Viet-Thai Gourmet in Hamburg

Very tasty & fair price. For a quick lunch, Viet-Thai is highly recommended. The dishes cost an average of 8-9 euros, are plentiful, very well prepared and of good quality. Everything is cooked and fried to perfection. There are additional lunch options, but experience shows that they are a little smaller than the dishes on the menu. The fried fish (lunch) tastes excellent! The staff is friendly and understands German well. Negative: The food, on the other hand, is presented rather simply on the plate and the ambience is a bit old. The toilet is more for emergencies. I still enjoy eating here regularly.

Just ordered for the first time and I am very satisfied. The meat and vegetables are fresh and delicious, as is the sauce. The ingredients weren't skimpy either. This isn't the last time I've ordered here 👍

Surprisingly authentic Vietnamese soups tried here. Hard to find anywhere else in Hamburg. Anyone who has traveled to Vietnam will appreciate this. I can't understand the negative reviews.

You can even buy cheaper plastic bags. This one lasted 5 min. Who lives further than that?!

I was there first and ate spring rolls and number 84 with duck, but the broccoli was already completely yellow, I always thought it was green. The duck didn't really taste like duck. And I wasn't even finished with the starter when the main course was very bad. So I'm definitely not coming back. The food looks better than it tastes.

We ordered this evening shortly before 9 p.m. via Lieferando and the app only showed a delivery time of 2 hours. My husband called the restaurant again afterwards to confirm that delivery would be made because they close much earlier. Was confirmed to him. After 45 minutes I get the call that we have to cancel our delivery because they didn't get a driver through Lieferando and are now closing. None of them had a car or a driver's license. It's really unbelievable, that's absolutely not possible. The woman was still annoyed on the phone and gave cheeky answers. We wanted to try the place because we've only heard good things and will definitely not eat there again after this promotion. Absolutely disgraceful.

Ordered food via Lieferando. After about an hour we got a call from a woman who was obviously already at home (child can be heard in the background, with a quiet voice, no “clinging” like usual in restaurants) that they couldn't deliver our food. According to her, they no longer had drivers or people with driver's licenses who could deliver the food. (?!) We should “simply cancel our order so that we can get our money back immediately”. Unfortunately there were no attempts to meet us and you could hear an annoyed tone. It's a real shame and a bit annoying, since you expect to eat at some point after about an hour. Apart from the excessive delivery times, very poor quality of service.

Rarely have I experienced such impudence as here! We order our food and after an hour we look and it says it will take another hour! I call the store and when I get someone on the phone who knows a little German, he tells me that my food has been ready for a long time, but no one from Lieferando is coming to deliver it! The employee wanted to explain to me that I had to take care of it and contact Lieferando. When he didn't like my suggestion that he should take care of it, he simply hung up. The gentleman didn't care that I had already paid, it wasn't his problem! Absolute disgrace, we wanted to try it because we had only heard good things, but anyone who has such disgusting service doesn't deserve a star!

Once and never again I wanted to order pasta, I asked for the price, the saleswoman simply replied cheekily, go buy kebab next door, very unfriendly staff. Absolutely not recommended

Prices have been stable and cheap for years. And perfect dishes. I always need 2 coconut soup.

Today I ordered sweet and sour duck "to go" - I got such FASS - only fat. Disgusting. Proportion of duck maybe 15 grams - I've never experienced anything like that. ; I'll never order anything from there again. Gourmet is probably a joke! I give this shop a wide berth. I took pictures of the FRASS, but unfortunately I can't upload them technically.

The average price for a main course is already very cheap. The food tastes good and you don't have to wait long.

Food: decent portions for a below average price. Also very tasty. Service: Friendly and fast. Ambience: Quite small and not a 5-star atmosphere, but you still feel comfortable and welcome. Conclusion: Come here if you are hungry, want to eat delicious Asian food and spend less than €15.

Service and food are highly recommended and inexpensive. We have been there a few times and have always been very satisfied.

Schon ein paar mal dort gegessen, bisher hat alles sehr lecker geschmeckt. Auch die Thai Suppe mit Rindfleisch echt gut 👍

Nicht alle Gerichte von der Karte sind über der Theke, aber die Ente genial.

Super Thai Imbiss. Sowohl für außer Haus, als auch für ein schnelles Essen vor Ort. Ich hatte Sommerrollen und Suppe. Beides sehr lecker!

Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist okay, aber der Koch war unhöflich und spricht so schlecht deutsch, dass er dazu noch aufgebracht wird, wenn man drei mal nachfragen muss, was er eigentlich gesagt hat. Ich gehe da nicht noch mal hin. Wer günstig im Asia-Schnellimbiss essen möchte ist dort aber richtig.

The only place in Hamburg where I get my fried duck with coconut red curry (gebackene Ente mit Kokosmilch und rotem Thai curry) for the last 3 years. Nuff said.

Tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten die 82 und 84, beides Ente mit Reis, Gemüse und Sosse. Mit je einem Getränk haben wir knapp 25€ bezahlt. Saftiges, knuspriges Fleisch, knackiges Gemüse, leckere Reis, nettes Personal. TOP
