We've been going to Vapiano every now and then for years. But I have to admit, it could be a bit cleaner, and more people wouldn't hurt. The food was delicious. The service was generally nice and friendly. Only the young man who made us coffee drinks was so slow that we almost fell asleep. We still love the place and will be back.

Became aware of the restaurant through the barometer. We were looking forward to a lovely evening with delicious food. But things turned out differently. Service is not there at all, ok you can still live with it somewhere. Unfortunately, the noodles were simply tasteless, despite being salted. The portion was super small, so we actually ate something somewhere else afterwards. There were acquaintances sitting at two more tables who later asked us if we were satisfied, they would never go to Vapiano again, they also had tasteless food and small portions, unfortunately we agree with that. Unfortunately there were also dirty cutlery and glasses

Today we were at the Vapiano in Oldenburg. We have rarely experienced such an unfriendly welcome. When the drinks were served there was a gentleman who gave us the impression that we were a nuisance. Arrived at the place, dust on the lamps, dirt and leftover food in the stone bowls. Oil bottles completely oiled, impossible to touch without a cloth. If we hadn't already ordered the food, we would have left. All in all, not a great visit. The hygiene was really unpleasant. We would like to give a positive message to the young man at the checkout, who said goodbye in a friendly and warm manner.

After a long time we went to eat at Vapiano again. At the reception - which was very friendly - the good gentleman pointed out several times that EVERY ingredient was made/produced in-house. Came across as strange... didn't fit the situation. Have there ever been any reviews along these lines? I remembered the food MUCH better, the spaghetti aglio e olio with smoked salmon was the worst I've ever eaten: pasta stuck together, had hardly any garlic or peppers and the salmon was so burnt that it almost resembled a briquette. Overall, the noodles tasted like Chinaman's. My wife's pasta had so much pepper in it that it masked the actual taste. The tables were dusty (especially the lamps!) and the stone containers in the middle of the table were dirty and crumbled. It was the last time we were there, what a shame.

We ordered food for takeaway. A little difficult way to order. The pizza was a bit tasteless. We had to return the salad as it was brown and boring. They try again with the same result. In the end it was exchanged for a pizza. The best was the coke.

Too expensive, too small a portion and poor service. The food was delicious, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right and unfortunately we weren't full either.

I initially found the concept at Vapiano in Oldenburg really promising - the idea of ​​selecting and designing everything yourself “on a card” was something new. I also found it positive that you could choose bread for free. The bathrooms were clean and the overall process was well organized. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. My girlfriend and I both had the Pesto Basilico, she with fusilli, I with penne, also with mozzarella. Unfortunately it didn't taste good - for her the dish was very bitter, for me it was totally overloaded with oil (see photo). It really almost only tasted like oil. That was a shame, because the idea and the surroundings are actually good, but you just have to expect more when it comes to food.

I used to go to Vapiano more often, but the concept has now lost a lot of quality for me. Wait times are long even though the store wasn't full. The food arrived lukewarm, and there was really nothing special in terms of taste - the pasta seemed like it came out of a package, the sauce was rather bland. The staff tried hard, but were sometimes overwhelmed and not very attentive. The atmosphere was restless, more like a train station than a cozy restaurant. I definitely expected more for the prices. Vapiano used to be an insider tip - now it's more of a mass transaction without any charm. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

A great restaurant, with great food! Friendly service and very, very friendly service. Short waiting times and perfectly seasoned food!! I'm completely satisfied ;)

2.5/5 stars Went there 2 for 1 because of the barometer offer. Reception was unwarm, dry and uninviting. I would love to turn around again. Farewell and payment due to other service being nice and friendly. The food was okay, tasted good, was fresh and included bread. We didn't like the atmosphere at all anymore. Floor, showcases, seating very very dirty. The table wasn't even wiped after clearing away. Prices are quite high, but the performance is good. Without offers like barometers etc. we would rather choose other locations.

The noodles were totally sticky and the taste was practically non-existent.

The food consists of 50% frozen onions and cheap fat - the pasta is soggy because it's old, the "fresh spices" on the tables are dead and or overgrown. The waitress does what she can to somehow get something good out of this chain that is doomed to soon die with overpriced prices. But of course they're not professional either, at most temporary level.

2 out of 4 pasta dishes were not edible. We all had different noodles. The spaghetti was overcooked. A sauce was burnt. Bread was hard and old. The two pesto dishes were delicious, hence 2 stars. Toilets were very dirty. Staff very distant. You can only load €70 per card that you get at the beginning to pay for later. A family with 2 children are forced to use 2 cards and cannot load everything on one

I was there with my friend because I had only heard good things. But this was completely different when we were there. Cutlery and glasses and toilets were absolutely not clean. Way too overpriced and not even table service, which is absolutely not my thing

We had the 2 for 1 noodle offer through the barometer and were asked if we could write a review. Gladly. The reception was ok. Not bad, not good. The grade for this would be satisfactory. The ordering machine is great. You know it from the chain with the big M. So you definitely get what you ordered. :) Unfortunately, the delivery of the food was very careless. Set up and finished. Not a word and not a look. Too bad. The food itself was very tasty, but nothing special that you have to come back for. Maybe we'll try the pizza again. She looked pretty good at the next table. The farewell and payment was great. Here we asked again whether everything was ok and in a very friendly manner, as one would wish. Thank you very much for that and maybe see you soon for a pizza.

Was there during the lunch break, the food is quite tasty but very unseasoned, no problem you can add seasoning yourself. Staff want to get everything done quickly, so questions are only answered in an annoyed manner. Places were not cleared/dirty. €14.95 for a plate of pasta with two dry pieces of bread and then treated unkindly, I think I'll save that in the future...

Hmm. Were there during lunch. The receptionist apparently didn't feel like it. Overall, the service was rather casual. The food was average. The noodles were rubbery. Kind of a weird consistency. The carbonara had nothing to do with carbonara. But you can't expect that in this price range. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is good.

I've always heard good things about Vapiano, but that was the last time for me. Service was very unfriendly, the pasta was undercooked and the scampi. Afterwards I had a fever, vomited 8 times during the night and there doesn't seem to be a clean kitchen. My companion also had a mutilated stomach afterwards. It's a shame it used to be better. We were there on 3/9/25

Fast food food at restaurant prices.

Pizza was very good and tasty, lasagna was very burnt and didn't taste good either. But I got a coffee as compensation.

Vapiano was fundamentally very good, but Oldenburg unfortunately dropped deeply in our reputation. Mushy pasta, salads were once better and .... we don't like Pinsa .... - there is an Italian buffet in Cologne, unbeatable better. We used to go to Vapiano every week, but now we haven't for weeks. It's a shame... we're sorry, but the price-performance ratio is no longer right... sorry, no recommendation

The worst food experience I've ever had in Germany, I gave the food a 1, but it deserves zero, something indecent.....service 1 as it doesn't exist, nice environment.....I don't know how it manages for a place like this to still be open, in other parts it would already be closed, really rubbish.....

We order 5 pastas they’re all different. We were 5 guys. The pastas were not cooked properly the gravy in the pastas were too less last time we had pastas from bremen Vapiano.The vapiano in bremen was good. But Oldenburg branch broke our hearts. We complain it with the manager but the manager was not accepting the mistake. He was saying that this is the standard. I would recommend not to try Vapiano Oldenburg. The atmosphere was nice and the sitting area was also clean.

Dishes have become far too expensive. One star deduction for price performance. I had a pasta dish with shrimp spinach and cherry tomatoes that only had 4 shrimp in it. These weren't original cherry tomatoes either... more like small date tomatoes sliced... The dish for €16 and my husband also had a pasta dish with prawns and beef fillet tips for €18. That is very expensive. Two people just under €50 for pasta with a drink. There is a further deduction for the atmosphere. It was really cold without a jacket. So we just ate quickly and left. Maybe you can adjust your prices again or change the dish so that the price-performance matches the quality.

Friendly staff, the food is freshly prepared. Large selection of pasta types. The only thing I noticed was that the toilet gave off a very unpleasant smell. I usually like to eat here.

Prices are slowly becoming too expensive for the product

Delicious food and sufficient portions. Are here regularly. Point deduction for the not so ideal ordering system. If I order a coffee and then have to go to the bar to pick it up, the customer has to wait at the bar until the drink is made. If there are more people in front of you, you wait forever and stand around in the area. The pre-selection at the ordering machine is also not ideal. It doesn't matter whether you choose a little or a lot of chili, for example. In the end you always get the same amount. We've noticed it several times. Either you stick to what is ordered at the machine or you leave it alone. Otherwise nice atmosphere and highly recommended for a quick pasta or pizza.

The two of us paid €50 and didn't get full. The portions are children's portions. The bruchetta is for a quick taste; before you have tasted the flavors in your mouth and have forgotten the expensive money, the second slices are unfortunately already gone. You can also save on service if they only clean the table very roughly. Too bad

Just don't eat there on Thursdays. It's loud... and "Love Island" Trash TV is on.

good morning , Very cold and almost tasteless pizza for 16 €, received the wrong drink as ordered, no table service, table not particularly clean as well as cutlery. However, my wife's pasta dish was okay and warm. Sorry but I can't recommend.

I have to praise the Vapiano Oldenburg again today. Me and my wife went for pizza today. My wife had a Pizza Tonno and I had a Pizza Bruschetta. A dream, the dough is nice and thin and crispy. The ingredients were super fresh, you could tell that in the taste. For us, the best pizza in Oldenburg. Thanks to the pizza maker! Keep it up!

Pizza hasn't been around for a long time, these pinsas are just dry and tasteless, hard like stale bread. It's also expensive and there's a different way to clean it. Table wasn't wiped, there were crumbs under the table and the toilets - oh well!

I didn't want to push myself, I just wanted to explain or ask which of the 4 meals out of the house were meat-free. They were unfriendly and the food was all packed in one bag! Now I had to open the food one by one and see who owned which one. The food belongs to different households. 😡

Classic Vapiano. Good, fast, fresh.

Unfortunately it was very loud in the hall. And negative is the fast food principle, but with restaurant prices for a few noodles with extras, I'm less likely to repeat it.

Unfortunately there are no regular pizzas anymore, which is a real shame. There are now Pinza, which don't taste very good and are more reminiscent of frozen products. The price for this is also significantly too high at €15. Unfortunately, service also leaves a lot to be desired and could be described as unfriendly. Addendum from October 24th, 2024: Why can you order normal pizza at Lieferando and on the website, but not in the restaurant? The pizza is significantly better than the local Pinsa.

It started with the welcome on Saturday. The four of us came to dinner in the early evening, were very happy, greeted the staff in a friendly manner at the entrance and only received strange looks. There should at least be a friendly greeting. The system at Vapiano with the ordering terminals brings McDonald's vibes including canteen flair. It definitely used to be better! When the meal was ready, my noodles weren't fully cooked. They probably could have cooked for 2 minutes longer... well... and during the meal, employees joined our table to get the paper bags with LED lights ready for the outside area. Does it have to be that way? You don't have to go there again. Given the prices and the lack of customer friendliness, it would be better to sit down in a "real" restaurant. You pay the same and still have good customer service.

Here again after years, nothing has changed. The Caesar salad was quite good, only the chicken breast we ordered for 4.90 euros almost had to be searched for and wasn't worth ordering. Otherwise quite nice after a visit to the city.

I've always been a fan of Vapiano, but the enthusiasm is waning a lot. The Pinsa doesn't taste nearly as good as the pizza that was available before and has now been discontinued. The portions are too small to really fill you up. While we were sitting at the table, staff came to the table 3 times to exchange tea lights. This is extremely disruptive during conversations. Too bad...

Prices have risen insanely. Supplements were forgotten. Service unfriendly. Unfortunately no longer recommended. It was very heavily mined.

Staff are nice in themselves, but the food is constantly decreasing, the portions when delivered are definitely smaller than on site (pasta with chicken)

The food is good, the ambience is too, but the music is endlessly annoying.

I ordered Pasta cacio e pepe, a typical dish of Rome. But I got a very small portion of pasta with butter Far from the Roman recipe I tried to contact the Local to get an explanation (mistakes can happen in the ristorazion) but I received no response I think it is better to propose simple dishes but done well than to want to propose typical recipes without knowing how to execute them

Divided into two: We had 2x gluten-free pinsa and 1x gluten-free. The gluten free ones were great! I didn't like the gluten one, it's definitely not worth €15. For the gluten-free ones there is an additional charge of €2.50 each, so you end up with €17.50. Unfortunately this is too expensive for what you get!

The food is delicious and you can also chill out here in peace. Prices okay for Oldenburg. It's just not the best location when it comes to parking. But the restaurant can't help that.

Also the other content with wafer-thin Mushroom slices, clear stocked, left a lot to be desired and didn't change the taste. Price-performance ratio doesn't work here at all. We won't be coming back any time soon.

We were there for the first time today, wanted to know if our dog was allowed in, yes and just like that I had a card in my hand without any explanation. Then I asked how it worked. It didn't smell very fresh in the shop, there were crumbs everywhere on the floor, and that was shortly after it opened for lunch! I then used 2 cards to order at the order point. Took 2 trackers. Ordered the same salad twice. Only one tracker worked and only 1 order was recorded. The second salad was quickly put together for me, but the ingredients were missing. What do they do when something really goes on? I didn't feel like going out again to complain! 2x salad for €15.90 each!!! No snapper either. There was nothing going on at the drinks bar, I placed my order (2 drinks!) clearly and was asked twice about the order in a mumble. We didn't feel comfortable. Overall, I would say - we won't go there again!

Not particularly tasty, dirty tables

The food was good and plentiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Waiting time short. Good parking options also for disabled people. I went back to the restaurant a few days later and was pleasantly surprised.

I used to often enjoy eating at Vapiano. I often had the Caesar salad and the small one was always enough to fill me up. That's why I thought we'd order from Lieferando recently and it was a complete disappointment. The carbonara didn't taste particularly good. I only had the salad and either they simply deliver smaller portions for the same price or the salad is generally smaller. It was a mini quantity for €15.

Food was ok but very unfriendly owner

Unfriendly staff when ordering, very small portions and really expensive. In addition, the food was really carelessly served on scratched plates. Both of our pastas barely had any sauce or other ingredients and the taste wasn't really good either.

One of our favorite restaurants years ago but the quality is slowly declining. Still ok, but not the same anymore.

Bleh...really a really bad meal! I ordered a pesto pasta, you might think you can't go wrong with that, these Germans can! It was a lot of grease with undercooked pasta, but according to the manager that is the standard here... then I wanted to go to the toilet, to my greatest horror there was just "a brown substance" on the toilet seat, then I knew: I never come here again. I never write a review but I wanted to take this undercooked pasta away from you. Moreover, the staff was not friendly either... All in all, I definitely wouldn't go here!

The food was very disgusting, the pasta was undercooked, greasy and sticky. The man behind the bar who gives you your order is not friendly at all and shouts at you. There were brown smudges on the toilet seat, very dirty. Not recommended!!!!

The service is top. The staff very nice. The ambience is great. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. Food was ice cold and customers constantly went back to the chefs with their food because something was missing or it was prepared incorrectly.

Orders are constantly being canceled. It's just annoying. If you don't want to sell anything, you should stay away from Lieferando. You don't seem to be aware that the evening will be in the A... At some point you check the delivery time because it's taking an awfully long time and you realize that the order has been canceled. Then organizing something new is either no longer possible because you have to get up early, or it no longer has anything appealing to offer. Please close the doors from the inside...

Very expensive food, tiny portions. The lasagne is more of a children's portion for over 12 euros. The photo shows a normal knife and the lasagne portion in comparison. It tastes good.

I'm a big fan of the risotto here, the wine selection is high quality and the ambience has something to suit every taste. I also appreciate having high-quality oils on hand - preferably the one with chili in it.

Unfortunately we had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. The conversations at the checkout were about tips, so I as a customer wasn't noticed until late. Since it was my first time in this restaurant, it would have been nice if I had received an introduction to the system of ordering and later collecting the food and drinks. Instead, I was handed a card and left behind. When the food was ready and I picked up the portions, to make matters worse, the food was mixed up. We ordered gluten-free and received a non-gluten-free dish. However, this error was quickly noticed and the correct thing was brought to us. Our wrong portion then went to another table even though the dish was already with us. To make matters worse, the portions were extremely small and not at all worth the money we paid. We left the restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are many other options in the area with better service and more reasonable portions.

Rarely have I eaten or experienced anything so bad, My César salad with extra chicken meat and without dressing and croutons for 16€ where everything could have been done wrong (5 pieces of chicken felt like a bottle of dressing and twice croutons) what an absolute disgrace... The zoodles with shrimp for a mere €20 with 4 shrimp on them were absolutely below the belt! No less than 43€ for nothing!!!

Unfortunately today's visit was a complete failure. The noodles we ordered were tasteless and not hot. The mushrooms ordered were missing from the pizza or pinsa we ordered. We were then offered to redo them. If I hadn't been careful I would have gotten the same Pinsa again. The employee simply threw a few mushrooms on top of the finished product and apparently wanted to run them through the oven again! That is not how it works! The dough is a finished product and far too expensive for the quality. Our comments were ignored when paying! No recommendation from us!

In contrast to other Vapiano restaurants, there is no live cooking here, but you order from a central location and receive a beeper that flashes and vibrates when the food is ready. The acceptance of the order was very rough. No questions were asked as to whether one would like to add or deselect garlic or other ingredients. I know it differently from other Vapiano restaurants. The tables felt sticky and some were still full of crumbs. I had to search for a long time to get six clean forks. Three forks were contaminated with a black, sticky “something.” The food also lacked that “certain something” that I was used to from other Vapiano restaurants. The shrimp at Reef n Beef was burnt. Unfortunately I cannot make any recommendations here.

Had dinner there today. The portion was a joke and exactly like the children's pizza, so it tasted absolutely disgusting. My daughter said to Dad that it tasted like a frozen pizza. The spaghetti with pesto tasted like water, the bolognese was not good. And take a lot of money for it. At the checkout I almost lost faith when he said 65 euros. When he asked if it tasted good, I said no. And he just said that's just the way it is, Vapiano has been declining for years, it's a shame
