Pure luxury if you want to go on vacation, because there! The food, the rooms and the staff were top. Gladly again ! ☺️

The location is a dream, as is the food. We were invited to a party there. The tables were very festively set. Good service. We didn't spend the night there.

I can't rate the rooms as we only visited the spa area. Great service, super nice staff and a relaxing evening for us. We would be happy to come back in March 2025 after the renovation of the spa area. Unfortunately there are few parking spaces in front of the house, another parking space with a barrier is only for hotel guests and not for spa visitors across the street Good luck 👍

We went to the wellness area for a “short break” and were not disappointed. Friendly staff, towels, bath almonds or hammam towels, everything was provided. The outdoor area with a view of the fjord towards Denmark is simply wonderful. As a Flensburg resident you know that, but it's always nice. The price-performance ratio for 3 hours €30 is more than good. Above all, you have space with the reserved loungers when you book, so that the spa area is not overcrowded. We can only recommend a “short break” in the Altes Meierhof.

We have been to the Vitalhotel Alter Meierhof several times and are very satisfied every time. You can park easily in the parking lot opposite, and you can get a ticket at reception. We booked a Relax and Dine package and found the Rasul bath really great, you feel like new afterwards. Afterwards we enjoyed the pool, which was not very busy and therefore had plenty of space. The view over the fjord from inside and outside from the loungers is magnificently beautiful. Our dinner was really excellent. There was also a vegetarian alternative for me upon request. There are three different saunas, we visited two and were satisfied here too. The service at the Vitalbar was very friendly and quick. All in all it was a successful evening for us. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

The Alte Meierhof is due to be renovated soon and that's a good thing. We spent 9 nights there, with children and dog. We would refrain from visiting with a dog, as only certain rooms are "allowed" with dogs. We had already been informed of this in advance, so far so good, but you wouldn't want to spend your holidays in these rooms, especially not for 9 nights: worn-out furniture, with windows directly above the staff canteen, therefore noisy early in the morning. The children's room or suite, on the other hand, is spacious and modernly furnished, but cannot be booked with a dog. Unfortunately, our request on the first morning for a different room for us adults plus dog could not be fulfilled. Afterwards we were told that we should have “complained” about the room and then “of course” another solution would have been found. It's a shame that a politely expressed wish is not taken into account and you first have to complain about something in order to have your needs taken seriously as a guest. However, this mentality fits into the overall picture of our stay: Overall just not a 5* level. The service in particular was sometimes very different. However, we would like to positively highlight the staff at breakfast and in the spa. The outdoor area is actually a highlight: a large garden with a view of the beautiful Flensburg Fjord, but you are also very inflexible there, sitting relaxed in a beach chair to read the newspaper is only "allowed" in swimwear. In general, there are many do's and don'ts that give the feel of a youth hostel rather than an upscale hotel. As far as the culinary offering is concerned, we can primarily comment on breakfast, where we would have liked more regional, seasonal and homemade dishes. 5* is just the prices, says another review and unfortunately we have to agree with that.

Beautiful hotel with amazing restaurant options in a beautiful area. The spa was a bit underwhelming (basically just a pool and a sauna), also quite cold even in the summer. But what a view! Supernice staff :)

The house is really very nice. We only used the spa area. It is very neat and well maintained. The breakfast for sports and breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Unfortunately my request for a longer bathrobe was not granted. All the other guests had a long bathrobe, which I would have liked too.

We only ate the Sunday menu there. Extremely delicious. The dog was allowed into the lobby and we were fed there too. Great courteous service.

Ideal for wellness and great star cuisine. Top location in a northern German idyll, nothing more is possible!

A special beginning of the Northern Europe holiday pleasure in a hotel and SPA not often seen. 5+ stars in our rating. Top level professional, friendly, cheerful staff, services, facilities - which we have not encountered in many other resort stays. A big advantage is the excellent swiming pool and SPA treatments for body and face. Restaurant Meierei Dirk Luther (Michelin Star's awarded) food is gourmet delicious and healthy. Flensburg Fjord seaside nature surroundings are very beautiful. It was a wonderful experience to stay in this hotel, the staff did everything to make us feel special. Outdated, smoker-friendly hotel where only the prices are 5-star. We were very disappointed with the food! The breakfast was not very varied and of rather basic quality. Natural yoghurts from France in individual jars, cheap baked goods and just a sweetened open yoghurt are clearly not enough for this hotel category. In the evening there wasn't even a salad on the menu for a mere 80 euros. But the most incomprehensible thing was the designated outdoor smoking area: right in front of the open wellness area next to and around the pool! There was often a smell of cigarettes both in the wellness area and in the pool in the morning. The "relaxation room" in the wellness area also didn't deserve its name thanks to its open door to the pool. Oh, parking costs 8 euros extra per day, although there was no mention of a free parking space outside.

On the occasion of my birthday we spent a few nights at the Altes Meierhof. A nice, well-kept hotel with good food, very good breakfast and friendly staff. Given the room prices, however, we would have expected better care products and no plastic flowers as decoration. We know that from similar hotels different. Otherwise everything was very nice.

I was there for four days last week, I've been there many times before, but now, with this movie set weather, you just can't beat it! All anticipation expectations were 100 or 110% fulfilled! Anointed, creamed, massaged, eaten well, slept wonderfully! I arrived on Tuesday and had no desire to leave this wonderful bubble. Maybe I shouldn't write this at all so that more people don't come.😊 Isn't there 6 stars or 10? I'm very excited about the renovation! And woe betide you, I don't like it 😡

A special evening! We made reservations at the bodega and our expectations were exceeded! Only 3 tables - wonderful to sit in the middle of the large selection of wines. The tapas menu was great and of course the Rioja too! Highly recommended for a nice evening. What is also extremely praiseworthy is the friendly and very accommodating staff, especially Kristina, who accompanied us throughout the evening. Thanks! They make this hotel a feel-good place. The last glass of wine in the beach chair on the terrace with the sunset over the fjord! Perfect!

The indoor pool was too cool and the loungers were absolutely uncomfortable. Demolition work in the neighboring house was very disruptive.

We booked three nights for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is right on the water. The view from our room was a dream. We marveled at the sunset every evening and the colors and reflections on the water were different every day. Memories that we won't soon forget. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. It was really pleasant because the friendliness didn't seem fake. We felt very comfortable in the wellness area. Saunas, swimming, resting… everything is nice. We were served fruit and drinks. The pool outside was great. We also enjoyed using the beach chairs and sun loungers. The landscape is wonderful. We recommend a walk to the right of the hotel towards Glücksburg - hiking trail 7 -Quellental. It goes along the water and through a beautiful beech forest towards the sailing harbor. Approx. 1.5 - 2.0 hours there and back. Really a dream. We are absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back again. Thank you very much for these wonderful days!

It is the best wellness stay I have ever been on. good food and friendly staff

The ultimate self-indulgence that everyone deserves to experience at least once in their life. 5 stars + 1 extra if it had been an option. Top professional staff, always with a smile on their face and a friendliness that I have not encountered on many other wellness stays. Booking was easy and with good communication to the hotel. When we arrived there was a minor misunderstanding in the spa treatments, which was quickly rectified. Highly recommend trying a Comfort Zone Basic facial treatment. The food was top notch and the surroundings were so beautiful. It was a fantastic experience staying at the hotel and choosing a unique place to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The hotel did everything for us to feel our special day. We will come again!

Yesterday my sister and I were finally able to spend another wonderful wellness day in the day spa at the old Meierhof. It was such a treat... the thermal baths, the fantastic Rasul, the wonderful food, outside in the beach chair in the beautiful sunshine 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 it really couldn't be more. The friendly staff really have everything in mind👍we say thank you very much for the wonderful hours and look forward to the next time😍

We had also booked a hammam at Day Spa and were informed 2 weeks in advance that the booked treatment for €290 was not available because the masseur was ill for the long term and there was no replacement. No alternatives that made sense for us were offered and no discount on later dates or even (upon request at the end of the day)! Drink on the house. You should come back later, despite the advice that it will be a long journey. This is not worthy of a 5 star hotel! With 5 people you have to deal with it differently! A pity...

Friendly and helpful staff! Booked massages at short notice and were great! Without saying anything, you could tell that you saw and felt where the problem was. Enjoyed the facial as it was just relaxing and a treat. Keep it up

We stayed in this hotel for one night and had a 3 course menu included. First we visited the thermal baths. Everything was very nicely laid out including an outdoor pool. But we found the sauna area very clear. If the thermal baths are busy, it will be very crowded. All of the saunas are not very big. What is also very annoying are the people constantly occupying loungers. Our Rasul treatment was very well done and relaxing. Our room had a view of the fjord, so it was very nice. The only negative thing was that our room was a bit shabby here and there. And the 3 rooms share a hallway access. Accordingly, it can be noisy when people come in and out of the room. You really can't complain about the food, the 3 course menu was very, very tasty. The breakfast was also very plentiful. The bread selection was also to our liking. In short, everyone has to decide for themselves whether this is all worth the price. We decided for ourselves that it wasn't. Sorry, but we've had better for the money.

Stopped in with the family for coffee and cake. The staff was very attentive to the needs of young parents and towards the children. The property and the rooms are very well maintained and you can enjoy a wide view of the Flensburg Fjord. The cake and coffee were very tasty. We were also very happy to have a chat with the manager and the chef. It was our first but not our last time here.

Mega location, this hotel has everything you need to have a really good time. Large spa area. Great food. Great selection at the breakfast buffet. Every single corner looks simply fantastic and invites you to discover it. The view from the outdoor pool directly onto the Baltic Sea is simply amazing. Highly recommended to simply have a good time. Always happy - old meierhof.
