Very good food service friendly and fast

A place with a view, and that's it. The food is very bland and very cheap. The meat is dry and tasteless, with only the fat in it. It's a vegetable kebab with meat flakes. From what I've seen, people order something like pizza here... I don't know where the ratings are coming from.

I once went here for lunch and ordered a kebab. Unfortunately, after the first bite, I felt like there was a pebble under my tooth. Luckily, it was small, otherwise it could have broken my tooth. I pointed this out to the owner, but his behavior was completely unexpected. Furthermore, the service was terrible and very salty.

Our wishes were fulfilled. Friendly service and good kebabs.

This shawarma is one of the worst I've tried. The place is popular, the quality of the products seems good. But damn, the salt is bad, the purple cabbage with their sauce is terrible. And the lavash itself, oh my god, it's impossible to eat. I give it 1 out of 100. Thank you very much, this is my last visit. Whether to come or not is up to each person.

The kebab isn't anything special, but the price is fair and the staff are very friendly.

The only "VIP" thing here is the audacity. No wonder drunken BVB fans are lining up here like crazy – at least when you're completely drunk, you don't notice how shamelessly you're being ripped off. If you're sober and have a shred of self-respect, it's best to steer clear of this place. Or at least bring binoculars – so you can actually see the portion on your plate.

It was our first time at VIP Döner and the fries were the best I've eaten in years. Very crispy and super seasoned. As you know it from childhood. The kebab meat, we had chicken, was also super tasty and not as greasy as many people have. I thought the arrangement on the plate was great; it didn't look so squished and everything was there on its own. We'll definitely be back.

I have to leave a review here - this is my first stop for late night hunger pangs. I feel super comfortable, it's a great team and somehow I almost always order the same thing - Falafel Dürüm or pizza rolls and I can only recommend both!!

Food is okay. If you are in the city center you can eat there. I recommend the chicken.

+ Quality/freshness of ingredients + Cleanliness of the counter & staff (very well maintained) + price/performance + Speed + Taste (Lahmacun was fresh. Hot sauce is really hot, not just tomato sauce) - Very limited selection of salads, a lot of onion and cabbage in the final product I can't judge the kebab or the quality of the meat. From hearsay it is said to be mixed. Especially due to the central location, there are “peak times” during which the quality fluctuates greatly. I'm satisfied!

I always eat kebab without sauce and salad. The portion of veal that was in the kebab wasn't even half of what other kebab shops offer. The meat was salted okay, but over-seasoned with other things and extremely dry. The bread was also below average. There is no more than one star here. The friendliness also leaves a lot to be desired.

I ate a doner kebab. It was delicious and the doner kebab was ready in seconds. I was even able to eat in the shop after work. Very satisfied!

I arrived shortly before closing time, and they cut tomatoes especially for me because I really wanted them. I can only recommend this shop; they always pay attention to your needs. Great!

It was my first time there and I have to say I eat kebab everywhere in North Rhine-Westphalia, but I haven't eaten something that bad for a really long time. Big kebab ordered 2 euros more paid same contents like normal kebab only the bread is bigger. I wouldn't recommend it and will never come here again. Unfriendly to the point of not being possible anymore.

We were in the hotel opposite and smelled this kebab straight away. Well, what can I say - smell like a big guy, taste like a loser. Apart from the unfriendly staff, it was at least clean. At least what you've seen. Next time I'll ask Backwerk if they eat the leftovers themselves. Pray for me not to be a fool tomorrow. Amen.

Unfortunately, I have to say that this was the worst kebab I've eaten in Dortmund so far. The meat was very dry and didn't actually taste like anything, the sauces tasted like they were already bad, and the salad was nothing either. If you want to eat a delicious kebab, go somewhere else.

An absolute disaster – never again! I went to Vip Döner because I thought the name lived up to its promise. Unfortunately I was bitterly disappointed. The kebab tastes absolutely terrible! The meat had nothing to do with real kebab meat - it tasted as if a cheap meat sausage had simply been cut open and thrown into the kebab. What a disgrace! The store was anything but inviting. It was dirty everywhere and no one seemed to care about hygiene. The unfriendly service was particularly bad. No smiles, no “hello”, just annoyed looks and a feeling like you were unwanted. I absolutely cannot recommend this store. If you fancy a good kebab – go somewhere else! The most you'll get here is a bad mood and a bad taste in your mouth.

My son and I thought the pizza was delicious

I had a quick bite to eat before the concert, there were three of us and we were served by three employees behind the counter, and a fourth person then collected the money. Last but not least, a meal was missing, it wasn't calculated either, so everything was from the beginning, it was tasty, but the kebab had previously cut meat mixed with freshly cut meat, which caused a difference in the taste, and the confusion also caused a lot of confusion

Very good fast food restaurant. You can eat Doner as well as pizzas. His staff is kind and helpful, helped us to order what we wanted we wanted since we didn't know what to put extra in the Doner. The prices are reasonable.

The interior looked very good and clean. The food also looked fresh and tasty from the outside. However, the most important thing about kebab is the meat. It had a strange taste of its own. The hot sauce was acceptably hot, but had hardly any flavor. Regarding the service: I was greeted nicely. When I was asked whether I wanted take-away or dine-in, I looked around briefly to see if there was a seat available. At that moment the worker dropped the kebab into the holder and turned his back to me (of course he also had other things to do, but he should probably wait two or three seconds)

This might sound like a joke, but seriously, honestly and without joke - I'm biting into my Dürüm kebab and suddenly I'm biting into something hard and shit that's been wiped clean without any joke, joke, joke or ass - then I bite down a screw; how come?!?!? Yes, dear readers, I was wondering that too, I have no idea. Maybe it's a free addition, but then it would be nice if VIP Doner mentioned it before I have to consult my dentist about a new set of teeth. Taste nevertheless, satisfactory; except metal fine I also think it's good that people who use a wheelchair can also use this restaurant.

THE BEST salads I've ever eaten in my life. Fresh, juicy, perfectly seasoned. In kebabs they always seem to be just an addition, but here they do all the work. I'm delighted. A big plus for fast and friendly service. I will come back here when I visit Dortmund again.

I don't like the food, especially the meat (the most important thing about the kebab). Actually the location is perfect, you could do a lot more with the store.

The food is poor - especially compared to the other many kebab places in the area. Service is normal and atmosphere too. They are especially lucky to be in a good location. You just walk into it and that's why we went there for dinner, but we've had better ones in town!

Meat pure disaster. Extremely much cartilage in there. Tastes like frikandel, just like separated meat 🤢 Food with absolutely inferior ingredients.

Long opening hours, after not being allowed in the club twice, it's really good. But sucuktaschen was way too spicy (apparently only today because of a wrong delivery blah blah). The employees were committed, but only in the aspect of showing me that as a Turk 🐺 I can't eat spicy sucuk. Experience was so semi, would not recommend, only when times are really tough. - written for my Turkish friend, the author of this review does not make any racial claims

Didn't convince me! 👎🏻 The shop is in the middle of the city, nothing else, but the food isn't that great. 10 € for a menu where the kebab tastes anything but delicious, the portion of fries is puny, the only sensible thing is the bottle of cola. The ambience is also not the real thing, no toilet, at least probably only for the employees and the service is also rather poor. The employees converse in Arabic and are more likely to be among themselves than with customers. All in all, not recommended! Unfortunately in Brückstr. not an isolated case! It used to be much better and more familiar, unfortunately it has to be said.

The kebab is definitely not recommended, especially when you have such a large selection of kebab shops on Brückstrasse. Again about the kebab, bread not homemade, sauces are completely normal. So for the price I wouldn't eat there again
