Overall a good restaurant, sufficient buffet at a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and attentive. Ambience lacks a little more coziness, but that's subjective. We'd love to come back.

Always good food in this restaurant, but during the buffet the buffet trays are regularly empty. It's like buying a car without an engine.

We ate thali and it was excellent. We go out for Indian food very often and found it exceptionally good here. The service was very friendly, they could only notice empty glasses more quickly.

We spontaneously ordered something to take away yesterday. The Garlic Naan and the Lamb Channa were super tasty and the portion was huge. What's also really cool is that you can specify the level of spiciness before preparation. So there is something for everyone. The service was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back.

I did not like the food at all. I ordered dal makhni but i got yellow dal instead and when i asked her she said this is pur dal makhni. One of my german colleagues order salad & Pickel with mango & lemon and when we received the mango & lemon Pickel, i was not able to find any mango pr lemon piece in it. Naan was also worst, it was not naan at all but it was looking like thicker paratha. I did not like the food at all. Though name is bit Indian but restaurant is Srilankan.

We were able to enjoy the rich and delicious Indian buffet. A service that was there with open eyes and quickly fulfilled our wishes - top! The ambience still has room for improvement; still everything clean and tidy. Gladly again.

We opted for ala carte dishes and not the buffet that was also offered. The menus were a joke to say the least. Printed sheets in cling film, stapled together at one corner at the top. The service is friendly, but doesn't seem very professional. The dishes were tasty, but rather lightly seasoned. I ordered a lamb dish with the highest level of spiciness. What I got was far from spicy. After complaining, I received my dish back, a little spicier, but far away from what I know as "Indian spicy". I'm aware that spiciness is a subjective feeling, but this was disappointing. Starter soup was really good. The dessert was good, but clearly overpriced in terms of quantity, quality and the way it was carelessly "prepared". My companions were happy with the food, but not really anything more. Overall, the prices are at a normal level. The lassie with mango was by far the best of the meal and is recommended even if you don't need it to temper spicy food. :-(

Consistently very good food for years. At the weekend you have the option to order a buffet so you can enjoy many taste explosions straight away. Vegetarians and people who like mild food also get their money's worth.

The owner is very friendly, the service was good, the restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. I enjoyed the food extremely well. The starter was a chicken soup that was delicately seasoned and I really liked the consistency and color of it. The main course was Adassi; great consistency, fabulous taste, spicy. We would love to come back and thank you for this excellent food!

The food (buffet) was ok, but nothing really special. Some dishes were also permanently empty and were not refilled. The price for the buffet was significantly too high at EUR 24.90! The service was friendly. The ambience is ok, but it has a bit of a “waiting hall” feel. Parking can be quite difficult.

We ate here with several people. Since we have been eating Indian food for 30 years, we of course have certain ideas about what it should be like. The food was disappointing in terms of taste. The typical Indian spices were missing. Unfortunately it was a far cry from Indian food as we know it. There are many opportunities to improve here. Don't try to adapt everything to German tastes, but rather prepare original cuisine. The selection was ok, but half of the warming trays were always empty, so you always couldn't find what you wanted to eat in combination. Fruit flies in the bowls weren't nice either. At the end we drank cocktails. I think they were the worst we ever drank. Each cocktail had nothing to do with the original. Zero stars for it. It's no use if it's happy hour. All in all, we prefer to go to Düsseldorf. The journey is longer and the prices are higher, but the food tastes Indian. And that is what it is about. Tip: Try Jaipur.

We had dinner at Vayra last night; We didn't know Indian cuisine before, which is why we chose the buffet. We were thrilled; The food was not only delicious, but also offered different flavors and was not one-size-fits-all. Everything traditionally prepared including desserts. The restaurant itself is not that big, so it is rather quiet. Nice facility. The service was very friendly and the prices are absolutely reasonable. We will come back in any case.

Service and atmosphere were good. One curry base for all items. We were 11 and ordered different non veg and. Veg items. It was not good at all I am sure They have one curry base which is full of room cream or milk cream only veg/non veg pieces they put and serve. Ordered Madras rasam but it was also served with room cream dal in thali also they didn’t leave it .. added with room cream.. It’s neither North Indian nor South Indian taste.. sorry lot of place for improvement

There was something for everyone, including vegan options. Everything tasted good to us. The dessert selection was also interesting. Very attentive service, very friendly. Pleasant atmosphere, quiet audience. Everything was just right for us that evening. We'd love to come back.

You don't expect that in the country! Bollywood on the Lower Rhine. The buffet is always fresh and well stocked!

Wir holen hier immer ab. Drinnen haben wir noch nie gegessen, deswegen kann ich das nicht beurteilen. Das Essen ist brutal gut. Unser absoluter Lieblingsinder! Die Gerichte sind groß und es herrscht ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Kann nur Positives berichten. Essen lecker, sie Bedienung Top und sehr nett.

Wir waren an einem Samstag zum Abendbuffet hier - die Auswahl war gut, es gab Fleischgerichte, vegetarische Gerichte, Salat, Linsensuppe... Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht überragend. Die Suppe war eher geschmacksneutral, ein Gericht war sehr scharf (war aber auch so gekennzeichnet), das Lamm sehr zäh und ließ sich kaum schneiden. Alles andere war ok. Mir fehlten einfach die typischen Aromen, sie waren nur in vereinzelten Gerichten und dann sehr subtil wahrnehmbar. Das Nachtischbuffet war ok, allerdings schwirrten einige Fruchtfliegen im Obst, fand ich nicht so toll. Zum Abschluss haben wir noch einen Cocktail getrunken und leider muss ich sagen, dass ich noch nie einen so schlechten Mojito getrunken habe, es war nur die Säure der Zitrusfrucht wahrnehmbar. Schade, denn der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam!

Das absolut beste indische Restaurant. Hier stimmt alles. Super toller Service. Hammer leckeres indisches Essen. Buffet mit riesen toller Auswahl, auch an vegetarischen Gerichten. Kommen so gerne und oft hier her. Absolut Empfehlenswert! Großes Lob!

Ein vielfältige Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Nachspeisen. Die Auswahl an Vegetarischen und Veganen Speisen ist zu empfehlen. Super nette Bedienung und Service. Wir können das Vayra nur empfehlen und kommen bald wieder.

Früher, als das Restaurant noch in MG war, fand ich es was Ambiente und Essen betrifft, besser. Das Essen war reichhaltig, hat mir aber nicht so geschmeckt.

Tolles Inhaber geführtes Restaurant. Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Service sehr gut. Das Buffet ist reichhaltig und es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten. Absolute Empfehlung! Vorher reservieren ist sinnvoll.

das essen war super, gruss an die Küche! Service auch gut und zuvorkommend. Leider sehr hektisch überall und das Ambiente erinnert überall noch an das alte China Restaurant und leider war unser Tisch nicht sauber und klebrig. Unbedingt vorher reservieren ;-)

Das essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung war super freundlich. Können es nur weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Richtig leckeres Essen. Das Buffet bietet eine super große Auswahl zu einem fairen Preis.

Wir kannten das Vayra noch aus Mönchengladbach und waren wegen Corona lange nicht mehr dort. Durch Zufall haben wir nun die neue Adresse gefunden und direkt einen Tisch reserviert. Wie früher wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und bedient. Das Essen war köstlich und erinnerte an Indien. Die Lokation ist sehr schön gestaltet und hat nun viel mehr Platz als früher. Wir werden nicht das letzte mal dort gewesen sein, auch weitere Anfahrten lohnen sich. Beim nächsten Essen dort werden wir auch ein paar Bilder hinzufügen.

Mein absoluter "Lieblings -Inder" Wir sind Stammgäste im Vayra schon seit vielen Jahren. Früher in Rheydt fußläufig - aber wir fahren auch 20 Kilometer für: tolle indische Küche ! Frische Zutaten ob 🐟, Hähnchen 🐔 oder Lamm! Gut gewürzte , cremige Saucen - den Schärfegrat kann man bei der Bestellung wählen. Wir lieben es a la carte zu essen aber auch das Buffet sieht gut aus und ist beliebt. Die Chefin ist super nett und auch alle anderen Servicekräfte sind aufmerksam und freundlich.

Vor Jahren in Rheydt gewesen und köstlich gegessen - Vorsicht, nicht zu mutig sein in puncto Schärfegrad 😎 Immer wieder mal vorbeigekommen und passend zum cocooning evening, zum Mitnehmen angehalten ! Das Butter Naan war super lecker, Blumenkohl und Hähnchen, in Kichererbsenteig auch ! Beide Hauptgerichte auch sehr gut !

War zum ersten Mal hier, habe ein Indisches Restaurant in der Nähe gesucht. Toller Service ,super netter Service. Sehr kurze Wartezeit für Essen alla Cart. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen und perfekt umgesetzt, das gibt es so auch nicht mehr überall.👍🏻 Super lecker und für die gebotene Qualität faire Preise. Freu mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch bei euch

Mein Freund und ich waren bisher 2x dort - 1x a la Carte und 1x Buffet. Man merkt Vorort deutlich den Unterschied zwischen einer Kette und diesem Familien Unternehmen - spiegelt sich vor allem in der Einrichtung und dem Service wieder :) Das Restaurant ist liebevoll & kulturell eingerichtet und Essen wird mit viel Liebe serviert. Auf individuelle Wünsche wird eingegangen und die Auswahl ist vor allem für Vegetarier & Veganer perfekt! Wir kommen gerne wieder☺️
