Vodkaria in Leipzig

The ambience is really nice, has something quaint about it and is a nice change from “classic” bars. The service is super nice, the cocktails are a bit too sweet in my opinion, but all in all highly recommended. I have never seen a place where there are so many variations of vodka, the shop lives up to its name 😂

Great girls and boys I wouldn't let anything come to this place and defend it against any attack. For me as a persecutor in this Germany, it has become a place of refuge3b. The restaurant has always made sure that I will have a good time with you. For me it became an Iet in that I was able to fall in love again internally with a great woman who I only pro forma declared to be Catherine the Great. I want to trust her completely 7nf. If I could, I would very much like to put a bouquet of flowers that is left in a Leipzig church in her hands. I only trust you, Katharina.

Exciting dishes and a must for vodka lovers

Something special, different. It's crazy how many different types of vodka are offered here. The service can also provide information on many of these. The ambience inside is harmonious and extraordinary. Outside it's pragmatically simple. The food is of good quality, but unfortunately not optimally prepared. Both of our dishes were over salted. The vodkas we tried were delicious.

Cool shop with a wide variety of Russian pelmeni with a huge variety of vodka shots. The food isn't comparable to the traditional one, but it's nice despite the variety. Staff very courteous and dynamic.

Great vodka, bad drinks/cocktails! As the title suggests, Vodkaria offers a gigantic selection of different vodkas from all over the world and in almost all flavors. The food is generous, hearty and good, Russian home cooking that fills you up. The price/performance ratio is okay, we were with a larger group and some had to compromise on the degree of doneness of the meat etc. The cocktails and drinks, on the other hand, unfortunately all failed in terms of taste, while the staff (2 of them) were very friendly and really tried hard. TIP: The smaller the group, the better the organization of the staff and the dishes seems to work.

You can sit comfortably together, eat and drink something and enjoy the atmosphere.

The Vodkaria in Leipzig is a fantastic bar that impresses with its extensive menu. Particularly noteworthy are the vegetarian dishes, which are both tasty and creatively prepared. The selection of vodkas is impressive, offering both local and international brands of high quality. The price-performance ratio is more than fair, making Vodkaria an ideal place for a convivial evening. The staff is not only friendly and humorous, but also extremely competent, which makes the visit even more pleasant. Overall, Vodkaria is an absolute highlight for vodka lovers and gourmets in Leipzig!

Attentive service, unfortunately the visit involved a long wait and the food unfortunately only came to the table after an hour. However, I have to say that it was really delicious and I would definitely come back to dine there. Was delicious! There is a huge selection of drinks, although as a non-vodka drinker (so many types of vodka :-D) I just stuck to beer there. That was good too.

We were able to reserve a table for four people on the same day and were assigned a pleasant corner. The service was really great, we never waited long for anything and were asked at very short intervals whether we needed anything else. Splitting the bill wasn't a problem at all, and all the service staff were very nice and funny. We also really enjoyed the music that evening and the food was also exciting and delicious, something different! We are definitely coming back.

The atmosphere and selection of drinks is really very good, everyone will find something here! The music selection was also great and we were allowed to sit longer - even though it was already closing time. Unfortunately, we didn't feel 100% comfortable because the drinks menu contains a drink with a more than discriminatory name, which is simply not possible and seems anti-queer. Maybe you can change that a bit, then it really is a great shop!

Staff totally listless and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the boss doesn't care at all. The Vodkaria was always a great place to go in Leipzig. But now it's completely over-the-top.

This pub is simply amazing! I've never seen such a huge drinks menu in my life, and the food is also brilliant! The waitress Vika was a whirlwind and in such a good mood and gave us great advice: we had a fantastically fun evening, even if we had a headache the next day🙈

What else can you say? An all-round successful evening on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. Food was great, drinks were fantastic, service was great - there was absolutely nothing to complain about - people asked again and again without being intrusive & eyes were almost always everywhere. Price-performance is great & the staff is great - keep it up & we'll be happy to come back 😊

I didn't eat here but drank several cocktails. Lots of choice! We had a lot of laughs with the service, they take into account that you are there for fun and are happy to participate :)

Bar with outdoor seating right on the street. The drinks were very tasty. There was a huge selection of drinks for which you had to wait at least 30 minutes after ordering. We were there on a Saturday and the staff was woefully understaffed for the volume of people. We would still go there again!

Une carte avec un choix infini de 800 vodkas différents des 4 coins du monde , des cocktails intéressants , avec dosages à la louche . Petits plats pour accompagner le tout . Ambiance décontractée . Un bon moment.

Great store. I can highly recommend it. You can have a good rustic meal here, but you can also stay for a relaxed drink with friends. Personally, I always think it's great when a location can do both. The staff is also very friendly and attentive and the interior is beautifully inviting and cozy.

This was an experience! The Vodkaria bar is a bar that puts a specific focus on Vodka drinks and coctails. The selection is amazing and extremely broad, the menu is informative and funny, staff is friendly, atmosphere is unique and quality of service is awesome! It is sometimes hard to find unique bars with a character, this was one of them. Next time i visit Leipzig, this place will be a go-to place definitely. There is also food available but we were there just for some drinks so cannot comment on that.

Very rude and racist staff, especially the waitress with piercings. I heard how she treated some customers next door and was very rude.

Very bad customer service **It is interesting that on the same night we visited the bar, a person outside of our group of six (not seven) people (Gonzalo Montaño) saw a group of people receive very rude treatment, similar to that, that we suffered. We had nothing to gain by lying, we just wanted to have a nice evening, no beers were shared, the place wasn't crowded like they claim, and at no time was anyone in the group rude to the waitress. Not even 3 minutes after our round of beers were brought to us, we were almost forced to order another. It is also important to note that no one in our group denounced any kind of racism, it was another person from outside the group who wrote that. I also find it quite interesting. Noticing the place's dissatisfaction, we paid for our drinks and left without causing any trouble.

We were having a few beers with my friends and one friend didn't want to order anything because he was on medication and the waitress basically forced us to order and if she came back in 5 minutes and we didn't order anything she would throw us out choose the restaurant. I find that very unfriendly because we just wanted to have a good time. If I could give less than one star I would. **To be clear, the bar wasn't full, and no one was waiting at the door to get in. Second, no one shared a beer, everyone had their own, and there were six of us, not seven. Thirdly, we were the first to be kicked out when the other round of beers arrived. It was clear we wouldn't leave until we drank everything. We then reacted and simply told the waitress that it was very unfair what they were doing since we had consumed almost all of it, but we would prefer if she brought us the bill and we left. I think your staff didn't inform you well about the situation lol

I've never experienced anything like that, when we came the waitress wanted to see our IDs and after 20 minutes, just because a friend (there were 6 of us) didn't want to order, they'll take us out even though we already had drinks. Our evening was completely ruined after that

Price/performance ratio is right... great service... the ambience is right... the "vodka cupboards" in particular are terrific... invites you to come by again... easy to reach by public transport...

A nice place with a rich choice of beverages from all over the world

I would recommend everyone to pay a visit to this location. We were there for the first time on Saturday and it was so quaint and cozy. Food and drink variety is amazing. A Leipzig veteran and still iconic for everyone who enjoys higher percentages. Great selection of fabric from all over the world. With 2 shops right next to each other, there is enough space for all night owls.

Vodka lovers beware We were guests on a Friday with a small group of 8 people. The location was very well attended. Accordingly, the staff also had to do. The service was nice but unfortunately it seemed like they couldn't keep up. We had to wait a little longer for our two drinks orders, even though our table was right at the bar and the staff walked past us every time. The drinks menu is very diverse and is a dream for anyone who likes to drink vodka. The cocktails were well mixed and delicious. In terms of price, it is also absolutely average to other locations. Unfortunately we cannot provide any information about the food. The drinks were taken into account in the rating. The ambience is furnished normally but still invites you to relax. Overall it was a lovely evening and we would come again.

Very hip place, with a great atmosphere. The staff are very entertaining and friendly. Most of the food I tried was good. Especially the pelmeni. Only the beef strips were quite tasty and the Russian cucumbers were a matter of taste. The many different vodkas are an experience. Definitely a recommendation. Prices, like almost everywhere in Leipzig, are quite high.

Wonderfully uncomplicated bar/gastro with the theme of vodka. Weekly changing additional menu that is very diverse and sometimes unusual. Great service, very good advice, especially important if you are overwhelmed by the huge selection of vodka. We always like to come here!

Extremely large selection of drinks and nice staff! Musical tastes were also met - for anyone who is more interested in alternative/indie rock, this is the perfect bar. There is also a lot of Polish/Russian food like pelmeni, vareniki or bortsch :)

Uriger Laden mit authentischem Essen und einer sehr großen Auswahl an feinstem Vodka. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, klare Empfehlung für einen Besuch.

Authentisches Essen, wir hatten Pelmeni (ukrainische Variante mit OINK) . Flotte, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Erdrückende Auswahl an Vodka. Bei jedem Besuch in Leipzig gibt es einen Abstecher in die Vodkaria.

Haben da ne große Auswahl an Vodka. Essen war sehr gut. Irgendwie kannten die nur die englische Bezeichnung ihrer Sorten und nicht russisch/deutsch. So wurde der Begriff Green Mark verwendet und nicht зелёная марка oder Grüne Marke.

Hausmarke Schoko Vodka ist zu empfehlen. ;-)

Sehr gemütlich, die Gaststätte war sehr gut besucht. Preise sind für Leipzig Innenstadt gut und angemessen. Sehr, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Hätte ich von auss4en nicht gedacht.

Ich wollte mich nochmal bedanken, für den tollen Abend den wir mit 14 Personen in eurem Lokal haben durften. Alles war sehr lecker und die Stimmung toll und auch die Bedienung war 1A. Und danke auch für die tolle Korrespondenz per Email mit Torsten Junghans. Insgesamt ein tolles Lokal, welches man unbedingt bei einem Besuch in Leipzig einsplanen bzw. als Leipziger zu einem Stammlokal machen sollte!

Mega leckeres, authentisches Essen und gemütliche Atmosphäre :)

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen dort. Wir haben einen Tisch reserviert und es ist schön zu sehen, dass der Name mit Anzahl der Personen auf dem Holztisch mit Kreide beschriftet wurde. Die Getränkekarte ist sehr vielfältig und es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an Vodka und Schnäpsen. Es gibt sogar hauseigenen Vodka in verschiedenen Geschmack. Die Cocktails sind sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Ich hatte den CaiPEACHorovka und den Flying Kangaroo. Für ca. 9€ jeweils. Was negativ aufgefallen ist, war das Verhalten bzw der Umgang mit uns Gästen von Seiten des Personals. Herablassende Sprüche und eine unangenehme Gangart haben den Abend unschön begleitet. Dazu sind uns einige Beispiele in Erinnerung geblieben... 1 Beispiel von vielen: eine Freundin musste am ende 25€ bezahlen und hat zunächst ihren 20€ rausgeholt. Als sie ihren 5€ schein nehmen wollte, hat die Kellnerin zu ihr währendessen gesagt:" Netter Versuch, aber bei mir hast du keine Chance weniger zu zahlen." Der Freundin wurde unterstellt, dass sie absichtlich weniger zahlen würde und ihr indirekt Betrug vorgeworfen... Man kann ein schlechten Tag haben, aber das war in einigen Situationen unhöflich und hat uns ein schlechtes Gefühl gegeben.

Immer wieder ein Besuch wert, wenn man in Leipzig ist! Die Wodkaauswahl ist riesig. Man wird auch gut beraten, wenn man einen speziellen Wunsch hat. Die Angestellten sind auch im größten Stress immer sehr freundlich und entspannt.

Toll, freundlich, unvergessen....

Sehr angenehme Bar/Restaurant mit nicht nur russischen Spezialitäten. Hier lässt sich in entspannter Atmosphäre ein gemütlicher Abend verbringen. Unglaublich viele verschiedene Wodka-Sorten, aber auch viele verschiedene Biersorten, Softdrinks etc. für diejenigen, die vielleicht nicht so auf Wodka stehen. Zudem neben den russischen Spezialitäten auch viele weitere Gerichte auf der Speisekarte.

Jenny hat uns sowohl die Vielfalt der Vodkas dargelegt als auch uns unterhalten. Top Erfahrung, vielen Dank!

Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung und leckeres Essen.

An einem Tag als der ruhmreiche SV Werder Bremen nach dem Ausgleich in der 90+1, den erneuten Rückstand in der 90+2 (!) gegen niemand geringeren als den Traditionsverein TSG Hoffenheim verkraften musste, schaffte es Kellnerin Lisa durch ihre so angenehme Betreuung, dass ich den Laden mit einem Lächeln und nur wenigen katastrophalen Fußballfloskeln verlassen konnte. Vielen Dank an diese angenehme Mitarbeiterin in so schweren Zeiten!

The food here is decent but the service can be slow. Lots of outside seating and close to a busy intersection, so lots to see and some noise.

Ein Restaurant, eine Bar wie keine zweite! Seitdem ich 2016 nach Leipzig gezogen bin mein Lieblings Treffpunkt in Leipzig. Wunderschönes Ambiente, ein ehrlicher und ordentlicher Geschäftsführer, welchen ich während der Pandemie auch gerne mit einem Retter Shirt unterstützt hatte. Jederzeit super freundliches Personal, welche allen wünschen möglichst gerecht werden. Selbst wir, mit unseren Spezial wünschen wir Mojito Bier oder die unzähligen Beschwipste Helene Booten :D Danke, das es euch gibt und auf weitere Jahre bei euch! LG euer Kaefertechno

Eine Bar ganz nach meinen Geschmack. Ich wusste gar nicht das es soo viele Vodka sorten gibt. Wir hatten uns auf eine kleine Vodka Verkostung eingelassen und dazu die Abendbrot Platte sowie das Bruschetta Brot. Alles war sehr frisch und total lecker. Die Mädels machten ihren Job echt gut, man fühlte sich Willkommen. Wenn wir wieder mal in Leipzig sind, muss ich wohl wieder vorbei kommen 😉 LG aus Wittenberg

Für mich persönlich die Beste Bar in Leipzig. Dort fühlt man sich super wohl. Ein wahnsinnig tolles Lokal. Egal ob man drinnen oder draußen sitzt, es ist urig. Preislich wirklich absolut fair. Mitarbeiter sehr wertschätzen, kompetent und zuvorkommend. Geschmacklich ebenfalls der Knaller. Empfehlenswert!

Bei jeder Dienstreise nach Leipzig gehört ein Besuch der Vodkaria zum Pflichtprogramm. Die Zahl der angebotenen Wodkas ist nicht mehr zu überschauen, das frisch gezapfte kellerbier ist herrlich süffig und die nord-/osteuropäischen Speisen (Pelmeni) sehr zu empfehlen. Freundliche Bedienung und zivile Preise. Absolut zu empfehlen.

We enjoy our evenings there with family to relish their Vodkas and beer. The staff are very courteous, helpful and great. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. The ambience and décor are excellent. A great place to enjoy.
