Einer unserer Lieblingsorte: tolle Leute, fantastisches Essen und eine entspannende Atmosphäre zu jeder Jahreszeit. Wir sind regelmäßig dort zum Mittag- und Abendessen – wir lieben es. Danke, VELO-Team!

Das Veggie-Sandwich war insgesamt leider enttäuschend. Beim Pesto war nicht die Menge an sich das Problem, sondern der hohe Ölanteil, wodurch das Sandwich sehr fettig wurde und die Hände danach stark verschmutzt waren. Leider wurden bei der To-go-Bestellung keine Servietten mitgegeben. Geschmacklich fehlte es deutlich an Würze – Salz, Pfeffer und andere Gewürze hätten dem Sandwich gutgetan. Das Gemüse war zwar frisch, insgesamt wirkte das Sandwich aber dadurch eher langweilig. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal. Auch die Location ist optisch sehr ansprechend. Allerdings war es bei 30 Grad im Innenraum unangenehm warm, da die Klimaanlage ausgeschaltet war, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich beeinträchtigt hat.

Essen war wie immer sehr lecker und gut 😊 jedoch war es ziemlich laut (wofür die Betreiber nichts können) und wir haben Recht lange auf unser Essen gewartet. Es waren Recht weniger Kellner:innen für Freitag Abend zur Verfügung. Die Kellner:innen, die da waren ja en jedoch ihr bestes gegeben

Ich war zu Gast einer Hochzeitsgesellschaft im Velo. Wir mussten uns im Voraus unser Gericht reservieren, ich hatte die Rote Beete Falafel Bowl. Die war wirklich super lecker 👍😄. Andere Gesichter wurden länger... Beim Austernpilz Gyros wurde der Geschmack oft nicht getroffen. Die selbstgemachten Saftschorle hingegen waren ebenfalls der Knaller, richtig frisch und fruchtig. Auch der Service war freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Von außen sehr unscheinbar, insgesamt aber im großen und ganzen okay.

Mega toll, dass es in Heilbronn ein veganes Restaurant gibt. Wir sind draußen gesessen und es war sehr schön. Das Essen auch sehr lecker. Hatten gefüllte Cannelloni und frittierte Austernpilze, Vorspeise Mix zum dippen. Kommen gerne wieder!

Wer sich gesund ernähren will, der ist im Velo genau richtig! Essen ist gut, je nach dem was man bestellt hat, könnte die Portion ein wenig größer ausfallen.. Macht weiter so wie bisher

Köstliches Essen - von der Suppe über den Salat bis zum kalten oder warmen Hauptgericht. Und immer in klein oder großer Variante erhältlich. Vegan, mega, satt. Jetzt wieder Outdoor möglich, abgeschieden aber mittendrin in der Stadt!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker - viel Gemüse und saisonal. Auch der Service war super. Wir würden gerne viel öfter kommen, wäre da nicht die Fahrtstrecke.

Super lecker gegessen. Lasagne mit Linsen als Hack. Als Nicht-Veganer keine Abstriche gehabt, auch der "Nichtkäse" und die sahnefreie cremige Kokosblumenkohlsuppe waren toll. Beim Cappuccino bin ich kritisch, aber im Velo waren wir topp zufrieden und gerne mal wieder.

Sehr kinderfreundlich, das Essen war unglaublich gut - vor allem ist das Risotto zu empfehlen!

Total überrascht von dem veganen Restaurant, super lecker und die Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich. Der Karottenkuchen als Nachtisch muss sein. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir waren Samstag nach vielen Jahren wieder im Velo essen und waren richtig enttäuscht. Früher war man nach einen Gericht richtig satt. Das Gericht für knapp 20 Euro waren 3 Karotten, 1 halbierte Kartoffel plus Soße im Überfluss, dazu gab es ein Schälchen Salat. Ich wollte meinen Geburtstagsgästen dieses tolle Lokal zeigen, wo wir vor mehrere Jahren so begeistert waren. Doch gestern waren wir richtig enttäuscht 😢 Ich hatte die Bewertung gelöscht, da ich versucht habe die Bilder vom Gericht mit anzuhängen. Habe den Teller mit den 3 Karotten in Soße bei den Fotos hinzugefügt.

Perfektes Essen und sehr freundliches und höfliches Personal.

Zunächst könnte man das Restaurant beinahe übersehen, da es in HN in einer Seitenstraße liegt. Aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall hier vorbeizuschauen! Das Essen und der Service ist sensationell und auf ganz hohem Niveau. Selbst Vegan-Kritiker können hier kein schlechtes Wort mehr verlieren. Die Karte ist eher klein und übersichtlich, was für mich eigentlich immer ein Zeichen von Qualität ist. Ich bin immer wieder gerne hier!

Absolute Empfehlung für Veganer*innen und Nicht-Veganer*innen. Das Essen ist immer top und das Ambiente super. Reservieren sollte man allerdings, da es meist schon gut voll ist. Komme immer gerne hier her.

Wir waren heute Abend dort essen und es war einfach so unfassbar schön und lecker. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und das Essen war wirklich unfassbar lecker. Und es ist mega enstpannt, nicht nach der veganen Option suchen zu müssen, weil einfach alles vegan ist. Absolute Empfehlung auch an Leute, die nicht vegan leben, auch ihr werdet mit Sicherheit begeistert sein. Ich kann gar nicht oft genug sagen, wie lecker das Essen war. Vielen Dank. Es ist auf jeden Fall sinnvoll, zu reservieren, es war schon einiges los.

Leckere und originelle Gerichte, freundliche Bedienung

Nettes, ruhiges und tierliebes Lokal mit super freundlichem Personal. Ruhiger Außenbereich mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten sowie mehreren Parkhäuser innerhalb 50m. Hervorragende vegane Küche mit ausgefallenen Saisonalen Gerichten. Klare Empfehlung!

Gemütliches Ambiente, freundliches Personal, leckeres veganes Essen und faire Preise. Die Auswahl ist zwar nicht riesig, aber effizient, da das Restaurant täglich zwei Menüs plus ein saisonales Hauptgericht anbietet. An Wochentagen gibt es je nach Besuchszeit zwei verschiedene Hauptgerichte.

Veganes Essen, das schmeckt und dazu raffiniert zubereitet ist. Hier bekommt man mehr als nur das typisch Bekannte vegane Essen.

Sehr leckeres veganes Essen!!! Ich kann sowohl Frühstück, Mittagessen oder Abendessen hier empfehlen. Wir sind schon einige Male hier gewesen und waren immer zufrieden. Guter Wein und sehr liebe Mitarbeiter:) Sehr empfehlenswert auch wenn man nicht vegan isst.

Meine Frau und ich haben uns vorgenommen, vergangenen Freitag das VELO zu besuchen, bevor unser Gutschein im Wert von 60€ verfällt. Leider konnten wir wegen der Beerdigung meines Onkels in Hannover unseren Plan nicht in die Tat umsetzen. Heute, eine Woche nach dem Stichtag, wollten wir es dennoch nachholen aber uns vorher noch telefonisch erkundigen ob man den Gutschein einlösen kann. Uns wurde von einem Mitarbeiter mitgeteilt, dass man da nichts mehr machen kann, der Gutschein ist seit einer Woche abgelaufen. Einfach nur traurig sowas. Wo Menschlichkeit auf der Strecke bleibt sollte man lieber einen großen Bogen machen.

Wenn vegan dann Velo. Mit können und Finesse zubereitete Speisen bei deren Verzehr das Glück in den Magen rutscht. Jeder Bissen ei Genuss. Der Kuchen ist nur gut 👍. Kompliment an den Bäcker/ Konditor/ Winzer, was er macht überzeugt .

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen da. Es war wirklich sehr lecker. Ich hatte das Risotto, MEGA! Der Service war erstklassig! Gerne kommen wir wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf.

Fantastic! A real asset to Heilbronn, especially compared to all the chain restaurants, kebab shops, and other fast-food outlets that are so common here. The food is incredibly delicious and creative, and beautifully presented. We're not even vegetarians, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

If we didn't live several hundred kilometers away, we would be absolute regulars. Unfortunately, this was a one-time visit, but one we will always remember. All the staff were extremely welcoming and simply kind and friendly, which immediately created a great atmosphere. The food was also absolutely fantastic. VELO is a perfect example of how a vegan diet doesn't mean deprivation, but rather enjoyment and pleasure. Many thanks to the entire team!

Amazing to have vegan in Heilbronn, delicious menu, we enjoyed the soup and salad with refreshing drinks. Recommend coming at lunch time or for dinner to try the whole menu. Yum!

The ambiance is rather simple, almost student-like. But the service was very friendly, and the food was excellent. The menu is rather limited, but the quality is very good.

Chanterelle and lemon risotto... or: If taste were a poem, that would be the refrain. I had chanterelle and lemon risotto. And let me put it this way: When summer goes on vacation, that's exactly what it eats. Visually? A warm Pinterest post. Lemon yellow meets forest floor romance, draped with dill rolls that look like they were wrapped by elves. Tastefully? The lemon flirts with the risotto like a sunbeam with a forest floor... friendly, but emphatically. The chanterelle says, "I'm here." Not loudly. More like a good friend who just goes along and knows when to be quiet. To go with the caper roll... dill in a suit. And arugula, which doesn't just serve as decoration, but puts on a performance with the cashew-parsley crumbs like Radiohead on acoustics. Conclusion: A plate like an Element of Crime song... melancholic, spicy, and you'll want to have a glass of wine and write a poem afterward. #LeiderGeil #vgang 🌱

A latte plus carrot cake €12. The recommendation was such a failure that it needs to be communicated to warn people. Ask for the price before ordering. Especially the cake was nothing had vomited it when I got home. It's better to go to the organic bakery Eitel at the church, which is ideal for a coffee break and cake. Very tasty and less than €12 without icing on a carrot cake. I will never enter the store again no go

Nicht zu empfehlen da der Karotten Kuchen nicht so geschmeckt hat und den Firlefanz erspart werden können zumal ich mich erbrochen habe und der ganze Karotten Kuchen erbrochen wurde. Die Johannes Beeren Heidelbeere Sahne Tupfer nicht relevant wenn ich nur einen Kuchen möchte. Der Karotten Kuchen war nicht frisch vor allem Zuckerguss unheimlich viel das keine qualitativ gute Idee ist. So etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt zumal noch überteuert. Eine Latte mit Karotten Kuchen über 11€ danke . Auf nimmer Wiedersehen mit Sicherheit Empfehlung no Go. Nette Bedienung noch nicht lange dort Besitzer gewechselt dem ich auch nicht lange zum überleben gebe. Keine gute Empfehlung die mir die Dame bei Bio Bäcker Eitel gab. Auf nimmer Wiedersehen Wolfi

More than disappointed with the service. The pre-ordered food was out, the ordered lunch menu for €20 was incomplete and the previously discussed intolerance was not taken into account when handing it out. We also didn't like the price haggling at the end.

First of all, I have to praise the nice lady serving...she was really great and very friendly. The salad was excellent, the soup was okay, and the main course wasn't what I expected. I had trimmed oyster mushrooms with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and gravy...the whole meal was more like a soup...far too much gravy. The flavor was naturally dominated by the gravy. That was a shame, because it would have tasted much better otherwise. Unfortunately, our clothes also smelled strongly of the kitchen after the visit, despite the open windows.

VELO is one of the best vegan restaurants I know. Very tasty dishes to melt away :) Pleasant prices. The staff served us very friendly. The children's plate with fries, fruit and vegetables is really great. Vegan meals for kids can be so easy and so delicious!

Die Speisen im Velo sind immer richtig lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Küche zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Kreativität aus. Da auch der Service super nett ist, kommen wir immer wieder gerne.

The bike is no longer what it once was - a shame! My sauerkraut soup was very bland. The dressing of the bowl as well and finally a black (beard) hair at the bottom of the bowl...When I told the waitress about this, she said, yes, I see it! No apology - no offer, e.g. B. to offer an espresso or dessert as compensation!

Rarely have I had such a bad main course, we ate here many years ago and it was really very good. Last Saturday we went to Heilbronn again and ordered the lunch menu in the bike. The soup was very good, as was the salad and the friendliness of the staff, but that cannot be said about the cheese spaetzle. It was more of a cheese soup with a few spaetzles, blandly seasoned, overcooked spaetzles were more in the direction of poor cafeteria quality but at high prices. We like to spend money on food but this wasn't worth it. The way we dealt with our factual criticism was just a "we'll pass it on", which is no way to deal with guests. All in all not recommended, there are better restaurants.

Las sopas si que son el principal motivo para mi de venir cenar aquí y sigue siéndolo. Probé un plato con salsa de pimiento rojo; estaba normalito. El zumo de rubarba no era tampoco genial. Y a parte pastel, no ofrece ningún otro tipo de postres. También el servicio, estaba acostumbrado a otras personas otro estilo… Globalmente, no me ha entusiasmado tanto como antes.

Anyone who appreciates excellent, home-cooked food will feel at home there. It feels family-like and there is uniqueness even in the drinks. We are already looking forward to our next visit and are excited about the menu.

You can have really delicious vegan/vegetarian food on the bike. What I particularly like here is the super *fresh* & varied menu. I have eaten here several times and have always been very satisfied with the food. However, I deduct a star because a visit to Velo usually always takes longer than planned because the restaurant simply doesn't have enough staff. You should also know that you cannot park directly in front of it. Update: I had to revise my review to 5 stars because I ate very tasty food at Velo several times without exception. My food was delicious and the waitresses were incredibly enthusiastic. Unfortunately, the menu I had laid out was not complete and the espresso for my lunch menu came too early. But none of that is important at all and I would come back at any time because the food is lovingly prepared, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Another plus point, the service was so friendly and let me charge my phone. Absolute recommendation.

The food and service are great, but food and drinks are relatively expensive for what you get. It's relatively dark in the alley, so it's not too nice to sit. I would come again.

Super delicious, creative vegan dishes at absolutely fair prices.

We were visiting our friend and had lunch here together. We really enjoyed the cuisine. All dishes were very tasty and lovingly prepared. You can choose a la cart or one of the daily changing lunch menus. With the latter you have the option of choosing between a warm and cold version. We were very satisfied with the bench and can fully recommend the bike.

Very tasty breakfast with a great selection and very nice staff. Actually, the only thing missing is freshly squeezed orange juice

The food there is really delicious and the portions are really big for the price. So I can recommend taking a meal for two (especially if you're not that hungry) But the atmosphere here is also really relaxed. It was one of the best vegan restaurants I've been to so far, and I can only recommend it.

Very tasty food. The dishes have a creative touch and are attractively presented. Very nice staff. The portions can be a little larger. Unfortunately the menu was slightly confusing. Dishes that served from 12 p.m. were no longer available in the evening. The sandwiches e.g. were not available in the evening.

We sat outside on benches with cushions and a blanket. The food was super good and the service was very, very friendly. What more could a woman want??? Gladly again!!!

The Velo offers a welcoming atmosphere in a quiet side street. I love the zucchini spaghetti and their salad dressing has been legendary for years. A quiet oasis of well-being not far from the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian zone, I always look forward to coming here!

Brilliant food and very good atmosphere. Absolute recommendation. Go there! We were at the burger evening yesterday, everything was so delicious again, compliments to the kitchen and also to the particularly friendly and attentive wait staff.

A good vegan restaurant, the dishes are high quality and mostly very tasty. However, a lot went wrong on the last visit - the same cocktails were prepared very differently, the rum was forgotten in one of them, a herb patty was served cold and not fully cooked, an order was mixed up and a dessert was completely forgotten. It's a real shame because we were otherwise happy. Update: it's time to award more stars again. The last visit was great again - the gnocci were really great!

Very nice and friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Yesterday's lunch, penne with basil cream and nuts, was super delicious. Have been a guest in this restaurant a few times and have been very satisfied every time.

Super tasty, aromatic and healthy food, freshly prepared - simply recommended! The restaurant is relatively small, so it can get crowded and loud quickly, but after 1 p.m., for example, it becomes quieter and emptier.

A 100% vegan restaurant in the city center of Heilbronn. Had a lasange and a side salat. Everything tasted great. Will be back when I visit Heilbronn the next time.

Bedienung war super lieb, aber der Cappuccino und der Latte Macchiato waren leider wirklich schlecht. Hat nach einem schlechten Filterkaffee mit Milchschaum geschmeckt, wurde aber sicher nicht mit einem Espresso Shot gemacht und eine Crema gab es auch nicht. Zum Essen können wir nichts sagen, das haben wir nicht probiert.

Ich habe einen gemischten Salat gegessen, ein Traum. Eine Vielfalt das wR eine wahre Bracht, Trauben, Obst, Zucchini Nudeln, Veganer Ziegenkäse eingelegte Tomaten und vieles mehr, dazu leckeres Vollkornbrot. Und eine sehr leckere Salatsosse. Alles frisch zubereitet. Wird definitiv mein neues Lieblingslokal.
