We were there today at 3 p.m. and wanted a drink and a waffle, but when we got there, we realized that there was no one there except us and that the restaurant was closed due to a lack of staff, as a resident had told us. It's a shame we went for nothing, because the website doesn't list any changes to the opening hours.

Venloer Str. 86A very nice lady welcomed us there - we sat outside. You have to be a bit lucky for that, as there aren't many outdoor seating options. Inside, it was rather quaint, with long-time residents but also very friendly. The service was very attentive - they checked in between if everything was okay and if everything was tasty - and the grilled meat was delicious and, above all, surprisingly good value for money! In general, the prices are very fair, and I also really appreciated the Julischka as a nightcap on the house. 😁
