Dear Villa Coco team, we were with you today at 12:00 PM. We felt very comfortable. The steaks were very good!! (kudos to the chef). We really liked the ambiance – quiet and with subtle background music. The owners were very attentive and friendly! We would definitely come back. Very nice restaurant. The new terrace is very nice. The food was excellent. The staff was polite and accommodating, but unfortunately, they were occasionally overbooked. Even with pre-ordering our food (we were a group of about 13 people), we waited over 1.5 hours. Other tables arrived after us and received their food before us. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious.

Last Sunday, we wanted to go to Villa Coco with friends for dinner. At first, everything was pretty relaxed. We ordered our drinks and, a quarter of an hour later, our food. About two hours later, our food still hadn't arrived. Then I just wanted to ask if they were still thinking about us and hadn't forgotten about us. I was assured that the food was already ready (we had waited about two hours for it to be filled). So then it all started. The owner came over to us with a few plates and commented: "Here's the food for those who waited two hours." After that, I actually wanted to leave the place, but I only stayed for my friends. There was no apology, nothing. Later, she added another comment: "If I don't like something, I don't need to come next time." After that, the owner (I assume it was her husband) walked out. And again, without apologizing, he insulted me with the A word. I've never experienced anything so unfriendly and rude in my life. This is the "last" store I will ever recommend. Of course, I left after the insult.

Ideally, no stars! I witnessed a very unpleasant situation. In response to a customer's normal comment about the very long wait, the waitress (apparently the owner of the restaurant) completely lost it, slammed the plates on the table, and then insulted/heaped insults on the customer in front of the entire staff... The customer isn't even close to king in this restaurant. I'm disappointed and won't eat here and advise everyone not to!

Yesterday, we had a spontaneous family reunion. Luckily, we were able to get a table right away. We've rarely felt so warmly welcomed as a family anywhere. Despite having small children at the table, we were looked after patiently, friendly, and almost lovingly. Many thanks to the Coco family and their team. We'd love to come back.

We were there today without a reservation. Of course everything is full. We were kindly asked if we wanted to wait, but they couldn't tell us how long it would take for a table to become available. We still decided to wait. We were given a drink for waiting. Somehow the guests were stuck to their chairs and after a good half hour nothing became available. We spontaneously decided to make ourselves comfortable at a side table. The food was super tasty and the staff was great too. We enjoyed the evening despite the side table. We'll definitely come back. 😊

Quality is very important here with a top price-performance ratio. Every dish is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. Service is also very important here. The only drawback is that I'm missing a tiramisu on the menu. ;)

A great evening for two with absolutely good service, very good Italian food and a nice table conversation with the owner. And if you wish, pasta and pizza can even be gluten-free! That's the real deal... Everything is just right here. Therefore full marks and absolute recommendation! There aren't many restaurants like this left. It was worth every euro...

It wasn't as loud as other places and it wasn't hectic at any time. You could perhaps change a few things about the ambience, but the restaurant is an absolute recommendation. I like to drive a few kilometers to Bergneustadt for that! Many thanks to the team!

We had 3 dishes. The pizza tasted great. The pasta as we know it from Italy. I have never had grilled calamari served so perfectly. The service was very polite, courteous and not intrusive.

First time eating there after many years. Steak was great. Unfortunately I missed the pepper in the pepper sauce and the potatoes were over salted. The salad was great. Ambience and terrace very nice, unfortunately that was it….. Unfortunately the starter wasn't really satisfactory as I can also buy the pizza rolls at Lidl. Ordered 6 scampis, unfortunately served cold and carelessly, same with the potatoes. These were served in a bowl and are anything but “rosemary potatoes”. Ordered the same food twice, served differently. One has more mushrooms and more pasta, the other unfortunately has no mushrooms and hardly any pasta. For salt and pepper you have to get up and get it yourself as instructed by the staff. Aperol Sprizz for 8€ is a price that is okay these days, but not for less than 100ml, just as 1liter of water for 14€ is not proportionate. The food was tasteless, the staff was disorganized and not particularly friendly, and unfortunately you waited too long for the bill despite asking twice, so you had to get up yourself and pay at the counter. We won't be coming back, it's better to order food from a local kebab shop. It tastes more like Italian there than here, sorry! Luckily we weren't charged for the scampi and a portion of pasta, which was nice.

Food came once burnt, once not at all and the third time it just didn't taste good. Service is nasty and rude. The premises are nice, but that doesn't make up for it.

The Coco family pays attention to the high quality of the ingredients, the food is freshly prepared, very varied, the dishes are very attractively prepared, no one has to season their dishes. It was a pleasure. An all-round successful evening that we all enjoyed very much. It is recommended to reserve a table.

After waiting 1 hour for our food, our three meals arrived, all three of which were anything but tasty. It's a shame, the atmosphere on the terrace is really nice. We won't be coming back

Now the best Italian restaurant in Gummersbach and the surrounding area. 🤤Family business (cook and service) excellent. You can taste the love that is in every food. No matter whether pizza, fish, steak, tiramisu. We've never had pasta before. But they also look very tasty. In summer you can sit on the terrace and have a good time. If the chef's time allows, he regularly checks with each table personally to see if everything was OK. We can fully recommend this restaurant. 5 stars ⭐️ plus

A well-booked restaurant, with a nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and fast service. However, there are small slippages that I found unfortunate. It was my first time eating in the villa and because the restaurant was full, I didn't see the daily menu/board at the entrance and it wasn't mentioned to us or included on the menu. Only after our order had long been placed did another waiter draw the attention of the guests at the next table to the menu. I was annoyed because I definitely would have taken some of it. It sounded extremely good and looked good too. There may be a lot of regular guests there, but perhaps it would be a suggestion to draw attention to the offers in general. I was a little disappointed with the food. It was ok, unfortunately not very seasoned and a little dry. No sauce. I ate roast beef with parmesan and rocket, with a small salad and potatoes on the side. The salad dressing was really tasty. My partner also had a meat dish and said it was ok, but there was still a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste. He's had pasta before and it must have been delicious. Someone regularly comes to the table and asks if you have another wish. It was very attentive and well organized. All in all it was good, but not great. We would love to come back and then try the pasta and pizza. I would like to emphasize the ambience and the friendliness of the employees again. The selection of food and drinks is large enough so that everyone can find something that suits them. Whether big or small, vegetarian or with meat, you are in good hands here.

The restaurant is located directly on the main street in Bergneustadt. The menu is varied and offers something for every taste. The service is very friendly and the food was incredibly tasty. We had focaccia and a mixed antipasti plate as a starter. Various pizzas and my pasta dish as a main course. Everything tasted really good. My pasta was fresh and very tasty. I can recommend the restaurant.

Leckeres Essen, Preise OK, kleines Lokal mit Ambiente, guter Wein, Koch kommt noch selber. Parkplätze nah dran. Im Sommer mit großer Terasse. Echt gut.

Wir mussten auf unseren Tisch einen Moment warten, was aber kein Problem war. Wir bekamen vorab schon einen Gruß aus der Küche. Vielen Dank dafür. Das Essen hat alles geschmeckt. Der Service war super und alle zufrieden. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Als wir das Restaurant betreten hatten wurden wir herzlich empfangen und gefragt ob man auf der Terasse oder im Restaurant essen möchte, Die nette Kellnerin war zuvorkommend, sehr freundlich und immer für ein lustiges Gespräch zu haben.. Vorspeiße, Panierter Schafskäse mit Salat in Balsamicodressing und Focacia mit dreierlei Dips waren sehr lecker. Der Hauptgang 1x Rinderfilet vom Grill und 1x Rinderfilet auf einem Heißen Stein serviert waren bester Qualität und dazu der Leicht Süße Italienische Weißwein.. Perfecto👍🏼 Wir könmem das Restaurant Villa Coco nur empfehlen.

Ein toller Familienbetrieb mit Pizzen die außerordentlich gut sind. Der Service ist prima und die Preise sind angemessen. Die Pizzen haben einen sehr guten Teig, sind knusprig und sehr gut belegt. Meine Empfehlung ist die Pizza VILLA. Das Geschmackserlebnis ist wie in Rom, einfach perfekt.

Das Restaurant können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Wir waren heute (Karfreitag ) mit 20 Personen Mittagessen. Der Tisch wurde für 12 Uhr reserviert und das Essen im Vorfeld schon bestellt. Es hat alles super geklappt und die Betreiber des Restaurants waren sehr freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit. Es ist alles zu unser Zufriedenheit gelaufen und das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker. Ich war Mittags in der Villa Coco. Es dauerte einen Moment, bis wir begrüßt wurden. Ab dem Zeitpunkt war der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben die Tagliatelle bestellt - einmal mit Garnelen und einmal mit Filetspitzen. Der Zubereitung war schnell, aber das beste war der Geschmack. Die Version mit den Garnelen hat ein feines Tomaten/Knoblauch Aroma mit einer feinen Säure. Die Filespitzen sind intensiver und etwas würziger abgeschmeckt. Beides ist absolut zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank dafür.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Pizza mit Rucola und Parmesan gibt es leider nicht sehr oft. Pizza Calzone mit Käsesauce. Außergewöhnlich und extrem lecker. Freundliches Personal. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Sehr guter Italiener in Bergneustadt. Wir waren zu elf Personen dort essen. Die unterschiedlichen Gerichte kamen alle zusammen, frisch und heiss an den Tisch. Geschmacklich wirklich gut, Service sehr aufmerksam. Unbedingt nach der Titamissu fragen, steht nicht in der Karte. Ich werde gerne wieder hier her kommen. Sehr authentisches Betreiberpaar . Der Koch arbeitet mit Liebe zum Beruf.

Da es in Bergneustadt nur noch einen Italiener gibt, hat man entweder weitere Wege oder nur diese Möglichkeit. Nach Tests in Drolshagen und Gummersbach und Eckenhagen, kann ich nur sagen was besseres gibt es im nahen Umfeld nicht. Außer der Tageskarte mit Fisch, hier ist die Dorade immer Klasse, esse ich gerne Steak vom heißen Stein,beim letzten mal vom heißen Salzstein. Das Fleisch war auf dem Punkt,Klasse Wir haben auch schon mit unsere Familie dort gegessen... keine Wünsche blieben offen. Sollte wirklich mal was nicht schmecken (Miesmuscheln) sofort den Chef ansprechen er wird eine Lösung haben. Also wie unter Freunden. Kinder werden von Chef ,wenn er Luft hat gerne besonders behandelt Meine Enkel sind total begeistert bei Ihnen gibt es nur ein Restaurant
