Alle Gerichte waren super, besonders perfekt war das Rumpsteak. Das Senioren-Kochkäseschnitzel war auch sehr gut, schade dass die Bratkartoffel nicht für alle reichten. Wir melden dies demnächst an. Die Beilagensalate waren super edel, wie auch die Getränke. Die 'Heiße Liebe' verlangt nach mehr! Besonderen Dank an die junge Bedienung Emilia! Nachtrag Februar 2026 Neuer Pächter, griechische Küche, Sonderwünsche nach Anmeldung. Bitte unbedingt Plätze/ Tische reservieren lassen, sonst gibt es einen Stau, nicht nur auf der A 5 !

Seit dem neuen Betreiber (griechische Küche), schöne, im positiven Sinne überschaubare Speisekarte. Die Gerichte, die wir hatten waren lecker, einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt... ein Glas, 05 l stilles Wasser kostet 5,00 Euro (man sieht nicht mal die Marke bzw. es könnte theoretisch aus dem Hahn kommen) und ein gespritzter Apfelwein, ebenfalls 0,5 l, kostet 4,50 Euro! Finde den Fehler.... 😉

Achtung! Ab Februar 2026 mit neuem Pächter neu eröffnet. Tolle Speisekarte und sehr gute Preise. Wir hatten unsere Sitzung mit 20 Teilnehmer, alle waren begeistert, von Vorspeisen über verschiedene Hauptgerichte, und auch Nachtisch. Bedienung ist flott unterwegs. Wir kommen bald wieder.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant vor Kurzem besucht und war absolut begeistert! Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich, das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam, und vor allem ist das Essen einfach unglaublich lecker. Jedes Gericht wird mit viel Liebe zubereitet – man schmeckt die Frische der Zutaten und die perfekt abgestimmten Aromen. Besonders die Spezialitäten des Hauses haben mir sehr gefallen – ein echtes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Die Vereinsgaststätte TSV Eschollbrücken ist für mich der absolute Preis-Leistungs-Kracher in der Region. So gutes griechisches Essen zu solch fairen Preisen kenne ich wirklich nirgends im gesamten Umkreis. Die Speisen sind durchweg frisch, geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und in großzügigen Portionen serviert. Egal ob klassische Grillteller, Gyros oder Vorspeisen, alles war bislang ausnahmslos super lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Zugegeben, die typische Vereinsheim-Ausstattung kann mit der Qualität des Essens nicht ganz mithalten und wirkt eher schlicht. Aber genau hier punktet der Service umso mehr. Das Team ist ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam, sodass man sich sehr willkommen fühlt und diesen kleinen Ambiente-Abstrich schnell vergisst. Unterm Strich eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die authentisches griechisches Essen zu sensationellen Preisen schätzen. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

Das war mal nichts. Unfreundlich, obwohl wir alleine im Restaurant waren. Essen eher unterdurchschnittlich. Gyros war zäh Also wenn der Besitzer sich selbst bewertet würde ich ja Abstand von diesem Restaurant nehmen.

Seit dem neuen Besitzer gibt es hier jetzt auch griechische Küche – und das merkt man sofort! Das Essen ist frisch, sehr lecker und authentisch zubereitet. Der Service ist freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und willkommen. Ein echtes Upgrade für das Restaurant. Klare Empfehlung!

This restaurant is amazing! I've rarely eaten such delicious German food. You can tell it's real craftsmanship from a trained chef. Wherever this gentleman trained, it was worth it. Today I had Handkäse mit Musik (a type of German cheese with onions and caraway seeds) as a starter, which was so beautifully presented and created such a flavor explosion in my mouth that I almost wanted to order another starter. For my main course, I was satisfied with a classic Bauernschnitzel (farmer's schnitzel), which turned out to be the best Bauernschnitzel in all of Hesse, in my opinion. For dessert, I had the Spritzgebäck (a type of German pastry) shown in the picture, which was so incredibly delicious; I would say everyone has to try it! The service was excellent – ​​the ladies were fantastic. They know what they're doing, are lovely to look at, and always friendly. It was our first time there with our dog and we were given a very friendly welcome. There was even a water bowl right at the table! Obwohl wir 3 Tage vorher telefonisch für Sonntag 13.00h reserviert hatten, gab es keinen reservierten Tisch für uns. Es gab allerdings 5 kleine Tische, die tlw. erst für abends reserviert waren. Trotzdem bot uns die Servicekraft nur 2 Plätze an einem 10er Tisch an, an dem bereits 8 Leute saßen. Erst nachdem wir insistierten, bekamen wir einen kleinen Tisch, den während unseres Aufenthaltes auch niemand anders beanspruchte. Das Essen, der Wildschwein Sonntagsbraten, war leider eine riesige Enttäuschung. Es gab 2 ca. 2 cm dicke Fleischscheiben, die sehr zäh waren, sehr rosa und tlw. Die angekündigten Serviettenknödel hatten keine Folie oder Tuch gesehen und stellten sich als normale Semmelknödel heraus. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder.

Mittagessen 16.02.2025 Es wäre besser gewesen daheim zu bleiben und selbst zu kochen. Es gab 1. Als Vorspeise: Frittierte Tintenfischringe ( vermutlich Iglo o.ä ) mit getoastetem Graubrot und Aioli (von Knoblauch höchstens ein Hauch) mit getoastetem Graubrot. 2. Hauptgericht: 3x Kalbsbraten mit einer hellen Kräutersauce; so wenig, daß wir nach etwas mehr Soße fragen mußten. Fleisch (höchstens 150g/Portion) nur mit Mühe eßbar (nicht ausreichend gegart und schlechte Qualität). Die Soße entsprach eher einer dicken Sc. Béchamel in der nach 5 Minuten der Löffel drin stehen blieb. Dazu grüne Bohnen (sehr wahrscheinlich gefrorene); einfach nur in Wasser gekocht, ohne Würze, nicht einmal Salz oder andere Geschmackszutaten. Getränke: 1 Glas Mineralwasser(0,3 l) , das die Vermutung aufkommen ließ es wäre Leitungswasser mit zugesetzter Kohlensäure Bedienung: Vermutlich Schülerin oder Studentin völlig ahnungslos und unqualifiziert. Wechselgeld bei der Zahlung der Rechnung automatisch rauszugeben schien unüblich. Wir verzichteten auf eine Forderung. Zusammenfassung: Äußerst unangemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. - 1xTintenfischringe: € 19,00 - 3x Kalbsbraten € 21,00/Portion - 2 Glas Wein: € 7,00/Glas - 1 Glas Wasser (0,3 l): € 3,60 und der Hit: 1x Soße extra € 3,00

We went to the TSV Eschollbrücken club restaurant with a group of eight and tried our way through the menu - an absolute pleasure! We were particularly impressed by the new tapas selection; everything was fresh and lovingly prepared. The cabbage roulade was also wonderfully hearty and perfectly seasoned. The short ribs were the absolute highlight: tender as butter, they practically fell off the bone on their own – a dream! And the schnitzels? Simply great – juicy, crispy and super tasty. A big compliment to the entire team for the great quality and friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

Von den vielen positiven Rezensionen bewegt waren wir mit 5 Personen zum Abendessen verabredet. Wir hatten 4 x Gänsekeule (vorbestellt) und ein vegetarisches Gericht. Leider war das Restaurant mit einer großen Vereinsfeier überfordert. Auf das Essen mussten wir lange warten und wurden von dessen Qualität total enttäuscht. Die Gänsekeulen waren nicht frisch zubereitet, sondern aufgewärmt und schwammen in einer Soße, die nicht nach Gans schmeckte. Lediglich das Rotkraut war genießbar. das vegetarische Gericht (es gab leider nur eins auf der reduzierten Karte) war ebgenfalls eine riesen Enttäuschung. Gebräunte Butter fehlte obendrein. Den Chef darauf angesprochen, erlebten wir eine weitere unangenehme Überraschung: arrogant und besserwisserisch. So geht man mit Gästen nicht um. Wir werden dieses Lokal jedenfalls nicht mehr besuchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen!

Christmas brunch on December 26th, 2024. Festive welcome drink was missing. Very festively not decorated. The buffet lacked jam and Nutella. The main course was good. I come from the Odenwald and know a lot of Kochkässchnitzel. I really enjoyed the schnitzel here. Very nice staff, very nice chef. Definitely coming back!!
