My twin brother and I were pub and bar hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into Venloer Stube,been here before on previous holidays to Cologne, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking pub ,interior is superb, pine wood features abound throughout this pub, pubby decor and furnishings,big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a great pub to unwind in. We were here on a cold and rainy December night, pub was warm,busy with a great atmosphere, we sat at the serving bar were two kölsch beers from Sion Brauerei landed on our table, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. A big fan of the various kölsch beers served in this vibrant city on the River Rhine, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this bar, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Venloer Stube we had a great time. Venloer Stube is easy to locate along Venloer Straße. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, open from 2pm. Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Real local pub in a location that is almost extinct. Very popular shop, very warm hosts. Personally, the light is a bit too bright/bright.

While we were walking towards the brilliant Christmas Market in Stadtgarten we visited this superb local pub called Venloer Stube on Venloer Straße. This is a superb local pub with an excellent well kept interior with nice decor and great furnishings and superb features and lots of good seating areas both inside and on the outside terrace area. We only stayed for the one beer which was a Sion Kölsch which where superb and well priced as it's a locals pub.An excellent pub in an excellent area and well worth visiting and easy to find from the Friesenplatz bus or tram/u-bahn stops it's a short walk.(This is my first review of Venloer Stube). Opening Hours. Monday-Closed. Tuesday-Thursday-14.00-22.00. Friday-Saturday-14.00-Open End. Sunday-11.00-21.00. Public Transport Bus Stop. Friesenplatz Bus Stops-172. Tram/U-Bahn Stop. On June 16th, there was a mob of loudly shouting guests in front of the restaurant for hours, who lacked any decency and thereby massively harassed guests of other restaurants - such as the Indian restaurant Royal Punjab on the other side of the street. A little more consideration for others would be necessary.

Wieder so schön bei euch zu sein

Typische Kölschkneipe, die letzte im Veedel! Die neuen Inhaber sind klasse, Herz am rechten Fleck und sehr viel einladender, auch durch das neue Interieur. Jeder ist willkommen! So wünscht man sich ne Veedelskneipe!

Die neue Kneipe ist super geworden, der Wirt ist sehr zuvorkommend & Pepsi ist auch mal was neues. 😊 Super 👌

Waren zur Eröffnung da. Echt gemütliche, kölsche Kneipe. Durch Corona konnten wir leider nicht nochmal hin, aber das werden wir definitiv nachholen, wenn alles wieder im Lot ist. Freuen uns schon drauf.

My twin brother Stephen and I have been to Venloer Stube quite a few times now, always had a great time in here and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this locals pub, a neat and tidy interior, lots of pine wood tables and chairs, a cool looking serving bar and great decor and furnishings, it's a place to just chill out in. We were here on a freezing cold and rainy Thursday night,greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we sat at the serving bar were a very pleasant member of staff deposited two Sion Kölsch beers in front of us ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back,chilled out and warmed up in this cosy pub while sipping our beers. Cologne is justifiably famous for its amazing range of Kölsch beers and Sion Kölsch beer is available in quite a few pubs and bars, it's such a light,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen really enjoy. We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each and a Mexicala shot each ( very hot spiced shot drink ) before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Venloer Stube is easy to locate along Venloer Straße. A great pub,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

Man fühlt sich beim Betreten direkt Heimisch und wird auch so empfangen

"Was machen wir denn zwischen den beiden Spielen?" fragten wir uns 2006 als wir im Stadtgarten WM Spiele schauten. Da kamen wir an der Venloer Stube bei Gerti vorbei und entdeckten den Dart Automaten. Seitdem sind wir dem hausgemachten Eierlikör verfallen. Hier habe ich schon viele lengendäre und lustige Abende bei 80er Jahre Musik verbracht. An der Kiche in der Kupfergasse steht "Gehe nicht vorbei ohne ein Ave Maria zu beten", für die Venloer Stube gilt "Gehe nicht vorbei ohne ein Kölsch zu trinken!"

Absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr nette charmante Lokalität. Die Hausdame ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert! Man kann dort auch alleine hingehen und lernt immer nette neue Menschen kennen! Danke an Venlorer Stube

Eine schöne gemütliche Veedelskneipe

We were wandering around this part of town when we chanced on this cool locals bar and what a great find. Venloer Stube looks superb with pine table's and chairs,great decor and furnishings including photos and paintings of Hohenzollernbrück and the famous Dom,it's got a great atmosphere as the staff make you feel so welcomed in here and as it's predominantly a locals bar you know the beer will be spot on . We were here on a Wednesday night and this place was packed so much so we could only get seats at the bar,a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a couple of beers each and we opted to have a beer widely available throughout Cologne namely Sion Kölsch and these delicious beers were served iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar. The beer was really tasty,I love the various types of Kölsch beers available in Cologne and Sion Kölsch is a particular favourite of mine,I love the famous 0.2L glasses that you find in most every pub,restaurant and bar,as soon as your glass is empty it's replaced straight away with fresh beer. We stayed here for three beers each before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with the great bar. Venloer Stube is easy to locate by jumping the Ubahn or tram number 3.4.5.12.15.18 to stop Friesenplatz were you walk down Venloerstraße were you will find this bar. Opening hours are; Monday,Closed. Tuesday to Saturday,3pm till 1am. Sunday,3pm till Midnight. A great bar and well worth checking out.

Eine schöne,alte,aber gepflegte Kneipe. Die Wirtin ist die Gerti und wenn du mal hungrig bist,gibt es bei ihr Würstchen , knusperige Frikadellen und Riefkoche.Auch zum mitnehmen,dann bruchste nach dem lecker Bierchen nit mer brötschele. Un wenn de dinge Gebootsdach fire wills,mäht dat dir ooch an Büffet un dat Bier künnt ihr üch selber us enem Fässchen zappe .Also got es loore!
