Vietland in Berlin

I ordered to be picked up and was completely satisfied - I was able to pick up the food almost immediately and it was incredibly fresh and, above all, super tasty! I can absolutely recommend the Sichuan eggplant and for the extra portion of protein I ordered chicken with it.

Had a pleasant experience at this cozy Vietnamese restaurant. The Matsaman curry was flavorful, with a rich, creamy texture and a nice balance of spices. The portion size was just right, and the presentation was appealing. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it a great spot for a casual meal. Would definitely consider coming back to try more from their menu.

From the time it opened until now it has slowed down quite a bit. It's a shame, it was one of the best restaurants... The food was lukewarm and bland, the toilet looked shabby and it smelled of cigarette smoke.

One of the best Vietnamese in Friedrichshain. Good prices, nice hosts and there are really a few special creations like the eggplant-tofu combo that are simply umamiesque at its best. Definitely a recommendation.

Lovely ambiance with beautifully decorated interiors. The staff were warm and welcoming, adding to the experience. As for the food, I felt the portions could have been a bit larger, but overall, it was an enjoyable Vietnamese meal.

Early dinner was needed, restaurant was empty but reviews were promising. By the time we’d decided what to eat the place was nearly full. There’s a tapas section to the menu as well as a wide selection of main dishes. I ordered crispy duck served on stir fried vegetables with a mango curry. The food came in minutes and was delicious. €35 for two main dishes and two beers. Nice vibe to the pace. Definitely one to return to.

One of the best Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Berlin city Center. They have amazing vegan options and separate menu selection for kids as well. We have been here more than twice already and the taste and quality remains same all the time. Highly recommend this place for Asian food and tofu lovers.

Some of the nicest food we ate on our trip! Came to visit on the Monday evening and had to come back because it was so tasty. We had the dumplings, chicken fried rice, crispy duck and chicken satay skewers. The crispy duck was a stand out dish by far. Reasonably priced, friendly staff and the cocktails were lovely as well. Would recommend to anybody to come here

I am extremely disappointed, especially as a loyal customer that comes 1-3 times a week and always brings more people there. It is, or was, my favourite restaurant. Everything is usually always great and I know the Menu by heart. Except for this last time! when my Salmon was completely burnt and some pepper pieces had mould on them. You can see that in the 2nd plate above, the green moldy corners of the pepper and the black burnt salmon skin. You can also see black pieces in the sauce which broke into the sauce when I tried to peel it off the fish and made it so bitter. It was so burnt that I could barely peel it off. When I went to the waiter to ask them if they could please cook another salmon for me, this time not charcoaled, he replied - no, and that I am not supposed to eat the skin. Excuse me? I eat it every time, that's the point, it's crispy, and that is not an excuse for them when they over cook the fish. It was bitter and effected the taste of the whole dish. I ate that dish x100 times, so one time they burn it and refuse to replace it for a loyal customer?! That's so disappointing and extremely rude. You should treat your loyal customer better!!

The Pad Thai was good. Good prices, although my friend said that it’s not the cheapest lunch menu for similar in the area. Waiter was impatient for us to order but then we waited for about half an hour for him to come back after we finished. I told him we would pay together (intending to pay) and he gave the bill to my male friend :P

Great restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We've been here 3 times. However, 1x of it was not good. The soup didn't taste like a real pho soup. Something in it smelled strongly unpleasant and the taste wasn't good either. Possibly a bad day for the chef. We will still go there. Because the food was really excellent the two times before.

Excellent excellent excellent food! Great value for money, great flavor balancing, nice atmosphere (unfortunately it was too hot to sit inside but the place looks great and the atmosphere outside was nice). We also had really nice cocktails for a reasonable price.

The waiter who served us was very nice and welcoming, he managed to find us a table for two even though the restaurant was fully booked. We got the food quickly and everything was very very tasty, generous portions and good prices. We ate well and didn't get rushed at all even on a full night :)) I totally recommend this place!

Average food but good and friendly service. I ordered the Pak Choi dish and unfortunately the sauce was very thick, as if too much thickener had been used. The taste was very good, but the consistency was a bit strange.

I've been looking for a good Asian restaurant for a long time. Finally found what I was looking for. Eat like in Thailand. Very good ingredients and beautifully presented. You sit very comfortably and there is subtle music like “Ben Howard” playing in the background. Really pleasant, considering how hectic some other places of this type are. Also a top price-performance ratio. We would like to come again!

Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant in this area. They menu was extensive and I was so happy to find Bo la lot on the menu. The summer rolls and papaya salad tasted great and the food arrived pretty fast. The drinks were also pretty good here, though you should visit mainly for the food. Service was really good!

Very nice food and drinks, including some more traditional dishes. I love the spicy seafood udon meal! I have given one star less due to the high noise levels in the evening and the lack of a sufficient number of toilets. There is literally just one toilet per sex. You cannot even tell if anyone is inside which can be stressful for everyone involved and result in long waiting times.

Delicious lunch specials served til 16:00 at a very reasonable price (all under 10€). The waiter was remarkably kind, the free wifi is a plus for any travellers, and the vibe was super chill (calm music and aesthetic). Even the plates and bowls themselves are pretty. I recommend Vietland to anyone looking for Asian food in Friedrichshain.

The food is delicious, had an amazing Pho! And their duck wrap comes in homemade pancakes! The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff were kind and had an eye for detail-

I’m in love with the Massamaan curry here! Absolutely no-nonsense place. Lovely ambience and quiet street - away from the noise of Boxhagner Str but still closeby. It is my go-to place in the neighbourhood for Vietnamese.

The duck was delicious... Easy to set up, you have to like OSB boards...-it's not mine...
