It's the deepest Middle Ages here. We wanted to eat, but unfortunately, we only had cash. Unfortunately, there's no ATM anywhere nearby. It's a joke these days. Sorry, I have no understanding for that! We'll never come back, even with cash!

We had beef liver that was grilled and very dry. The rice that served with it was very tasty. The second dish was shashlik. The meat was lean but only boiled, not fried. The sauce tasted like a powdered, watered-down ketchup. These dishes are not recommended, but we found the gyro with Metaxa sauce very tasty.

Our regular restaurant for many years...we love going there...my 7-year-old son even eats (cucumber) salad there...because the sauce is so delicious...the food is incredibly good...everything is fresh...the homemade rice is divine...everything is just right...what we've always noticed is that they've had the same regular staff for years...where else can you find something like that? Everyone gets along well and gets along well...the food there is amazing...and the prices are really reasonable...you're happy to tip...

Yesterday, four of us ate there. First, the salad was served without cutlery, with the indication that it would be brought later. This didn't happen. Then the main courses were served. The cutlery still wasn't there. We then went to get it ourselves. At the same time, the waitress also tried to get it. Unfortunately, the entire meal was already cold. Later, the young waitress asked us how we liked our meal. We politely explained what had happened. The table was cleared without comment, we were ignored, and we weren't served any further; even the obligatory, pleasant ouzo at the end was missing. It was a disappointing evening in terms of food.

The best restaurant in all of Mülheim. We go here at least once a month because everything is just perfect. If any restaurant deserves five stars, it's Vereinbar. Keep it up!

A highly recommended location for delicious food, a lovely outdoor seating area, fair prices, and a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Very friendly service :-) Always plenty of parking available.

That wasn't a brilliant performance. We wanted to eat something here again today. It was full. Yes, it is like that when the weather is nice. We ordered a cappuccino, a rhubarb spritzer and a chicken salad. Other guests sat down after us at the table next to us. The rhubarb spritzer came after 10 minutes. After another 10 minutes the waiter said the cappuccino is coming right away. After another 10 minutes the same thing happened again. The cappuccino will be here soon. After another 10 minutes the waiter said: I haven't forgotten the cappuccino. Then finally the cappuccino came. The chicken salad still wasn't there. I said: I want to pay, in cash. He was just about to name the amount when my husband said: we don't need the salad anymore. He must have forgotten it, because then he suddenly said: it's already ordered. We waited again. I was getting fed up. I went inside to the counter and wanted to pay. I wanted to pay for both drinks. Then he said: the salad is ready now. I said: I'll pass. One thing led to another. I know the restaurant industry has a tough time. But I can't understand when you order a salad and other guests who came after us were served hot food and had eaten. When you then say goodbye to guests with the words: You don't need to come in here anymore and then someone throws a 50 euro note at you. That's a ban from the premises. My husband wasn't happy when I told him outside. However, after speaking to the owner, who we've actually gotten to know as a nice person right from the start, we ourselves have little desire to come back here. I had actually thought that things like this could be sorted out between adults on equal terms. We are a little sad and disappointed, though. It's a shame anyway.

We stopped by for lunch on a whim and were very satisfied. The portions were generous and the value was reasonable. We'd be happy to return.

The VereinBar is now one of our regular restaurants. First. The dishes are very tasty and appropriately sized. The price-performance ratio is absolutely great. Second. The service is extremely friendly and attentive and accepts all requests with a smile. Third. The location - simple but good. If you want you can watch football in the hall. We prefer to be in the catering area. Fourth. The boss. Just a very nice guy. We'll be back.

Unfortunately the food today was nothing... It took forever, the gyro was wobbly and partly undercooked, the fries weren't seasoned, the Metaxa sauce was too creamy and had hardly any taste. The service was good, but that was about it...

Were there for the second time. Unfortunately we weren't happy at all today. The service was slow, the wait was long and the food was edible, but nothing more. Gyros fatty, some still raw, tzatziki with thickener, so probably not homemade, rosemary potatoes without fresh rosemary, metaxa sauce without Metaxa, but with lots of onions and mainly cream. For us it was the last time.

The restaurant is located at a football facility. However, it is well signposted. There are sufficient parking spaces available on site. A very successful atmosphere and very friendly employees. Quick order taking. The food is a real pleasure. Everything fresh and delicious. The portions are more than sufficient. And upon request, there are also “half” portions for small appetites.

Always a pleasure - a popular family meeting place for us

Prices very attractive. And unfortunately the gyros were very dry today and the salad was also boring. The second star goes for the beautiful terrace outside and the one star goes for the friendly service. But 3 gyros plates for just over €50 is already excessive.

Beautiful, inviting terrace that is very well attended. Service is quick and nice. The food is functional and very well thought out for the football club and visitors. A manageable menu that will suit all tastes. Prices are a bit excessive for some dishes, but the dishes are delicious.

Best address. I can only recommend it, we eat here almost every weekend. Staff very friendly and accommodating. There is even a terrace which is a dream when the weather is good.

Mann kann da gut und günstig Essen

Obwohl ich nach einer Radtour schon oft vorbeigekommen bin, war ich letzte Woche das erste und definitiv nicht das letztemal da. Das Essen war sehr gut und üppig. Das Preisleistungsverhaltnis ist überragend. Auch die Getränkepreise sind Top. Draußen kann man schon sitzen. Reservierung fur Draußen sinnvoll.

Sehr leckeres Essen und der Inhaber mit seinem Team sind super freundlich. Mit dem Blick in die offene Küche sieht man dass sie bei Stoßzeiten schuften bis zum Umfallen 😊…. aber bei vielen gleichzeitigen Bestellungen im Lokal und zusätzliche Take-away Bestellannahmen kommt es häufig zu sehr! langen Wartezeiten . 1 -1.5 h sind schon mal drin. Wenn sie das besser in den Griff bekämen, (zB in Stossbetriebszeiten ausschließlich auf die Lokalbestellungen konzentrieren) wäre der Besuch noch entspannter. 😉 . Wir kommen immer wieder her und nehmen die Wartezeit hungrig in Kauf…

Mega leckeres Essen und Service echt empfehlenswert

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service eher nicht. Es hat 15 Minuten gedauert bis jemand die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen hat, obwohl nur 3 Tische belegt waren, die alle schon ihre Getränke hatten.

Immer wieder gerne, wenn es Pommes, Gyros oder generell griechisch werden soll. Sehr zu empfehlen und auch wenn es etwas abgelegen ist - der Weg lohnt sich immer!

Die VereinBar unter Leitung von Abdul serviert seit seiner Übernahme leckere als auch geschmackvoll an - und hergerichtete Speisen zu annehmbaren Preisen..... und das innerhalb einer kurzen Zeit. Das Personal macht einen aufgeräumten und sympathischen Eindruck und kommt Nachbestellungen schnell nach. Abdul geht auch allen Extrawünschen außerhalb der Karte nach !! Habe am 3.6.23 meine Familie zu einem Essen in die Verein Bar eingeladen. Es war ein gelungener Abend. Nicht zuletzt wegen dem vorzüglichen Essen und der tollen Bedienung. Selbst der Wunsch meiner Enkeltochter nach einem Kakao war kein Problem. Danke dafür an das Verein Bar Team. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir sind schon lange regelmäßig hier, oder holen uns das Essen nach Hause. Waren heute mit der ganzen Familie da und es stimmte wieder alles. Von der Fischplatte über das Steak bis zum Duroc-Kotelett…einfach köstlich! Macht weiter so!
