Gute italienische Küche. Extra scharfe Messer für Pizza

Die Pizza alla Zengara mit Thunfisch, Schinken, Paparika, Salami und Peperoni war sehr lecker. Als Vorspeise hatte ich Bruschetta.

Wir haben hier während unseres Aufenthaltes in Lemgo mehrfach sehr gut gegessen. Ich habe es selten erlebt, dass Service und Küche so gut Hand in Hand arbeiten. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Bereits seit Jahren ein absoluter Gewinn, für Lemgo. Sehr freundlich und kompetente Servicekräfte. Extrem leckeres, teilw. gehobenes, Essen. Sowohl Mittagstisch als auch abends. Sanitären Anlagen sind sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man kann beim Pizza zubereiten zuschauen. Kinderfreundlich.

Die Pizza alla Zingara war sehr gut mit frischen Zutaten belegt und hat sehr gut geschmeckt! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Ich komme gerne noch mal wieder zum Essen ins Vesuvio!

Wir fahren extra 100 km aus Dortmund zu euch hin. Sind jedes Mal auf neues begeistert. Absolut Empfehlenswert, Personal, Ambiente und vor allem das Essen verdienen viel viel mehr als fünf Sterne.

So ein kleiner Ort und so ein guter Italiener...👍Wir waren mit 10 Leuten hier, wir waren alle begeistert. Sehr lecker, egal ob Pizza, Nudeln oder Salat. Auch Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. Auch das Ambiente und die Beleuchtung: Klasse!👍👍

Das Vesuvio hat mich komplett überzeugt 🤯 Ich hatte ein Filet mit Tagliatelle und Trüffel , einfach nur 10/10. Das Fleisch perfekt auf den Punkt, die Pasta mega frisch und der Trüffel hat alles nochmal auf ein anderes Level gehoben. Wirklich eines der besten Gerichte, die ich seit langem gegessen habe. Für mich ganz klar: neues Lieblingsrestaurant entdeckt 😍 Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant für ein Familienessen, gutes Essen und freundlicher Service. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen, um weitere Gerichte zu probieren, und empfehle, den Pizzen etwas mehr Soße hinzuzufügen. Nur ein Hauch, damit sie nicht so trocken sind. Die Pasta war sehr gut, obwohl die Truthahnrolle etwas zu salzig war.

Sehr schmackhafte Gerichte, freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Tische stehen etwas nah zusammen. Alles sauber, modern, gemütlich eingerichtet. Gehe gern wieder mit meiner Familie dorthin.

Vesuvio ist seit vielen Jahren der Traditions Italiener in Lemgo. Gemütlich und wertig in einem typischen Lemgoer Fachwerkhaus wird mit Herz und Hand quirlige italienische Familien-Esskultur gelebt. Pronto! Schon steht das auf dem Tisch. Eine Reservierung ist dringend empfohlen. Manchmal hat man auch Glück beim Platzwechsel selbst in Stoßzeiten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder. Im Winter wäre ein Aussenvorhang vor dem Vorraum das i-Tüpfelchen gegen leichte Zug im Eingangsbereich.

Ein wunderbares italienisches Restaurant mit ganz besonderem Charme. Man spürt sofort die Liebe zur italienischen Küche – die Herkunft und Geschichte der Familie wird transparent und authentisch vermittelt, was dem Ganzen eine sehr persönliche Note gibt. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend, frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist warm, stilvoll und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt, sind alle mehr als satt geworden und der Service war aufmerksam und herzlich. Ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt. Leider wohnen wir etwas weiter weg.

A truly fantastic restaurant where everything was just perfect. I was there with a group of 35 people. Making a last-minute reservation was no problem. The food (spaghetti tossed in a Parmesan wheel with grated black truffle) was absolutely delicious. If I'm ever back in Berlin, I'll definitely come back.

Update after 7 years: Visuvio Lemgo… We need to talk. There are restaurants that quietly accompany you through the years – and then there's Visuvio. Rustic, modern, down-to-earth, and yet surprisingly refined. A restaurant with a long tradition in Lemgo, and rightly so. I used to write that it was worth a visit. Now I say: I come because I simply can't help myself. The standard has risen – noticeably. The kitchen works precisely, deliberately, without any frills. The prices have increased, yes, but they are honest. Quality costs. And here, you can taste every penny. The pizza? A poem from the stone oven. Thin, crispy, hand-shaped, large enough to fill you up, and good enough that you still want to finish it all. That's how it should be. No avalanche of dough, no cheese coating – just genuine Italian craftsmanship. The service is like a well-oiled machine: professional, warm, attentive. No forced politeness, but genuine passion. This "amore" is palpable in every dish and every word you hear from the team. Family-friendly, patient, and genuine – that makes all the difference. The decor is pleasantly understated. Simple elegance meets rustic warmth. Nothing is trying to ostentatiously impress – and that's precisely why it works. A place where you sit down and immediately know: This is just right. In the small Hanseatic town of Lemgo, Visuvio is one of the true highlights. And if I had to choose between the town's two main restaurants, the decision was easy: Visuvio takes the lead. We had a delicious dinner this evening. It doesn't always have to be pizza: my daughter is vegetarian and was thoroughly satisfied. My wife had a lovely roulade, and my lamb fillet was very tender and subtly seasoned. The service, as always, was attentive yet unobtrusive.

The food was delicious and served quickly, the staff were very friendly and hardworking. I highly recommend it! 👍😊

I've known Vesuvio since I was a child, first on Breite Straße, then later on Papenstraße. The food was always great. My favorite pizza is the Italiana (for 30 years now). We often get it to go. This pizza always had garlic on it. It was always listed on the menu! They asked if you wanted it with or without garlic. Now the garlic isn't on the menu anymore, and if you order it with garlic, you get an extra €1.50 (€3 for two pizzas just for garlic that's been on this pizza for 30 years). Seriously???

Ordered takeout. It was ready on time, but when I got home, I noticed that a dish was missing. I drove back, and there was no apology. The food wasn't very hot to begin with, and it was cold when I got home. One dish was very tasty, but the others tasted more like frozen convenience food. Maybe it's different when you eat there. I won't order takeout again.

Great restaurant, top-notch food and service. The ambiance in the "old" part was a bit dated for our taste, but that's a matter of opinion. Being able to reserve a table for the same evening in the afternoon was great. Unfortunately, we were seated at the back, exposed to the cool draft from the open patio door, which couldn't be closed because there were guests sitting outside. It's a shame, as it unfortunately became unpleasantly drafty as the evening progressed. The price/performance ratio was absolutely fine for the quality and service.

Unbelievable value for money! Top-notch service, very attentive, and all of their little requests were perfectly fulfilled. The location is beautiful; my in-laws were here 30 years ago and loved it again. A must-visit in Lemgo! A wood-fired oven, just as it should be.

More show than substance. The place apparently thrives on a reputation I can't explain. The service was practically nonexistent – very inattentive. The ambiance was okay. The food was average at best. The (pizza!!!) knives were so blunt you could ride on them. Definitely not a repeat offender.

Remarkable in every respect. Here the guest is king. A wonderfully beautiful ambience, a Mediterranean menu that makes your heart beat faster, Italian flair and top-notch hospitality. And the food is above average and delicious. Portions are sufficient and the meat dishes are cooked to perfection. Starters, salads and pasta dishes are all tasty and recommendable. Our server (Bani) deserves a special mention. We have rarely experienced such service and treatment. There were eight of us at the table and when we ordered eight meals including starters, he was able to take the entire order without taking notes. And not a single dish was served incorrectly. First-class service. We would gladly come back.

A family-run Ristorante of high quality in a beautiful old house. You have to wait at the entrance to be taken to your table. An extensive selection of dishes plus daily recommendations await the guest. We chose a small salad and two pastas. The salad was fresh and crunchy, the pasta was of excellent quality, extremely tasty and plentiful. The dishes at the neighboring tables also looked very good. The dessert, on the other hand, was boring and way too expensive. For a large scoop of ice cream and some brittle without cream, €8.50 is far too expensive. We were missing some bread or pizza rolls with dip or herb butter beforehand. This should be common in a ristorante of this quality. At the end there was a grappa on the house. As in most restaurants, there is a lack of staff, so everything took a little longer. A clear recommendation from us.

Been there again and again for many years, quality and taste are no longer what they used to be, neither are the prices. To this day I still don't understand why people would trip themselves up with such a long menu.

Unfortunately, we smelled of smoke throughout our meal....The pick-up people are standing outside and smoking....Never again! Something like that doesn't work when you eat in a restaurant. My pizza tasted like it was warmed up and we had to leave on time after 2 hours... The next round started in the pizzeria... That's not what a comfortable visit looks like... Unfortunately, thumbs down...

First of all: food was very tasty, prices (except for drinks) were reasonable. BUT: To charge €1 per box for every pizza that hasn't been eaten and you want to take away so that the food doesn't get thrown away, and to insist on it, is absolutely outrageous. Charging a smaller children's pizza with a discount of just €1 (€14 instead of €15) is extremely bold. Tiramisu, which you would like to take with you as dessert, is carelessly slapped into a plastic bowl, which is a real shame. All of this left an absolutely bad aftertaste and the evening was remembered unnecessarily negatively by everyone involved. Too bad!

The food is very good, but the service was sometimes very questionable. Wine glasses were touched on the edge of the glass, orders were sometimes only half taken and then you had to wait a long time for the next order, drinks were not poured, no questions were asked about whether the food was tasty, the wrong pasta was delivered so that I was finished with the main course when the right ones came. The fact that you got the bill without asking, but you didn't want to order anything else, was very strange and incomprehensible for someone like me who works in the catering industry. We won't be coming back for a while. Too bad

A very good Italian, I'm very picky about food and still feel like I would love every dish there. Price definitely matches the performance. The staff is very professional and we are very impressed by the atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. We also accept a longer journey for this.

Very tastefully furnished restaurant with a historical ambience in the pedestrian zone of Lemgo. Beautiful table lighting with dimmable lamps. The food was delicious, the service was extremely friendly and attentive. Our friends were also very impressed with the restaurant.

The flavors are good, but the food comes very late. Also, if you want to eat quietly and privately, this place is not suitable because the tables are close to each other and this does not necessarily provide a very peaceful environment.
