I had dinner there with a colleague on Tuesday. We really enjoyed the food and the taste. The service was very attentive.

The various dishes lacked any particular flavor. On "pizza day," the pizzas were quite thin and extremely dry. Furthermore, the waiter seemed dissatisfied with the tip. And what kind of bill is that? The bill was an *interim bill*! This leaves room for speculation. We won't be coming back, despite the very nice ambiance.

We had a very good meal in the evening atmosphere by the Olchinger Weiher lake. The pizza was excellent, and the pasta dishes were also perfect. We really enjoyed it.

I would have gladly given it zero stars. Absolutely unfriendly people—I've never experienced anything like it! The beautiful location unfortunately can't make up for the incredibly bad staff!!!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED

Great food with beautiful view of lake. There is also a Biergarten that opens at 3 after the main restaurant closes. Good vegetarian options for pizzas. Our pizzas came quickly. We reached around closing time so servers were servicing in a hurry, not so nice way. But the food was very good. Lot of wine options. No cocktails available. Just Gin Tonic and Aperol Spritz.

We were only there for ice cream. But the house was very nice and the restrooms were very clean.

A lovely Italian restaurant right on the waterfront with excellent, authentic cuisine and warm Italian charm. The pasta dishes are sensational, and the prices are relatively fair for such a location. In addition to the stylish interior, there's also a beautiful terrace—I'd love to come back. It feels like a short vacation in Bella Italia 🍕🍷🇮🇹

Very beautifully located Italian restaurant with nearby parking. The food was good. Unfortunately, I didn't find any designated vegan dishes on the menu, but you can leave out the cheese from the vegetarian dishes. I opted for a minestrone without Parmesan and homemade bread. €9.80 is quite expensive. My friends had pasta and calamari with a side salad. Visually, everything looked very good. It was good. The ambiance is very nice, bright, and not too noisy. We sat by the window and had a pleasant conversation. The waitress was really very friendly. She came by a little too often to ask if we wanted anything else...but better than too little. When the weather is nice, I should visit the beer garden again; I'll get back to you then. I was here for my wedding anniversary after spending my bachelorette party here a year earlier, and we went home very satisfied and full. Everything was perfect, I can't fault it.

The food was okay. The location is perfect.

Not recommended!!! You'd be hard-pressed to find any Italian flair there. The two German waitresses were so unfriendly and inappropriate! I had made an online reservation three days in advance and were assigned a provisional table at a long, crowded table right by the entrance... where it would have been almost impossible to have a conversation and we would have been elbowing each other... when we declined, one of these unfriendly waitresses actually told us... we should have mentioned in the online reservation that we wanted a separate table. The whole thing was beyond rude. When we wanted to leave, she came back and assigned us another table. We stayed for dinner, but friendliness is different!!!

We dined at Villa Romantica last night. There's nothing to complain about the food—it was delicious. The server was humorous, but it's ridiculous that he charged us for a drink we didn't order, but he misunderstood it. I said no, thank you, and he probably just heard me say thank you. After this experience, we wouldn't eat there again.

This time we went to the beer garden right by the lake. The pizza there tastes just as good as the one at the restaurant. I also love the spritzer there. We're often allowed to take the glass back to the lake and sit on one of the benches there, enjoying the view.

You don't have to cross the Alps to enjoy Italian flair.

A real gem, located directly on Lake Olching. My favorite restaurant with ambience. The food is extremely delicious, lovingly prepared and made with great care. I was particularly impressed by the way you are treated as a guest... friendly, attentive, genuine. You feel warmly welcome and that is what makes this restaurant so special. I sincerely wish the host family continued joy and success as well as many nice guests who appreciate this wonderful place.

Wir waren zum 18. Geburtstag meiner Tochter fünf Personen zum Abendessen da. Wollten eine gemütliche Abend mit gutem Essen verbringen. Die Kellnerin die uns vorgeführt hat, hat uns von einen Tisch zu den anderem zugewiesen. Der Kellner war ständig am Tisch um Bestellung zu nehmen, wirkte ungeduldig, nichts mit gemütlich und gesellig! Das Essen hatte kein Geschmack, eine Sahnesoße über Bandnudeln mit Lachs, mit ein Blatt Petersilie als Deko darauf! Nichts für den Gaumen, nur mächtig und stumpf und teuer! Schorlen wässrich! Hatten dann auch kein Lust mehr weiter was zu trinken! Einzig gute waren die Pizzas.

Found spontaneously via Google. Were warmly welcomed and given a nice spot on the great terrace. We were served friendly. And we got some really delicious pizza. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The ice cream for the daily dish was also very tasty. If we are nearby we will definitely come back.

Went to the leisure area for dinner, nice cozy atmosphere with a view of Lake Olching. Service was very nice, friendly, concerned about its guests. Food was good. Price performance ok.

We come from near Cologne and were able to reserve a table very late. We were greeted incredibly warmly and familiarly. The food came really quickly and it was really, really good. The service was friendly and made great recommendations, which we also tried. Here too, everything was simply perfect. The ambience is incredibly beautiful. A great combination of Mediterranean and modern and yet with a romantic Italian flair. We would love to come back. Best regards

Auf der Durchreise bei schönstem Wetter haben wir einen Ort gesucht, an dem wir in nettem Ambiente eine Kleinigkeit essen können. Über Google kamen wir dann auf die Villa Romantica am See. Als wir dort ankamen, hatten wir zunächst den Eindruck eines "Touri-Restaurants" bzw. "Ausflugslokals". Wir setzten uns dennoch draußen auf die Terrasse, weil wir keine Lust hatten, unverrichteter Dinge weiter zu fahren. Und wir wurden positiv überrascht. Netter Service, gutes Essen, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Without exception the best restaurant in a long time. Everything was just right.

A fantastic restaurant located on a very nice lake. They have pizza made from spelled flower. We travel from Augsburg regularly to eat there. Service is great and the restaurant is very nice. A walk around the lake is a perfect finish… we sometimes do 3 rounds if weather is great.

So, I only had cake and coffee. That was all great. The service was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I can highly recommend it.

We have been regular guests here for years. And since delivery has also been available, we have been very happy to use this function. The service is great, the food is always warm and the suppliers are always nice. We were always well served in the restaurant. Highly recommended

Ordered pizza and bruschetta via Lieferando and waited for 1 hour instead of 45 minutes as stated, only to receive a completely soggy and bad pizza. This was by far the worst pizza we have ever eaten. What a shame!

Ordered there for delivery. I don't recommend the experience to anyone. Waited twice as long as stated for our food (over 1.5 hours); arrived lukewarm. Dishes bland, the pizza dough and base far too thick and soft, and on top of that cheap and tasteless cheese. If we hadn't eaten we would be hungry but happy. So, to the complete disappointment, you get a fantastic stomach ache. !Under no circumstances order for delivery! Completely inexplicable, because when we ate there everything was good. We checked several times whether it was actually the same restaurant because the quality standards were worlds apart and we couldn't explain it.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt seit einiger Zeit überhaupt nicht mehr! Die Gerichte sind gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich und rechtfertigen nicht dieses Preisniveau. Schade, wir kamen immer gerne her, sind aber nicht mehr gewillt diese Preise zu bezahlen.

Excellent Italian cuisine with a very good price/performance ratio. There is a regularly changing daily menu with pizza, pasta, meat and fish. The portions are very generous. The house wine is very good and the service is friendly and attentive. We also like to come in summer for the terrace with a lake view. A reservation is recommended.

Villa Romantica has been with me for many years! We like to visit the beautiful beer garden/terrace in summer… as well as the restaurant in winter! I spent the Christmas party there with my staff a few times! Same this year! The food was very tasty, except for the shrimp, which was replaced without any problems! There is nothing to complain about! Unfortunately, the lady from the service has to complain about...we felt rushed throughout! The restaurant emptied early, it was generally not well attended! At half past nine I asked how long it would be open today and the lady said until eleven o'clock! I then ordered a second bottle of wine… for five people, mind you! The order was then accepted with a bit of annoyance! I asked politely whether she had to stay because of us... this didn't invalidate her! At a quarter past ten we threw in the towel... I went to the counter to pay! I got a little lost with the money... then the lady said whether the last round was too much! I couldn't think of anything at first! It should probably be a joke... quite tasteless and inappropriate towards the guest! We had a decent meal… and the tip was more than reasonable! Too bad... Really bad catering for a Christmas party!

Das Restaurant ist idyllisch am Olchinger See gelegen. Wir waren seit Jahren in unregelmäßigen Abständen hier zum Essen. Mittlerweile hat die Qualität drastisch abgenommen und die Preise sind exorbitant gestiegen. Wir waren Anfang Dezember zu viert zum Mittagessen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Vitello Tonnato. Das letzte Mal hatte ich das Gericht hier im Sommer gegessen und es hat gut geschmeckt. Dieses Mal war es eine Katastrophe. Die Thunfischkapernsauce hatte nichts mit Thunfisch zu tun, sondern nur einen unangenehmen merkwürdigen Nachgeschmack und das zu einem Preis von 19,50 €! ich habe noch nie und nirgendwo so ein schlechtes Vitello Tonnato serviert bekommen. Bei der Pasta mit Steinpilzen für 21,50 € (!) hätte man zumindest frische Steinpilze erwartet, nein: es waren aufgeweichte geschmacklose Pilze mit einer unterdurchschnittlichen Sauce. Dann wird eine Portion Saltimbocca für 26 € angeboten, dazu als Beilage ein wenig Gemüse für 6,00 €. Das alles ist vom Preis und der Qualität nicht mehr hinnehmbar. Warum soll man für derart schlechte Qualität so viel Geld bezahlen. Wir haben uns vor Ort nicht beschwert, da wir eingeladen waren und nicht selbst zahlen mussten. Es ist kein Wunder, dass das Lokal nicht mehr gut besucht ist. Wir werden zukünftig das Lokal nicht mehr besuchen.

A wonderful Italian restaurant in an idyllic lakeside location. However, the prices are now just outrageous! Villa Romantica used to be perfect for dining out or larger celebrations, but now the prices of the food in the restaurant and in the beer garden have increased significantly, as I find €12.50 for a Margherita pizza excessive. Even €5 for a fries is a bit too much.

I've been here probably ten times now, but unfortunately the quality has continued to decline. The pizza is often burnt and doesn't taste as good anymore. It's a real shame because I used to really appreciate this place.

BUT the prices are now no longer understandable, completely unreasonable, sometimes bordering on rip-off, for example the open wines or the main courses. It's a shame - I already know several people who no longer go there for exactly that reason

We recently visited for a little rest and to consume food and drink, but those who are outside serving at the fast counter lack a little professional training, kindness, in short, a little better attitude to their work. Our orders were brought back together. It was a bit chaotic even though we ordered simple food like fries which we got half frozen.

We only tried the beer garden. Food is kiosk or snack bar quality, baby food so to speak. But it's nice to sit there after bathing.

Super nice, relatively classy restaurant right on the lake. The food tastes excellent - six of us ate here and we were all more than satisfied! The waiters are super friendly and attentive. You can sit outside on the veranda or inside and enjoy the view.

The food is very good. However, I think the price-performance ratio is not quite right. Open soft drinks in particular are simply too expensive. For many people this is generally too expensive.

The starter with different Italian aperitifs was excellent. On the other hand the pizzas are very very thin, lack of cookingx almost no food on them apart from a ton of cheese... which makes the pizza very salty and not necessarily pleasant to eat

Leider war der Abend enttäuschend. Außer einem netten Platz mit Blick auf den See. auf der Terrasse und freundlichen Kellnern wurden wir hier leider enttäuscht. Das Essen ist für die Qualität viel zu teuer und grundsätzlich sind die Preise von einem anderen Stern. Zum Beispiel 3 Mini Stückchen Bruschetta, die nicht mal getastet sind, sondern einfach nur kaltes Weißbrot geschnitten mit Tomaten, Ruccola und Parmesan für 12,90 €. Der Abschuss jedoch war, als ich auf der Rechnung den Preis für die Flasche Wasser gesehen habe. Eine Flasche stilles Wasser 0,75 l für 8,20 €! Das ist eine Unverschämtheit. Bin ich denn hier im Sterne Lokal!? Ich würde nirgends so viel zahlen, aber schon gar nicht hier. Was glauben die denn eigentlich, wer sie sind?!. In Italien ist das Wasser umsonst!!! Leute spart euch das Geld und geht zu einem anderen Italiener in Olching, dort gibt es bessere und preiswerteres Essen. Wir werden jedenfalls nie wieder kommen.

Idyllic location and very friendly staff. The beer garden is also highly recommended. Unfortunately due to Corona, everything is currently not available. But better times are coming again. Addendum 01/2024 Still great restaurant. Unfortunately, the prices have now risen sharply. 1 tiramisu for €11.00 is totally overpriced. The food has also become very expensive. Almost unaffordable for families. It's a shame actually. The adjacent beer garden is very nice but the prices here are also very high, especially considering that it is a self-service beer garden.

I think it's really beautiful!! Great ambience Typically Italian!! The view of the lake is also bomb!! We got bread with great olive oil… plus some salt… and perfect!! The noodles were fantastic!! And the waiter is a stunner!!! Thank you for that !!! That would be small Mmmmh... noodle portion really small for €22... I wouldn't have been full without bread!!! Otherwise, please continue like this!!

Although everything was free (2 people), we were only offered seats on the terrace of the restaurant that were in the passage (which no one really wanted), so we opted for the self-service beer garden. Taken a ham pizza and foil potato.

Beer garden no longer maintained. Weeds everywhere and some tables not clean. Women's toilet unkempt, no toilet paper or towels. Food used to be better. Invited for my birthday. Was very disappointed.

Really great restaurant 😊 The service is excellent and very friendly and funny, it puts you in a really good mood. The food is really good, I only had one dolci: the chocolate soufflé and it was delicious. The ambience is also wonderful - it has a very Italian flair, with a view of Lake Olching. We were worried that we would be bitten by mosquitoes, but that was limited. In summary, a fully recommended restaurant

The food is good. Unfortunately I had a fingernail in my pizza. I pointed this out to the staff in a nice and polite manner. I would have expected a little compensation because it's a bit disgusting. (Dessert on the house or something like that) Unfortunately there wasn't even an apology. I don't think you can do that as a restaurant. Therefore unfortunately only 2 stars.

I was there for the first time today because I wanted to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday there. I really like it, the Parma pizza tasted delicious, it could have just been a little crispier.

Fish from the weekly menu: Tastes old because it came on Thursday and was sold the following Wednesday for €34.50. Response to the complaint: oh, we're sorry. Sorry, that's a disgrace. Such a bad product needs to be removed from the bill and properly apologized for. I prefer to go to the city center, where the products are fresh and not more expensive. And for a 0.75L bottle of Pellegrini €8.20??? Is the restaurant on Maximilianstr???
