly recommended! P. S. It would be great, if also soy milk would be offered.

Now I know why vegans are so often in a bad mood. The “BBQ burger” is the worst burger I have ever eaten. To call a sticky, stuffy mass drizzled with BBQ sauce between two tasteless bun halves for almost €19 a burger, you have to have never eaten a real one.

Ate there for the first time about 3.5 years ago and loved it. However, today I was extremely disappointed. The prices are almost outrageous, the location is a bit worn and dusty here and there and the food is unfortunately just mediocre.

We were really looking forward to a leisurely lunch, but unfortunately this visit turned into a disappointment. First of all, there was confusion about a voucher that wasn't accepted. It would have been helpful if this had been clearly stated somewhere. Of course, it can happen that some drinks were not available and the restaurant cannot do anything about that. The main problem, however, was the burgers: They were ice cold and unfortunately the taste left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, no one asked us how we liked the food during the entire stay, so we were only able to communicate our criticism at the end. I definitely expected more for the price. Of course it's great that everything is gluten-free, but that really shouldn't be the only positive thing about this place, because unfortunately that couldn't make up for the lack of taste. Overall, the experience was unfortunately not satisfactory. I hope that my feedback helps some things improve.

Food is actually great. But when you order take away for a burger and some fries that you pay more than 20 euros you get no napkins and no cutlery. So if you get the mushroom instead of the buns is going to be a complete mess. You have to pay €0.60 for a paper bag and an extra dip costs you over €3. Great food but definitely this place is jumping on the whole vegan trend just for the money. Vietnamese place next door, amazing food, great service and prices and they actually give you cutlery!

Its such a delight for a person who is glutenfree and vegan to finally be able to choose whatever they want from an entire menu card and not only choose among 3 dishes that they can eat. Additionally the food was very tasty and you could see that they are careful with their ingredients and really put effort. It is a bit more pricy, but the portion size is also a little bigger. You get both quality and quantity for your money. The staff was also super nice. We came 3 times in 2 days, even my non-veg and non-gluten free mom totally loved it.

We visited this restaurant on September 10, 2024 and unfortunately our visit was very disappointing. The only thing that suited us in terms of price was the use of Neotaste. Otherwise I cannot recommend the restaurant. First we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. When the burgers finally came, they were cold and tasted absolutely nothing special. There were also fries, but the only sauce included was ketchup. Everything else would have cost extra. For the price I expect at least a selection of sauces - I found it a shame that you don't get an alternative at no extra charge. The focaccia we also ordered was a complete disappointment. For 15 euros we got a piece that was barely bigger than a hand. The taste was also very average - the dough was bland and was more reminiscent of a simple yeast flatbread than a real focaccia. The toppings (tomato sauce, olives, avocado) were okay, but for this price I definitely expected more than what was reminiscent of a cheap version from the supermarket. Overall, the price-performance ratio here is absolutely not good and we certainly won't be coming back.

I think the prices are pretty overpriced, it's probably the typical vegan surcharge. Unfortunately we waited quite a long time for the food and everything. 0.5L water €5.90? It was probably vegan water. Converted to 1L of diesel, it would cost €11.80! The price is simply outrageous.

We were initially very impressed by the pictures and therefore decided to go to Vrohstoff, only to be really very disappointed. The owners seem to care more about the food looking Instagrammable (presentable on social media) than tasting it, let alone filling you up. For the price we definitely and literally expected more. We wouldn't come again. Positive aspect: it looks very chic and you can certainly take great photos for your Instagram story even if you can only afford a coffee there.

Mein erster Ausflug in ein veganes Restaurant. Ich war sehr skeptisch. Aber: Es war erstaunlich lecker! Superlecker! Mein einziges "aber" wäre, dass ich lieber nicht wissen will, aus wie vielen Kunststoffen so ein veganer Käse besteht oder wie viel Chemie an Sojaspeck muss, damit er echt schmeckt und knuspert. Der Service super und das personal sehr freudlich. Ich würde nochmal hingehen.

We had breakfast at Vrohstoff today, Sunday morning, and overall it was okay. Short conclusion: We wouldn't come back and we wouldn't recommend it (at least the things we ate...). Biggest drawbacks: - Price-performance ratio catastrophic, an extra roll for €2.90 in addition to the normal price of €17.90 - Selection of ingredients and preparation (especially scrambled eggs) It wasn't at all as devastating as it might sound at the beginning, but we still came to the conclusion that we expected a lot more. Long conclusion: We sat outside but also had the choice to go inside. The three of us ate the “Crazy” menu three times for €17.90 each. First of all, €17.90 is a proud price for what was ultimately on the plate: - The tofu scrambled eggs really took some getting used to, the taste was bitter and very little. - The rolls/slices of bread were clearly not enough for what you get as a spread!!! And now comes the BIGGEST POINT OF CRITICISM: When we then ordered 1x extra rolls (about too many spreads in relation to bread...), because we didn't want to let the jam go back (throw it away, sustainable, etc.), we saw on the bill that they had given us the stinking normal thing Rolls (without grains) were charged an extra €2.90, €2.90!! Absolute impudence🤣 - and the raw vegetables were not fresh either, but looked like they had been “prepared the night before”. Overall, it was beautifully presented and the ideas and selection were great, but unfortunately we weren't impressed. We definitely wouldn't go there again, even though the waitresses are nice and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Aufgrund der hervorragenden Bewertungen und einer Empfehlung kam ich hierher und wurde leider enttäuscht. Zunächst hat mich die Bedienung konsequent ignoriert und es dauerte ewig, bis ich bestellen konnte. Dabei war das Lokal nicht total überfüllt. Das Focaccia Avocado fand ich trotz des Salates als Beilage etwas trocken, vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (14,90 €) leider nicht gut. Das Ambiente an sich hat mich auch nicht umgehauen. Vielleicht waren meine Erwartungen auch etwas zu hoch, aber zumindest die erste Chance hat das Vrohstoff leider nicht genutzt.

Nice place not into vegan food but couldn't find a gluten free restaurant so had to put up with this prob would not have vegan again but the GIN and TONIC was fantastic would go back for a few more of them

We still got a table because luckily it wasn't too busy. We would have liked to sit outside, but of course we couldn't because it was full. We have been vegan for several years and I unfortunately have to say that the tofu scrambled eggs and pancakes are much better and, above all, cheaper at home. The price-performance ratio is catastrophic. You're happy to pay more (especially if you come from the industry yourself), but unfortunately the quality wasn't up to par. Ich war glaube ich noch nie in einem so tollen Restaurant, wie im Vrohstoff in Würzburg. Ich konnte mich kaum entscheiden und hätte am liebsten die ganze Karte bestellt. Also Auswahlmöglichkeit 10 von 10 Dann kam das Essen Geschmack 12 von 10 Dann war ich noch auf der Toilette die Spendensammlung für einen gnadenhof zeigt die Liebe der Eigentümerin Tieren Gegenüber. Das Restaurant hat ordentliche Preise ja aber es ist mehr als das wert. Der Kellner aus dem Iran ein so netter Mensch er hat unser Essen vollkommen abgerundet. Ich habe wirklich selten so nette Gespräche mit einem Kellner gehabt wie an diesem Tag. Ich bin vrohstoff dankbar dass wir dieses Restaurant ausgewählt haben um den Kauf unseres Hauses zu feiern. Danke bitte macht weiter so. Und wer das liest und die Chance hat das Restaurant zu besuchen. Macht es

Went to the wrong restaurant by mistake and realized it too late. They specialize in gluten free and vegan. They have a lot to choose from and it was extremely refreshing and delicious

It's a very good breakfast restaurant. Prices are ok. Food was delicious and the service was polite

We were here in the evening during the week and got a table without any problem. We opted for a burger with a potato patty which was solid but nothing special. Plus the gnocchi with asparagus, in which we couldn't find any pieces of asparagus. Our waitress just said that of course there were pieces of asparagus. The sauce also tasted very much like soy. It's a shame, we would have really appreciated good vegan cuisine!

Completely overpriced Easter brunch - not recommended! I had mixed experiences in this restaurant: some dishes were very tasty, others were less to my liking. What was always great was the atmosphere in the restaurant - it was really great. However, I haven't been to this restaurant since Easter and for a good reason: a friend and I stupidly fell for the "Easter Brunch" offer and paid almost €40 per person. Instead of a lavish buffet with pancakes, various types of bread and croissants, a pretty sad buffet awaited us that day with only a few sweet options (although these were advertised beforehand), one type of roll, stale or warm tiramisu and a jam - not even nut nougat cream there was. I wouldn't have even wanted to pay €10 for this sad buffet, let alone €40. I sought personal contact with the restaurant - but the owner is unreasonable and not interested in criticism. For me this was definitely the last visit to this restaurant. If you value a nice atmosphere and want to grab a bite to eat, you can go here. However, you shouldn't have too high expectations - especially if there is a special at a high price. Unfortunately, disappointment is inevitable.

There were three of us in the raw material. An extreme “Zöllie” with two “omnivores”. All three were completely satisfied with their food. The dishes were all delicious with a great consistency and nice presentation. The service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere was pleasant. The prices are fair. Clear recommendation.

I was excited! As a person with celiac disease, being able to order EVERYTHING was a great feeling. Plus, everything is vegan and tasted great. So you don't miss meat or anything else. The staff is also very friendly and knows their stuff! And the restaurant itself is very cozy and beautiful. So a clear recommendation!

I was really looking forward to the visit, but was unfortunately quite disappointed :( The bread and tofu scrambled eggs were great, the pancakes with chocolate and banana unfortunately tasted incredibly like the fridge and the oat protein bowl was sour/was already slightly bubbling and generally had far too few toppings on it :( maybe we just had a bad day. The staff was very friendly and the ambience is great too!

Three hot drinks, a bagel (that was good) and two breakfasts, which consisted of two slices each of vegan cheese and vegan sausage from the package, a mini jar of dry tofu scramble and dried vegetables. (A spread may have been homemade but the bread wasn't fresh either). 0.5l filtered tap water over €5! I've already tested a lot of oat drinks for coffee and here too they seem to have skimped on quality (either not a barista version or poorly prepared). I'm happy to pay more for good vegan food, but this is beyond rude. If you want a good vegan breakfast at a fair price, you should go to Kult.

We were there on a Tuesday afternoon. So it wasn't that crowded there. The choice of food is good and everything is vegan/gluten-free. Unfortunately, the plucked cake didn't taste as good as we imagined. It's certainly not easy to bake gluten-free and vegan, but it could still have a little more flavor. Personally, I have a recipe that tastes better. The other dishes tasted great, the employees were super nice and accommodating. Overall we were satisfied.

We were here for the first time this evening and unfortunately we were disappointed. The menu promised an asparagus menu as a special offer. The asparagus was not fresh and very overcooked and the "parsley potatoes" turned out to be lukewarm jacket potatoes. Overall, a disappointing promotional offer, even for the price.

There are good vegan burgers in Würzburg, but unfortunately this is not one of them. Bordering on inedible. Unfortunately, service was also catastrophic. Better to try other alternatives!

It's something different. If you want very good vegan food, you've come to the right place. It's not cheap, but the burger was very tasty and I'm not vegan. It was busy, so make a reservation in advance

A really great restaurant that shows vegan cuisine at its best! The food was first class, so delicious and so lovingly prepared! We were also impressed by the service, as food intolerances were dealt with very professionally and everyone was very friendly! Unfortunately, we ended up sitting in front of empty glasses for an hour because no one checked on us without asking. It can happen, it shouldn't, but we'll definitely come back more often and are looking forward to trying the breakfast :) Addendum: The Easter brunch was awesome!! Soooo much great selection!! I'll definitely be back next time for brunch!! 😍

I absolutely loved the Vrohstoff restaurant with its excellent service and first-class cuisine! Silvana, our waitress, was extremely attentive, friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the restaurant is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was deliciously prepared and presented, a real treat for the senses. I can fully recommend Vrohstoff and am already looking forward to my next visit!

They advertise the March promotion with a 3-course menu, but nowhere do they say that it is only available until 5 p.m. When you get there the big surprise comes

Largely vegan and also adapted to other dietary requirements, good advice, delicious food, slightly higher prices. Points deducted for the cappuccino: no stable foam with either oat milk or lactose-free milk, therefore watered down (probably foamed too hot)

A great shop with very, very tasty food and great drinks. Breakfast is particularly recommended and is great fun with the huge selection. The portions will leave you more than full. You can pay in cash and by card. The staff is very friendly and quick.
