VINCE Vinoteca & Ristorante in Hannover

We had the 5-course menu with wine pairing. It wasn't on the menu, but it was offered to us upon request. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was very attentive, and the wines paired perfectly with each course. It was also no problem to swap a dish or dessert. Vince is quite expensive, but it's worth every cent. We'd love to come back!!!

5 stars plus for the outstanding cuisine, a highlight both in terms of taste and appearance. We had a 5-course menu with excellent wine pairing, and every course was a 10 out of 10. The price is also great, compared to some other high-class restaurants in Hanover. The service was excellent and super friendly. We felt very comfortable and had a wonderful culinary evening. Great wine bar with delicious food. Unfortunately, the service is very mediocre. Since we were ignored after the main course/first drink was served, we paid and left.

I've been a frequent guest. The food and service were always appealing and attentive. This time, however, I have some criticism. The chanterelles weren't cleaned well; there were dark brown spots on the caps and stems. The waitresses didn't ask if everything was okay immediately after serving, but only when clearing the food. All in all, this visit was unsatisfactory and disappointing. In case someone asks why I didn't say anything, these are hygiene issues. Chanterelles must be cleaned well. This has nothing to do with the fact that a dish might not turn out so perfectly.

I went to eat at Vince with my brother on a Saturday evening. We had reserved a table for 6:30 p.m. It got quite busy around 7:00 p.m., so it's always best to make a reservation before eating there. We opted for the Vince menu with wine pairing. The food was excellent, and as a novice, I found the wine pairing very pleasant and fitting. The service staff were all very friendly and relaxed, so we even had a few laughs together. The only minor drawback was the room temperature: it was VERY warm. Otherwise, everything was great, and we'll definitely enjoy the next seasonal Vince menu. Thanks for this experience!

The food was excellent. However, we noticed that the bread was served without gloves. From a hygiene perspective, it would be desirable if appropriate measures were taken after clearing used dishes before food like bread is directly handed over.

The food tasted good. The service was a bit distracted. The wait between the starter and main course was too long, about 30 minutes. The dishes were then ready to be picked up, but the waiter ignored the repeated ringing of the kitchen bell. So the food arrived late and lukewarm. I think charging €9.50 for a 0.7l bottle of still water is far too expensive, sorry. Finally, the waiter should know that when someone orders the bill, it should be brought promptly because guests want to or have to leave. Taking 10 minutes to do this and then taking other orders, etc. is not recommended. The chef, however, was sensational. It was delicious.

We experienced an upscale and elegant atmosphere with a good dinner. Very attentive service. A visit is highly recommended. The premises are located in a former bank vault. We will definitely be back.

Geburtstagsfeier mit 14 Personen im separaten Raum. Begrüßungsdrink und dann ein 5-Gang-Menue mit Weinbegleitung. Die Menuefolge wurde mit den dazu gehörigen Weinen erläutert. Die Qualität und die Aromen ließen keine Wünsche offen. Die Preise mehr als angemessen. Ich werde bald wieder im Vince sein.

Very friendly service, good food, chic atmosphere

The ambience is very harmonious, the large safe door and the old lockers are a wonderful eye-catcher. The service and the food were great, the portions were big enough, difficult to manage with a starter...everything was very tasty and wonderfully prepared. We liked it very much.

Service gut! Ambiente gut! Essen katastrophal! Pasta bzw. Gnochi mit jeweils Fleischsossen Bologneseart, ohne irgendwelchen italienisch typischen Geschmmachsvariationen, trocken, ungewürzt- gibt es von der Firma Kraft im Glas besser! Salz, Pfeffer Öl .musste extra, für einen Italiener untypisch, nachgeordert werden. Meine Empfehlung, den Koch sofort rausschmeißen, kann unmöglich Italiener sein! Die Qualität eines Restaurants beweist sich auf dem Teller!!!! Das ganze "Chichi" ist nur Beiwerk! Hier- mehr Anspruch als Wirklichkeit!!!

Good restaurant for a nice evening in Hanover city center. We had a delicious meal and drank wine here. The starter was on point, the pasta was delicious and the raspberry sorbet for dessert was a good ending. In certain places the service could have been a little more attentive, but that's complaining at a high level.

An attractive restaurant with wonderful food! Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to the Vince Restaurant - we had known about the wine bar (which is also highly recommended) for a long time. We chose the antipasti variation and the truffle pasta - both excellent. Maybe the pasta could have used a little more truffles, but I don't want to be petty. It tasted really good! The Tirmasiu was also delicious. The only negative point: Despite reservations, we waited a relatively long time at the bar for our table and we also had to wait some time for the menu.

Great restaurant, food and service very appealing

A bit like a train station, noise level unbearably loud. There were waiting guests around our table who would actually belong in a waiting area or perhaps at the bar. Technically the food was well prepared and served with style. The service was very good at the beginning, but unfortunately it declined as customer frequency increased. For a good meal you also need the peace and quiet to properly appreciate the dish, which was unfortunately missing here. This assessment is a purely subjective snapshot, but was shared by all four people at the table.

Lovely place with superb service. It feels very fancy in a relaxed sort of way. The wine list extensive, pricey and very good. Sorry to rate the food less so - many items were way too salty and some (scallops and beef in our case) just not pristine. With smaller portions so beautifully presented one normally wants to lick the remaining sauce off the platter. Not so here, the evening we were there. The prices were consistent with way better.

Inconspicuous from the outside and very impressive from the inside. Further visits will definitely follow in this pleasant atmosphere, the selected dishes and the attentive service.

After all the recommendations, we tried the truffle spaghetti. They were subtly seasoned and basically delicious, but for me it was too greasy due to too much truffle butter. The Vince spaghetti was tasty, a bit spicy, which wasn't stated on the menu. The starter variation was quite okay. I didn't find the espresso very good, as it apparently didn't come from the portafilter but from the fully automatic coffee machine, at least in terms of appearance - no crema - and taste. Overall a bit expensive. The two of us spent a little over 100 euros. The service was ok - unobtrusively nice. The ambience is stylishly designed. The location wasn't completely full, but it was still a bit loud. In short: I was looking for something special, but didn't find it here. It was just okay.

The food was outstanding. I had the Pfifferlinge (Chanterelle) Cream soup as an appetizer and the spaghetti with truffles. The wait staff is excellent, prompt without hovering over you. I highly recommend Ellena.

The service was friendly and flexible. The food was good, but not outstanding. The bulgur was very good, as was the fresh bread in different variations. The olive oil was not fresh and not well produced (although this is almost always the case in restaurants). The mixed salad was simple and of rather poor quality. The fish dish was good. The atmosphere is cozy, but spacious and open.

Unfortunately, Vince is becoming more and more slack. It was really a good restaurant to begin with. Meanwhile the service is poor and unfortunately the quality of the ingredients is too. For example, the beef fillet is very meaty and not spicy, the mushrooms are overcooked. The wine list is super large, but unfortunately no one has any idea about the wines. Please pay attention and come back to your origin. We need good restaurants like Vince

There wasn't much going on, but we were seated right next to a group, which was a bit disturbing. However, the staff is friendly & attentive. The portions are very large and we liked it, only the fior di latte was not seasoned and accordingly bland.

There were two of us celebrating a birthday, the table was beautifully decorated, the service was very nice and polite. The food is to die for. We ordered the rack of lamb and the beef cheeks. The restaurant is very nice and stylishly decorated. The highlight for me was the dessert. We ordered the “gold bar” and the coconut dessert. I've never had such a delicious dessert. The food is really good. Well crafted and good ingredients. Unfortunately, for the second time, the service was simply not on par with the food. For example, despite repeated requests, the wine only came after the main course. Another time the red wine was colder than a glass of white wine. It's a shame - the potential unfortunately falls by the wayside...

The meal was excellent. The price is also right. I had tuna which was really fresh... What was a shame is that the service preferred to re-set tables instead of taking care of guests. We waited forever for tickets to be brought to us upon arrival, and just as long for the water - we only got the wine we ordered at the same time after two warnings, when the food had already been served. About the ambience: very nicely decorated with a few drawbacks. But it was a shame that it was very cold - the women in particular were freezing in their evening dresses.

Lunch. Truffel white Bolognese & Truffel pasta top as was appetiser of beef carpaccio, including 2 glasses of wine. One of the waitresses unfortunately not very attentive, mixing up orders and then saying this is what u ordered, which clearly was not the case. Bit of a pity to have such attitude to an otherwise good lunch.

Our new favorite restaurant in Hanover! Really just to feel good and enjoy great food. Service was super attentive and accommodating and the quality of the food was simply incredible! We are already looking forward to the next visit!

Wir waren zu dritt dort Essen und es war top. Als Vorspeise hatte ich Carpaccio mit Trüffel... das war hauchdünn, wie es sein muss. Als Hauptspeise gebratene Entenbrust...die Haut knusprig und das Fleisch zartrosa...perfekt. Auch der Nachtisch war sehr, sehr lecker. Ich/wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln. Die Weinbegleitung (Rot und Rose passte auch perfekt). Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend!

Essen und Service 1A, auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Man sitzt auch nicht so eng aufeinander, so dass man auch ohne Sorgen über geschäftliche Dinge sprechen kann. Komme gerne wieder.

Ich war mittags da. Antipasti gegessen. Grauburgunder von Jerman getrunken. Das brot verweg großartig. Auch die Antipasti von hoher Qualität. Freundliches und professionelles Serviceteam. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Chose here for a family meal as it appeared every restaurant in Hannover was fully booked for work Xmas parties. Despite there being a number of large parties in we were seated promptly in a quiet corner which suited us well. The choice of food was excellent and all enjoyed themselves. My eldest daughter had octopus for a starter and it was the gem of the evening by far. Highly recommended for food, wines ( enormous wine list), staff and ambience. A must visit!

Sehr schönes Restaurant und sehr leckeres Essen. Einzig und allein der Service war nicht top, das lag aber sicherlich daran das am Samstag abend alle Plätze voll belegt waren. Hier sollte das Restaurant ein paar mehr Servicekräfte einstellen.

Wir kommen immer wieder gern ins Vince. Man wird freundlich empfangen und so zieht es sich auch durch den Abend. Fühlen uns sehr gut aufgenommen, werden gut beraten, der Service ist sehr zugewandt dem Gast gegenüber. Die Karte ist überschaubar und erschlägt einen nicht an Angeboten, wird auch regelmäßig gewechselt und saisonal zusammen gestellt. Die Weinkarte spricht für sich, auch hier werden wir immer gut beraten. 5 Sterne in allem, ein Restaurant wo wir gern einkehren

Food was nice, manager doing amazing job greeting people and taking care of. You will see a lot of good looking people here. Food is good though it feels little bit greasy and some combinations are quite local I would say. Prices are not high, you can have a nice dinner here for sure but better book in advance.

Lunghissima e pregiata lista dei vini, il locale cantina, a vista nella sala, è per lustrarsi gli occhi . Menù soprattutto a base di carne, ben cucinata e di buona qualità. Buoni I tagliolini al tartufo (nero e non particolarmente profumato). Il servizio lascia un po' a desiderare, poca attenzione al cliente e tempi lunghi di attesa (Abbiamo dovuto sollecitare il vino, che è arrivato dopo i primi piatti.. abbiamo chiesto il sale, che è arrivato solo dopo un sollecito... hanno fatto assaggiare il vino solo della prima bottiglia, le altre subito servite, senza nemmeno annusare il tappo...). Tutto sommato bella serata.
