Virtuous Pie - Vegane Pizza in Köln

Everything was perfect!!! The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and even the service were perfect! I had an "Ultraviolet" pizza and my partner had the "Chicken Alfredo" pasta, and it was a culinary delight! ☺️ The best vegan food I've ever eaten. The "Focaccia" appetizer with an incredibly delicious Canadian dip was also fantastic! I could have drunk the dip myself 😁. The lavender-chamomile lemonade is also highly recommended – as is the entire restaurant 😍. The service was great. Super friendly, relaxed server ☺️ We will definitely come back and try the ice cream. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible due to the delicious food 🤰🏼. I will definitely recommend this place.

For me, Virtuous Pie is one of the best discoveries in Cologne in recent years! An atmosphere that reinvents pizza. The crust is crispy yet fluffy, the toppings creative and incredibly flavorful. There's truly nothing missing. The incredibly friendly team completes the experience. A piece of Canada (that's where the concept comes from) in the Rhineland. Whether you're vegan or not – anyone who loves pizza should definitely stop by. You can't expect anything less than arguably the best pizza in town.

This dinner is worth the long journey! After ours, we certainly needed some refreshment, which Virtous Pie delivered—in a way that exceeded our wildest dreams. Virtous Pie is one of the best vegan options in Cologne. The food left us speechless, and the staff was so welcoming and friendly, you'd think we'd known each other for years. We're incredibly happy we chose this place. We have one more recommendation for the marketing department. Your new slogan should be "Dude, the bread is here." Iykyk. Flo, in particular, was so sweet to us.

I was here for the first time today and will be back very soon! The menu offers a great selection, but isn't overly extensive—the perfect balance in my opinion. I had the doner pizza from the seasonal menu and wanted to try at least three more from the regular menu. We also treated ourselves to the pancakes, which were also delicious. The food was a 5/5. And the service is also worth mentioning: incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick. They even provided water bowls for our four-legged friends, which was great! Overall, a very pleasant and delicious experience. I'll definitely be back, even though Ehrenfeld isn't around the corner for me.

We made our way to Virtuous Pie on Sunday afternoon, eagerly anticipating vegan pizza, and we were not disappointed! Although we accidentally arrived half an hour before opening time, we were warmly welcomed and immediately served a delicious Mühlen Kölsch beer. The food was simply fantastic; the pizza dough alone is in a class of its own. The flavors were so well-balanced that every bite was a delight. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service attentive, and everyone smiles. After the garlic knots as an appetizer, we had mac 'n cheese and a Don Ricotta pizza from the summer menu. As you can see from the photos, it was so delicious that it wasn't until we were eating that I thought of taking a picture of the delicacies 😄 The only downside: there was no room for dessert! But that's probably the best reason to make the trip again on our next visit to Cologne!

To say I ate the most delicious vegan pizza would be understated. I have to say, overall, I ate one of the most delicious pizzas ever this weekend. Everything was just right. Let's stop talking about vegan food and start talking about healthy, delicious food made entirely from plants, so we don't exploit our friends. Many thanks to the entire team.

What an AWESOME 100% Vegan Eatery/pizza Restaurant!!! Friendly staff, delicious Pizzas, great atmosphere, a place that Us Vegan Activists from Anonymous for the Voiceless hung out, on occasion, after our DAILY EVENT in July 2025, that was called One Dom Month. I took the waiter Flo's recommendation for each of the 3 times I visited this amazing establishment, the last was a SPECIAL not even on the menu!! By the second time I was getting hugs on arrival, got to know the Owner who was super friendly, as was the Head Chef (cook), and am more than confident to say I found some new friends here. Big LOVE to all the staff and cooks who are producing QUALITY PIZZAS for Humans who NO LONGER cause Animal Exploitation with their money when they make consumption choices!! Full regards. We really enjoyed our meal here; a great selection of vegan pizzas, not your run-of-the-mill pizza, but something a little more creative. The appetizers and desserts were also delicious! The service was friendly, but overwhelmed (which was also reflected in the incorrect bill). If we lived in Cologne, we'd come here more often!

The already small menu offers almost exclusively dishes made with meat substitutes. There's no classic salad or simply roasted vegetables to be found. Unfortunately, the taste is also subpar. The restaurant is probably being hyped by influencers. Unfortunately, for me, it's not worth a further visit.

Truly simply fantastic! I don't like vegetarian food even though meat is an option, but this really won me over. Instead of a Hawaiian pizza with meat, try it without. The cookie at the end is great for snacking together.

Great spot: you can find amazing western-styled vegan food here. The pizzas are awesome, the Caesar salad is delicious and the garlic knots are heavenly! Delicious! The best vegan salami pizza we've ever had. The selection is good, and the food tastes delicious. The garlic knots were also a highlight for us. The ice cream and desserts are also highly recommended. The staff were friendly, and the shop was nice and clean.

The people were super nice. But every time I've had half a portion, I've always felt nauseous and gassy. Maybe it's because the food is so highly processed. I won't be going back. Plus, it was very expensive—€15-20 for a pizza—and only semi-tasty. Unless you're into fast food.

Alternative vegan dishes, not exactly cheap, but very tasty

There was a pro-Palestine march that partially went through the restaurant property. Some of the protesters were harassing people who were sitting at their tables, including me and my husband. There was no point when staff asked them to stop, they did not stop them when they walked past the separation from the main street into the restaurant, not when they harassed people, not when they distributed propaganda materials, and they also did nothing during our arguing, yelling and distress from the harassment. When the rally was approaching our direction, one of the waitresses even smiled towards them. Now it's okay to encourage harm for me and my family, but it can be you tomorrow, and as long as there's a hashtag for it, you know where you'll be allowed to be harassed.

If you're in the area, you absolutely have to go here! Great service, delicious food, stylish—that sums it up. Our daughter and I received a warm welcome on Sunday evening, and they immediately gave our daughter something to paint. We were pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable prices for water :) When the food arrived, it was as if a piece of heaven had opened up to let in the sunshine. The pizza 🍕 was terrific, very, very tasty!!! If we didn't live so far away, we'd probably come here more often. Conclusion: More than a complete success 😊

The chicken Alfredo was cold on the inside and very hot on the outside, and it tasted of nothing; neither the chili nor the garlic oil added anything. The truffle mac and cheese tasted only of truffles, but unfortunately, it was also too bland. Very sad.

Very disappointing. We drove all the way from Rösrath and arrived at 9:30 p.m., although the website said they were supposed to be open until 10:00 p.m. However, we were immediately told that the kitchen was already closed. If opening hours are stated, they should be adhered to. This is annoying for guests and unprofessional.

The expectation was big, we were looking for a true vegan cuisine. Pizzas! They came almost one hour after we ordered. They were cold as the Arctic. The dinner lasted less than 10% of the time we waited for the food to come. When a pizza get cold, just eat it fast! We tried but the coldness was predominant enough to restrict our time eating. Just get it down and through.

Very delicious vegan food! You can indulge in vegan indulgence here, and the dishes on offer are different from standard pizzas, etc. They offer a variety of toppings. Also suitable for people with gluten allergies! The staff was immediately aware of my companion's celiac disease and asked what she could eat and how the dishes were prepared, and they were able to provide helpful advice.
